  1. (Will edit when I get home)

The red headed young man didn't hesitate to take the seat right infront of Vale. It was almost as if the man was hoping such a thing would happen, but that was merely a speculation that Vale came to the conclusion of. From Vale's perspective and scanning the man over, when her eyes met his she was fast to realize that he was doing much the same. Not much longer after he took his seat did he strike up conversation, something she was expecting. Vale raised an eyebrow at the start of his question then lowered it along with her cup, "I recently just acquired my Martial Arts skill from the second floors. And I much enjoy the atmosphere of the Town of Beginnings, reminds me a little of home." She explained, her purple scaled gauntlets reflecting the light from the sun. She closed her eyes when he offered to obtain her anything from the menu, "That won't be necessary. I am not one to have my meals paid for." Her quick rejection had no hostile emotions, it sounded as though her tone were more matter of fact, "What say you? to both questions you asked me." She asked as she opened her eyes slightly as if to seem that he was the only person in her sight.

  2. Vale had received a message, she opened her private messenger to see a message from Mr. Tealeaf himself, she quickly read through it asking her to deliver an item to this Artisan in the grove that sits in the middle of the town. It was noted in the message that the envelope would be in the mailbox near his building and that he would be out of town for a bit. Vale nodded at the message and took this time to rush over to said Mailbox. Unfortunately the direction of his shop was in the opposite direction of the grove, so the amount of travel time between each would be somewhat tedious trek to say the least.

It didn't take Vale too long to reach his shop and the Mailbox as to which he indicated. She reached down into the mailbox to grab the only envelope in there, a small one at that. She couldn't tell too much, but it felt as though there might be a ring and a few others items. She opened the envelope to a letter, Vale pulled out the letter seeing it addressed to her. She cleared her throat to read the message outloud, "Ms. Hannah informed me of what you might be dealing with for her, so I had Mr. Zakariah supply a potion to keep you safe. Please don't hestitate to use it since he was using what little mats he had left, it will expire. Stay safe out there. -Mr. Tealeaf. P.S. The ring in there is for Hannah, she'll explain." She smiled sweetly as she withdrew the potion from the envelope. Leaving the ring in there, Vale immediately departed for the Grove as was noted in the personal message she got from Mr. Tealeaf.

  3. Vale paid attention to Miss Mestophales, not that Vale could honestly keep her eyes off the girl for the most part. When the woman introduced herself, it immediately run in her head, "Cirque du Soleil? I remember my.... now deceased Fiancee..." Her tone soured a bit as she began to remember whom she had just lost, quickly she cleared her throat, "She explained to me about the time she saw Cirque du Soleil. Infact she even told me there was this cat girl that did aerobatic stunts that I would like." Vale pushed her index finger against her face, "She always knew I have a seriously weak spot for Neko girls" her face began to blush up as she thought about everything. Afterwards she quickly cleared her throat, "B-but I know what you mean about meeting knew people. Being a Multi Nationals Martial Arts Tournament winner for Muay Thai, and a Regionals winner for Boxing it made it hard to get to meet people." She could hear Miss Mestophales purring and it really began to itch under Vale, she absolutely adored the ploy the girl was committed to.

"I don't often get into trouble, but when I do I like to get deep into it. Hence why I am not too sorry that I am in this Death Game aswell." She commented in retort to what Mestophales said, "Adrenaline was pretty much the aspect of both of our careers you could say." She giggle at the Miss Mestophales. It was at this point the bodacious cat girl wrapped around her waste, Vale could easily tell that her sweat was probably making a smell, and not a pleasant one at that. It wasn't often yet Vale was honestly embarrassed over her sweat. She took a deep gulp as her cheeks were bright red, "I'm a Master in Martial Arts, and spent atleast six years learning boxing..." Vale was beginning to pant inbetween her words, her weakness for Neko girls was really getting to her.

  4. The man had finally taken note of the girl looking at him, it was pretty quick to deduce that this was the man that had made the comment she heard. The voices matched perfectly. She was quick to note the slight smirk that was on his face, Vale was pretty unsure the meaning behind the smirk but, she wouldn't pay much mind to it. This red headed man had greeted him with his name, so she would return so in kind, "A pleasure to meet you Atzo. The name is Vale." She responded in kind, she opened her hand as she pushed the chair open, "I see you're in the mood to converse with someone, take a seat." she stated as he grabbed her cup of water to drink.

