Blood decided that she was too bored to continue watching the two players as they go on their journey to gather more materials. She too, needed materials that would be useful to herself when the time comes where she must craft poison for herself and she needs more equipment eventually, so she might as well get her hands on some materials for herself too. She knew that it would be harder for her because she's not doing this quest, and she's pretty sure that it's easier for players to get materials if they were in the process of completing this particular quest. Of course, she couldn't confirm, but this is what she thought after her experience with the quest and then after her material gathering sessions after the quest. Blood sighed, failing to spot anything as she stepped into the wilderness. She couldn't put her full attention in material gathering because she needed to keep distance from the other two.

  2. Blood pretended to go away, but she wasn't about to do anything like that. Blood decided that she would rather follow the two and see what will happen rather than leave the two to their own thing. She wanted to see if this new person would actually follow through with the orders that he had been given despite the fact that the person who gave the command wasn't directly with him. So far, it seemed that he is doing pretty well considering the fact that he's still going to the quest location. However, she didn't know whether he would give up once he's given a difficult task. Maybe she'll ask him to kill himself, but that's a risk, because he might prove to be a valuable minion under the command of her hands. With a mindless robot like him, she is sure to be able to use him as a tank.

  3. "Hey, where do you think you're going, friend? You might be just a bit bigger than me, but you ain't got the power to just leave like that. Do you know what Blood even wants you to do?" Michael blurted out, to Blood's annoyance. Michael is the one with the least power here, and yet he has the loudest, and biggest mouth. Blood sighed, giving him an evil stare, shutting him up before following Thicc, or Bates, as he would like to be called.

"He knows exactly what he's doing. Just follow him and help him out by keeping him company throughout the beginner quest that he's going to be doing." Blood exclaimed, watching as the man, Bates, continued to walk in the distance. "He might not be as strong as you now, but he will be in no time, so you better not get on his bad side. I'm going to go somewhere else for now."

  4. "You need to get stronger. I'm assuming that the last time you've never exited the safe zone because no one has ever told you to do so, right? I'm afraid that won't do if you are to stick around with me. We need to get you stronger, and that means you must start from the beginning, do you understand?" Blood began, staring sternly at the man who had now somehow become a soldier who was here to do her bidding. She had only spoken to him because she needed an assistant for a specific quest, and he was the only one around who looked quiet and strong enough to do anything.

Now, he was quiet, but not strong. He was far from it, in fact, he has never fought a boar before. However, he has the potential to become exactly what she needs, and she knew that his power would be enough to serve her during the time she spends in Aincrad.

  5. "You're going to need to get that costume sorted. You stand out like a bloody pillar, and it doesn't make me feel very good." Blood exclaimed, referring to the sleeveless blue tanktop that he always wore. Not only did it make him stand out, it also didn't provide him with any armor, not that it's a bad thing necessarily, for when the time comes where she has to end his life. When that happens, he'll be such an easy target it won't even take a second. Blood liked to lurk in the shadows, even though she had yet to obtain the sneaking skill that would be crucial for her build. The time would come when she finally finishes her build and allow her plans to come into reality.

"Come on, man. Your appearance really matters sometimes," Michael blurted out, flexing his biceps as he did so, "You ought to let out your face. I'm sure it's not even that bad looking, everyone has their positives, after all, even if you are some sort of psycho." He laughed loudly, holding his stomach as he seemed completely clueless to the quietness of everyone else. Blood sighed, kicking him once again, shutting him up as he realized that Blood was getting a bit frustrated at the amount of talking coming from the buff man. "Fine, you can walk along and do your own thing, I'm gonna go talk to some other people who actually have things to say. I'll be joining you later." Michael said quietly, to Blood's relief, he began to walk faster and further away from her. Blood was honestly getting a bit tired from all this walking, and by slightly looking around, she could see that a lot of people had already decided to leave, and the party was narrowing down. She would probably have left too, if she didn't need to see this individual with her own eyes. Blood clutched the katana by her side, carefully shifting it in case an attack came, but soon released it after realizing that a single player killer will not have the courage to attack the party of more than ten individuals unless he wanted to kill himself.

    --------------------

Michael, on the other hand, had no plans to simply stay besides Blood and walk in silence. The only reason that he even stays around the quiet, silent girl is because she is always there, walking slowly and quietly, always observing. She was cunning and a survivalist. If he stayed with her and got on her good side, in addition to proving his worth, he can definitely survive until the end of the game. He was not very intelligent, and he knew that he can be annoying at times, traits that would get one killed in a game like this. There are times, such as this, when he just refuses to associate with Blood because of her weird nature, and he finds her boring at times like this, because she does not open her mouth for casual conversation. Luckily for her, there were other conversations that were going on around him that he can interrupt without much consequence.

