  1. "hmm?" Looking to the blonde Takneil offered an unseen smirk and shrugged. "Hey I don't mind!, Hell. I think I'd make a great cheerleader!" he stated to lighten the mood, performing a series of actions the boy willingly humiliated himself and defiled the sinister appearance of his armor. First extending out his arms in a straight horizontal line he clasped his legs together. "Give me a T!" he yelled, slamming his arms against his sides he split his legs only to pause halfway, forming a frown he laughed nervously. "How would one form an A?, i got the T and the K but for the love of me i can't figure out the A..."

Defeated in his cheer leading escapades the monochrome boy shot an orange glare towards the approaching enemies, unsheathing his blade as they approached. preparing to step into battle he stopped and actually took a step back. His energy wasn't fully filled yet, gritting his teeth he stabbed his sword into the ground and waited. "Oikawa, Ariel!. My energy has yet to recharge from my attack, I need a few more moments!" he called out to his party hoping they wouldn't be mad at him for stepping out for the moment.

    -Takneil does not enter combat-

    -Energy fully recharged-

  2. Surrounded by a pool of scattered books and various scrolls the monochrome haired boy bit his lip as he struggled to gain some sort of muse for his next design, what would he do?. Of course he could do simple things!, but that would never bring customers...no, he needed something would scream out the ever expanding boundaries of his muse. He needed... "A Mark!" Takneil yelled out from his lowly rumblings. Slamming a book shut his hands shot forward, pushing stacks of books aside carelessly. An Orange eye bright with determination, oh where was it?.

How long had it been? minutes?, hours?, days?...no,no. Not quite that long but a long time indeed, but time was a relative concept, something that could be easily manipulated with a few simple words. yet be an absolute solid. Through his hushed words the boy mumbled away, his long hair swaying from side to side as he energetically turned to each parchment, book, and scroll. Lost to his own muses the sound of a door closing startled the Artisan.

"Ah!" Moving remarkably fast despite had been in a kneeled position he reached out for a weapon, as if already drawn. In a swirl of black and white wisps a pure black sword seemingly materialized in the boy's hand. turning to face the perpetrator Takneil shot a glare at him as he spoke his words, wait... item?. Placing a thoughtful thumb on his chin the artisan's eye widened in panic, dear lord this was a customer!.

Swiftly throwing the sword to the side he forcefully changed his expression, flashing the man a nervous smile Takneil bowed in response and happily took the slip of paper from his hand. "Well... let's see what I can do for you!" he exclaimed wishing to move past the previous incident.

Examining the order's specifics the monochrome artisan cocked an amused brow, combining subtle vanity features while at the same time incorporating viable abilities to the item. Abilities that actually complimented it. Motioning for the man to take a seat at one of the various tables Takneil stepped behind his counter, completely oblivious to the rather lewd appearance of the plushie dolls that sat there gave off, purely for work purposes. "you know...Gaster, I'm really impressed. You must have put a lot of thought into this item." he complimented the player before turning and moving into his workshop. "Also you may leave your payment on the counter, Vain will make sure no one swipes it!" he yelled out above the sound of various items cluttering to the ground. At the mention of his name the albino wolf opened his eyes, setting his crimson gaze upon the new customer. Letting out a yawn he crawled out from beside the counter lazily taking a seat in front of it, casually licking his paw.

Sighing the monochrome boy exited the workshop and walked into the main area wiping his hands of paints and clay. "Sorry about the waiting time, but try it on!. let me know how it feels, if it seems too loose or tight I can easily fix that...actually I probably should have taken your measurements first before going off of memory...all well!" shrugging he took the Col and Materials off of the counter and replaced it with the mask, it was truly a master piece...well technically a lucky charm but meh.

"Hmm?" One customer after the next it seemed or at least one beggar after a customer, tilting his head Takneil offered a sheepish attempt of a smile. "well sir, if you couldn't tell by the correlation between myself and my shop I am the shop owner" he stated as politely as he could. "well?, tell me what you want. I can't very well make you your item if you don't give me the details and also Damage Mitigation is something I sadly cannot do in fact no Artisan can do".