She closed her eyes and brought the drink up to her lips, letting the water slowly flow into her mouth. Once she was satisfied with it, she placed the cup down and opened her eyes to look back at her. Her Amethyst eyes glistened in the light that was shining through the shutters of the window. She watched ever motion the man made, it was a habit of hers from her upbringing. It allowed Vale to generally get a sense of emotion behind peoples actions, but it was to be seen what exactly what she would be getting herself into. She crossed her leg and simply waited for him to make his decision, or move.

  5. It was highly evident by this point that Dominion was highly unaware of a lot of the standards of society. He was really kept away from cities and social life, so the idea of a monstary life was actually pretty accurate of assumption to make of me. He was mostly just oblivious to a lot of facts that were pretty standard, "I did. I was working on my physical conditioning from moment I woke up to the moment I fell asleep. Typically I would spend about six hours practicing techniques and the what not." She explained as she finished off the rest of her water. She looked up and listened to his stories closely.

He seemed to be pretty fixed on the story of Egypt, not only that, but he seemed to have very down trodden thoughts of the place and the people. Vale even giggled when the man made mention that he attempt to fly out of a tree, "What made you think you could fly?" She asked rhetorically, trying not to interrupt him in all honesty as she refocused on his story and continued to listen. He tried to contemplate the idea of how the sand got all over the entirety of Egypt, which again caused her to laugh at the idea that he had formulated within his mind, "Nature is a pretty magnificent in it of itself. Kinda remarkable how the entirety of the land was created in the real world." She noticed a yellow button appear on her screen, she moved her finger to press on it to see her alarm notification, "Wow time really flies when you're having fun. But I need to hit the road, I have to get back to questing. I promised someone I would meet them." She puts her hands together, "I apologize greatly for leaving at such an abrupt time, thank you for the stories and sharing. Have a good day Dominion." Vale quickly got up and rushed out of the Tavern waving to him.

  6. It was incredibly apparently that Hikoru wasn't even paying attention to her attempt to try and make amends with him. He had already taken off to start walking on the path that lead in the direction of the quest. Vale honestly wanted to try and make amends the the guy, it seemed like there was a lot of things that was bogging this mind down. After a few moments, Hikoru turned around to her rubbing his temple while sighing. He made it apparent that he honestly didn't like her, but he made the assumption that she didn't like him, "If that is truly want you want Hikoru. But, if I can speak as well before you start taking off like you are doing at the moment." She tried to reason with him before he got too far away.

She quickly stepped forward a couple times to stand infront of his path in hopes that it would make him stop and listen, "Hikoru if I can explain. I didn't ever say I didn't like you. I apologize for what I have said." She tried more to levi with him at a basis, "I was trying to make amends with you so we don't have to have this hostile air between us. As much as I wanted to punch you for what you said." Vale was never one to lie, "But there is something that is bothering you. And I'm not one of those who will turn a blind eye to people. So if you want to keep things quiet between us, I'll obliege. But I'll atleast admit I don't want you to think I dislike you." She continually admitted. She was mostly at fault that they got off on the wrong foot, but she wanted to be the one to atleast show an attempt at trying to make this grouping work.

  7. Vale launched into the sky, reaching heights she never knew she could honestly reach. She looked back down, honing her sites in on the rock's crack she had her placement ready, she knew since she prepared for her leg to drive straight through the rock. The Master stood there amazing at just how high she was able to get into the air. She dropped down her leg beginning to glow, "It is time!" She screamed as she slammed her leg into the rock, literally shattering it into thousands of pieces. She landed on her other foot to look at the scattering of small rocks all about the location. She turned on her only foot to look at the Master.

He looked at her and smiled sullenly, "You have earned the right to be a Martial Artist of this world. Please take this gift and take it to heights never before seen." She stood on her feet and bowed graciously to him and he bowed to her. They both took to their separate ways.

  8. She zoned in on herself, she needed to prepare as much as she could mentally to annihilate this rock with one fell swoop of her foot. She sat there squatting with her eyes closed, Vale slowed her heartbeat with each breath she took, slowly counting in her head before she would jump. The Master at this point was no longer able to keep his composure and meditate, he stood up from his sitting position to watch exactly what Vale would do. He was beginning to get someone intrigued over what was about to happen. He wasn't even entirely sure what she was gonna do, but it had something to do with leaping high into the sky.

