Hidden sat quietly as the man sped forward, thrusting his weapon into the treant. It shattered upon touch and the other tree guys turned on Hikoru. His technique with the dagger was flawless. He must have mastered the skill with it. She watched as he turned to the next, as if he were going to kill all of them too. His face was completely serious, and he had a whole different attitude while he was fighting. It was more of a pressing matter and there was no time for fun. She felt the urge to fight, but knew that she would be of no help anyway. She would get herself killed, and deal no damage. She heard a rustle behind her and adverted her attention away from the battle. She could not make out any figures, but she could have sworn she heard something. Instinctively, she felt her weapon in her hand. It was cold to the touch, but it was comforting. The fact that she knew she could defend herself with it was great, now she just needed to increase her damage and get new equipment. Soon she would be able to get things done.

Hidden smiled to the fact she was already almost done with her work. It had gone great so far, she just now needed to go ahead and finish off a few more before she was done with this quest. The reward item was useless to her now, but she could see or gift the item to another player. Or for now, she could keep the armor until she got herself a cloak, that way she could have a bit of mitigation. Smiling at her ideas she searched around, finding yet another boar pup. Stealthily sneaking forward, she held her weapon in a reverse grip. One hit wonders were on her side in the quest, all she had to do was get close enough. She sprinted forward, her cloak flowing beside her. The boar pup barely got the chance to look her way before her dagger slashed right through its body. She smiled and resheathed her weapon, but was saddened to find out that she had not received anything for it.

Hidden watched as Hikoru began to slow down and she was a bit relieved. That was quite a run and he was going in full. He turned and told her to observe. She nodded, but was a bit unhappy that she would have to sit on the sidelines, but it was her own good. Hikoru could do this on his own, and had no need for her in the way. He told her to watch the correct way he used shadowed path. 'What is that There is nothing called Shadowed Path.' He retrieved his knife and she became wary. She was quite sure that it was not going to be used on her. Sinking into the thick of the forest, she began to conceal herself from view from the monsters. She should watch from a distance to ensure that she was not caught in the battle. She began to peer out of the wood and watched as he seemed to advance towards... a tree. He came here to kill trees? That was a bit odd. What did he say this quest was? Something about a rivalry. She guessed she would find out sooner or later.

Hidden listened to the man as he proudly told her if the mobs were able to hit him. Her face became glum as once again she felt much too weak to do anything. Helpless. He brought up the hood to his cloak and told her they were to be traveling through the shadows. Hidden. She thought there was a hint to a pun in his words, but she did not get a chance as he told her to keep up. She followed him, even though he was ridiculously fast. She sped up to where she was running at the highest of her speed. It allowed her just to stay behind the man, but if he ran any faster he would be gone. 'When he said Master of Shadows earlier, I don't feel like that was a self given nickname. He seemes quite proud of his hiding abilities as well. I wonder why.' They reached the woodline, and she began to look around. They still had to go in through the extra heavy thicket. She burst through, and jumped to the side a she almost ran into a few trees. Hikoru lay in front of her about ten feet, and showed no signs of slowing down yet.

OOC Heard I needed to Post again.... Dang.
It was not long before her dagger was finished, and Hidden stepped forward with a smile. Her dagger was placed on the rack and she sent the woman her materials. It was just how she described and she was fascinated the woman could craft something like that with such ease. She plucked the dagger from the rack and twirled it in her hand. It felt comfortable, and balanced in her hand. She smiled, barely able to be seen by the woman. "You have my gratitude, I will ensure to come back when I need to again." With that she equipped her weapon and walked out the door. She would no longer need her iron dagger, but she would keep it just case. It had gone well without wait and if asked, she definently would refer this woman. She truly was a remarkable blacksmith. Only one question layed in her mind. What would hse do with the weapon now? She really was not strong enough to go fighting yet, so she would have to take a while before actively using it.

