Kaya watched as her partner began to put on handwraps on  her hands. Off all the things, why now? She couldn't put those on earlier? This would've been a little easier had she started using them. That said, she had to get the thought out of her mind. With a grimace look about her, she questioned the noirette, "You couldn't put those on earlier? Would've helped a lot, ya know." As her words trailed off, she turned back to face the rock. She then began charging at the rock, but only to stop short and miss the rock entirely. She wasn't really able to concentrate since her mind was still on the fact that Kimi hadn't put those gloves on earlier. she turned back around with a still grimace look about her - completely ignoring the fact that she missed, "Seriously... Those gloves could've helped a lot." Kaya walked back to her little resting place under a tree as she looked to Kimi as she tested out her new handwraps.

Kaya watched as everyone else put on their gears and likewise she did the same. They each had their own niche suited to their playstyle. While everyone had their own custom armors already, Kaya, still had her basic armor. She never really got around to getting one custom to hers. If anything, she'll probably just get ordinary clothes to wear as her gear allows for her to have the utmost mobility while having some protection. That said, they finally step through the gates of Urbus finally leaving town and into the danger zone.

It didn't take long for the group to find what they were looking for exactly. As soon as they reached the forest, they quickly spot a «Wind Wasp» which according to rumors, if killed enough times, their queen would show up. Without any further actions, Kaya rushed the creature. As impatient as she normally is, she quickly got things rolling with her most basic sword art, «Whirlwind». With two swings of her scythe, she rips through the creature's abdominal area. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to outright kill it. "Ah crap..." She thought as she began to second guess her decision to quickly attack it.

Kaya stared down the horned beast as she gripped her scythe tighter. Circling one another, this was a dance with death. One of them had to die in order for the other to live, as with the laws of nature. As the two had their stare down, a random foot flew past Kaya. With it, Kimi. As she flew past Kaya in slow motion, Kaya's eyes grew wider and with it, her mouth growing agape. She didn't really expect her duo partner to really jump into the mix - literally and figuratively. In one fell motion, Kimi smacked the creature backwards a bit. Following up her attack, Kaya took the opportunity to attack before the beast could react. With a quick, slice of her scythe, the boar blew up into a multitude of pixels. "Heh that was easy." She says with a grin on her face and a victory sign to boot.

"Yep, almost there," as she kept stretching her body while watching Kimi's attempts at the rock. It wasn't really entertaining of anything, but she wanted to see their progress so far. That was until Kimi's fateful moment, when she joins Kaya in the book of wipeouts. This wasn't just a simple wipeout, but a face plant that can be felt by everyone in the surrounding. Infact, it was worse that Kaya's initial face plant. It was as if Kimi was intentionally trying to outclass Kaya. But from Kaya could see, that wasn't really the case.

Kaya fell to the ground laughing hysterically. The site was stupendous. Normally Kaya herself would be in that situation, but for once she wasn't. She rolled on the ground gasping for breathe. Moments later, she finally calms down a bit and looks to Kimi. "Hurts don't it?" Kaya joked, cause she knew the pain all too well. "Anyways go rest up. I got this." She says as she cracks her knuckles. Suddenly, she swings her fist. The impact began to shatter the rock a bit. "Almost there." She thought as she looked at her fist.

Kaya slightly opens the the front door as she peeks into the store. "Hellooooo!" She exclaims as she waits for a response to come back. Not long after, she hears the voice a man singing inside. "Maybe he didn't hear me." She thought as she creaks the door open some more before taking a few steps forward.

Inside, she quickly stops a boy with black hair. His voice sounded full and almost like an adult. How old this person was, you couldn't really tell. She walks up to the mysterious person and casually opened her mouth. "You have an amazing voice." She spoke as if knowing the person already. "Could you sing me a song or two also?" She questioned as she sent her request over to the troubadour. An eager grin, plastered on her face. She was excited to hear what the musician was capable of.

Kaya slowly pushes her way through the door as she peeks inside to see if anyone's there. "Hello?" She says as she looks around the place. As she takes a few steps inside, she quickly spots a black maned man behind the counter. "Ah!" She jumps back for a moment before recollecting herself. "Scared me there for a sec. I thought no one was around. Anywho, could you cook me up some carrot cakes? I need the LD for a mission. Two would be fine. Here's the materials to make them already." Before the guy could really react to the job, Kaya turned back towards the door and went on her merry way. "Thanks! I'll come pick it up soon!"