  4. Offering a smile to Ariel's words the monochrome boy his head in a nod. "I know, After all me and him have similar issues..." he left off, his orange eye gazing into the desolate black dirt. He had never experienced Calrex in his 'Cold persona' as he had called it, but the boy's own problems had come out during a material run on floor two. He had managed to hide it as thinking out loud but he didn't think his mentor had bought it. "He has his own demons to deal with right now, as do I. It might be for the best we haven't done any training together since then." he stated with a sigh.

"So the three of us has yet to do a sub dungeon?, well what are we waiting for?" he stated bringing an unseen smile to his face as he stood. "i'm not sure of how much help I'll be but I'll do my best" he offered Drawing his weapon.

  5. Grinding his teeth Takneil felt an unimaginable amount of anger fuming from himself, that was it. Yes he had lied in order to try and get some amount of emotion from the lady that wasn't snide and selfish, but in the end it turned around and slapped him right back. Grasping the hilt of his sword he could feel the other's presence, it was lingering. Whether it was waiting to stop him, or aid him was unknown. Battling with his own morals everything seemed to fade away as he felt something push against his arm, something...soft?. "what in the world do you think you're Ack!" Immediately pushing himself off of the crimson haired woman Takneil's face lit bright red, burning with shame, lifting an accusing finger the boy pulled out his shield and hid behind it. "DEVIL WOMAN!, DEVIL WOMAN!" he hissed the words swiftly picking up his pace wanting to get the quest over with.

With the trio coming to the town the monochrome haired boy kept his shield up between himself and the harlot woman, spotting the blacksmith he gestured to the small player. "Kroshma will give you the deets on what he wants and then you can tell him where we can go slay some emotionally challenged dark elves." He spoiled the quest not wanting another second of worrying if he would be molested or worse from a level two.

  6. Letting out a sigh the monochrome boy sat between the two players, his armor slowly degrading back so only the chest plate was left. he had honestly expected a much longer battle, for him to take some damage. hell even a full on chance to die. Looking to the two before him he couldn't help but smile, it seemed he was in good hands. "Well recently Calrex has been bit of a no show on my end so I've had to basically get to this point on my own." He stated in response to Ariel, one could see the sullen look in his eye as he glanced towards the ground, a brief flicker of sadness. But soon returned his normal smile. "level nine to level nineteen on my own, so I guess it isn't all bad. I mean I managed to make my own shop and have started helping out lower levels myself."

Letting his eye wonder to the opening Oikawa was referring to the boy frowned. "I truly wouldn't know, I've found many things on my own journeys but a sub dungeon isn't one of them." truth be told this would be Takneil's first dungeon of any kind, even when he ended up finding one with the ultramarine knight the clad blue dude wasn't feeling like it was for them just yet.

  7. Placing his hand over his nose after the woman had begun walking away Takneil growled. "Oh?, and where did your brains go?. Your breasts?" his face seemingly rising to a new shade of red he muttered unheard curses as he followed, there was two things he hated in the real world. People who assumed he was brawn over mind, and liars. So far players of Sao gave him the respect he deserved, this woman on the other hand was pressing his buttons. Glancing to the weapon Crimsa held to her side the boy bit his lip, was it really a Demonic?. he would just have to wait and see...

Falling in line with Kroshma The monochrome haired boy glanced down, the mispronunciation of his name almost made him smile. Almost. If it wasn't for the generously busted woman's comments before he may have even laughed. but now he needed to assert himself as the strongest in mind and power. "Do I look Irish to you?" looking to the crimson haired lady he frowned, "And I'll have you know Takneil was the name of my dog." He lied trying to get a bit of sentiment from the player.

