  1. Entering the all so familiar shop Takneil swiped open his menu, his next custom orders already on his mind. Lacking armor or really any weapon he approached the counter, dawned in his Artisan clothing. ink here and there against the white of his dress shirt, and some clay residue on his black dress pants. The Eternal melody Armor, it was starting to affect him. It's sinister appearance and aura leaving a mark on the boy. Something he was fearing, maybe it was cursed. Like Oikawa had joked many months before. Letting out a sigh he deposited the appropriate amount of materials for his new orders, hopefully the new set would be able to purify that aura. He had made a promise, he needed to see the world through Ebony's eyes...

Submitting the order without needing to see the blacksmith he made his way out of the shop, knowing that Oikawa would know who had ordered the equipment by it's unique keywords. Hopefully he didn't take offense to it, people...were one of the last things he needed at this moment.

  2. Letting out a relieved sigh Takneil smiled as both his allies took his advice, maybe he was more of a strategist than a fighter?. Lifting his sword an orange eye scanned over the black blade, maybe he was surviving all in the wrong way?. Looking back up to the shattering boss he sheathed his sword and let out a sigh, he had been thinking about a lot recently. The teaching of his mentor, the words of the healer Ebony, and most of all his shifting emotions. turning to follow the blacksmith, a simple snap of a finger and the <<Eternal Melody>> armor fizzled into smoke. Leaving only the chest plate on the boy.

Shaking his head The Eternal Knight looked to Oikawa. "If not for you and Ariel I surely would have died trying to do the <<Lich>> alone, then the sub dungeon after that? I think I leveled up twice from this." Nodding he turned towards the teleport gate. "Thank you, I hope one day I can repay both of you..."

  4. "How are those two little hellions doing by the way?" Takneil asked over the roars of battle. "Vain is doing good, a little lazy recently but I think he's just sad he can't be any help in battle." he spoke out finding the conversation a great pass time. Nodding to Oikawa's call out to the Eternal Knight. "I'll do my best!". An orange eye glazing over the boss his grip tightened around the hilt of his blade. If he attacked he was sure to gain aggro...

Pushing past his fears the boy launched forward, but as he lunged towards the beast it swiftly dodged. Becoming more weary of the player's attacks. "Someone intercept it!, it's moving so it'll be hard to stop!." He yelled the plan to his allies noticing the flaw in the swiftness of the foe.

  5. eyeing the new mobs that had arrived and challenged the blacksmith, Takneil nodded. "I agree, I'd prefer to be back at my shop for a nice meal before it gets too late." he casually stated as he took a step forward, raising the jagged blade of Eternal Overture. "got it." a white light veiling across his sword he swiftly lashed out towards the scatterlings, slamming the blade into the ground the light escaped into the cracks. Pushing up chunks of earth until eventually exploding, causing the enemies to be blown apart.

  6. A lot of people complained about not receiving them in email, including myself. So we moved it on site and Erron also posts it to the facebook page. And regarding the PK events, everything has yet to be concrete about that apparently so I can't give out information. A staff member made an announcement regarding Teayre's and Manta's deaths stating that they were both dead (of course Ebony as well) but after I release the newsletter I got informed that the announcement was false?. So it's better to not go in depth on things like that as it would be 'Fluid information' [Info that can change.] But i do have a hot topics idea, I announced ages ago that people should PM me their top favorite threads of the month, I'll go through and read them. Select them. and have them be in the newsletter, but no one has PMed me sooooo... yeah.

  7. letting out a sigh Takneil smiled as he managed to get a nice amount of materials done this day, nothing like when he had gotten a full variety of working items but he couldn't complain. "Guess it's time to give it a rest." he smiled as he leaned back in his chair. Running a hand through his smooth hair he readjusted the blue ribbon he kept to keep it neat, surprisingly the long monochrome hair didn't get in the way of battle but it always meddled in his creativity. Hearing a bell ring loudly through the building the boy stood from his chair and exited his workshop, not bothering to check to see if his Dress Shirt and pants were dirty from paint. walking through the door the boy felt a little surprised as a familiar good stood on the other side of the counter. "huh?, morning Teion. What can I do for you?" he asked happily.