"Huh? How's you know my..." Kaya, grew somewhat curious as to how the woman learned of her name. She hasn't even introduced herself. That was until she realized that once in a party, you could see each other's names. "Well I done goofed now didn't I? I never really told you my name. As you already know, I'm Kaya, and yes I'm a dps." She spoke with such confidence, a large smile was plastered on her face. She was proud to be a dps player. Even more so, she was proud of her weapon style as from what she's noticed so far, she's the only one of it's kind,  not that it's a unique or anything. "I'm mostly good for Aoe dps though... well in the future that is...  when I level up some more." She says as she pulls out "Le Chat Rouge" her incredibly large crimson scythe - for her size that is. Swinging it over her shoulder, she points the group to the Urbus' exit. "Shall we, ladies?" She says excitedly.

This was getting to be more troublesome than it really asked for. This would've been easier had the quest allowed them to hunt for boars or something, but nope. We had to scavenge for the materials. Being that there's two of them, they had to scavenge for 10 materials at that. As kaya groveled on the ground still somewhat trying to catch her breathe, he notices that Kimi manages to get another material. "Nice just need two more now." She says as she began searching the area also on her hands and knees like Kimi was doing. With luck, she could find one more material to add to the group. Sadly, that wasn't the case. After minutes upon minutes of searching. Nothing. It's like this place was either barren or luck just wasn't on Kaya's side today. "Let's try another spot," She told Kimi as she looked off into the distance, at an open field which seemed to be filled with flowers. Maybe there were even herbs there too.

Constantly tapping her feet restlessly, Kaya grew more impatient as she perused over the quests on the quest boards. She's done a couple already, but they weren't enough. Especially if a someone like her would like to join the frontlines. As she continued her little moment, she catches some interesting talk of a respawning field boss on this floor not too far from ear shot. "Oh! A field boss! That should do it!" She said as she turned her verdant green eyes to the two women who seemed to be getting ready for an adventure. Without a second thought, she began skipping to the two while waving her hand in the air hoping to catch their attention. "Heeeeeeeeyyyyy!" She shouted as she got closer to the two. "I heard you two are gonna fight a field boss, mind if I come tag along?" As she talked, she gave the two a gleeful smile. This was something new to her, so it was a new adventure. She was ecstatic to hear about the boss and had hoped the two would let her join.

Kaya closed her eyes as she rolled her neck and shoulders once more. The pain from her latest debacle had finally passed. Time to finally get back to work. That said, she slowly opened her eyes. Her beaming verdant green eyes gazed over the resilient rock. Kaya breathed out before breathing back in and tightly clenching her fist. She breathed out once more as she focused everything into her fist. She had to make this go faster. She can do this all day. It's just boring. That said, she breathed in once more before beginning to walk to the rock. She wasn't going to rush it or anything, but it was going to break. A few feet away from the boulder, she stops. She takes one more deep breathe in before finally stepping forward and punching the rock. With a loud thud and loud "HHAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Crack began to spread some more on the rock. "Damnit... I was hoping that would work." Dissatisfied with the results, she walked back to her spot under the tree, looking down at the ground in disappointment.

The two noobies slowly trudged through the entrance of the dark damp forest. Their piercing innocent eyes on a constant swivel for any on coming danger. They held each other's hands so, Unfortunately for the two, it wasn't long until they were quickly welcomed with an angry boar. Before they could react any further, the boar began charging at Kaya. Too bad for the boar, Kaya's well equipped. She dodges the boar's tusks gracefully and retaliates with her first sword art. "Whirlwind," She whispered under her breath as tightly grasped her scythe until it began to glow crimson red. "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" She yelled as she swung the massive scythe around. Once cutting the boar across it's body, then twice cutting the boar's body once more before tossing the the beast away from the duo. "Right, leave this to me," she said to Kimi, as she glared down the wild boar.

Kaya watched as Kimi punched the cracks of the rock, only to do a little bit of damage. Soon after, the noirette walked towards Kaya. She tried cracking a joke at Kaya, but much like their progress so far on the rock, it did minimal damage. She looked at Kimi with a scowl of disappointment and walked towards the rock. This time, no more running at it. No warmups or anything. She took a step forward and reeled her fist backwards. In fell swoop she swung it forward smacking the rock with all her might. The cracks made earlier began to spread throughout the rock some more. With a slight grin, she looks to Kimi, "heh.. progress."

Kaya still wasn't having any of it. She was still bummed she ran face first into the rock. I mean, this wasn't a new thing, but that was the first time that actually hurt. She kicks a nearby rock as she mumbles to herself and sits next to a tree, waiting for Kimi's turn. "stupid bug."