  8. Accepting the invite Takneil flashed the boy a friendly smile, "To be honest I should have done this quest a long time ago, a party of me would be enough to complete if I remember it correctly." Realizing what he said sounded a little arrogant he cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his head. "My bad, that sounded egotistical. I was just trying to state that it should be pretty easy in a cool way...I don't really spend that much time with people." he chuckled. Looking to the names he nodded. "Alright, Kroshma, Crimsa. let's do our best!".

  9. Gazing through the helm of his armor the boy eyed the <<Lich King's>> Hit Points, it all seemed to transpire in mere moments. Oikawa had been the first to attack the quest boss with a sword art he had never seen before, many swift blows stripped away the skeletal being's hp gauge. While not dead Takneil could easily assume it's death, especially with the lion stalking her prey. His offer to flank it was not needed. Grasping the hilt of his new weapon he began walking towards the two remaining mobs, maybe one day he could break a boss in a matter of seconds...of course he would have to live to see to it that it happens.

Kicking off of the dirt Takneil Concentrated on his opponents, they were still in mid process of trying to heal their already fallen king. if he screwed this up he would only embarrass himself. No!, he couldn't let that happen. They weren't allowed to survive a strike from him, unsheathing the black blade he pushed against the ground leaping into the air. Initiating the required motions for his sword art, Twirling <<Eternal Overture>> the monochrome boy smirked as it began to glow pure white. Now he at least wouldn't look like a fool.

Cascading down upon his opponents the player slammed his sword into the ground, releasing a powerful shockwave. The attack shuddering through his targets he chuckled as they shattered into pieces. Seemed he wasted a safeguard. Turning towards his allies he sheathed his blade. "Oikawa, could you define 'let's' for me?" he joked confidently.

  10. Stepping into the shop Takneil seemed to be a bit frantic, not expression wise but one could easily spot it in his fast movements. He didn't have time to order anything from the blacksmith today, nor did he have time to talk. The boy was already late on his deliveries and needed to move as fast as possible to make sure everyone received their requested items. "Hey Oikawa, I'm running around right now dropping off items for the boss raid. I didn't get a request from you so I thought I'd stop in and see if you'd like some safeguard potions!?." Swiping open his menu the monochrome haired player placed the potions on the counter and turned around, half jogging towards the door. "whatever you don't use you can either keep or give back!"

  11. I thought I would throw my bit in here since it seems to be what all the cool kids are doing these days.

Now I have read through all of these and one thing I've been noticing is that we are focusing on errors in rules, staff, balancing and mechanics. While all concerns and complaints are warranted to some degree most of what is being said should be kept away from this topic. The question was... "What are your thoughts about the current team". This would entail subjects such as staff and the mistakes they have made, but everything else mentioned should really be made in a different place as it strays from what Shark is asking.

My personal thoughts on the current staff team?

    They are Human.

The title Staff does not make a member of the community a god and as far my memory serves it has never meant such on SAO-RP, now I have only been here off and on for little over a year. so that leaves plenty of time for when I wasn't around, but for the time that I was. Staff was always generous and kind to me when I had extremely noobish/repetitive questions. Sure, it took them a while to get back to me. But don't say they ignore you, remember that staff not only have to help you. they have to help the entire site while dealing with Real Life and In Character issues as well. From what I recall many people tend to assume members of staff have all the time in the world, I'll be the first to tell you that is completely untrue. Tristan and Zero, these two names of Staff you keep throwing out as if they are the sole problem. Excluding a select few... Tristan and Zero are the kindest members of site I know, when I completely forgot to log my energy in one of my quests. Tristan swiftly gave me a response on how to manage it and Zero guided me so i wouldn't have to restart from scratch. No rule bending, no special treatment. They helped me, as staff apparently are too lazy to do?.

As for chat. I only recently joined the sao skype chat, of course I left it but that was due to community issues. not staff. (Yeah that's right, you guys aren't little angels either. :P ) When I was among chat there were many, many. Times where there were people who spoke very crudely and un PG-13 like, though most of the time that was kept in call. While it didn't happen from time to time in chat People who weren't staff rushed to shush them and barrage them with 'Language!' or of the like before staff could even notice it's there.