Hidden listened to the man. He must have been a man of jokes, because he made a slight one of her name. 'Now that I think about it, I am quite surprised he is the only that has made a joke like that' She remained calm, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of his joke. He told her he was only joking, and continued to greet her. She accepted his party request and Hikoru appeared under her bar, just as her's was. She gasped at his level. "F-f- Fifty four?" she spoke quietly. He was an ungodly high level. Especially compared to her. While it was out, he appeared to have identified her weapon. Nonthreatening, he pulled his out, showing he also used the dagger. He spoke of it not dealing as much damage, but conserved energy. She shrugged. It was more of the fact she had gotten used to it in the real world, and she did not like the fact of having to struggle under the weight of a larger weapon. She had a small frame, and could not carry much weight. "What is your plan? Are you going to take the damage?" This was a more serious matter. She could not take two hits from things on this floor without dying.
-
Hidden watched the boar tort as if it were proud of itself for a job well done. Now she was prepared, she knew what she had to do. She switched her dagger from a reverse to normal grip and held it tightly. It was not as long as a sword or another weapon, so he would have to use a speed advantage. She sped in, her weapon glowing a faint blue. She seemed to have caught the boar by surprise, and she ducked to the side of it to prevent herself from getting hit again. Using this newfound strength and confidence, she thrust her dagger into the side of the boar pup, shattering it upon contact. She smiled and sheathed her weapon back inside her cloak. That was one gone. Two was left to deal with. She already had taken out one and got a boar pup, meaning this quest was going much smoother than the previous. She could not get to excted. She was still out in the plains, and that was still where people died at.

She stepped outside the door and into the plains. She was looking for boar pups that traveled here, and she needed to kill a few of them and reap them of their tusks. Luckily, they were not strong, and had a low amount of health. At her damage, she could one shot them without using a sword art. She kept moving forward, scanning her surrounding area. She smiled as she finally seen one of them. This was her first chance in combat. This was where you could see if you were any good or not. The Boar Pup seemed to notice her as well, but she shot forward right at it. Her dagger came into her hand, and she slashed forward from a reverse grip. She was much too slow, allowing the Boar pup to dodge her attack and ram her forward. She fell to the ground, but rolled back up, giving her an chance to go at the ready next time. She had gotten to far ahead of herself for that attack. She needed to come in better.

Hidden followed Domarus numbly, searching around as she did. He answered her, sounding strangely pleased with himself about it. He told her that he would be a DPS. That was also bad news for her if they got into a fight. She literally would have no second chance. Hopefully it would not come down to that though. Domarus spoke again, speaking of how she was a more of a non combat character. Meaning she probably was a scout. Them together would eventually be her build. He asked of her build, and she stopped herself. Of course he was going to ask this question. She asked him the same. She spoke, a bit hesitant to be giving out information like that, but it would keep things going a bit. "My build will be the cross of a Damage and a Scout, allowing me to deal a ton of damage, but be useful out of combat. I will mainly be DPS though. Until later at least." After that she shut her mouth. That was a lot of information to be given out, but it would have been rude not to answer.

Hidden waited silently. She was a tad bit annoyed that the person was not here at the time they posted the quest, but nobody in this game was perfect. She heard a cough right behind her, scaring her out of her wits. Making a quick decision, the girl spun around, ending up a few feet away with her knees bent in a battle ready position. Somehow, her weapon was in her hand. <Shadow's Bite> was black and if he were to look close he would see this thin line of black smoke arising from it. The figure was cloaked as well, until they removed it. It was a male with a bit longer hair than most guys and glasses. He had spoken of her being the one accepting the quest, and he did not appear to know who or what she was. The woman slowly stood up, bringing her weapon back hidden inside its sheath. He must have just been very quiet walking up or something. He did not mean any harm. She stood stiffly and nervously gave her name. "H-h-Hidden. My name is Hidden." She did not even attempt at a friendly smile. Something told her that she was lucky to not have attacked. He looked rather highleveled. He would have killed her instantly if he would have tried anything.

