  1. My opinion on this is a current "No".

Now before you jump the gun here and be like "Excuse me, but you can't just say a one word answer here!" Well first off, I can, but luckily for you I won't I will go in depth on why I chose a no for this idea in general. You see, there's one problem and it isn't the idea itself. The problem itself is the people. The entire idea would have been done long ago if we didn't have to worry about people cheating their weapons. I know that there are some of you who are actually honest with everything, and that's great! Seriously, keep it up. But, it's because of those people that the system would be broke.

Due to the fact that we are on a text-based RP Forum, we have no system that can force logging successful hits and reducing it from the item automatically, which makes it awful hard to make sure people really are doing what they should be. I mean, it's already rough enough that we as the staff team have to approve journals, items, rolls for crafting, rolls for GM events, etc. If we add a task to the list and it really is a MICROMANAGING job. We'd literally have to read EVERY SINGLE POST to EVERY RP only to find that the player may have missed 90% of the time. Then along with that we have to check if the people logged their rolls, since with this system it would make it mandatory for us to prove that it really should have been deducted from the item's durability.

So there you go, it's not so much that I don't want this to happen, but more so because it simply can't happen. If you can find a fool-proof method of doing this, then please hit us up as the staff team, because we'd like to know this then. We'll gladly implement it into the system, but keep in mind of how much labor it would take on staff. We can't be on here all hours every day, we have lives off of the site as well.

  2. Daeron shook his head, as he didn't care for any sort of apology. He wanted to be himself, he didn't want to be what everyone thought of him. He wanted to be the real him. "Mari, I hated that me. It was nothing like me. The real me, enjoys murder. The real me, takes what he wants. The real me.... isn't weak and soft." he said, giving her a firm look. His hand had moved down to her upper bicep, his eyes still looking at her lips. He wanted to kiss her again, but didn't want to overdo it, so he simply left it be. "Mari, I need you. I want you to break me. Help me with returning to my old self." he asked of her, in a demanding form of voice, so that he didn't sound desperate although he was.

Ever since he'd changed himself to be "good" nothing good had actually come from it. He could talk to people far better when he was a killer, because they wouldn't stand up against him due to his intimidation factor. Now people think he's too layed back for him to be harmful. He wanted to change that, and truth be told, he didn't care who's blood he needed to spill in order to regain his title as the most hostile player or at least most intimidating.

  3. He sighed, and he put away his weapon. He walked forward, and reached out to Mari, pulling her in for a kiss. He'd simply have to play his cards right. He had already long forgotten about the two he just recently. His hands both came up to cup her cheeks. "Why should I care about the Azure Brigade? If they come after me. let them." he said with his forehead still to hers. His hands shifted down to her neck, where he tightened his grip. He was smiling as if it was the best thing ever to do this, which to Daeron it was. "I want to kill everyone." he said, still holding her neck.

Nearby players had ran directly into town where they could see Daeron going mad. "I hate being the one people look up to recently. Why do they like me so much?" he asked, not expecting an answer. He thought that if word spread of him being different, then maybe he wouldn't be such a role model anymore.

(Short Post as I just woke up.)

  4. Daeron heard a familiar voice and he turned to look at Mari. He began to walk towards her, his weapon still drawn. "Last I checked nobody told you to be quiet when you killed. So scurry off why don't you?" He said making a motion with his hands asking her to go away.

He wanted to make Mari suffer. He'd simply need to be smart about his actions to truly show her his dark side. His eyes were hollow, but still filled with anger and hunger for blood. "Why are you still here?" He asked her, slightly growing irritated.

  5. Daeron had dropped himself off the grid for a few days as he needed time to think. He thought of the night he had with Mari. She had wanted him to change so badly. But why? Then the same when she under another potion'so influence, she had enjoyed seeing him fight back. He had seen a lot of people show little trust him any more.

He sighed, as he kicked up some of the red dust. A group of nearby players were there, walking out of the town. Kill them! a voice told him in his head. He had heard it before, and he'd thought he had gotten rid of it. He sighed. "I've missed you old friend." He said addressing the voice only he could hear.

There were two players a male and a female, both rather low leveled. He could easily take them. They didn't have any tanking ability it seemed because their armor was weak. He grinned as he danced around them, slashing away st their feeble bodies.

He felt a desire for more. As one was on the ground, begging for mercy, Daeron shook his head and impaled him in the skull, depleting his health bsr, shattering him into pixels. When the girl tried to make a break for it, he easily caught up to her.

"Now now, where'she the hurry?" he asked, pulling her onto his weapon, causing her to drop to her knees. It was sad that they were so essy, but it was fun for him. He grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the red sand. Lauhing, he kicked her stomach and then pointed his blade right onto her stomach again, where he slowly added more pressure onto his weapon until it finally impaled the girl, removing her health too.