To get to the point because I've already dug my self a perfectly snug hole to die in for defending the current staff, what I'm saying is They are Human. Not beings who were made to completely dedicate their entire life to SAO-RP, Tristan has a job, Zero has college and a perfectly Broken laptop so he has a phone. Now I would love to defend other staff but it seems right now the current complaints are focused at these two, again among the kindest people I know who do their best when they have little time to do anything.

So now you all realize there is a member on the other side of the fence, please put me in my coffin so I may prove this final point. The community of SAO RP is ruthless, while it once upon of time was a friendly and warm environment to be in it has only become what we as the community has made of it. A place where players bully staff into altering rules because it doesn't suit them and when staff attempt to change this it suddenly becomes switched all around. So I beg you, send me all the hate in the world. And in return I will respond with a big smile, because I know which side the grass is greener on. The side that is fertilized with all this BS.

To answer Shark's question: No, Staff team should not be changed.

    Love Taki <3

  12. Forming a smile as the two before him took the potions so willingly the boy did a double, double check of his equipment. You could never be to sure when going against a strong opponent. He had only encountered Ariel a few times before this, granted once upon a time he was apart of the same guild as her but he had only finished his initiation a few moments before it was disbanded so he didn't really count that. Oikawa on the other hand, Takneil was a frequent customer to his forge and had spent a small fortune worth of Col for new equipment. He only knew of the smith as a smith. Yet they trusted him...

Sliding his menu over to his inventory he prepared his own Potion, following the two frontliners down the stairs he tipped it. Allowing the liquid to escape from it's glass prison. Taking a breath he nodded as he saw the damage boost affect had been applied. "I'm down for a dungeon, as long as I survive this quest." He stated. Sure, he was concerned for his well being. Though he had done this same song and dance with Calrex, he just had to trust in these two.

Gazing towards the enemies his orange eye focused on the one they were targeting. "I'll hang back and flank him if needed, I won't engage until it's clear I need to focus on the main enemy as well." He stated his plan. reaching for the hilt of his new weapon Takneil smirked confidently as the <<Eternal Melody>> wrapped around him in a shroud of black wisps, releasing a chilling wave of air.

  13. letting out a chuckle as he remembered how Eclipse used to purchase everything 'shiny' that the boy either did or didn't want, it seemed now that their live's depended on it the monochrome player was now in his friends shoes. "I don't suppose I could pay off my debt to you in here?" he nervously asked with a half cocked smile. "And don't need to thank me, I'd be a douche bag not to help out my friend. Yes I could express many days of pent up anger against you for buying me a game where I would get trapped in, but hey!." patting his noobish friend on the back he offered a kind smile. "How is this sorta luck any different than my own in real life?" he joked to lighten the conversation.

Approaching the smith's shops he halted at the entrance and looked back. "Do me a favor, don't attempt to fight anything until you're level ten or something. I'd rather not have my friend die to a simple swine."

  14. @Ariel - The Crowned Lion This Quest was meant to be subjected to the communities suggestions, while I won't lower the difficulty of this quest for a couple reasons I will gladly increase it if community or staff deem it necessary. Also to be honest I don't know why you think I would hate you?, your opinion/suggestions were great and benefited the overall quest ^^.

@Ebony Quest has been edited to clarify your question ^^.

  15. Gently nuzzling into the boy's hand Vain let out a snort of disapproval, as if scolding his master for asking such a question. Smiling he slowly began walking towards the city of floor two, he had some crafting to do with these materials. Swiping open his menu Takneil reviewed his overall stats, he needed to get stronger. yes he was powerful for a level fourteen, but if he reached level twenty five he would be able to wield stronger weapons. Something that he absolutely wanted.

