  1. Violet winced when Morgen had started shouting at the DPS Paladin, Hikoru, over the death of beatbox. It was a completely unnecessary thing for him to have done. It couldn't be changed, even if someone could have saved him... though the name Death Adder was familiar to her... the news must have mentioned him in passing, she thought. Her eyes filled with tears when she heard the Paladins start to fight badly... A fight between two High-Level Clearers, and it was scary! 'Running out right now sounds like a d@mn good Idea right now' She watched them both storm out of the room, and she shakily stood up, when she noticed the fatherly character ( the only people she didn't know were @Hikoru, @Shield, @Birdie, and the newcomers...) had left to go calm morgen down, which made her sigh in relief... though she was still a bit nervous. "... I... I don't think I really... belong in this discussion..." Violet was extremely nervous from her first meeting with the DPS Paladin... And she made a mental note not to tick him off... Ever. She walked past the two newcomers, her hands tying her eye-patch back to its rightful place. and she fled the room, passing @Morgenstern, and walked out the front door of the guild hall, passing by @Beat as he was walking in the door. She climbed up a tree that was just a few Meters from the Guild hall, and Just sat there, before sending a message to @Itzal

    I can't really appreciate meetings like this... I'm not exactly a people person, and it doesn't help that a gigantic bombshell got dropped on all of us just now... plus two of you started fighting! so much for first impressions... I guess...

    Can you meet me outside? Please?

    she sent the message, leaned back in the fork of the tree she was resting in, and started to wait for him

    OOC: Guys, seriously. Keep the thread moving if you can

    Violet walked through the town, saying hello occasionally to some of the local NPC's that seemed to have gotten used to her presence in the town of beginnings. "Good morning Maude! How's business been going? I see you're doing well~! I'm glad!" She was directly at the edge of town now... and with a sigh, she hopped outside, and walked away from the safety of the town...

    <<Edge of Map, Floor 1>>

    It was a familiar sight to her, the edge of the first floor... a cliff that some had used to end their existence in this cruel world of blades... it was also the first place she had gone to to complete one of her first quests... Earning a living, which she had decided to repeat once more, to add more materials to the store she had bought with the col gained from her completion of the <<EaL>> quest (It had left her with only 600 extra col, but it had a simple bed inside, so it worked for her well). Violet found a rock with what looked like a shining metal on the inside of it. upon pulling it open, she found a nice material for a simple T1 item.

  3. <<Floor 1, The Tricolor Armory>>

    Violet had just woken up that morning, so she was still shaking off the cobwebs of REM sleep. Luckily, there was a wake-up alarm function installed in the game, and you could chose what kind of music you would wake up to (Violet had chosen a music-box version of a game theme), and set up your own alarm time. Violet walked into the back room of her store, and checked her material stock. There was hardly any materials left... so with a sigh, she packed up her store for now, and set out to go gather some materials. It was a painful experience to do this, but if she got it done today, she wouldn't have to worry about it later in the week. "Maybe it won't take so long, and I'll be able to get done quicker than last time~" Violet began to hum to herself, and she gently pushed the door open, and went out, her equipment on her person.

    My eye flashed a darker red color, and my sword flashed a reddish gleam. "...A critical hit, huh?" I rushed forward, letting out another shout, and I hit it four times in the chest, the effect that signified that bleed was now active played, and the Avalanche let out a pained, angry roar. I cheered as the 10 extra damage took effect, and shoved down its health bar drastically. I retreated from it, and turned back to Kasier. "... I rather doubt that it would take too terribly long to finish it off,  Kasier-Chan! Pessimism isn't very good in a fight, even if the risk is little in said fight... so cheer up a bit! it won't take so long, I promise! " I had pumped the air, and smiled as I said that, so I got into a low kendo stance with my sword out straight. I was glad that I had chosen to help her with this quest...

    My Rapier started to gleam, signifying that my Sword-Skill was ready, and I charged the Avalanche, and because it was still paralyzed, I wouldn't have to worry about Kasier being hit by it again. "HaaaaAAAHH!! Quadruple Pain!!" There was a red-splash effect when I stabbed it four times, and I noticed a secondary effect had added another point of damage to a 6-damage attack, boosting it to 8 points of damage. I immediately backed up to Kasier, a smile on my face. " Thank you for the damage bonus, Kasier-Chan! Every point Helps! " I practiced the motion again, just so I could commit that to memory. when I got a new weapon, I probably need to get extra bleed on it, and order some accuracy enhancing items from an artisan and Tailor... maybe I would visit Rin-san's shop after this... A +3 Accuracy item would be very helpful, plus maybe some extra bleed. If I ended up lucky, maybe I would be able to craft a new perfect weapon today.

