  1. [This takes place after Mari's Rampage, and Daeron will have sprinted off after the ending of the thread, which will happen in the other thread. Anyone is free to join, just keep in mind of the leading events that led up to this. Also, be careful as Daeron may not be okay emotionally, but still, he will NOT attack anyone unless in defense.]

Daeron ran. His emotions were going everywhere right now, and he hadn't a clue as to what to do anymore. He ran without knowing where he was going. He saw trees pass him at quick speeds, but he didn't know what he was aiming for. Daeron had been broken, as he had just witnessed Mari moments ago, go on a rampage. He loved her, but she refused to see that he truly meant it. She stabbed him because of her desire to kill, and still he was there for her.

He finally came to a stop after having run a journey through the woods, with no target in sight. His fist connected with a tree, where there was now a thick indent in the tree's bark. He didn't feel the impact because of his heavy armor. He was angry, upset, and fearful right now. He broke down on the ground. A tear having rolled down the side of his face, trailing behind a moist surface on his skin.

His orange eyes, if someone saw right now, looked almost weak and showed no sense of confidence in them. How could he dare to show himself around, if he could barely protect people because he cared about not hurting someone too much. Because he let his heart take over his mind, he couldn't do much to stop her and it nearly cost another life of an innocent player whom was trapped in this world with them.

Then for that son of a b**ch, Kosan, always coming to make the bad- worse. His breathing was heavy from the run and now he was trying to control his rage inside. Daeron swore an oath that he'd never hurt another person again and that he'd never go back to his murderous life. If he did, he would never forgive himself. However, since the past hour or so, Daeron has felt nothing but the urge to harm someone, something. So he punched the tree yet again, deepening the dent in the bark, only to leave a larger dent and his armor slightly stained brown from the bark scraping against the gold-plated metal.

His blonde hair was up, but he didn't bother fixing the little bit that was in front of his eyes. He was kneeled over, and his head was between his lap now, and he was simply sitting there, he didn't know how to feel and he didn't really care truth be told. He just wanted to be alone, but knowing everyone, that wouldn't happen, just like always.

  2. Daeron felt her graze his neck with her nose and then her lips against his. This was what Daeron figured was the potion talking as she didn't seem to care for him right now. This was the point where he lout a grunt. The dagger entered his chest and he froze, even his heavy armor didn't reject the weapon. He looked down to see a red gash in his chest now, and his health partially taken. Once she escaped, Daeron was on his hands and knees, shaking with rage. His mind was corrupting and if anybody knew better, they knew what happened when he got mad. Daeron then stopped shaking for a brief moment.

Everything around him fell into silence, he didn't hear any screaming- nothing. Everything around him had faded to black simply because his eyelids covered his orange eyes. It wasn't until seconds later, he stood up. His weapon drawn, and a determined look on her face. This wasn't the Mari he knew, and if she didn't change, then he couldn't just let her run. He swore he'd never kill another person again, but even now, those words were irrelevant to his emotions.

Daeron turned around and saw Mari charging towards one of the other players, someone who could easily die. Instead of charging behind her, he simply stood there and said, "Stop." He didn't say it loud, or even with anger or fear. It was a monotonic voice that echoed through the scene. Something everyone could hear, but nothing anybody would hear too loudly. He could feel his sanity gripping from him as she had done nothing but screw him over mentality. Instead, she had done nothing but mess with his emotions, called him out on what he's done to others, bring up his past mistakes. He's had it, and if nothing changed, then he would assure to everyone, that something did.

He began to step slowly behind her, and instead, he kept up with her by simply walking. Once he caught up to her entirely, he grabbed her shoulder and spun her around. He had a simple expression of vengeance, and he didn't look like he normally did. If it was a time to show how easily Daeron could snap, then now would be the time. Once she was fully turned around, that's when Daeron smiled. "I still love you, I just want you to know that." he said as he thrust his weapon forward at her stomach. He knew what he was doing would go against his morals at this point and might contradict his emotions, but no longer did he care. Mari was hurting others, and if he had to kill someone to bring back peace and order, then clearly he must do the right thing.

