  1. Having to quicken his pace as the avian's soared through the air Vain made sure to keep within sight of both parties, it had been quite a long time since he had been out on his own. Sure the wolf had certain points in time when the shop was his to play around, but his master usually kept him nearby. Slowing to a stop he tilted his head as the bird spoke. If she wanted to introduce herself why couldn't she have just done so within sight of their owners?. Listening to her the albino wolf laid down, folding paw over paw and yawned. "Vain, the only two here I am unfamiliar with are you and the other bird. Though I've caught his scent before." Glancing to the blue falcon he nodded respectfully. "Pleasure to finally put the smell to the animal." he slightly joked. Turning back to the one who had introduced herself as Zita the wolf lifted his hind leg to scratch behind his ear. "so what's with bringing us way out here?"

  2. Frowning Takneil crossed his arms and sighed, "That hardly seems fair, unless they deliberately did something to make the fight more difficult it should be no one's fault".  Shaking his head he looked at the girl in front of him. "My intentions weren't that I wanted people to die, but it isn't your responsibility to be there to lick their wounds every time. So unless you give yourself some time take a breather you're just gonna end up like the others." he stated.

  3. "ah...I usually just take on a Bandit stronghold I found not too far from here, it seems it some sort of spawning trap for lower levels, but I barely can manage the waves myself so I tend to get my fair share of materials and leave." he stated. Pointing to the cave he had exited from he shrugged. "there is also a gemstone cavern near the end of that cave, you'll come out to a deep crevice but you can either climb down it or jump down" he suggested. "though I would eye how far you are from the ground, my first time I had to stab the wall to stop from becoming a splatter...or shards..." Spotting the albino wolf charging towards him the boy smirked as he side stepped causing the familiar to shoot past him. "I could mark the locations on your map if you want. oh and that's Vain." he simply introduced his familiar at last second.

  4. Giving a half wave to the approaching girl Takneil flashed her a smile, "So you showed up?, to be honest I didn't know if you would have gotten my PM in time or not". he stated. "plus, normally girls don't show up when I ask them to hang out. Some sort of curse." he joked a bit to lighten the dreary mood the entire floor gave off. Pushing off of the bar he unhooked <<Eternal Harmony>> from his back, a faint film of steam radiating around the the near frozen like equipment. "What?, You already forgetting you have a walking air conditioner with you?, one of the perks of the Eternal set is that on floors like this one and five I'm always comfortable with the temperature." he stated as he tugged against the player's coat. "Also doesn't help you brought a coat to a volcano" he teased.

Walking towards the exit of the establishment he shrugged. "It may be training for you two but this is the first time I've done this quest so I need this extra amount of skill points, especially if i want to catch up to Calrex while he's sipping martini's on a beach somewhere." he formed a smirk as he spoke the words.

I don't like the way the respec works. If theres going to be a respect it should be a full respect, or at the very least give back the SP from all ranks of a skill. Especially if the boss is going to be so strong. This boss is like floor boss level strong. The reward at this point in time isn't worth the risk.

Looking at it from a Staff member's point of view the potion would then be OP, granted I do agree with you. The Reward VS Risk factor is one sided. The potion's effect was never meant to be a solid ability, I left it open for staff to alter. It's better to set it at a minimum reward than a optimistic reward so it can only get better rather than worse. What I hope for is a full respec of a skill, especially since the potion cannot be obtained any other way after the first time other than marriage.

    The Peak

    Floor 14.

    wyt9noQ8Sf-7TPJHSEpQ8X0A1_dRBXr8_WL5rhua

Whilst traversing the harsh lands of the fourteenth floor you happen upon a mysterious player, they look worn and tired. After starting a fire to warm yourselves against the cold temperature of the night they tell you what had happened, supposedly upon finding a trail marker they had been asked if they would like to take part in a quest. The main objective was to scale to the top of the mountain, where there would be a rare item for the taking. Yet when the player got close to the top a sudden explosion caused them to be thrown down the side of the mountain, barely surviving the fall. As you prepare to find this marker the player urgently grabs you and warns that there was something up there.

    Requirements…

-Players must spend 21 or more posts climbing the mountain itself.

-If a Player does not have the <<Survival>> Skill then they must roll the craft die each of their turns. On Rolls 6 or below the player will lose their footing and fall a few feet down the mountain, dealing 20 Damage that cannot be mitigated and requiring that they spend +1 extra post action climbing the mountain.

-If a Player does have the <<Survival>> Skill then they must roll the craft die each of their turns. On Rolls 3 or below the player will lose their footing and fall a few feet down the mountain, but will manage to save themselves from any serious injury. Though they must spend +1 extra post action climbing the mountain.

[Combat Craft may not be used to influence the outcome of these rolls.]