  6. Violet blinked back tears when she heard about beatbox. Despite not knowing him for long, she knew well that he was one of the players that fought to help free us all from Aincrad, a clearer... he had a lot of troubles at one point, but to hear about his death at the hands of a Player-Killer... It was terrible. I removed her eyepatch, and placed it inside of her inventory, removed her cloak, and laid it inside of her inventory as well... And, with a shaky sigh, Violet laid her weapon, Soul Fragment, on the table, wrapped in the black cloth that shield had been passing around. "I didn't know him as well as the others probably did, but I know he was a good player, even though he made a mistake. May he rest in peace, our fallen Star of Aincrad." Violet moved towards Kasier and Itzal, having placed her weapon on the table, taking immediate note of the sadness evident on her friend's face. It seemed like he was just as badly torn as the rest... though she had recognized anger, albeit only for a mere second. She sat down next to him, and rubbed his back, sympathizing about it. even though she knew her friend wasn't dead, she still understood the feeling of losing a friend to death. "If you would ever like to talk it over with me, feel free to... Just please don't do anything stupid, okay Itzal? Just try to at least think it through, Please." she whispered. Violet listened to the speech about the next boss from one of the other paladins... she believed it was the DPS Paladin? Even though she would probably never be able to help in the front lines... she still figured it was at least a good Idea to sit in on one of the meetings, even though she practically no say in what happened. She also watched Shield say no one would be allowed to leave for now, not until the meeting was adjourned... he sounded a bit like a parent, though she shrugged it off, since he looked like he was a bit older than some of the others here, Maybe he was, say, an older brother.  Violet flopped forward on the table, and watched Jonathan for a moment, before turning her attention back to Itzal and Kasier...

    "GROOOOOOOOH!!!!!"

    I felt buffered as the Avalanche roared out on it's own, and charged past me, right into Kasier, nearly knocking me over in the process... and as it was, I had been thrown so badly, my attack failed to get through, though Kasier only took a single point of damage from the attack from the looks of it. I let out a sigh of relief, and got back up, regrouping beside Kasier. I shivered slightly before turning my gaze to her. "Na, Naa... You really are a higher level player. Not too often I've seen players with mit so high they only take a single point of damage from a 42 damage attack! I'm so glad that I'll be working with you eventually!" I flipped my jacket to the opposite side, revealing the dark purple color underneath it. 'It hardly does damage to Kasier, but I want to get this over with as soon as possible, It's freaking COLD!' I shivered and pulled it tighter around myself. I wasn't too resistant to the cold here on this floor..

  8. "... is this it..?" Violet was staring up at the beautiful guild hall that had been built for The Celestial Ascendants. She could easily notice that there were three inside already, thanks to one of the windows, two faces that she had not met before, and @Itzal. One was a girl with pretty blue hair and eyes, and a man who looked like he could be consistently grumpy, with wavy dark-brown hair, and dark brown eyes that had a constant chill to them. 'thinking about it.. I've never met anyone in the guild save for Beatbox, @Kasier, Itzal, and @Morgenstern... maybe I'll be able to meet the others!' Mina sat there for a moment, before turning to enter the building, a quiet sigh escaping her mouth. Violet walked around to the entrance, and gently pushed the wooden door open, and, after making sure her Cloak of Duality was flipped out to the green side, entered the guild hall, heading over to one of the many banners hanging in the room, just to admire them. She knew how much the guild hall must have cost... most houses on Aincrad were over 400,000 Col, the most sought out ones were over a mil Col, and guild halls were closer to the price of the latter than the former. The golden yellow sun on the dark blue background... It was gorgeous.

  9. I watched her for a moment, and when she said she would pay me a visit when she got her new weapon, I punched the air out of pure joy. "Really?! Thank you Kasier!" I was practically on cloud nine when I heard what she said, especially since it meant that I had a potential new customer now. "I promise I'll have your new weapon ready ASAP, just let me know when you need it ok (I could try to craft it today, but it's a pretty low chance of that happening)? Now, as for avalanche... Since its further up we better get started climbing right away, so c'mon! If I'm not mistaken,  the Tundra Field is this way!" I sped off with her in tow, A name fluttering after us

