  1. Lowenthal chuckled. "So, I'm that easy to read huh?" He asked, guessing that she sensed his hesitation in leaving the front lines. But right now, the front lines were of no matter. Right now, Lowenthal only cared about Shizuka. He held her hand tightly as she took it. And Lowe was glad he did as Shizuka broke off into a run. Exercise she said, laughing. Lowenthal laughed with her, quickly getting his feet beneath himself and running alongside her. His place was quite a ways away, he would eventually tire out from running but he would hope that Shizuka would run out of stamina first.

  2. Lowenthal laughed. "Sleeping man symbol, that would could work." He said, chuckling still. "And glad to be a friend, rather than tool. Makes for better conversation I think. And a Husband as well? M'Lady, you surprise me at every turn." Lowenthal said. "To think that a man could tame such a wild creature." Lowenthal teased, racking his brain to think of a place to get a drink at. Lowentha; shrugged his shoulders. "And as far as places go, I can't think of anywhere. I suppose you've got a place in mind however." He said.

  3. Lowenthal gritted his teeth as he drew his dagger. Her back was turned, he could easily just do it. End her life, blink of eye. Her time away from the front lines, from everything made her weak. Killing her would be child's play. Lowenthal scoffed at the thought in his head. Here he was, about to kill Mari for treating him like a child, and he called it child's play. Lowenthal called out to Mari.

"Mari!" Lowenthal said, almost shouting. His knuckles white, from the grip around his kunai. He hastily opened his menu, and sent Mari a duel request. If he was going to do it, he wanted to do it right. She deserved that much. The parameters were for a full loss duel. The loser would be dead, and the winner wouldn't be crowned a player killer. Not like he would anyway, seeing as Mari was already orange. Lowenthal spoke again. "The only way I let you live, is if you hand over every unique item you have. You holding on to them, is no better then all of Azure hoarding thier uniques. Give them to me, and they'll see some use where it counts." Lowenthal said, wanting the uniques that Mari had on person. If she didn't give them to him, then he would challenge her to the duel again. And if she refused that then, then the uniques were better to be lost forever.

  4. Lowenthal grimaced slightly as Shizuka called him out on his feelings. He didn't want to leave the frontlines, he wanted to get stronger and protect people. but. It got every step of the way. He wanted to keep moving forward, but every time he made a stride it seemed others were always two or three steps in front him. And frankly, it was demoralizing. Zel would always outclass him, and others would follow. Hikoru had already caught up to his damage output, and had earned Shadowed Path back from him. Lowenthal had nothing to earn by going to the front lines, nothing to offer them anymore. He was beyond useless there, but here he could something for someone. "A peaceful life kinda sounds boring." Lowenthal admitted with a chuckle. "However, I'm sure we can find something to spice it up." Lowenthal said, forgetting that the fireworks had been going off for the last few minutes.

After the fireworks had ended, Lowenthal stood up and held a hand out for Shizuka to take. "Come on, let's head to my place. It's getting pretty cold out." Lowenthal said, smiling to the pinkette he so dearly loved.

  5. Lowenthal gritted his teeth again. "So it was selfishness then! Perfectly fine with leaving me, the man you loved behind! Because you were feeling sad yourself!" Lowenthal said, spitting on the ground. "I don't care about you. Or your feelings, or your depression." Lowenthal said calmly. He took in a deep breath through his nose, letting it out through his mouth. "You should've stayed gone." Lowenthal said. "It would've been better. I would've gotten over my feelings quicker, and you would be gone." Lowenthal said, calm with his words full of hate. He stepped past Clarence, walking back to Calrex. "You're not wrong. You would be better off dead." Lowenthal said, in a whisper to Clarence, before continuing his walk. Lowenthal gave a warm smile to Calrex, as well as a wave. "Well, I'm off. Take care of yourself Cal." Lowenthal said, only stopping for a moment.

  6. Lowenthal smiled as Piera and Lee took thier leave, and began thier quick, and fun looking descent down the mountain. Lowenthal pulled out his own shield, but before he could go Jomei stopped him. Lowenthal looked at him, quite confused. He had an idea, and he didn't like it. "What do you, 'know how I felt'?" Lowenthal asked, repeating the question. Lowenthal let out a long sigh, as Jomei confessed that he had killed someone. Lowenthal rubbed the back of his neck, as he tried to console Jomei. "Look, it gets better. I mean look at me. Green as the day I logged on." Lowenthal chuckled. "But hey, It could be worse. You could've killed three more, without feeling anything." Lowenthal said, confessing his own 'legal' murders. "But hey, sledding time." Lowenthal said, tossing his shield to Jomei.