-Players must defeat <<Rock Elementals>> and <<Earthen King>> before they are able to reach the top of the mountain. These enemies spawn once all players have scaled to the clearing made by the explosion, <<Earthen King>> will spawn once it’s subordinates have been defeated.

    Enemies…

    X2 (Per Player)<<Rock Elemental>>.

A MOB that is made out of the mountain itself, they will relentlessly attack a player with its hammer like fists until it has been defeated Regardless of Hate.

    HP:155. DMIT:40.

DMG: 48. For each other <<Rock Elemental>> Add +2 DMG.

Immune to Hate. <<Rock Elemental>> will attempt to attack the last player to successfully hit it no matter what.

    <<Earthen King>>

Upon Defeating the <<Rock Elementals>> Players will find themselves being shaken and losing balance as a large portion of their current portion of the mountain moves around. Letting out a resounding roar Players must fight a Giant Rock monster while standing on it, It is impossible to strike it from it’s base and players are challenged by having to find crevices, tunnels, and soft spots upon the enemy's body to attack.

    HP: 1250[+200 per Participant]. DMIT:100.

    DMG:140.

While facing <<Earthen King>> Players must Roll the Loot Die in order to find a soft spot, on rolls 10+ they will discover a soft spot and will have two turns to attack it before it closes. While Players are attacking the <<Earthen King>> if it manages to strike a player while it’s soft spots are vulnerable it will end up dealing Damage to itself as well All Damage dealt to the <<Earthen King’s>> soft spot ignore Mitigation.

    Rewards…

    -4 Sp.

-500*LD. (To be split evenly among participants).

    - <<Potion of Unwanting>> [Cannot be sold, bought, traded, gifted, etc...] Consumable that allows a player to remove all the invested ranks in a specific skill, restoring all the used Skill Points in that skill. 7. Standing behind the front counter the monochrome artisan stood patiently, awaiting a customer. Hell...at this point he would be willing to take a lost NPC, and he didn't even think that would be possible!. Feeling a twitch in his right eye he let out a sigh as he removed himself from attending the non existent players, there much not had been as much as a need for Artisans as he had hoped. Finding his comfortable work chair he took a seat, he might as well get a bit more inventory if possible.

  8. Running a hand through his monochrome hair the boy let out a sigh, the grass here was tall. The mushy ground seemed to cause his feet to make weird noises as he traversed through it, it was the main reason why he hadn't spent much time in the prairie. Causing him to essentially skip a quest, but today he would fix that mistake. Spotting the figure...a small figure of a boy Takneil tilted his head and frowned. Could this be the one who sent out the notification?.

"Hey there!" he called out hoping not to alarm the player. Closing in on him the monochrome boy halted in his steps and raised a questioning brow. "wait...have I seen you before?" he asked truly wondering if he had met the small one before.

Just like it's cousin, The Eternal Sonata. Eternal Overture hums a similar tune, only when in combat it casts a dreary silence. Until blade and blade meet...

"Hey Oikawa?, you here?" Stepping into the shop Takneil waited for a response or some form of movement revealing that the blacksmith was indeed present. He was looking to expand his equipment, he always seemed to have a few more slots open for his hot key bar. So why not fill it up with useful equipment?. Approaching the counter as he spotted the smith he repeated the one thing he had grown accustomed to, ordering. "If it wouldn't be too much of a hassle" he said to the man as he completed it, depositing the required three thousand Col. "I think I'll hang around until it's completed if you don't mind, nothing much do right now." he chuckled.

    -3000 Col.

  11. Letting out a sigh the monochrome haired boy pulled out his chair and plopped down, He seemed to have been getting increasingly better but it wasn't enough. "I need to learn more..." he muttered to himself. Interlocking his fingers as he placed his elbows on the desk, he could only craft minor trinkets and such at this point. It annoyed him. Nearly glaring holes into his designing paper he slowly picked up his pen, what would he be able to create today?.

The day before he had managed to create a couple decent items, hopefully today would result in the same. Grabbing one of his favorite pens he pulled out a piece of paper and began sketching a design.

  13. Following the directions given to him by Oikawa Takneil made his way through the fourteenth floor, doing his best to avoid any pointless squabbles that would compromise his Hit point and energy levels. Soon the monochrome haired boy was approaching the three figures, the blacksmith and a duo he hadn't seen in a long time. Swiping open his menu he rechecked all of his equipment and potions, he would need to be careful about this fight. One slip up it could cost him his life, Something he had grown rather fond of. Feeling his heart race he looked to the others, "any form of strat or we just going in smacking everything in sight?"

  15. Having his last attempt to make an item become nothing but a pitiful failure Takneil sat down at his worktable, it had upset him greatly that he was unable to even make a bad quality item. All he ended up doing was end up wasting precious materials. Staring at the many tools that lay in front of him he began working up designs for a new item, hopefully this time he would be able to make one...