  9. Every single jump she did just simply didn't free right at all. Upon landing again she stared at the crack she wanted to strike with her foot. She repositioned her self to place her kicking leg directly over the crack. Vale brought her foot up and placed it down on the crack she had made with the two massive holes in the rock. She took a deep breath, "It's time for you to shatter rock." She told herself as she prepared to leap high. She exhaled slowly, and took the moment to take another deep breath before she took off to the skies. She could feel the moment was neigh.

  10. She continued to practice aiming her leg, she was slowly getting pretty excited for using this method to destroy the rock. The Master couldn't help but look, and at that point gawk at the site he was getting of her. But she kept her eyes affixed, on where she needed to strike and there wasn't much that was gonna deter her. The Master looked at the holes she had made in the rock and was merely impressed with her achievement she had come to accompish so far. He put his hand to his chin and watched at how she was going to finish off the Rock once and for all, or so he would hope would be once and for all.

  11. Vale decided she wanted to try something new in order to finish off this massive rock. She started to jump on the spot where where the crack met the two large holes in the rock, "Perfect spot to do this at." Upon each landing, she would bend down and attempt to get a higher jump. She had never exactly attempted an air axe kick and she needed the spacing between her and the rock to be perfect for one powerful and decisive strike at the pinpoint spot she needed. She would aim her leg before dropping down for the correct angle to destroy the rock.

  12. With another massive strike to the crack she had made her arm nearly plunged all the way through the rock. She was on her chest looking at the hp bar of the rock, there it sat just slivers above being a dissipated health bar. She pulled her arm out and could see a dark abyss in the dead centered of the rock, "One more powerful strike should be enough to shatter this thing to bits." She told herself, she took this time to compose herself. Vale started to get somewhat excited when she knew she was but one more strike away from destroying the rock. And she needed to cleanse her mind of the excitement.

  13. Vale exhaled and returned to punching the rock consistently. The fatigue was beginning to slow her pace ever so slightly, and she could feel it regardless of how much she wanted to ignore it. In the real world her arms would be tired to the point she wouldn't have been able to generate any strength to punch the rock by now, but luckily this world seemed to have a very skewed version of fatigue. Even though she was feeling it truly deep down, she could still muster up an incredible amount of her own personal strength to strike the rock as hard as she possibly could when she absolutely needed to.

  14. The sheer number of strikes on the same spot were starting to display just how much she had done to this rock. She took a deep breath after saying the word four in her head to deliver a powerful strike at the crack she had been building up. She heard the whole thing begin to give way a bit, the massive crack within the rock and on the exterior linked up with the crack that she had been creating with her fists. The health of the rock diminshed more to just over the point where it would turn red. She took another deep breath and readied herself to start punching the rock in the rythem that she had up until this point.

  15. Vale got the name of her new quest mate, and based on his health there was no doubt about it. He needed this quest for his own selfish reasons, not because he truly needed help. The amount of Sarcasm he put on the word pleasure made her want to giggle again, but this time she kept her mouth closed. She had antagonized him enough at this point, there was no point in pushing the obvious. She cleared her throat and lightly bowed with respect this time, "I apologize. I tend to get a little tiffed when I feel insulted. And as you can probably guess by now, I'm not the best with holding my tongue." She explained to him with an honest tone in her voice.

She didn't precisely care if the man would accept her apology, but the least she could do was offer some sincerity. She stood up straight and looked him clear in the eyes, "Make no assumptions, I still don't fear you." She shifted her body slightly, "But trying to keep the air like wouldn't do either of us a lick of good. So please, allow me to start off on a different foot." Her confidence never faltered, it was clear as day she had no fear of him when he put his blade up to her neck. There wasn't much he could do to actually instill fear in the woman if at all. Though if she were going to stay close to the guy who claimed himself the Master of Shadows, there wasn't much need to stay on his badside. Though it was something that was to be seen.

  16. The Master could hear the Rock slowly breaking apart completely, it brought a smile to his face. This had been one of many rocks that needed breaking, and he was long past the point that his physical strength was enough to harm the rock. Being in her presence was enough for her to naturally begin to grasp the skill itself. He wanted her to break through just as much as she wanted, he knew there was going to be something special she did with her fists that most other came through couldn't. The Master knew most employed the need for Martial Arts, not for it's own sake but to improve the weapon they used and essentially deteriorating the real reasoning for the skill itself.