"I... I want more blood." He said, metaphorically, as the gore filter was off as of this moment. He needed to slay ore people, something that has actually made him happy in a long time.

  6. Daeron stood silently, listening to everyone call him out. His thoughts were racing. Had he his weapon, he'd no clue what would happen. After yet another scolding, Daeron walked over to Mari, still without saying a word. His mind wanted something but his body was taking it upon himself to act on his thoughts. He grabbed his weapon, and held it in his right hand. He walked over to Ariel and he simply shook his head in frustration. The anger was building up, and it was building quickly.

"I've missed this feeling." He said, choosing not to invest too much time talking.

He wanted to kill. Like he did before. He could tell he would enjoy it greatly, simply because of how he felt thinking about it. "Ariel. Oh, you pathetic fool, Ariel. There is one reason why I was so dangerous compared to Mari..." He said placing his weapon to her stomach pushing gently, just for her to feel it. "I killed for fun." He said, whispering into her ear.

Daeron began to rise, laughing. "Kosan... you made your death a reality now. Since you can't enter towns, there aren't any safe zones for you. I will KILL YOU!" he laughed as the paralyze had finally worn off. Daeron held his weapon in his hand, ignoring the little damage Kiru was doing to him In Daeron's eyes, there was a murderous intent, this time, showing the real Daeron, that made him so fearsome.

He charged at Kosan, swinging his weapon with a brutish force. The last time he'd killed, he did it for fun. He had no clue if this would be the same sort of pleasure that it once was. Either way, Daeron's orange, fiery eyes were full of rage. His heavy armor seemed light as the adrenaline was now kicking in.

  8. Daeron watched as Mari had curled into a ball, he felt awful for her. There was simply nothing he could do as the potion had taken it's toll on her physically and mentally. He then realized, that continously trying to stop her might be making it worse. He relaxed himself, and he knelt down beside her, and he put his hand on her shoulder. "Mari, just... try to-" Daeron's words were cut short.

    THUD!

The sound of Daeron's armor smashed the dirt paven path and he had no way of getting up. He couldn't move. He saw Mari still curled up, practically wanting to cry. He saw everyone around him now bigger than him, which was the other way around than usual as he was typically looking down on others. He couldn't turn his head, however, when he looked through is peripheral vision, he saw Kosan standing before him.

Daeron would have mocked him in some way if only he could move, the only thing he could do was lie there, and be dealt with. That's when he realized that this would be his opportunity. Daeron may not be able to move, but the second he gets that ability back, Kosan was a dead man. He lie there, with the status disability on him, but he could see it's effect already coming off. Also, he was hoping his battle healing would recover that little bit of health gone from the attack, which was pathetic and weak.

  9. The significant difference between the Battle Healing skill and the Meditation skill is simple.

For the battle healing skill, it is passive and doesn't require any sort of activation, but it only has a partial percentage of working (on a natural crafting dice roll of 10 or higher.) As for the meditation skill, you have to take a post to activate it, but it will always heal you and make those debuffs easier to deal with. If you get both, and your battle healing is functioning with the dice that day, then you could recover a lot of health rather quickly, so long as you don't get attacked and make the ability pointless.

  10. He didn't feel regret. He felt awful, as he would never forgive himself. Mari was telling him to continue on, but suddenly Kiru came and tried stopping him. He didn't WANT to hurt her, nobody at that, but it was a desperation attempt to stop her. As Kiru had screamed, he put away his weapon. He had snapped. His mind had been torn and now, he didn't want to think anymore .

The only sign that showed he was still somewhat human on the inside was the singular tear that ran down his cheek. "Mari.. kill me, leave them alone. Take me out. It's a free kill... especially a high leveled one. Just... don't hurt them." He said to her, stepping before Xanatos.

  11. Daeron felt his weapon being pulled out of him. He had thought Oske did it, but when he looked, it was Mari. His wound stung as she had first driven the weapon deeper, twisting it. When she walked off with his weapon, he simply began trembling. Moments later, he erupted with laughter. Though the red scar was there right now, he laughed in a dark manner.

He looked towards ground snickering. "I knew you'd do that. The only reason why I did that was because I knew you were coming. You see, you never come to me unless something happened. You claim you don't like me, but yet you spare me. Why Mari? Why now?" Something in Daeron's mind had been triggered and it was affecting him. He couldn't see why he should be normal after what he'd just gone through against her.

  12. Daeron hadn't realized his death glare until it was brought up. As it was true he was jealous, he refused to remove the glare because as soon as he was called out on his jealousy Mari did it again, getting all close with Locke. Perturbed he rolled his eyes and then sighed. Mari in her almost childish state right now grabbed both of their hands, one in each hand.

Locke knocked on Daeron's armor, which once again bothered him. He didn't say a word as he felt his silence was saying more right now. Daeron simply stood there not saying anything, allowing Mari to hold his hand and Locke's.

