I smiled at Itzal, and chuckled. "Na, naa... you're kinda right... you're like everyone else, so you get frustrated too! so you're just... You! You have a good heart, you aren't cruel, and you have such wonderful friends too~!" I twirled around, the two dragons floating around me. "I wish I could have that kind of innocence, y'know? The kind that comes with a clean conscious? I miss when I'm able to have a genuine laugh with someone... but it all changed when you became my friend~!" KRAK! I had slammed my foot into the rock, dealing a single point of damage to the massive boulder. The smile had left my face, and I turned towards Itzal with a pleading look. "Y'know...? I hope I never see you end up like that.... with bloodstained hands, and the knowledge that you hurt someone. It's never justified, no matter how you defend it." I stroked Akame, my face slightly hidden by a shadow. It made me sad to ask him to promise something like this... but it needed to be asked. "... Can you promise something to me..? Itzal? Please... don't drop to the level of a player killer. Even if it's to avenge someone... It's not worth it." Akame landed on my head, purring quietly. I sat down again, my face was still shadowed by my hair. "Please... I know it's unlikely that you'll ever do something like that, but... just in case, I'd rather be safe than sorry..."

I headbutted the rock again, dealing 1 damage again. "I regret nothing right now, at least it's being hit, nyaa~!" I stroked Velnia and Akame, a smile on my face. "Na, Naa~! you're even more cute than I remembered Velnia~! Don't worry~! I'll make sure to play with you too, nyaa~!" I started to stroke Both dragons, both of them laying in my lap. I heard a loud boom, and saw itzal knock a large hole in the center of the boulder. I shuddered, and looked back at the dragons. "... Ah... Yeah, I definitely need to try to get further ahead... Jeez Itzal, I didn't know you were THAT mad at the poor boulder.... that crack you put in it was Huge!!" I cuddled akame, who didn't really like loud noises, and I covered her furry ears. "Kyuurururuu!!"

I smacked into the rock yet again, but this time the rock took 1 damage from the force of me smacking into it. "Owowowow... At least the friggin thing took damage!" I was dizzy from my metheod of attacking the rock. "Maybe I should quit using my head... ouch... yeah... if this were real life I'd have a concussion right now..." I grimaced, and sat down on the ground... everything seemed to be spinning... Akame was sitting on top of my head, and seemed worried for my health... "Hyuururuu~!" I petted akame, and pulled her into my lap, before resting my hand in her soft feathers. "This is so silly... at least I faceplanted in front of it last time... how is it dodging your attacks?!!"

I sat down near the woman, and allowed her to paint whiskers on my face. I pulled out a mirror, and gazed at the woman's handiwork. "Na, nyaa~! I look like a kitty, Nya~!" I stood up, and twirled around before laying my weapons nearby her. "Na, Nyaa~! I'm looking forward to being able to smash that big rock to pieces... Itzal...?" I had turned around just in time to see a flash of lightning and a cloud of dust... Itzal had taken a serious tumble, and Velnia seemed to have been the cause... it kinda felt like their timing was off to some extent...

I started laughing when he said we should smash the rock to tiny pieces. "Na, naa~! That sounds like a lot of fun~! Break it! Break it! We're gonna Wreck it~!"  I smiled when he thanked me for getting the ring for him. "Na, naa~! It's not a problem, Itzal~! It was easy once I found a proper Artisan store that was open, I don't really need a thank you~! I like doing things like this because it makes people smile, so I'm very glad you like it!" I knelt down, and searched the ground for a piece of ore, but had no luck. I stood back up when he mentioned he needed experience. "Experience comes more with practice~! In that aspect, You definitely beat me~ Though I wonder how much experience you'll have with dealing with IRL situations here..." Akame had flown a circle around my head, and then over to itzal, landing on his head.