    "That would be the best course of action naturally... I think that I'd rather not have a -1 to my accuracy thanks to nighttime debuff... Let's head out, shall we?" I turned my cloak inside-out, making sure that both the green and the purple were visible, just in case it did hit nightime and Kasier needed to find me. when she mentioned that she wanted Itzal needed to stop talking about her, I chuckled quietly and turned back towards her, continuing forward while we talked. "Na, naa... I only brought up the connection because I recently joined the guild... That, and he always seemed to speak so highly of you~! If I'm not mistaken, he also said that you were a pretty strong healer as well... All the more reason for him to talk about you in my opinion~!" I smiled, Akame landing on my shoulder as I continued forward. "I wish the game let you buy a permanent home here, it's really pretty after all... but I guess we'll have more snowy floors later on~!"I grinned at Kasier, and allowed Akame to fly towards her and land on her head. "Y'know... If you ever need a weapon, feel free to ask me for one! all I'll ask for is materials and for you to be satisfied with my craftsmanship~! It's the least I can do since Itzal's helped me out of a few nasty situations before" It was already well past noon here, and the snow seemed to have calmed down a little bit. I smiled when I noticed that the sunlight seemed to be dyeing the snow a myriad of reds, yellows, and blues. "Naa... I'm almost never here~! I might try to find some materials here if we finish with the <<Avalanche>> boss quickly~!"

    I smiled at Itzal, and chuckled. "Na, naa... you're kinda right... you're like everyone else, so you get frustrated too! so you're just... You! You have a good heart, you aren't cruel, and you have such wonderful friends too~!" I twirled around, the two dragons floating around me. "I wish I could have that kind of innocence, y'know? The kind that comes with a clean conscious? I miss when I'm able to have a genuine laugh with someone... but it all changed when you became my friend~!KRAK! I had slammed my foot into the rock, dealing a single point of damage to the massive boulder. The smile had left my face, and I turned towards Itzal with a pleading look. "Y'know...? I hope I never see you end up like that.... with bloodstained hands, and the knowledge that you hurt someone. It's never justified, no matter how you defend it." I stroked Akame, my face slightly hidden by a shadow. It made me sad to ask him to promise something like this... but it needed to be asked. "... Can you promise something to me..? Itzal? Please... don't drop to the level of a player killer. Even if it's to avenge someone... It's not worth it." Akame landed on my head, purring quietly. I sat down again, my face was still shadowed by my hair. "Please... I know it's unlikely that you'll ever do something like that, but... just in case, I'd rather be safe than sorry..."

I heard a loud boom, and saw itzal knock a large hole in the center of the boulder. I shuddered, and looked back at the dragons. "... Ah... Yeah, I definitely need to try to get further ahead... Jeez Itzal, I didn't know you were THAT mad at the poor boulder.... that crack you put in it was Huge!!" I cuddled akame, who didn't really like loud noises, and I covered her furry ears. I knelt down, and searched the ground for a piece of ore, but had no luck. I stood back up when he mentioned he needed experience. "Experience comes more with practice~! In that aspect, You definitely beat me~ Though I wonder how much experience you'll have with dealing with IRL situations here..." Akame had flown a circle around my head, and then over to itzal, landing on his head.

    I heard the sound of very faint footsteps, and I turned around, startled by how fast he had shown up. "Na, naa... you showed up rather quickly, Itzal~! and Velnia Too~!" I smiled, and stood up, walking towards Itzal. "I was getting ready to complete Breaking the unbreakable~! I'm looking forward to breaking that rock into pieces~ Break it! Break it~!" I remembered something that he had asked for, so I pulled it out of my inventory, and handed it to Itzal. "Na, naa... I got the rings you requested~ I hope you send an invitation to me when you two decide to finally get married~!" I stepped back after, and did a small spin. I had no clue why I was feeling so cheerful all of a sudden... I guess I was just feeling sentimental... "Na, naa~! How have you been lately?" I walked over to the two dragons, both of them floating around and cuddling, and I scooped them up.

  17. I stood up, after Domarus greeted me and held out the rings. "Thank you for making this for me as fast as you did. A good friend of mine wanted this to give to his girlfriend, but he didn't exactly have the most time to come out to a shop to order it..." I bowed politely to Domarus, and paid him the 400 col after taking the rings, a faint smile present on my face. "Na, naa.. I'll be sure to be a repeat customer here~! Na, Naa.. Your store reminds me of a art store that was near my home that I frequented~!" I bowed again, this time to Keres. "I like your maid's costume, Keres! You and Domarus match quite well together~!" I bowed one more time before walking out of the store, placing the rings in my inventory as I left...

  18. <<Floor 2, mountain trail>>

    I was currently making the trek to the quest area for <<Breaking the Unbreakable>>, a quest that granted the Extra skill <<Martial Arts>>. since one of the rapier sword arts required MA r2, I figured it would be a good Idea to go ahead and nab MA, even though I wouldn't need it for a good little while. It was a good source of extra damage. I was very close, and had stopped to rest on a  large rock, a small stream flowing nearby where I rested. I carefully scooped up some water, and drank a little, feeling it quench the virtual thirst my avatar had. It was always rather strange to eat or drink in this world, and, even though this world we didn't NEED to, we still somehow had the urge to eat and drink. I sighed, and started playing with Akame, splashing Akame with water. I looked over at my friends list, and I messaged Itzal, and I asked him to come help me out with the quest, since it would probably take forever if I didn't have any help.