Before the weapon impaled her however, he froze. Realizing that he was becoming this "monster" that she was calling him as well. Instead, he sheathed his weapon and simply stood there looking at her. Had he delayed his freeze by a second, the weapon would have entered her. "I refuse to hurt you. I couldn't. But you need to stop, Mari." he said as he gave her sad eyes almost. "Please." he said softly, almost begging her with all that he could, without sounding extremely desperate. "Can't you see who all is here to try to NOT hurt you, but you ignore them, saying how everyone calls you a 'monster'? Ariel, Oske, Me, Locke... all of us refuse to harm you, but yet you still do the opposite thing. So just please stop." he said simply, his weapon now being gone from his hand, but he knew that if she didn't listen, he'd have to do the right thing and that would mean going against his emotions.

    ID: 13320

Battle: 1 [Of course I failed with the worst number]

Crafting: 11 [+3 HP Healed from Battle Healing]

    Mari: 80/81

    Daeron: 79/80

  3. (Sorry for short post, short on time.)

Daeron allowed her stand, but shortly after, she tumbled over to Locke, whom she was now nuzzling up to. He grew slightly irriated with jealousy, but he would refuse to show everyone else that. Instead, he helped her back up, and he gave Locke a look of discomfort. She stated how she missed it and that's what was really irritating him. Regardless, she asked what the tense atmosphere was about, and it was about time someone explained it to her. Daeron cleared his throat and then looked Mari into her blue, beautiful eyes.

"Well, let's just say Kosan's being a nuisance again. Talking about how he loves this and all that. I'm challenged him to a fight because of his ignorance to listen to my warnings, and of course he wimpered away from another duel simply because his ego prevents it. He claims it was smart to deny, but really it makes him pathetic since he seems to call everyone out, but when someone dares to step up against him, he tries so hard to be cool in denying it or running from his own battles." he said, pretty much filling in everything else that he didn't mention on his first statement.

  4. Daeron kept her subdued enough that she couldn't move. The one time he was glad he got heavy armor, otherwise she might have pushed him off a little to easy. It was then, that she calmed. She claimed that it was nothing but a wake up call simply because she hated everyone always misjudging her. Could this be the potion talking, or was it really her. He couldn't tell, and until he was sure, he refused to get up off of her. That's when Daeron had the idea that could determine what was happening.

"Alright, if you say so, then tell me... How do you feel about me?" he asked her. Her answer would deter if she was being truthful or if it was simply the concoction talking once again. It seemed strange to go from completely insane to calm in a mere second. Something was wrong, and he didn't want to lead everyone to their death. He couldn't hurt Mari, not matter how hard he tried. Everything that happened, it was because of people's misjudgment of her, if he did that now, then it could lead to another situation.

"Why Mari? I promised you that I wouldn't leave you, and here I am, still beside you even in your worst of moments. My feeling haven't changed for you. Though you may not care. I do, and until I die, I will always be with you." he said, trying to lead her into the question further on, as he was interested in hearing what she had to say about him.

Meanwhile, everyone was dealing with Kosan, whom was being fought on multiple fronts now. Daeron gave a quick look over to Kiru, whom had just stabbed Kosan and a tear was rolling down her face. "Kiru, can you really trust him? Can't you tell he isn't himself anymore. A bastard like that can't be left living." he said, trying to talk her into doing the right thing, which in this case really was. He'd gone over the edge, and if nobody stopped him, then he'd make sure he did after Mari had calmed.

  5. (Was a 8 paragraph text, but then closed page on accident...)

Daeron was shifted off balance when he was hit by a heavy blow. He saw Mari already on the move at another target after drinking her potion. Looking at who rammed him, he saw it was Kiru. "Idiot! Look what you've done!" he yelled as he already stood back up.

The next seconds went fast. Mari tried to hit Ariel. Kosan appeared only to cause more trouble. Drawing his weapon he realized this would be a real brawl. He realized as he ran forth however, he couldn't dare to fight Mari. Instead, he put away his weapon. He charged forward now, seeing Oske add onto the fight.