I heard the sound of very faint footsteps, and I turned around, startled by how fast he had shown up. "Na, naa... you showed up rather quickly, Itzal~! and Velnia Too~!" I smiled, and stood up, walking towards Itzal. "I was getting ready to complete Breaking the unbreakable~! I'm looking forward to breaking that rock into pieces~ Break it! Break it~!" I remembered something that he had asked for, so I pulled it out of my inventory, and handed it to Itzal. "Na, naa... I got the rings you requested~ I hope you send an invitation to me when you two decide to finally get married~!" I stepped back after, and did a small spin. I had no clue why I was feeling so cheerful all of a sudden... I guess I was just feeling sentimental... "Na, naa~! How have you been lately?" I walked over to the two dragons, both of them floating around and cuddling, and I scooped them up.

I stood up, after Domarus greeted me and held out the rings. "Thank you for making this for me as fast as you did. A good friend of mine wanted this to give to his girlfriend, but he didn't exactly have the most time to come out to a shop to order it..." I bowed politely to Domarus, and paid him the 400 col after taking the rings, a faint smile present on my face. "Na, naa.. I'll be sure to be a repeat customer here~! Na, Naa.. Your store reminds me of a art store that was near my home that I frequented~!" I bowed again, this time to Keres. "I like your maid's costume, Keres! You and Domarus match quite well together~!" I bowed one more time before walking out of the store, placing the rings in my inventory as I left...

<<Floor 2, mountain trail>>

I was currently making the trek to the quest area for <<Breaking the Unbreakable>>, a quest that granted the Extra skill <<Martial Arts>>. since one of the rapier sword arts required MA r2, I figured it would be a good Idea to go ahead and nab MA, even though I wouldn't need it for a good little while. It was a good source of extra damage. I was very close, and had stopped to rest on a  large rock, a small stream flowing nearby where I rested. I carefully scooped up some water, and drank a little, feeling it quench the virtual thirst my avatar had. It was always rather strange to eat or drink in this world, and, even though this world we didn't NEED to, we still somehow had the urge to eat and drink. I sighed, and started playing with Akame, splashing Akame with water. I looked over at my friends list, and I messaged Itzal, and I asked him to come help me out with the quest, since it would probably take forever if I didn't have any help.

'Is this it..?' I had been asked by a friend of mine to go order a ring for his girlfriend, to which I had easily agreed to, and I had a bit of trouble trying to find a store that was open, and that had affordable prices. I was standing in front of the Artisan shop, The Painter's Stones. I immediately headed inside, and, after being greeted by a player, undoubtedly his assistant, I walked towards the ordering section. After I had filled it out with the specified requirements,  I waited to greet the owner. I had met him once or twice before, and he seemed nice enough to me from the few times I had spoken to him. "Na, naa... hello there~! I would like to talk to the owner, if possible. I would like to order something for a friend~!" I had de-equipped my cloak, and had already placed it inside my inventory, and I sat down, patiently waiting.

" ...hmm... If I can land at least two critical hits on that monster, I would be able to destroy it with bleed. The only problem that we'd encounter would be the damage, as if I got hit more than 3 times, we'd have to switch out or it would kill me, so we would need to be cautious... maybe a sneak attack?" I was genuinely worried about that. some players decided against playing an offensive build, and chose to play the role of a strict Scout, Healer, or Tank, often in combinations of the three. "... But other than that, I see no problems that we might encounter~!" I tilted my head when she asked for my name. " It's Tricolor_mina, but please, call me violet or mina. not many people like to refer to me by my actual screen name, since it's a mouthful to say." when Kasier mentioned Itzal's familiar, I smiled faintly. " Na, naa... I'm almost sure of it now~! You must be the woman Itzal talked so much about~! The Healer Paladin of the Celestial Ascendants, Kasier~!"

I was walking through the fourth floor, looking for a player named Kasier. She had posted a message on the local floor chat, and had asked for help on the quest <<Avalanche>>. I'd never done that quest before, and I had to worry about taking any damage from mobs that did 50 damage each since I was only level 10... but I had heard about Kasier from a friend of mine, and from what he had said, she was one of the Paladins of CA, a guild that I had joined recently. I equipped Soul Fragment, and I made sure I had The Cloak of Duality equipped as well, and I approached the place she had said to meet at. "Na, Naa... Would you happen to be Kasier by any chance? I saw from the Floor message boards that you needed some help with Avalanche?" Akame floated towards Kasier, landing gently on her shoulder, and curling up after yawning.