    @Itzal

  19. 'Is this it..?I had been asked by a friend of mine to go order a ring for his girlfriend, to which I had easily agreed to, and I had a bit of trouble trying to find a store that was open, and that had affordable prices. I was standing in front of the Artisan shop, The Painter's Stones. I immediately headed inside, and, after being greeted by a player, undoubtedly his assistant, I walked towards the ordering section. After I had filled it out with the specified requirements,  I waited to greet the owner. I had met him once or twice before, and he seemed nice enough to me from the few times I had spoken to him. "Na, naa... hello there~! I would like to talk to the owner, if possible. I would like to order something for a friend~!" I had de-equipped my cloak, and had already placed it inside my inventory, and I sat down, patiently waiting.

  20. " ...hmm... If I can land at least two critical hits on that monster, I would be able to destroy it with bleed. The only problem that we'd encounter would be the damage, as if I got hit more than 3 times, we'd have to switch out or it would kill me, so we would need to be cautious... maybe a sneak attack?" I was genuinely worried about that. some players decided against playing an offensive build, and chose to play the role of a strict Scout, Healer, or Tank, often in combinations of the three. "... But other than that, I see no problems that we might encounter~!" I tilted my head when she asked for my name. " It's Tricolor_mina, but please, call me violet or mina. not many people like to refer to me by my actual screen name, since it's a mouthful to say." when Kasier mentioned Itzal's familiar, I smiled faintly. " Na, naa... I'm almost sure of it now~! You must be the woman Itzal talked so much about~! The Healer Paladin of the Celestial Ascendants, Kasier~!"

    @Kasier

  21. I was walking through the fourth floor, looking for a player named Kasier. She had posted a message on the local floor chat, and had asked for help on the quest <<Avalanche>>. I'd never done that quest before, and I had to worry about taking any damage from mobs that did 50 damage each since I was only level 10... but I had heard about Kasier from a friend of mine, and from what he had said, she was one of the Paladins of CA, a guild that I had joined recently. I equipped Soul Fragment, and I made sure I had The Cloak of Duality equipped as well, and I approached the place she had said to meet at. "Na, Naa... Would you happen to be Kasier by any chance? I saw from the Floor message boards that you needed some help with Avalanche?" Akame floated towards Kasier, landing gently on her shoulder, and curling up after yawning.

I grasped the item, and placed it in my inventory, a faint smile on my face. "Na, naa... You can stay with me at my shop if you'd like~! I can teach you a bit about being a blacksmith~!" Akame snickered, and climbed on to Vigilon's head, and flew over to Itzal, settling down on his head. "Hyaauruuuruu~!" I walked over to Vigilon, a grin on my face. "Well? How's about it? I don't bite you know~!"

    I was inspecting some of the loose rocks near the flowerbed, and I noticed a weird crystal sitting in the middle of the flowers. I picked it up, and placed it inside of my inventory, smiling. "Na, Naa~! That's a perfect ingot for crafting~!" I gently swayed side to side, singing to myself, not even noticing that I still had the Taiyaki in my hand... until I heard Vigilon ask about how Itzal and I had met.... "... Ah... umm... l-let's not talk about that!!" I went red with embarrassment, dropping the fish-shaped bread, and I tried to change the subject. " U-um..! have y-you ever fought a mob before..? M-me and Itzal could teach you, i-if you want us to that is!" I looked over at Itzal, hoping he at least somewhat agreed with me… If not, then we would be having a very awkward conversation...

  24. "Na, Naa... Your name is Vigilon? It's very nice to meet you!" It was always interesting to run into newer faces, and trying to make newer friends was always on my to-do list. " Na, Naa~! It's nice to meet you! My name is Tricolor_Mina~! If you'd like, feel free to call me Violet or Mina as well, whichever you prefer~!"  "Hyaaorruu~!" My familiar flew over to Vigilon, and after a moment of flitting around, Akame decided to settle for using his shoulder as a napping spot. "Na, Naa... It looks like Akame's already taken a liking to you! Hahaha~!" I opened my inventory, and I pulled out the bag of goldfish bread. I grasped Vigilon's hand, and placed one in it, repeating the process with Itzal. "Try this~! I found a NPC vendor selling Goldfish Bread outside! It makes me glad that they're selling alot of good-tasting sweets in this world~! It's just normal bread with Anko in it, and it's super sweet!" I grabbed the remaining two out of the bag, and broke one of them, offering part of it to Velnia, the bag already having shattered after the last one was removed. " Na, Naa~! I didn't forget you Velnia~! You get to try it too!" I munched on the remaining one happily, taking a mental note of the NPC's name in case I wanted some Goldfish Bread again.