Everything was going to hell, and if it didn't change soon... there would be a population decline. He ignored how some of his blonde hair was in his face. His eyes were orange with anger as this wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for society treating her differently. He pictured possible ends for this fight, and most showed someone dead. As seconds passed, he increased his sprint speed. His body came quickly to hit Mari aside. Quickly he planted his body over hers and his hands on her wrists.

"Deal with Kosan! I'll try to hold her!" he shouted as he could tell she was wanted to get free, probably due to her potions' effect. He wanted to end this, but he just couldn't do it. His eyes looking into hers, he saw nothing but pure hostility. "Mari, stop! Can't you see what you're doing? This isn't you! It's who others say you are!" he yelled at her, feeling awful about what he was doing to her.

  6. Mari began to rest on his chest, as if she were comfortable. That was when two more people had arrived. One that didn't seem to trust either of them, even though Daeron was sort of restraining Mari right now from killing anyone else, but he ignored that small detail. She was far too happy to see others drawing her weapon and at this rate, Mari might be too much for him to handle, but he refused to leave her side, he'd be there for her regardless of what she did or is about to do. She stopped resting on him when she heard another voice. This one he had heard before too, but he didn't know who it was as it was only once that he heard the voice.

"I don't care. I told you how I felt, and nothing will change that." he said as he kept her in place. If she wanted to kill anyone else, she'd have to get through him first. It was bad enough there was one less player in SAO today.

That's when Mari said the name. Celesmeh, a name that he'd heard around the block, but not too much. She seemed prepared for Mari to attack her, but Daeron wouldn't allow her to hurt her either. He then turned his attention back to the Mari, and he felt bad about keeping her restrained, but he refused to falter his stance as it could result in her leaving and attacking another victim. "I want to help you." he said to her, as he looked at her again.

  7. It was an ordinary day until he heard screams from not to far ago. He had his weapon drawn in seconds and he sprinted as quickly as he could over to the noise. He saw several people there by the time he arrived. His blonde hair had gotten in his eyes for a few seconds, but he waved it out of his face quickly enough to see Mari, had just killed another player. He saw Oske standing there trying to calm her, but without a single trace of luck, Mari had simply drawn her dagger and was swaying from side to side with murderous intent and a maniacal grin on her face.

He knew what she was planning, and if he didn't step in, then another player might die. He ran before Mari and he moved her against a tree. "Mari! Snap out of it, damnit! This isn't you and YOU know that!" he said as he looked into her eyes. He didn't care if she attacked him, he didn't care if he died trying to help her. "Don't you see what you're doing? People are calling you murderer because that's the side you're showing them. Prove them wrong!" he said, with his hands on her shoulders.

  8. Hello everybody!

I'm asking all of you what you think were some of the biggest moments you can recall that have happened on this forum. These things can be anything so long as they seem noteworthy of mentioning. As the starter of this thread, I'll say a few of my own.

    - Dirgun's Death : Yes, we should ALL know what this day was as it was a time to celebrate... well, except for the Yudai family.

    - Miaki and Nikki's Return : Though short lived it seems, it was a huge deal.

    - Alkor's Death : One of the first deaths in boss fight history, and hopefully it'll be one of the last. However, Daeron does deserve to be blamed.

  9. Daeron had ignored Kosan, as he was concerned for Mari. She had acted like she liked him more than usual because of that potion. Her arms were around his neck and until the potion would wear off, he will refuse anything to harm her. Daeron chuckled when she asked if he was still trying to win her over. And even though he was, he wouldn't admit it.

She mentioned how she made the calming honey and the same with one of Locke's tricks. She also mentioned how he was a good kisser, which sent a shiver down his spine because of jealousy. Kosan had began to ramble on about how he once loved her and how he messed up, but Daeron truly didn't care. Instead, he remained quiet and continued to hold her while she went on about something else.

  10. (I didn't quite pick on your context clues as you wrote it so I didn't know she was starting to freeze to death.)

Daeron was stopped by Kiru, who willingly stepped before Daeron to stop the confrontation. Letting out a snort, he turned his head in arrogance and ignorance. He hated the thought of people protecting him, however, what did it matter in the future. Perhaps one day he can get back at him no matter the situation. All the people in the guild, Zelrius, Keith, Shanok, Clarence, Miaki... they were all behind Kosan simply because of a title. He didn't agree with that. "You know Kosan, they probably just let you in the guild because they pitied you." he said dropping his argument as it was pointless.