Hidden strayed onto the third floor. The scenery of the first floor was getting a bit boring, and she did not want to move to the mountainous floors of the second. She would rather stay into the much peaceful area of the third floor. The woman was short, surpassing five foot by a mere inch. She was completely cloaked, her dagger, <Shadow's Bite> rested in the sheath inside of its sheath. Her unseen purple eyes surveyed the area and she blinked as she heard the beep of a notification. It appeared someone wanted to be accompanied by someone for a higher level quest in this area. They said nothing about helping, just accompanying. She sighed, accepting the request. She was given details of the location. The teleport gate. She closed her menu and walked cautiously forward. There was no one around. Perhaps they were late. She felt her hand move to the hilt of her dagger by habit as she was unsure of what was going on. Was it perhaps a joke, or a trap? She had to be on alert either way. She was not that strong yet, and being on this floor could be dangerous if she was not at full readiness
-
Hidden looked over to Keres as she spoke, seeming actually sincere. Domarus seemed bewildered at the fact that she had spoke up. She nodded inside her hood and turned to Domarus who seemed to want to try and stay out of her way later in the game by promising that he would stay out of that area. She did not think of it is a quiet area, but it was a good place to find some materials. It was where she found most of her materials for the first quest that she had completed. She began to move forward, ensuring that her weapon was ready. She did not feel like anything funny was going to happen, but it was best to be on the safe side. It was strangely quiet, and Hidden did not like that since she was traveling with two total strangers, probably both of much higher level than she. She had to ensure that they had no time to think against her, or speak quietly in private. "So Domarus, what is your build, or desired build?" She figured she would keep conversations not to personal but have them on be basic.
-
She opened the door of the blacksmith. She literally had just finished the last of her errands that Zachariah had for her. She had earned quite a bit of experience form it, and he had let her go with a good amount of potions. Now she was to bring this package to the blacksmith. She stepped inside of the forge and searched around. She seen an anvil with a man working hard on a sword a it. As his eyes met her figure that was masked by a cloak he smiled. He seen the package that rest in her hands. With a booming voice Lyle Tealeaf spoke. "Ah my package! Thank you!" She handed him the package with a slight smile surprised of how jolly this gruff man was. He moved over to his anvil again and looked at it with a frown. He began to search around, a bit frantic for something. Curious, the woman pulled down her hood as she knew this was an NPC that was unaffected by her appearance. "What is the matter?" The man looked to her with a smile and calmly said, "It appears that I have misplaced my boar pup tusks. Could you perhaps go out and fetch some for me?" The woman nodded and turned to head out the door.
-
Hidden watched the man closely. He offered her a friendly grin, which seemed pleasant but she was quite used to the look. He was very good at it, so much she had to question herself if he was really doing it. Deception. Something she occasionally used herself, but had yet to master. 'I don't know anymore. Perhaps i'll just follow. Perhaps I can make a good resource out of him. It really is best to know someone, and he certainly has the build of a fighter.' She smiled and realized it was hidden into her cloak. Looking to the side, she gazed upon the plains. "My name is Hidden." She found that the woman, Keres as Domarus introduced her, bowed to her telling her that it was nice to meet her. She studied the woman for any signs of unhappiness but found none. She could not pin the man against anything so she decided that she might as well go with him. She found the dragon remained on her shoulder, but for some reason, its presence was a bit comforting. Odd.... She never had a pet before.
She listened closely as Domarus spoke of where they should search. He offered to stay in the plains though. Her eyes drifted to the forest and pointed toward it. "I have found that there is an excess in and right outside the forest. Materials in the plains are a bit more scarce, so best to move to the forest" She blinked. 'Where did that come from? It was a bit strange. She usually kept information like that to herself, and did not participate in conversation.' She looked up at the man's face. If he was deceiving her, he was doing a fantastic job. He had somehow... somehow managed to get get information out of her. She fell the hilt of her dagger hidden in the sleeve of her cloak, prepared to use it if need be.
-
Hidden watched as a very tall red haired man came out of the gates. He did not appear like most did, but instead appeared to be quite a bit stronger. Much stronger than herself at least. Her eyes quickly flicked to the man's armor, appearing to be made out of some sort of bone. Her eyes moved to a flaming familiar on his shoulder, appearing to be a small dragon. It appeared to have the same sort of armor as its master. Her eyes caught someone shorter, but still taller than herself following the man. She was dressed in a maid's outfit as if she was a servant to the man. She also had a familiar but it appeared to be a snake of some sort, but she did not appear as much as a... threat. The man was large, and had an aura that made him seem in charge. She shuddered a bit and was quite surprised when his dragon leapt onto his shoulder and refused to move. In a booming voice the man approached apologizing. He also said the only ways it would move if he forced it, or she came along. She felt a bit forced to be going. The man blocked the way back into the town, and she knew there was no point really.
She was a bit weary about going but she answered, "Um... I am afraid I am not that good yet, but sure I can come if you like" She felt as if soon she would be regretting her words. Anyway, she really had not given this man a chance. She should at least try, if not then she would be out in a mere instance. Her eyes flicked toward the dragon the rest upon her shoulder. Its flames licked her cloak but did not burn for some reason. She looked back to its master, the man at least a foot and a half taller than herself. She had a feeling that she might end up like the woman behind him, but the girl behind him seemed loyal. Something she had not shown to anyone yet. -