  7. Lowenthal rubbed the back of neck. "Well, helping people is always good. I try at least, but it get's harder each time." He said, sitting next to the woman, throwing his arms behind his head and leaning back. He thought long and hard about what he could do, as a person. Now that he was retiring from the front lines. Maybe focus on his shop more, or get a better house for him and Shizuka. Maybe even marry the pink haired woman. Who knew. He hoped someone did, because he had no idea himself. Lowenthal gave a sly chuckle. "Oh, a 'Lowe-Symbol'? And what pray tell, would that look like?" He asked, chuckling still.

  8. Lowenthal spun quickly, his kunai drawn as he heard steps from behind them, He placed himself in front of Piera, trying to hide her or shield her from incoming attacks. But it was two people closing in, and one of them was a party member. Jomei! And with him, he had Lee. "Well, about time you showed up." Lowenthal said to Jomei, as Lee dashed passed him, embracing Piera. Lowenthal turned, and smiled as Lee muttered and kissed Piera. Lowenthal clapped his hands together and produced another shield. "It's a bit cold for a party I think. So let's get outta here, I got a new place on the beach that's calling our names." Lowenthal said, with a humble brag. It felt nice to have the gang back together, finally all back together. "Right, lover birds first." Lowenthal said, motioning for them to get a move on.

  9. Lowenthal watched as the advance group charged in, and began to lay waste to the mobs that had spawned. He smiled at how well they worked together. Lowenthal leaned in to Opal. "Hey, they're not half bad." Lowenthal said. "Could use a bit of improvement, but you've got a pretty damn good group on your hands here." Lowenthal said, quite impressed with the players. But the good feeling was gone almost immediately, as soon as the last mob feel another rose. Lowenthal listened to the woman for a moment, and almost mistook her for human. The soft way she spoke, they way her cheeks were colored, and Lowe's weakness, pink hair. Lowenthal actually felt a tinge bit of sad, for having to slay such a thing.

But all of his hesitation went away after Opal and the woman had exchanged blows. Lowenthal dashed forward and drew his kunai. His kunai met the monster, and his sword art activated. The amount of damage he dealt already, alongside his Charge was more then the beast could handle. Lowenthal spun, his sword art 'Eternal Cyclone' activating. Lowenthal passed through the boss mob. Lowenthal slid to the other side of the monster, as it dissipated into blue crystals. "Alright, not half bad." Lowenthal said to himself, rotating his arm. He called back to Opal, and company. "Anything else? Or do you think that was it?"

    All approved.

  11. Lowenthal met with a slight panic. "Look at his health bar. Did it drop nay further?" lowenthal said, looking at Jomei's own health bar on his hud. "Jomei's is fine, it could just be a rouse of some kind." Lowenthal said, somewhat hopeful. Lowenthal thought about running back in, to try and find them. But that wasn't the plan. "We wait here. Jomei's health bar is fine, and Lee's dropped. Best situation told Lowenthal that Jomei must've hit Lee as part of the rouse. But as far as escaping prisons go, this was going pretty well. "You think they'd have more guards?" Lowenthal asked Piera, deeming that it was so quiet.

  12. Lowenthal expected it, and he smiled as he willingly took the hit from Hikoru. No evasion, no mitigation, just nothing. Hikosu's dagger hit Lowenthal, square center of his chest. And instead of pain racking through his chest, instead he felt something different. Pride. His health bar dropped, and Lowenthal was thrown backwards. He landed on his back, and he stared into the sky above. His HP in the red. Lowenthal took a deep breath, and exhaled. Then, he began laughing. He grunted, as he sat up. Then he continiued laughing. "I lost." He said, calmly. "Here you go, Master of Shadows." Lowenthal said, watching as 'Shadowed Path' disappeared from his inventory to Hikoru's. "Treat the title well, and keep the front lines safe for me." Lowenthal said, hinting at his retirement. Lowenthal stood up, and re-equipped his armor. "I'm gonna go on a holiday. In the meantime, you take my place at the front lines." Lowenthal said, pointing to Hik. Lowenthal pulled a teleport crystal from his inventory, and popped it. "Catch you later, Hikoru." Lowenthal said, his body enveloped by a blue light.