  16. Annihilating the feeble opponents with a single blow against each he picked up the materials they dropped, adding them to his inventory he smiled as a familiar white wolf brushed his side. informing it's master of it's presence. reaching out his hand Takneil pat Vain's head, scratching behind his ear. "At least you wouldn't abandon me, right bud?.

  17. Quickly slashing through his foes Takneil sheathed his sword and let out a sigh. "Well that was boring..." turning to face his comrade he raised an arched brow as the player was no where in sight, lame. Adding the dropped materials to his inventory he turned around, whistling for his true ally to come to him. Spotting out in the distance four small, weak mobs the monochrome haired boy shrugged and activated his weaker sword art.

  19. Shrugging the boy continued walking and sheathed his blade. "To be honest he's had more customers than I've had, I work as an Artisan." He spoke with a hint of annoyance in his voice, realizing that Eclipse may not know what an Artisan does in Sword art Online he cleared his throat. "I work on small trinkets to large sculptures for guild halls, though sadly I've yet to have business." he chuckled nervously as he ran a hand through his monochrome hair. Noticing large smoke stacks in the distance Takneil nodded to himself, pointing to the towering billows of smoke he spoke. "well, we would first get you some armor. I'll pay for it, but that smoke is my friend Oikawa's shop, he's a blacksmith I've frequented. I'll need you to tell me what you want for enhancements though before we get there"

Hearing the bell of the shop Takneil turned to see a face he had not seen in ages, his mentor. Opening his mouth to say something he hesitated as all he received was a simple smile, feeling a small stab of pain in his gut he couldn't help but turn away. He knew that he had been gone a while, but so much so that he didn't feel words were needed?. Watching as the blue knight exited the shop the monochrome haired boy sighed, "well I guess it could have been worse considering..." he mumbled as he added the items to his inventory. He couldn't be too harsh for Calrex not giving him more attention, granted they were friends but they were also mentor and protege. This was a time where Takneil had to stand on his own before they could be friends once more. "Thanks Oikawa, I'll stop in with some materials for ya at some point. After all I'm going to need Tier two equipment soon." with that the player departed from the shop with his new weapon, he needed to let off some steam.

  21. Shaking his head Takneil sighed. "Sorry, could of sworn I saw you some where. it must be my lack of sleep..." eyeing the insanely gorgeous woman in front of him he couldn't help but chuckle at her reaction to the small player, it was often you saw person with abnormal height in Sword Art Online so he could partially understand her actions. Deciding it best to step between the two he offered a smile. "well before we get too far how about introductions?!" clearing his throat he offered a smile. "I'm Takneil, and yes...I am here for the notification."

  22. "Hmm?" looking away from the various displayed equipment he gazed at the blacksmith. "Out of Materials?" approaching the counter Takneil swiftly swiped open his menu and navigated through the many screens until he was on the page with his items, selecting the few chosen he smirked as an assortment of gemstones and ores dropped onto the counter. "I was planning on saving these for my own craft but i can wait" he offered a kind smile, he didn't mind the extra payment. "And don't worry about it, I'm an Artisan myself and know how easy it is to run out of Materials. In my case it's not as much of rusty as it is if the they work" he chuckled.

  23. opening his inventory the armored boy swiftly downed one of the potions he had picked up from Zandra's pharmacy not too long ago, he had originally planned to save them for his own quests. but he had plenty to spare. Finishing off the weird liquid he let the glass bottle drop, causing it to shatter against the ground. "You guys are going to have to hit that thing as hard as you can, at the moment I am sadly Mitigation focused more than I am Damaging and from what I heard this enemy could even one hit me if I'm not careful." scrolling down through his items he spawned two more potions in his hand and extended them out to the duo. "I also have a couple damage potions if you guys need them, I may be a low level but i often have enough Col to prepare myself!" he joked in an attempt to lighten the mood. "I am Cal's Protege yes, but I am still far from dealing even half of the damage he can. Actually last I checked I'm still at four or five base damage in general. Though thanks to Oikawa I can sneak in an extra chunk or so depending on how good my day is going." he chuckled.