Daeron put his weapon away and he realized he hadn't heard a word from Mari. Turning his head to her, he saw her practically unconscious, and if she were alive right now, she made no motion to prove it. Instead, he realized it must be the weather, however, it could have been that stupid potion that she was tricked into drinking. Moving over beside her, he left several more footprints in the snow, but not many as she wasn't far from him. His shoulder slightly moist from the snowball that had been tossed at him earlier, was beginning to dry, but still, it was there.

He knelt down and placed one arm behind her shoulders and the other arm under her knee socket, where he was now able to lift her from the ground. He may not have anything romantic with Mari, but still. He couldn't sit there and let another friend die. Seeing that some of her health was now gone, he was concerned for her. He stood up now, with Mari in his arms, and giving a worried look at Mari. "What the hell did she drink." he said with hidden anger in his tone. As the silence lasted a few more moments he began to get more frustrated. "What did she drink!?" he said louder, and this time unable to hide his anger. If someone had done anything to hurt Mari, then he'd be sure to kill them on the spot. It was one thing to hurt Daeron, but it was another to hurt one of his friends.

  11. Daeron put the smile from his face for a moment to consider how to answer this player. Then thinking he should be on friendly terms with other players, he put the smile right back on his face. "Well, yes. I am a player killer, and it wasn't self defense. However, that was a long time ago, I've given up on slaying other players." he explained with his blonde hair slightly spiked up. It was odd, seeing how some players hadn't even done a lick of training for the entire time they were in this game so far.

"So a level one huh?" he asked, with a curious expression in his voice.

Daeron stuck out his hand for a hand shake to show a sign of respect regardless of that player's level. He needed to show he was a leader of people, and with the Azure Brigade pretty much not going to accept him, he felt he might want to see about recruiting some weaker players to train them to become strong themselves. The more people the guild had, the more potential there would be.

"Worry not, I can help you with training if you're concerned about your level." Daeron said, trying to sound friendly to the best of his ability. It had been a long time since he had offered private training sessions to other players, especially a level one. He knew how this kid felt, he felt weak, like Daeron had when all of his friends had been stronger than him, now, today, Daeron has surpassed nearly every single one of them with hard work and dedication in training on a daily basis.

  12. Correct, temporary buffs may not be stacked if they are considered the same type of enhancement being given. This will assure that players can still fail with certain restrictions, which is why the Evasion and Accuracy/Precision system maximum got lowered so the buffs make up for the third one missing. We are trying to balance out the system even further, so until further notice, you may NOT stack buffs of the same type if they are temporary.

  13. The first floor was the place where it all had began. Though Daeron had no way of entering the Town of Beginnings after his first murder, he didn't miss that place one bit. Although the feeling of a bed has long left his memory as he hadn't slept in one for months now. However, the wilderness wasn't such a bad place. After all, the wilderness became rather gentle for him when he worked alone for such a long period of time. He let out a sigh in between his breathes as nothing he did was interesting to him anymore. Instead, he sat on the outskirts of towns recently, meeting new players, but none that sparked his interest lately. Life had moved very slowly here in Aincrad as they hadn't done much progressing in this world since they were only able to go to the tenth floor. Who knew how bad it'd be later on.

However, not much later, a player had exited the town. One that he had never seen before. "Hello." Daeron said with his blonde hair and a gentle hand reaching out to shake the other players. "The name's Daeron, front liner. Level 36." he finished with a smile on his face, trying to somewhat show off his level and his superiority to a lower leveled player, which for the most part was almost everyone in this game.

  14. Daeron felt the impact of the girl suddenly hugging him. Unsure of what to do, he hugged her in return, but then moved his arms quickly away from her. Releasing himself from her grasp finally, he moved his blonde hair up a bit. "I'd introduce myself, but seems this young lady did it for me." he said as he smiled, not having his weapon drawn, but instead he stood against the tree which he came around moments ago. This seemed strange. To meet so many people in the middle of the woods. Almost peculiar. Regardless, he kept his guard down, for now, and tried to hold a common conversation with these people, and he noticed everyone else introducing themselves shortly afterwards.