  8. "To be honest I don't really have accuracy right now but my damage went up a bit." he shrugged. Passing through the gate he walked into the burning sands of the desert, the heat nullified due to the cold his armor gave off. "Seems pretty simple, so this boss ignore damage mitigation? that doesn't seem like fun" he stated a bit worried for his own well being. it would be foolish of him to expect his mentor to be in any danger because of that as he had outrageous health while the boy only had around eighty or so. "Well, I say you should take the first attack. I'll sweep in and try my best to kill him if your attack isn't enough, hopefully that'll prevent me from dying on this quest." he planned out, using his mentor's high output of damage as their trump card.

  9. "Hey Hik!" Yelling for his friend to get attention The monochrome boy stumbled into the shop with a comical amount of weapons and armor in his arms. "I brought you some things to appraise!." he yelled once more as he set the equipment onto the counter, the various tools scattering filling the top. "You said you wanted to appraise well here you go!, also ignore the price tags. I totally didn't buy someone's entire stock for you." he chuckled nervously.

"Oh right! how did my previous order come out?" he asked.

    -Added to Appraisal.

  10. "Actually there is something..." Takneil spoke abruptly, running a careful orange eye over the girl's entire stock he picked up the weapons and armor that were not of perfect status. If his Merchant friend wanted to complain about not having anything to work on he would shove these in his face. Setting them casually on the counter the boy offered a smile and swiped open his menu. "how much for all of these?" he asked hoping it wouldn't run him into the ground.

  11. Tapping his pen fervently against the bank sketch paper the monochrome artisan let out an annoyed sigh, of course he would come into a bit of a halt on his muse. He had been working so well, determined to fill his shop with items Takneil needed more customers. He was investing way too much into it yet he had only had two requests. Out of the many items he had already made. Tightening his other hand the boy shook his head and started sketching out a concept, he just needed to simply keep at it, once he had more items on display. The more attention he would get.

  12. "Eh, more like been relaxing at my shop. You're the first person to contact me in a long time, even Bell and the group have seemed to lost contact with me." he shrugged as he remembered the past few months, he had spent teaching low level player's how to survive. He felt as though he was doing something good but when he heard one of them jumped head first into <<The Falling of Tagas>> quest he was devastated. "So doing well?, not so much. Hanging in there? barely. But yeah, haven't tipped over the edge just yet." he stated. Offering a weak smile.

Nodding he strapped Eternal Harmony to his arm and set Eternal Overture at his side. "So what's the game plan?" he asked wondering what they were up against this time around.

  13. A pen swiftly etched away on a sheet of paper, the hand that held the pen shaking an unstable. Unlike that of a true Artisan's hand. "GAH!" Letting out the frustrated yell the boy slammed his fists against the work table, knocking over various items and causing his vile of ink to spill across the page. The black seeping through the white page, corrupting it of it's purity. Dropping the pen a hand rushed to his chest, grasping at the white dress shirt his fingers pressed against it. pushing at the skin beneath. Almost as if a pain arced through his torso he let out a pained breath. Why did he feel like this?, lost. Something had been taken from him, he didn't know what though. Slamming his free hand onto the table again the clutter of various items cascaded from the top shelf, one in particular catching the pained player's attention as a soothing tune began playing.

Letting out a sigh he relaxed and reached for the item, a Ebony pocket watch with an ivory chain. A token of appreciation he had made for a dear friend...but she didn't meet him at their arranged location. "I got to stop letting my feelings get the best of me..." he muttered as he gently attached the item to his belt and let it slide into the pocket of his black dress pants. 'Maybe I should send her a message.' he mused internally. After cleaning up the mess that he had made of his work table he shut off the light and locked the door to the workshop. Leaving him behind the front desk of the main part of his shop, Swiping open his menu the monochrome boy startled as a message appeared at the same time. "Hmm?, Cal?." Reading the PM he gulped nervously and glanced to the Armor set resting on a mannequin he had made not too long ago. As if sensing it's master's gaze the armor began exerting it's sinister aura, the cold sweeping through the shop like a wave of evil. It was beckoning for him to wear it once more, though he had put up his sword along with the armor set. He couldn't risk another... no...he was changed now. He could control his impulses.

Slowly and cautiously walking over to the chest piece he placed his hand on the cool metal, he wouldn't let himself become what it symbolized. Not again...

Appearing on the sand rampaged fifth floor Takneil stepped away from the teleporter, not realizing he no longer felt like puking when exiting the gateway. His Eternal Melody merely a simple chest piece as of the moment he carried his shield and sword, having yet to properly equip them. His clothing remaining the same and unchanged from back in the shop he looked for his ultra marine mentor.