  13. Lowenthal blushed, then smiled as Shizuka accepted his offer. Shizuka then shifted her tone, into one that was much more softer than before. She expressed worries of what would happen if they continiued to go to the front lines. Lowenthal thought. He thought for a moment, before speaking. "Then we'll just avoid dying. Simple as that." Lowenthal said, confidently. "I don't ever want to lose you, nor do I want to out you through the pain and stress of fearing over me. Which is why, I'm going to retire from the front lines." Lowenthal said, taking in a deep breath. The front lines, just wasn't for him. He was always messing up, tripping over himself, and relying on people to help him in the end. It was only a matter of time before that wasn't enough. "I have a house, I have reached an adequate level, and most importantly I have you." Lowenthal said. "There's no changing my mind either. So, stop that crying thing you're doing." Lowenthal said, wiping the tears away from Shizuka's face with his hand. "Besides, front lines are boring. I mean, I'd rather spend the rest of my days with you." Lowenthal said.

  14. Lowenthal clapped as Hikoru brought the beast down."Not bad. You're pretty good." Lowenthal said, unequipping his armor, and re-equiping his starter gear. "Now then. I feel like it's time." Lowenthal opened his menu and sent Hikoru a duel request. "Hit me with your new sword art. Hit me, and you can have it back." Lowenthal said, showing that the unique skill 'Shadowed Path' was up as ante. He wasn't going to tell Hikoru that he was retiring just yet. "That is, if you can manage to hit me regardless. Now, don't hold back!" Lowenthal said, dropping into a combat state.

  15. Lowenthal crossed his arms and leaned against a nearby tree. Nothing that Hokru's healh bar dropped slight.y "Apparently he didn't miss you. Just lemme know when you want me to tag in." Lowenthal joked, keeping an eye on how Hikoru was fighting. He was using Cross-edge, Lowes second favorite move. It was the strongest move, after Eternal Cyclone. Lowenthal smiled, and cheered Hikoru on. "Come on, kill this thing already." Lowenthal said, cupping his hands to make his voice echo.

  16. Lowenthal nodded. "Got'cha. I'll provide, moral support. And if it get's hairy, ill hop in and save ya." Lowenthal said, with a chuckle. Lowenthal recognized the area they were in. Wasn't this the Hoya quest area? Lowenthal had come here a long time ago, with  man he had hope to forget. But it seemed that he would pester his mind once more. "Sheesh, this place is gloomy. Makes sense for an embodiment of evil to reside here though." Lowenthal said, rubbing the back of his neck.

  17. Rata. Ita to prevent what a problem was before qe had tiered weapons and armor. Which was level 5 players walking around with the strongest weapons in the game.

And as for you immense anount of sarcasam, please take it elsewherr as its unwanted here. People here are trying to have a civil conversation.

  18. Lowenthal smiled back, and gave Hikoru the high five he was requesting. "Her name's Shizuka. And like me, she's part of the Knights of Blood Oath." Lowenthal said, showing off his team colours. "I'm telling you, she's perfect. Hopefully this one doesn't up and disappear like the other ones." Lowenthal said laughing. "Man, I can't believe that I thought I had some sort of secret yandere crush, who was going around making the people I had a crush on disappear forever." Lowenthal said, laughing at the absurdity of it. "But in all seriousness, she's great. Maybe we could get a double date going? Catch a ride or just mill it out over a dinner. Ya' know?" Lowenthal suggested.

  19. "How have I been?" Lowenthal asked, repeating the question. He thought for a moment. "Well, kind of indifferent really. I mean, I have shadowed path, but not the experience to make it worthwhile. I bought a house, but have no one to really share it with. I own the shop of my dreams, which has little to no business. It's a lot of a good thing with it's baggage. But, other than that. Couldn't be happier." Lowenthal said, quite content with his very mediocre life. "So, before getting engaged what'd you do?" Lowenthal asked. He could guess that Hikoru was busy with wedding planning and general questing to get money for it since the proposal. "Oh yeah. I did girlfriend." Lowenthal said, scratching his chin.

  20. (OoC: Lowe will just give you support then. No need for me to ohk it xD )

Lowenthal nodded. "Please do. lead on." Lowenthal said, pulling up the information. It's stats were, surprisingly weak. Probably a boss mob that Hikoru had almost completely forgotten about until recently. Lowenthal shrugged his shoulders. "Well, here's hoping he drops something worthwhile." He said, hoping that Hikoru would get something decent from it. Looking at it's stats, Lowenthal could easily kill it in a single blow, if not half of one. He would let Hikoru keep his pride, and let him kill it by himself. He would only be there, in case of an emergency,