Kaya rotated her neck some more as she prepared for her second round with the rock. She cracks her knuckles as she clenches her fist. After making some distance, Kaya begins to rush the rock. Unfortunately this time, Kaya trips over a rock. Her face flew forward straight towards the rock. In one big thud, Kaya's face kissed the rock. A shock ran across her body hitting her very bones before finally landing on the ground. "Ow ow ow ow ow!" Kaya rolled over to her back as she held her face. Normally we don't feel pain, but I guess you could say there are some bugs in the system. That said, Kaya rubbed her eyes as tear began to fall a little bit. "Man that really hurt... ugh... Your turn I guess Kimi..." Kaya dragged her body to a nearby tree to relax just a little bit. She kept rubbing her face as if the pain would go away that way.

As kaya arrives at the gate, she hears a familiar voice just off in the distance. It was Kimi. "Oh wow, that was quick," she thought. As she began messing around with her inventory. She was getting ready for the adventure. Once Kimi was close enough, she waves at the noirette. "Hey Kimi! We just need 5 T1 materials, alright?" She looked Kimi with determination. Her scythe in her hands, she began marching out the gates. "Alright, unlike before we can get materials from mobs now. Before we could only get materials from non-combat ways." That said, Kaya looked around for her first target.

5 minutes turned to 10 minutes which then turned to 30 going by. Still, there were no mobs around to kill. "Damn... there's no mobs anywhere to farm. Say... Kimi, got a place to recommend? I figured killing mobs would make this quest go quicker, ya know?"

Kaya looked over to her partner, and seems like she's got no luck also with gathering, too. Kaya took a deep breathe as she looked up to the sky. You would never believe this place was a death game if you looked at the surroundings. The grass, the wind, it all felt real and beautiful, but in reality, it was a game about life and death.

After taking one more deep breathe, Kaya slowly gets up looks around her area. Off in the distance was Kimi, but other than that, there was nothing here except for grass. As kaya got up to her feet, she spots a glimmer next to Kimi's feet. She's seen that glimmer before. "Kimi wait! don't move!" She yelled as she ran over to the noirette, but before Kimi could dodge stepping on the material, she steps on it and it breaks into crystals. "Damn...." Kaya fell to her knees as she struggled to regain her breathe.

Kaya watched as Kimi punch the rock with all her might. Unfortunately  didn't do a lot of damage to it. The rougette then stepped up to the plate. She rotates her shoulders and neck to try to loosen her body - like it would've done anything. Kaya pulls on her gloves to tighten them some more before clenching her fist into a ball. For a few moments, Kaya breathed slowly. She eyed the rock as if it just took her family and she's there to get them back. As a wind blows by, she begins to rush the rock. Before she knew it, she was high in the air, her left leg extended in front of her. Within seconds, she smacks into the rock like a flying comet hitting the earth. Soon after, cracks began to spurt from the point the rougette hit. As Kaya lands back on her feet, she looks to Kimi and gives her a victory sign. "Hehehehe your turn." A grin plastered on her face. She knew for sure she did some damage on the rock.

"I really should finally unlock a profession already..." Kaya thought as she kicked a pebble across the pavement. Last time didn't work out so well, but this time had to be it. As the rougette groveled while walking forward, she runs right into a sign board. She quickly falls back to her bum while her hands catches the rest of her body from smacking the pavement. Slowly looking up, she sees the quest board. On it, «Earning a Living». "This has to be a sign." She thought as she picked herself up from the ground. After a quick dusting of herself, she looks back up to the quest board and quickly accepts the quest to be a cook.

After a few minutes of wandering, Kaya makes her way to a restaurant in the central market of town. It was huge and the food smelled amazing. "This should be the place," she thought as she pushed her way through the front door. Before she could even say anything, she's stopped by a short middle aged man with a tall white chef's hat on his head. "Ah, you must be here to learn how to cook, but first..." "Oh god please don't say let me take a selfie." Kaya thought nervously. "Go gather some materials for me, 5 should do just fine." "O-okay..."  "I should ask Kimi if she wants to join in." She thought as she began to open her messenger.

Hey Kimi! Up for doing the «Earning a Living» with me? I'll be waiting at the northern gate of the Town of Beginnings.

After sending her message, the rougette began making her way to the northern gate of town.

Not long after Kaya found some materials, Kimi herself also found sound. "Sweet! At this rate, we'll be done before sundown." As depressing as that sounds, this was the reality of the two. At their current levels, this would take a while, probably until sundown. But that wasn't going to stop them from grinding levels and materials.