Spotting him not so far away the monochrome boy approached, his long black and white hair blowing in the wind. "It's been a long time Cal." Takneil spoke aloud, his orange gaze meeting his mentor's.

  14. Turning towards the lioness he couldn't help but stare, a bit shocked at the question. "Do...do you not feel the cold from my armor, shield, or sword?." he asked. He had always had issues with people because they couldn't stand the temperature drop that the equipment gave when he merely entered a room. "The cold feature doesn't really affect me because I'm inside of it..." he stated. "and Oikawa, you usually never invite me to these things so of course I use you as only a blacksmith. but it's nice to know all that Col bought me a friend." he teased casually as they advanced towards the next group of enemies.

"Oh Ariel?, then be my guest." he stated taking a step back allowing the lady to have another shot at an AoE.

ID:59576. I got a 1. [too lazy to put everything else and mathy thingies]

  15. Letting out a sigh Takneil ran a hand through his exposed monochrome hair, his mood not matching the sinister expression his armor gave. He felt little of worth, someone he hadn't even met took control of HIS meet up and now was calling the shots. "Come on Ebony, let's go. It's clear that they can handle this without us..." he mumbled a bit depressed that all of his planning had gone down the drain because one person felt they needed to take this from him. "I don't know, maybe we can find a nice diner to eat at if it's not too late." he offered in an attempt to brighten his mood for the girl he had come to grown attached to.

[Takneil leaves the thread, as I would advise everyone here who values their character. I apologize for putting you in harms way as I did not expect someone lacking OOC morals to be among this group.]

  16. "Hello!?" Walking into the familiar shop the Monochrome boy ran a hand through his long black and white hair, his orange eye searching for the blacksmith he had visited long ago. "I'm not sure if you remember me, but it's Takneil." approaching the counter he swiped open his menu and placed a good amount of materials into the gift box and tapped the blue confirmation circle. "I haven't heard from you in a while so I thought maybe you would need some help with your shop." He admitted with a nervous chuckle.

    -30 Materials [Donated to Teion]

  17. @Zandra the only enhancements and Artisan have that they can solely make are Skill Rank, and Combat Craft. Useful things that are low in demand. I'm not trying to make this a debate but a simple suggestion, so please don't take this as me attacking other professions. That is not what I am doing, I am only wanting my profession to be a bit more desirable.

  18. @Shirien, Last I checked Death isn't a post action XD. The only thing the enhancement would be capable of doing is small things, such as rerolling for a material, attacking a mob. (I doubt staff would allow the enhancement to be used in PvP) and last I checked all items with charges could only be used once per thread so this would follow those very rules. The enhancement isn't time travel either, while I do see why you would think that it really doesn't work that way. This only applies to YOUR failed post actions and would only allow a redo of THAT post action.

    Player 1 Attacks~Failure.
Activates Determination (unable to activate again in that thread.).
    Player 1 Attacks~ Failure/Success.

It doesn't automatically make something a success, you still have the same chances of failure as before.

And Alchemists?, Really?. They are one of the most sought for professions in SAO RP right now because they can craft potions and crystals. Ranging from healing immediately in one post, to stunning a player, to boosting damage to an insane amount, and the teleporting? I know there are anti crystal rooms and stuff but we have yet to come across one. It seems to me Alchemists are one of the most OP professions out there. Artisans basically have nothing, most of the things Artisans have can be obtained from other professions. And the things they do have are so not needed or sought out for that they have to basically beg someone to purchase an item from them.

@Ariel. It wouldn't make SP tracking harder, it just makes it so PSTs actually have to read a thread like they are suppossed to. (I'm not pointing fingers but I've had it happen to me many times and had to double check my own stuff to make sure I wasn't given a free cheat.) And they would have to link rolls Ari, just like before. Plus like I said, the enhancement would follow charge rules. Only allowed one use per thread. And as stated before, it keeps the random and allows the same success to failure chance.