This time she got it good enough for the man. He smiled and took the potion from her and clapped his hands. "Good" he said. "You have shown me that you could take up any task, even the most difficult and longest of tasks. I know now that you can continue forward. You have a bit of a journey ahead of you, bust something tells me you on't find it to hard." He grabbed something off of his table and handed it to her. "Bring this to this blacksmith known as Lyle Tealeaf. He will know exactly what do do with it. Follow his orders and train hard while you are at it." He smiled and brought her to the door, closing it on her way. Quickly moving, she needed to get to the man's smith shop. Finally she reached her destination, but she paused at the door, mentally readying herself before entering. Finally ready, she pushed it open to reveal a forge.

She sighed and returned to the work. She was not even an alchemist. She did not WANT to be an alchemist. She really did not know what she wanted to be, though she might follow what Sey said and be a merchant. It was not that bad of a profession, and she would not get it for quite a long while. She refocused on her work, making sure she did exactly s he told her. It was surprising that he wanted to see her do this, perhaps he just liked to see other's fail, but his smile was kind showing her that he would not do that. It appeared to be going a bit better than the last, but eventually it just stopped, another fail, another material wasted. She looked to Zackariah as if to ask if she could be done now. He shook his head, repeated the process and handed her another material. She was NOT going to fail this time.

She quickly moved forward, back into the town and once again she paused at his door, this time taking no time to knock. She walked right in, materialized a bag full of the materials and set them unto the table. The man's smile was kind it he did not seem surprised at all that it took quite a long time. "You have done quite well, I congratulate you upon your work. Now, I am going to ask two more things of you. Help me make some potions and ah... deliver something for me" The man's tone was kind, and his face really was not one to say no to so she just gave him a slight nod. She walked over to the potion set and grabbed one of his materials. The man seemed to be watching ehr every move like a hawk, like he was waiting for her to just die. She began her brewing. The potion turned out terrible, and the man gave a warm smile and began to redirect her, showing her how to do it. He also wanted her to try again even though she already had wasted a material.
75339 CD:1 WHY

She kept searching, now with new purpose. Not the fact she needed one more material, but the fact that she could be done and begin to get the hell outta here. She searched through the leaves, moving things aside until she finally found one last gleam. There, growing without the sun, was the last material. Quickly, she picked it, using not caution with it. She watched it dissapear and she turned toward the towns and began to head back that way. The older man hopefully would not scold her for taking absolutely forever would he? 'If he scolds me I am just going o leave, this should not be a quest with a rude NPC. I will stab an NPC before I ever get scolded by one. This is not going to be a remake of the real world. I will not be treated like crap, because in this world, there is no rule against killing.