  15. (Sorry for the short post. Was trying to hurry for something)

Daeron snorted with his arrogance and held his arm around Mari, even though he made it clear they weren't together. "It gets boring at times though. I miss grinding the weak monsters that once roamed this area. Trust me. Being a low level is the fun part. After that, you live like us, scavenging for challenging monsters." he said as he gestured his hands towards the field of red dust around them. The heat was still scorching and if it was Daeron fighting alone right now, he'd have blisters all about his hands. He smiled at the player, envied him almost, as Daeron missed being capable of going into towns, sleeping in a comfy bed, and well, interacting with the common  people rather than being feared.

  17. Daeron has had it with Kosan. This was the last straw, and with Mari being helpless due to that stupid concoction she drank, she was in harms way while he was here. Daeron raised his hand to open his menu, sending out a "Total Loss" Duel request, Daeron was ready to end this player on the spot. "You keep saying how good you are. How about you put that word of yours to the test. Or are you all bark and no bite?" he asked with a smirk of his own. Daeron stood there with his new blonde hair and he wanted to end this nuisance's life now. Not only would the world be slightly more intelligent on an average scale, it would be filled with less egotistic air to take up the clean oxygen that this game provides.

Daeron drew his weapon as this could be a fight if Kosan wouldn't be a chicken now. This was a sense of pride now. If he accepted, then he defended his pride, but might lose his life, or he can deny and look like a coward as he kept firing shots at people but then he lives. Either choice for him results in a bad rep for him. Daeron had no worries. The fact that he was called a murderer hurt a little, but it was true. He didn't care if he was in Azure or not, if this meant Daeron would never be able to join, then that's fine by him.

"So what do ya say, weakling? To fight or not to fight... that... is the question." he said referencing the Shakespearean play, Hamlet, from which he read years ago.

  18. With such a low amount of health this fight was so easy now, the monster made staggering motions and it even struggled to even hit him now. Daeron was moving too quick and the monster was just too bulky to be able to dodge anything. Daeron's weapon also added on with damage rather easily, so the fight was pretty easy for the most part. "Nearly done." he reassured himself, letting him know once that item drops, he gets to complete the quest and then finally walk home with a huge smile on his face. Also, by home, he meant the wilderness.

  19. Once again, another hit had landed from Daeron, which led to another significant health drop of the Iron Guardians. Though Daeron had actually managed to be in the sixties for his health, if his battle healing would actually WORK for a change, then it wouldn't be such a big deal this time, having to have such low health. Regardless, he moved on with the battle and went for a lower strike this time and tried to cut at the monster's legs, unsure if it was possible to even cripple an enemy like that.

  20. The Iron Guardian was weak now, nearly ready to drop at any given moment. It wasn't long before this fight could finally be brought to an ending. Daeron's blonde hair seemed to be magical, or perhaps that was just him fantazing about himself once again, like he had done before. He put a smile on his face as he felt accomplished that he was able to make it through these fights rather easily. Swinging his weapon again in a downward motion, he waited to see how the enemy would react this time.

    {Statue} [iD: 12533] BD: 7

The statue had raised it's head only to find two players standing there. One hadn't come in to attack as instead it howled into the cave system, echoing into the monster's ears. This furiated the monster, as it hated loud noises. The growl of the statue turned into a roar and it charged forward at the player that had just howled, rather than attacking the player right next to it, who did some damage.

The player had been braced for the attack however. Although the blonde haired player had no heavy armor on, he seemed almost unfazed by the charged attack, instead, he recovered quickly. In the meantime however, the bleeding effect from the other player, had taken part of it's toll on the monster.

    Damage: 7 - 5 = 2

Daeron hardly even winced when the monster came to charge at him, as he had been fully prepared for that. Instead, he braced himself for the hit, which when it came, did close to no damage to him. Instead, Daeron retaliated quickly and he swung his weapon dealing some significant damage to the monster, who had literally just charged him with all efforts. "Quickly, strike it from behind, I've got the full aggro now, so you're good to go for free hits on it." Daeron said as he put a smirk on his blonde-headed face.