The two spread out some more to look for other materials. As rougette wandered off, she trips and falls over. Before she knew it, her face was planted on the ground. Against her foot, was a root of some sort. "Ow... what was that?" She question as she looked at what seemed to be a root. It was glowing as if you could collect it. Thinking it was another jackpot, she quickly grabs hold of the root and pulls tightly until she manages to rip off a piece of the root. Unfortunately, the piece wasn't enough and the entire material shattered away into crystals. She falls back to the soft grass as she looks up to the sky. "Damn... I thought I had that."

While wandering the streets of urbus, a message came flying out of nowhere right at Kaya. She's never received one before so at first, she was taken aback by it, but as she read through it, she realizes it's from Kimi. "Oh! A quest huh?" Last she had heard from Kimi, she was already in the 2nd floor. I wonder if she's talking about the «Breaking the Unbreakable» quest. Without another hesitation, Kaya began making her way up the mountain and to the familiar hut. On the way, she complained about every from the distance of this quest to just how annoyingly monotonous this quest is.

As she reaches the top, she quickly spots Kimi. "Oh so you did mean this quest! Good thing I came, yeah sure I'll help." She quickly gave Kimi a grin as she flicks her fingers in the air, opening her inventory, and changing equipment.

So far, it hasn't really been a great start to this quest. Both Kimi and Kaya failed to find anything from the spot that Kaya suggested. Last time she was here, she managed to find a couple of materials here, but this time, no luck. Before Kaya could suggest another spot, Kimi grabs hold of Kaya's hands and gestures her to another location.

The eventually finds themselves closer to the forest. As Kimi suggests this spot, the rougette eyes the area. "I guess..." Kaya bit her lower lip as she looked down at the ground somewhat kicking the air. She was the higher level - kind of, yet she's the one being led around. As she kicks the air she spots a shiny flower right next to her feet. "Ooohh!!!! found one!" She exclaimed as she crouched down to grab the material. She then quickly stand up and faces Kimi, giving her a big grin on her face and victory sign. "9 more to go!"

Kaya took a deep breathe as she slowly worked up the courage to step out of the safe zone and into the wilderness that was the 1st floor plains. "Right... let's go." she says as she took her first few steps. It's been some time since she walked out here. That said, she drew her new crimson scythe, "Le Chat Rouge." You can never be too careful out there. "Come on, I know some spots to gather material." With confidence, she quickly grabs on to Kimi's hand and leads the way. Her hands were soft and pure. It's amazing how this game could replicate someone's person, down to the very cracks on their fingers.

After walking some distance away from The Town of Beginnings, the two arrive at a spot just in the the outskirts of a forest. There should be a bunch of materials here. She says as she begins to scour the area, but only to find nothing.

It was only for a moment, but to Kaya it was like hours. As the noobie turned towards Kaya, her short flowing hair blew in the wind as if in slow motion. A cute girl with glasses, stared at her with stoic green eyes and gave her a subtle "yes." Before she knew it, Kaya grew flustered. Her face turning somewhat red she tried letting out words, "W-w-w-wah wanna p-p-party up then?" This girl was cute, but then again, to Kaya, a lot of girls were cute. After falling aback for a moment, Kaya collects her thought before letting out an awkward cough.

"R-right... let's party up for this quest, it's boring doing it solo right? he..hehe" Kaya, scratched her head as she gave the player an awkward laugh. Hopefully she would say yes to the party up. After everything that's happened, she could use a friend in this godforsaken death game.

"You two must be here for the quest I put up." Before the two could interact with each other some more, the old man NPC began talking to the two as if knowing that they're going to be taking his quest. "It's a simple request, go out in the fields and each of you gather me 5 T1 materials. You can get them by collecting them from the ground." The old man kept speaking and before they knew it, the quest has already begun. 

"Uh.... I guess there's no more declining this quest now huh? Come on, it's easier when you're not a lone." Kaya, looked off in the distance as her eyes gazed over the entrance to the northern gates of the town.

@Kimi

As she bits on her lower lip slowly, kaya intense glares over the quest boards of the Town of Beginnings. She's taken a couple of quests here and there before and so far, they've all been unsuccessful, but she still kept faith. "One of these quests has to be the right way to start things off right?" she thought. As she perused over the quests, she casually lays a finger on her cheek. while he other hand laid crossed across her chest. After a lot of thought, she gave into one that seemed to be the right starting quest for noobies. "«The First Few Lessons are Free» huh? We'll see." She quickly takes the quest and begins to make her way to the NPC.

After 5 minutes of wandering and searching, Kaya, finally finds the old man NPC, Zackariah. Next to the NPC, she spots another noobie who seems to be starting the quest, too. "Hey! Are you taking the quest from the old man too?" She question the player in hopes that the answer was a simple "yes".