Everything in her body told her to just give up, head somewhere else, but she managed to keep looking. It was just two materials, how much longer could it take? Keeping the train of things moving, she kept searching, and then she finally saw another. Another small gleam in the grass. She scurried over to it and seen another plant like item growing in the grass. She picked it and instantly it faded, leaving her only one material to find. 'Finally, Only material let to find. After I get that in, then we can start moving back to Zachariah's house and start making those potions he wanted me to do.' She was quite happy to be almost done, just one more spot of luck and she was getting the hell out of these plains. Something told her that she was not going to be done with the plains, jsut quite after she got these materials.

Hidden began her search again, keeping everything going. The more she kept to it the fast she would be done. She only needed two more materis, and then she could haul out of here. There did not appear to be anything in the area so she sat down a bit down from her failed day. You figure it would be a lot easier but no, not for her. She wished she could find at least one more item, take it over to him and just be done. She really wished she did not have to find five, three should be sufficient enough, but the quest required to take five. She stood up, looking atound. She seriously felt like finishing the quest tomorrow, but she really wanted to get it done today, and work on her search and detect skill. She had decided that she would work on dagger and search and detect skill at first, probably get them both max, and then fill out the rest of her build.

Hidden stood facing the plains, right behind her was the gate into the first floor. She stood in the shadows, ensuring she did not get as much attention. She adorned a cloak, covering her body from head to toe. Underneath revealed a woman, quite short with long black hair and deep purple eyes. Not many people seen that her. Only one in this had. Her mind flickered to Sey for just a moment and she could almost see his smiling face with clean ghostly white hair. As her face felt a little hot she shook of the thought. It would be a bit before she would eve allow herself to see him again. She wanted to show him that he had really been a big help, and hidden in the right sleeve of her cloak was one of the items he had helped get her. <Shadow's Bite> had become one of her most valuable possessions even though she had yet to use it. She did not want to engage in combat until she was sure she was ready. Now was not that time. She wanted desperately to use it, but now it would only be used to fight for her survival if need be, and there would not be a reason for that anytime soon. 'Well, I might as well get out there and do something. The more I train, the faster I will be to able to be useful' She had always wanted to be useful, but so far the real world had shown her that she did not.
(Sorry for a short opening thread)
-
It appeared her luck streak had finally ended. She kept searching around the area again in spite of the fact that she found two solid materials there. Though she searched for about five minutes, she turned out empty handed. She was fine with this, but it was a bit of a bummer. The fact she would have to wait again. She had started to get so close, but then was slowly beginning to fall of the trail. It was fine, but she was running out of time, and wanted to be done with this quest in about thirty minutes at the latest. She had no intention of having this quest taking the rest of her day. She had other things to do. Really she did not, but the quest should not take her a few hours to complete when she was just hunting for materials. Perhaps it was because the floor had really been picked clean, and the once filled with items floor, had really nothing left in it.

Hidden had not used much of her energy yet, but she decided to give herself a break. She did not need to overwork herself with too much boar hunting. She searched around and found a grassy area to conceal herself in as she rested. She sat down, the grass folding in under her weight, only leaving the exterior wall of grass around her. Her skills were increasing incredibly fast, but she still was not prepared to fight alone. Not just yet at least. She was fine being slow about it now. She did not want to risk the chance of dying, and working on these quests were really helping her. They were easy, and had a goal for her to work to. Her main skill goals at the moment were her Dagger and Search and Detect. Then she would get a mod or two for both, then her next two would be Hiding and Light Armor. By then, she should have been extra strong, with some kind of unique or even possibly a demonic. A demonic weapon would be great, espically if she had fallen damage. She needed to get a damage familiar, that way she could deal quite a bit of damage.