I grasped another ingot out of the flowerbed, and I held it up to the light. "Hmm... It looks nice for crafting... It could have been more translucent though..." I grasped the item, and placed it in my inventory, a faint smile on my face. "Na, naa... You can stay with me at my shop if you'd like~! I can teach you a bit about being a blacksmith~!" Akame snickered, and climbed on to Vigilon's head, and flew over to Itzal, settling down on his head. "Hyaauruuuruu~!" I walked over to Vigilon, a grin on my face. "Well? How's about it? I don't bite you know~!"

I was inspecting some of the loose rocks near the flowerbed, and I noticed a weird crystal sitting in the middle of the flowers. I picked it up, and placed it inside of my inventory, smiling. "Na, Naa~! That's a perfect ingot for crafting~!" I gently swayed side to side, singing to myself, not even noticing that I still had the Taiyaki in my hand... until I heard Vigilon ask about how Itzal and I had met.... "... Ah... umm... l-let's not talk about that!!" I went red with embarrassment, dropping the fish-shaped bread, and I tried to change the subject. " U-um..! have y-you ever fought a mob before..? M-me and Itzal could teach you, i-if you want us to that is!" I looked over at Itzal, hoping he at least somewhat agreed with me… If not, then we would be having a very awkward conversation...

"Na, Naa... Your name is Vigilon? It's very nice to meet you!" It was always interesting to run into newer faces, and trying to make newer friends was always on my to-do list. " Na, Naa~! It's nice to meet you! My name is Tricolor_Mina~! If you'd like, feel free to call me Violet or Mina as well, whichever you prefer~!"  "Hyaaorruu~!" My familiar flew over to Vigilon, and after a moment of flitting around, Akame decided to settle for using his shoulder as a napping spot. "Na, Naa... It looks like Akame's already taken a liking to you! Hahaha~!" I opened my inventory, and I pulled out the bag of goldfish bread. I grasped Vigilon's hand, and placed one in it, repeating the process with Itzal. "Try this~! I found a NPC vendor selling Goldfish Bread outside! It makes me glad that they're selling alot of good-tasting sweets in this world~! It's just normal bread with Anko in it, and it's super sweet!" I grabbed the remaining two out of the bag, and broke one of them, offering part of it to Velnia, the bag already having shattered after the last one was removed. " Na, Naa~! I didn't forget you Velnia~! You get to try it too!" I munched on the remaining one happily, taking a mental note of the NPC's name in case I wanted some Goldfish Bread again.

I was walking down the darkened streets of the Town of Beginnings, occasionally chatting with some of the Various NPC street vendors, stopping at one point to buy some goldfish bread , a type of fish-shaped bread that was filled with Sweet Bean paste, similar to Taiyaki, something my mother constantly made for patients at our hospital. I also took the time to chat with a few players, noticing that more and more of the lower-leveled players were starting to venture out and Explore the floors of Aincrad, which now numbered to around 20 in the amount that you could explore, so we still had 80 more floors until we were freed from this prison. Thanks to a few of my friends, I knew some of the things that happened in the front lines, but not much since I was focusing on staying on the lower floors and trying to get my level up. I passed by a familiar restaurant, it sold mostly food from Japan, though it did sell some american foods. I'd eaten there a few times, but I didn't really like the taste. I noticed a familiar face sitting with who seemed to be another rookie player... it was Itzal, who I hadn't seen since the Valentines day dance. I grinned after I noticed this and, after placing the bag of Goldfish Bread in my inventory, I walked inside the Restaurant. "Good evening, miss. How may I help you today?" The NPC hostess greeted me with a smile, and I smiled back. "I'm here to talk to a friend... Oh! That's him now! It's been a little while, Itzal... How are you doing? and who's your new friend? I have't really seen him around the town of beginnings before..."

