How would everyone feel about a thread, in the FAN ROLE PLAYS section, consisting of a Real World Party hosted for the players that survived SAO?

I'm just curious about what others think of the sword arts system, in relation to my own thoughts.
I just feel like many of the weapon options are dumbed down versions of other weapons. Take the Rapier and Dagger for example. Just looking at the rapier, its larger, with better range, and due to it's size it should have more power behind it than a tiny dagger.
Lets ignore that last point though, as this is a videogame and it might not work exactly the same as they do in real life. Dagger gets a 4x4, or the equivalent of a 16x1, whereas Rapier gets a 13x1. What's the difference? Not much really. Rapier just gets a few rank 2 stuns and the possibility of getting a 5x1 AOE if you invest 13 points into Martial arts. However, dagger gets a 6x1 stun move with martial arts. So, like I said, incredibly similar. Still, dagger ends up on top somehow with a 4x4. (Or 4 stabs/slices that hit with 4 times the normal force). It just doesnt make sense to me.

Honestly... I thought Daggers should have been used in conjunction with sneak and hide. Since Daggers are known for strikes of opportunity due to short range.
Like 13x1 normal... 16x1 with a successful sneak and hide attack. Where as with Rapiers there really isn't a bonus to sneak and hide cause you want to take a duelist approach.
I think an overall balancing is needed... For unique skills too. But it would be hard to find a good place for each.

I have made it often noted that Dom likes to watch the noobies attempt to get stronger. It's not uncommon for him to be seen on the first floor, since he's a player killer and he looks like he is a higher leveled player so he puts fear in their eyes.

Might seem a little weird to have waited until now, all things considered, but I'm officially retiring from SAO-RPG.
After three extended hiatuses, it's nice to be able to go out this time with full control over the circumstances.

You have 4 items with stats, and can only benefit from three of them. 1 of them will be considered vanity until you move around your stats to utilize it but something else becomes vanity.

No Mack. You can get the dmg/regen/mit or the Mit/Regen/Acc-Eva or Regen/ Acc-Eva/ Dmg.
Is it making sense now?

No, max of three items that you are gaining stats from.
you can technically have a helm, shoulders, chestplate, gauntlets, legguards, Greaves, Weapon, Shield, necklace, rings. But most would have to be vanity. You can gain stats from 3 of the items above.

You could technically wear 3 armor pieces. Or 3 trinket pieces. But you can only ever have 1 weapon equipped... Unless your Zel.

So it would seem the site is having some issues with double posting and not allowing people to do some things. If anyone accidentally double posts, please let a member of staff know. Better yet, since it won't let me delete things at the moment, make a list in a PM and they will be fixed upon the site returning to normal.