  17. Without letting the joy of learning that the Rock was within breaking point, she returned back to the systematic and rythematic punching scheme she had been doing. The fatigue in her arms were beginning to build up, but she needed to look past that. Her will was unshakeable at this point, knowing that she was within a hairs reach to succeding at her target goal. She perservered and ignored the tired feeling in her arms. Constantly she punched the exact same spot which had a much larger crack at this point. Every single strike she did to it regardless of how weak it was seemed to start affecting it, she could hear it slowly break apart at this point.

  18. Vale would have appreciated the Master not taking the time to try and distract her from her own mental training. She could tell in her peripheral that the sun was beginning to set, due to the hue in the sky changing to orange from it's original blue. She focused in on her spot and struck again with voracious strength. She saw the health bar appear again and noticed the change of the color in not only the sky, but in the color of the health bar of the Rock. It turned to the color of yellow, and Vale remembered that means it was within twenty percent of it's health left meaning the victory line was but around the corner.

  19. The Master paid a little closer attention to her, he could watch the sweat slowly slide down her body. With his angle he could see all but her left foot, he paid attention to the detail in which she kept her attention. He noticed how her eyes never shifted from the same spot, and that she was mouthing the words, "one, two, three, four. One, two, three, four." He smiled. Her tenacity after two hours straight of punching the same rock and not getting flustered was impressive in it of itself. He slowly closed his eyes again and went back to his meditation, she still had some work to do to get that rock to split in half. And bothering her would only cause problem.

  20. Vale began to giggle, the man was trying so hard to be as brutal and rude as humanly possible. But it just seemed to her like a chewhuahua trying to bark, she couldn't get the image out of her head. In her opinion, him acting so tough was one of the most adorable things she could have witnessed so far, "I hear you. I won't sass you anymore than you already seem to take on." She stated, intentionally putting some sass to her words. Vale rubbed her eyes from the tears she had garnered while laughing to press the accept button on the party invitation that she was sent.

She flicked her eyes back at him, with a grin to boot, "I never said you had to listen... I forgot to give you my name." She turned and stuck her hand out, the tightness of her muscles easily visible from her life in the real world, "The name is Vale, it is a pleasure to meet you..." She held out the word you in an attempt to get him to share his name. She was expecting to hear some hardnosed name that generally came from video gamers as she had realized up until now. But she decided that he was here for some particular reason, and obviously he wasn't just doing it because he had that kind of heart. There was something in this that he wanted out of it, and she wanted to know more about the man.

  21. She returned to the repetitive process she had been up to until this point. Systematically punching the same spot over and over, never letting her mind wander. Her aim was pin point each time, if she didn't hit the precise location she was but a few milimeters off if that. Those thoughts never went through her mind though. She systematically counted, one, two, three, four, returning to one after the fourth punch. Repeating it till the strike felt like it was appropriate and right for the attempt. The Master opened his eyes just to peak at her going through a rythem of punches, satisfied that she hadn't given up on trying to break the rock.

  22. Vale kept her mind calm, not letting the fact that she hadn't applied any true damage to the rock after awhile get to her. Vale couldn't let anything change her mental demeanor, it would go against everything that she was taught growing up. So she focused, keeping her eyes affixed on the scratched surface. She then took a long deep breath and plunged her fist into the spot, the health bar reappeared and dropped some more. Her facial expression remained unchanged, she didn't want to get out of the concentrated mindset that she had. Lifting her fist she saw a new crack forming at the top of the exterior of the Rock.

  23. It seemed as though she wasn't exactly feeling comfortable in this position either, something about the downward angle strikes felt just completely off. There wasn't the same feeling of flow that there was when she started this process of breaking the rock. She stretched her back and took a very deep breath, taking in the air slowly and exhaling just as slowly. She repeated this a few times, before she reassumed position, "Regardless. This position is not going to feel comfortable, but this is the spot I need to strike to finish this off since I can't be on the exact opposite side." She told herself as she went back to the rythem of her arms movements.

  24. Something about the position she was standing in was beginning to feel off. As though her strength behind her punches were just non-existant. She tried so hard looking for what is comfortable, but was coming to the conclusion that this spot wasn't best suited to her need. So she took the time to position to a new spot, this time directly across the from the location of the crack on the exterior of the Rock. She honed in on the scratched surface she made while practicing her aim, and repeated the process once again. A rythem in her fists and arms movements could be seen, and for her could be felt.