I looked at Itzal, listening to his nonchalant mentioning of his level. I let him finish with the first question, which was merely why I wanted to join the guild. "that's kind of easy. I want to be able to help people, simply by being strong enough to help out in the game." His second question was just as easy to answer"... my reason to get stronger? ... I ... I want to be able to protect the ones I love... and to be able to protect the weak." I stopped cold when I heard the third question. It was a very touchy subject for me after all..."are you serious Itzal? Remember when we originally met? How I reacted to death? That sounded like something that I wouldn't believe, but I believe it fully. Murder is wrong, but the ones who kill must be ready to die as well." I walked closer to Itzal, and leaned close to his ear, and whispered the rest. "I wish I could forget what I did, I wish I could erase the face of my victim, but reality followed me here too... you remember our conversation at your shop right? About Mira and Ulises? Did you remember what I said about Mira? I killed her. The last time I ever saw her was when she was in the hospital with a tube down her throat. I despise murderers. The only exception is beatbox. Even I'm not safe from my own hatred." I stepped back, a look of anger somewhat etched in my expression.

I grinned at Itzal, Akame chirping happily. "You never fail to amaze me Itzal... you're a higher level than what I remembered... It's interesting." I Stood off to the side, and Akame fluttered over to itzal, landing on his head, chirping again, and curling up into a ball."I didn't need anything, I just decided I needed to get out of my shop for a while... I wanted to go to that party you guys hosted back at christmas... but I never really celebrated that holiday before, not only that I have a bit of a problem being in a crowd of people..." looking at the blonde woman, when Itzal snapped me back to reality when he mentioned the guild. " Oh? you finally formed it?" I looked at him, a smile on my face, "I'm guessing that those questions are related to what I plan on Specializing In?" I pulled up a list of my skills, and made them visible, showing them to him and the woman next to him. " I know it doesn't show right now, but I'm gunning for a Healer and Scout combo." I looked back at the woman, and Smiled. "It's nice to meet you! I'm Tricolor_Mina, but you can call me Mina or Violet, whichever of the 3 you prefer. What's your name?"

I smiled when Itzal looked in my direction, his gaze implying that He had gotten my message. I noticed that he was now beginning to dance with a blonde woman with blue eyes. 'He's definitely different than when we originally met...' I walked back into the kitchen to get more of the blue-green liqueur, and after doing so, I walked back to where I had been standing, though I was hidden among the dancing couples, and not easily noticed... Itzal would only take a moment to find me, which made me wish I could disappear completely sometimes. I spotted two more familiar faces, Morgenstern, and Rin. I walked over to them, noticing that they weren't dancing... I merely stood still... when I realized that a Very Angry Snapping turtle with a teddy bear and a tiny dragon, from the appearance, it seemed that it was Velnia, were riding on the poor turtle. "... Did I really just see that..?" I looked up at Akame, who seemed to be just as surprised as I was. I looked back at Morgen and Rin, and I noticed that they seemed to be having a conversation with a group of two guys. I sighed Inwardly, and headed back to the kitchen to grab some food, because like it or not, you had to eat in this world.

Mina's temporary Vanity Item

I shivered involuntarily, looking at the dress in the mirror... and looking at a face that was barely even recognizable. I had set my hair to be it's original color: half pink, half white, and I had set my eyes to sky blue and ruby red in color... I was finishing up my appearance in a small mirror, and, with a nervous shudder, I looked up again. my loose hair bouncing in anticipation, and, for some reason, it seemed to match my Kimono perfectly. "I can do this! a party like this should be easy for me to enjoy... but I feel so nervous... and.. excited?" I stood up straight, and I dashed outside, a look of excitement on my face. The one problem I had with going to a party, was the fact that I wasn't allowed to wear anything below formal wear, which sucked. I hated dresses, so I was wearing my compromise with the guards. I walked into the kitchen, and I picked up a goblet of greenish-blue liqueur, and tried it. It tasted similar to a wine I had on my 18th birthday, courtesy of Marianne and Akane of course. I continued to sip on the drink, while walking towards the ballroom, I noticed my familiar perk up at a familiar sight. "Huh?" I looked around for whoever it was I needed to see that the little dragon recognized, I immediately spotted Itzal among a group of his friends... I merely hid behind a table, a faint blush on my face. 'Maybe I need to gather the courage to go over there right away... but those familiars are a little scary..." I looked at Akame, and with both of us nodding at each other, I sent her over to Itzal with a small note.