The outfit is lion themed as if she is cheering for 'Team Lions'.

Entering the becoming increasingly familiar shop Takneil Browsed the available items, he needed something for his new shop. He wasn't able to craft as often as he'd like to and he had heard that tailors could make an item that could increase that. "Hmm?" his eye catching sight of a plushie doll the boy raised an arched brow, Ariel had made another one?. Slightly blushing at the rather revealing nature of the doll he picked it off of the shelf and left a few materials on the counter in place of it, he'd rather not be known as a pervert.

  17. Glad that the woman had remembered him Takneil gave a wave back, though while he had not been forgotten he himself had left a certain white wolf napping inside of the cave. Quickened footsteps padded against the rocky terrain as Vain exited the gemstone cavern, his snout to the ground. Having the player's scent permanently etched into his senses it didn't take long to spot his master not so far away. "So what are you doing way out here?" he asked, the outskirts of floor two had mostly become his domain. Most of the front liners stayed above floor ten so he didn't have to deal with turf fighting when it came to material gathering and he even had protected a couple of low levels from mobs at one point.

  18. Clad in his chilling black armor, <<Eternal Melody>> The monochrome haired boy exited his usual farming ground. A gemstone cavern that he had discovered when he tumbled down a chasm, he had found most of his materials in that cave. Along with a few rather beefy Golems, thankfully nothing he couldn't handle. Ugh it had been a long day.

"Hmm?" spotting a familiar woman out in the open Takneil formed an unseen smile through the helm of his armor, someone he had been meaning to talk to for a while now but never seemed to find her. "Manta!" He called out while he approached the white haired female, his armor fading away in black wisps as to not bombard the player with a sudden temperature drop. With only the chest plate left the boy was more revealed, showing his care free expression and his long monochrome hair.

  19. Opening the doors to his new shop Takneil couldn't help but smile, it was his first day on the job and he was determined to start getting some inventory for his soon to be customers. walking through the main hall the boy made his way around the counter and sat at his worktable. Now what could he make?. While his master was getting to work Vain trotted throughout the various rooms, sniffing out each one. Eventually finding his way back to the center he laid down beside the counter.

  20. Welcome to
    Monochrome Dreams

Laying deep within Floor eight Monochrome Dreams is home to it's own little clearing filled with plant and wildlife alike. when approaching one could feel absolute tranquility from the surrounding area, as if they were walking inside of a painting itself. Diverse flora spread about the clearing in a beautiful swirl of colors, only split for a natural stone walkway leading to a large building. The shop is very rustic and old though one could see it's owner takes well care of it, as it's a work of art to him as well, one would have to find Takneil in the shop upon entering. Each room is unique to the last yet slowly blend together before reaching the other, Shelves sit filled with sketchbooks organized by what lays inside of them, walls hold paintings side by side depicting a wide variety of scenes from animals grazing in a field to the heat of battle when facing a boss. Along the windows facing inwards are cases with beautiful jewels and small charms, tables set throughout the building display small figurines of mobs, players, NPCs, and items. Upon reaching the heart of the shop a small counter is set up on the lower floor displaying all of the available items for sale and order, to gain the attention of the boy a classic antique bell sits on the counter beside a series of rather cute plushie dolls that represents a familiar large busted woman with scarlet hair in various outfits and poses. All with The Lion's Den logo.

  22. Standing from his seat Takneil walked out of the room and took a look at the painting. "That's amazing, the fact you did that to honor her memory like that is so kind." he stated as he gave one last examination of it before turning and performed a deep bow of his own. "I'm sorry to say I have to leave, I have a friend to meet in about an hour or so and i owe him a few Materials so i'd like to have time to collect those for him" grasping the knob of the door he smiled. "Thank you for helping me, I'll come back down every once in a while. Maybe we could do a painting of our own?" he chuckled as he departed from the building.

  23. Taking back the photo Reginald offered a appreciative smile. "Thank you, she was a kind soul...but she knew how to take care of herself." he chuckled remembering back to the old world he so longed to return to. Understanding the boy's question he sat up. "Well, I remembered it." he stated simply. "I wouldn't be surprised if every fiber in that canvas was a mirror image of the original."

  24. Holding the paper in his hand the boy nodded as he examined the small drawing, the girl in the picture was pretty. Long flowing blonde hair, and a compassionate smile. Handing back the paper Takneil smiled. "She was beautiful, I can only imagine what she was like." he complimented the sadly deceased woman. "wait?, how did you two paint that painting together then?".

  25. "She died of an illness, on the outside that is. We had known each other since we were around your age, she had been drawn to my passion for art." placing a hand in his jackets pocket he pulled out a small piece of paper. Gazing into it for a moment he passed it to the player. "I was a young reckless fool and she was the one who kept me in line" letting out another sigh he leaned back into the chair. "It seems now I've become manageable on my own."