  13. If you have any legitimate ideas as for holiday events, and don't even mention Nicholas the Renegade, that isn't happening. Then please post it in the Support and Feedback section. If the votes turn out alright it will go into discussion with the staff team where we will debate if it should be a valid event or not.

  14. Daeron heard yelling at him, but he chose to ignore it. Instead he chose to remain silent. He watched as his health bar depleted further only to see it now hit the yellow zone already. He looked up at Oaks, and mouthed apologetic words to her. Another tear rolled down his cheek, not bothering to wipe it away.

Daeron was tired of being used. Had she just asked him rather than manipulating him perhaps things may be different. He was hurt emotionally. He opened his menu and sent a message to Mari.

"I'm sorry. By the time you read this, there is a good chance I will be dead. I just wanted to let you know that I truly do love you. I don't care if you believe me or not. You might think I'm being over dramatic right now. I just wanted to say goodbye." Stated the message. In seconds he sent it off.

  15. Daeron watched as she turned again only to attack the player. She began to mock the young player and it was too far. Daeron held his weapon and brought it down towards Mari. His weapon felt heavy as he wanted to scream with anger but again held that determined look on his face. He watched as the player jumped from the Bush to take her dagger and run. That's when he thought it was too late.

His weapon had too much momentum from his swing this time to stop it right before connecting. Hid mind racing he hadn't a clue if he could go through with this. He was afraid she'd hats him but on the other hand he wad doing the right thing after all. His eyes had no expression though on the outside.

Inside his head he heard a voice telling him to slaughter Mari and how she will never love him back.

  16. Daeron entered as he had been contacted to pick up his gear. Entering the shop his eyes lit up like a child on Christmas. He took the armor and equipped it on the spot. His new gear looked "fly" and he was happy. In the message to pick it up the Smith had told him not to worry about additional payment as he had apparently overpayed him. He then gave a nod of approval and left the vicinity of the building.

  17. Daeron let out a sigh because she was right. How could he just end himself after he just went against someone he truly cared for. Instead, Daeron too his weapon into his hand again. However, rather than putting it into his inventory, Daeron let out a grunt and part of his health was now gone. He gave Oske a look and then looked down at his stomach.

Both of his hands were holding the handle of his weapon and blade was now impaled through his stomach. Red data flowed from it and he then twisted his weapon further into himself draining slightly more health. At this point he didn't care who called him a coward. Nobody understood how he felt right now. Nobody was manipulated so easily but him, how could live with that.

Another tear streamed down the side of his face as his orange eyes were no longer fierce like usual. No. Instead, they were filled with dread and remorse due to the days' actions. Today had taken a toll on him physically and mentally.

  18. (10 Points to someone who understands my reference I added in this post :D)

Just as suspected, people surrounded him in mere seconds. Why couldn't he just get a break. He stood up after Oske put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him, but really it was discomforting. He stood looking at the tree and once again punched it with a heavy force, this time causing bark to split apart and shatter. His motives to do good right now were drained, and if truth be told right now, he didn't care what anyone said. The Mari everyone saw today wasn't the real her. Simply that potion took over her actions and it even if, things would be different if he hadn't been the leading cause of Alkor's death.

"It's all my fault." he said quietly enough for people to hear him, but so others don't hear it much. "I care for her so f**king much, and all she does is twist my emotions to her benefit. If it were for me to say, she was using me like a tool. Things wouldn't be like this if I had just saved Alkor. She would be happy, and then nobody would have died recently." he let another tear run down his face, but quickly wiped away the trail of moisture it left behind on his cheek.

"If I could go back in time, I'd save him and let myself die. This way I knew I wouldn't be used like this. Perhaps it's because I'm a hopeless romantic." he said again to himself, knowing others can listen to what he's saying. He let out a sad sigh only to punch the tree again, but not with a brutish force this time. This time he wiped away any tears that were even beginning to form and instead he turned around. He looked at Oske, and he wasn't sure how she'd feel about this. "Oske, I want you to kill me. I'm tired of living like this." he said to her, handing her his weapon. He then also handed her something else... a ring. "Also, give this to her. Tell her it's from me." he said.

"I hate feeling like this. I'm tired of trying to fight this. And the more I hide I realize, I'm slowly losing her." he said aloud. A single tear ran down his cheek once more, but this time, he looked at her with a depressed expression. He unequipped his armor and sent it into his inventory. The blonde figure now without the golden clad armor that he was so well known for was standing there requesting a death sentence. "Please do this for me, Oske. Do it for me as a friend." he begged her with all his emotion. He began to think of moments he had in Aincrad with people. The joy some others brought him, the memories he shared with certain others. Perhaps it was time to end this. This is the only way Daeron could escape this.