    It's fine if this doesn't become an enhancement but the main point of this was to hopefully allow staff to see that Artisan's need more enhancements of their own, I mean like 75% of what artisans have can be crafted by others ;~;

  19. Agreed, but it is up to the artisan to price this item. As a thought I had when creating I thought make it a unique enhancement for artisans that can only be applied with a certain roll (similar to how merchants work) but that would ultimately be an idea staff should decide. Personally as an Artisan myself I would price it at a high cost as it is a very useful enhancement, but this doesn't stop others from just throwing it out for free sadly :/

  20. I do see your concern though it isn't reducing the total amount of SP you have, it's basically investing into an item rather than a skill. And this enhancement is more targeted to high levels who have skill points they can't use while allowing lower levels to do so if they wish.

as for how to use it, Determination is simply allowing you to have another chance at something you did. Such as Attacking, searching for a material/sub dungeon. You would not be able to reroll loot rewards from MOBs seeing how if you kill them it is a successful roll. This Enhancement would also really help out player's with finding a familiar.

As for the cost, if staff tell me (if they ever get here) to change the charging mechanic then I will. The reason why I say that is because this isn't suppossed to be an item you use at any chance you have to use it, it's honestly a great enhancement but it has to have a downfall.

  21. Name: Determination.
    Cost: 3 Slots.
    Cap: 1.
Effect: Reverses a Failed Post Action and allows the Player a redo. Consumes 1 Charge upon use, Holds 3 Charges. [Consumes 1 Skill Points for 1 Recharge. Cannot be used in Crafting.]
    Applicable to: Trinkets, Lucky Charms.

I originally did have this under Evaluations because Support Tickets don't seem to be a great way to submit simple things like this anymore, so if you like this concept Vote it up so Staff see it XD.  Other than that I really don't have anything else to say.

    Tier: 1.

Description: A item crafted to resemble a single piece of col. Equipping it allows the user to generate more col on monster kills. On the back of the coin a partially opened pocket watch is etched into the metal, surrounded by the words 'Monochrome Dreams'.

  23. Having had created an item out of every Material he had used Takneil whistled a catchy tune as he descended the spiral staircase, the second floor he had taken as sort of being a home?. As he did not have enough Col or even on the required floor placement to own a house, it was saddening though. Floor eight had become a comfortable abode to laze about in his white dress shirt and black slacks, there were hardly any enemies in the placement he had chosen for his shop. Granted he had grinded hundreds of enemies before hand to make that possible...

Entering his workshop in the back of the first floor the boy sat down and began to work hard at finalizing the custom designs he had been meaning to attempt to create, ironically enough. He was determined to get his shop filled with items.

  24. Keeping a watchful eye as the battle ensued Takneil only stood his ground, making sure to keep his urge to battle tempered. If he made one mistake it could cause a chain reaction, though at this point it seemed they were beyond error. Someone had taken his normal role as Tank, his healing was too weak at the moment to be of any help, so his only choice was to attack. It saddened him that this boss had followed Hate rules, while it was fortunate and ended the fight rather swiftly. (at least for the big wolf) It was kind of a bore to him. His mentor had told him about many enemies that surpassed those kind of restrictions, making their attacks random and dangerous.

"Hmm?" Noticing the boss's defeat Takneil swiftly drew his sword from the ground. "Come on!, let's try to end them quickly so they don't do to much damage!" he yelled to his small squad of player's. Launching forward the Eternal Knight wasted no time in attacking the enemies, pivoting his foot he smirked as the shining white light from his sword confirmed his success in the action. Careful not to hit the Tank, The boy swiftly sliced through four of the wolves. "Come on guys!, only a few more remain." he called in an attempt to boost morale.

  25. "Phew..." a hand slowly moving through transparent menus the monochrome boy unequipped his armor as he approached the large building that was his shop, he had been out for a few days. Grinding enemies, aiding low levels in quests, even hosted a twelve to fourteen person raid for sub-dungeons. An orange eye gazed upon the tranquil shop, a familiar ally. Napping on the cool, stone steps. Pulling out a bone from a skeletal foe he had faced on one of the higher floors he gently set it in front of the sleeping wolf. "Good boy..."

Picking up the order box as he shut the door Takneil made his way to his workshop, it had always felt nice. Researching the lore of Sword Art Online in the many literary pieces it provided, most have seemed like derivations from their own world but he was not one to complain. As it made his own works that much more unique. Sitting down at the desk he opened the order jar causing a small menu to appear in front of him, to his despair there had been no requests. But someone had donated...Seventy materials!?. Sitting there in his cozy backroom the boy was shocked into a statue, who had done such a thing and why?.

Giving a glance to his tools the first sign of recovery revealed itself as a small twitch, lifting the corner of his mouth into a smirk. Filled with determination Takneil grabbed his sketchbook and immediately went to work.