I watched as everyone else began showing up, and I noticed Itzal and Liam had both used parkour to get over here... making me think back to the time when I got my familiar with Liam, and I ended up having to stifle a couple of giggles when I pictured Itzal face-planting on the ground. I was thinking about last year, and I got a warm feeling from how much everything had changed since then... I was level 9 now... I was so happy back then, and now, I've completely changed from back then... I turned to face everyone, and I greeted them. "It's good to see you again, Beat, Evac. I haven't seen you since you got Velnia back, Itzal." I had a smile on my face, and I began explaining the reason I called them to this floor. "Remember how I said in the message that there was a bunch of materials on this floor? These materials are called <<Frostbite Steak>> and <<Icicle Crystals>>, and I heard from a couple of players that there were a few ways to get the materials... one of them was a mob called  <<Frostbite>>, and the other was through breaking Icicles." I walked towards a large Icicle and pointed at it. "I think this one would drop one... Itzal, why don't you give it a shot?"

<<Snowfrost town, 4th Floor of Aincrad>>

I was walking down the road of the fourth floor's main settlement, Snowfrost town, and I sneezed, shivering because of how cold it was.. 'Picking this place was a bit... of a strange Idea... I guess I could try to find some new materials for my shop..." I walked toward the teleport gate, and I sat down, peeling off a piece of cloth from my clothes, and I started polishing my rapier with that and a little bit of snow. I looked in my inventory, and I remembered the Katana I was supposed to give him, and I stood up, and I started singing (the song is in my signature, the Cheerful situations song) while walking down the road, feeling so light and happy... when I heard a few people talking about something called <<Icicle Crystals>>...  "Um... excuse me, but what exactly are <<Icicle Crystals>>?" "You havent heard?? They're a super-rare crystal that comes out of the snow, or out of those giant Icicles in the forest to the north, near the old boss room!" "I heard that they can be used as both recording crystals or an alloy for blacksmith crafters!""I heard that a wolf mob called <<Frostbite>> drops a kind of meat called Frostbite Steak! I had some that had been prepared by a cook, and it was almost better than Ragout Rabbit meat!!" I felt a shock of suprise, and I opened my menu, and PM'd three people: Liam (Evac), Itzal, and Beatbox, a grin appearing on my face...

I prepared <<Rip ravine>> once again, and I flinched as the Basilisk hit me for 21 HP, but I got 5 health back from battle healing,and I hit it back for 9 damage plus I topped off the bleeding which gave me 12 extra damage, boosting it to 21 damage in total. I lept behind the snake, and I ran around it, confusing it severely. "Na, Naa... You aren't such a big bad snake now are you mister basilisk?" Laughing I landed next to Itzal, Akame fluttering back to my shoulder, chirping like a bird. " I suggest you attack it while I have It distracted Itzal, It won't stay like that for long..." as I said that, the snake turned around, and It struck at me and Itzal...

I ran through the trees, and I spotted Itzal and the basilisk, so I activated Rip Ravine, and I danced around the snake, dealing 9 damage to it. "naa.. it looks like this is getting easier..." I looked over, and I noticed Itzal rushing over, a tiny violet dragon perched on his shoulder. "Na, naa... is that your familiar..?" I noticed akame seemed a bit worried by the new dragon, so I walked closer... and Akame jumped on Itzal's other shoulder, and I stifled a giggle... "Hyuurruruu!!" Akame seemed interested in another dragon, and I focused on the snake, knowing it could retaliate at any second...

I watched the snake rear up, and aim at me, forcing me to leap around the tree in order to dodge it's frenzied striking, when I looked around the tree however... I ended up getting smacked into what seemed to be... a tree...? I ended up falling on something sharp, and I let out cry,looking behind me... I realized I was on top of several rocks... and one of them was wedged in my shoulder. I let out an angry huff of air, and I lept back into the trees, looking for Itzal, who I ended up losing sight of when I got flung a couple hundred meters away..."Okay, I. Am. Done. With. This. Damn. SNAKE!!!" I ended up scaring away a few more friendly mobs, Akame releasing a small whimper when I realized most of those dragons were feathery dragons... 'Itzal is probably right... he might not find Velnia here...'