Walking up to a brown-haired man talking to a blonde and a child, he began to speak, "Arresting him without hearing his side of the story? What do you think a player killer that sees ten players chasing his butt is gonna do, begin talking? Nah, fam. He gonna pull out whatever the heck weapon he uses, and he gonna spank you with it. He has twenty-seven kills under his belt... so adding a bit to that won't be that hard to him I think." Michael exclaimed, giving a scary, dark face, before lighting up suddenly and giving the three players a grin. "You all don't look that strong. A female, a child, and a skinny lil fella. If you all need a wall or something like that, come behind me. I'll protect you guys from any troubles. Oh and you too, the guy next to the girl." Michael announced with his big hands on his wrist and a huge grin on his face.

How many players? Only twenty-seven. That's far from the amount that should be considered worrying. The players are in shock from someone killing twenty-seven players... now imagine far into the future, when Blood would murder in cold blood waves after waves of players both high in level and low in level. Aincrad has a new threat, and that threat is herself, Blood... named after what she likes to see most. Of course, she was no idiot. She knew fully awarethat she cannot begin her murder spree until after she had leveled to one of the top players, but that doesn't mean she wasn't interested in the world of the criminals here. One day, she will surpass all of them, especially this one who had only killed such a small amount of players. Blood sighed, scanning the area for who looked strong and who didn't, but you can't really tell that stuff in this world because everyone seemed to have extravagant gear. She could only assume that the two players speaking to the rest of the players were the powerful ones, since they are the ones who organized the whole plan to stop this player killer. This player killer didn't get her interested. No... it was the possibility that she could find out more about the guild that had caught her ears since the entrance into the game - the laughing coffin. It was a guild that she wanted to join once she was stronger, become one of the key leaders within the guild, destroy the hearts of many players and send them into impending doom, and... and rob players of their friends and families... and... and, feel good while doing it. Blood could hardly contain the excitement that she was receiving just from thinking about it. And finally, she would tear apart the guild from inside out. Why? Who knows? Blood is unpredictable. She'll probably just do it for the fun of it.

"My, my. Been a while since I last saw a grin like that." Blood heard from next to her. Michael. He was a green-haired punk, one of those dudes who constantly felt the need to emphasize the engine that his motorcycle possesses in the real life, not that she knew him from real life. He had gone to the gym every day since five years before entering the game, and the result was a huge dude who was definitely intimidating. Plus, he liked to talk, while Blood didn't, which is why she decided that she'll have him with her in case she needed someone to obtain information or the sorts. In the end, though, one simple sword art from behind the back after being paralyzed from a potion, and he'll be dead. Gone from existence, just like the rest of her victims. "Seems like you're really interested in this one. It's the first day in forever that you look like you don't want to kill someone. Look, man. I know we aren't on the tightest terms, but I'm just hoping we can get along so you don't decide to kill me for no reason. You're freaking crazy fam. I guess we should sign up for a team, right?"

Blood shot her a threatening look and pointed at the blonde female who had been talking earlier. The blonde's team would get her closest to player killer that had been rumored to be associated with the laughing coffin, and she needed to find out more about this guild and the procedures of joining it. "The blondie? Man, seems like you and I have some similarities. That girl is smoking in that armor. You think I'll be able to get some action with her?"

    "Shut up."

The green-haired man scratched his tall, green mohawk before flexing his muscles really tight and walking up to the blonde girl with Blood following closely behind. "I sure hope you, fine lady, don't mind having us along with the trip. I'm Michael. You can call me big guy, or bodybuilder, or the great wall of china, or even big baby, but I'm telling ya, you definitely won't mind having us on the squad. We'll be an asset for days. Anyways, I was also wondering if I can get y-" He was rudely interrupted by a small little forceful kick from behind on his leg, which should been have been fairly undetected. "Oh yeah. The hooded girl? She's my buddy, Blood, and she'll also be interested in going with us."

(Hope a side character can join in too. If not, I'll have a lot of editing to do lol)

Blood and Michael joins Lessa's team.

  7. Blood walked towards the village that would give her the quest. Supposedly, someone in the village was extremely sick and needed a medicine from the nepents in the forest. It was not in Blood's nature to help out people like this, but they were NPCs, so it didn't really matter because they were bots. If they were real players, Blood would not even hesitate to ditch their requests. Nevertheless, Blood needs the skill points from these quests, and so she cannot simply cannot ignore the requests of these NPCs. Although it goes completely against Blood's position on morality, she must sacrifice her own self well-being in order to get stronger. That is how this game worked, and that is how Blood must become stronger and stronger until she is completely unbreakable. When that happens, she shall rule Aincrad, and defeat her father once and for all. Blood smiled, already dreaming of the day.

  8. Blood's eyes felt pained under the light of the sun that was raining down upon the world. She hated how a lot of the quests that were given to players had to be completed during broad daylight because that was when the quest givers were awake and ready to hand out quests to incoming players. Besides, she didn't have the resources to see in the darkness at the moment, so going at quests in the darkness might harm her accuracy, which she would not want. Blood sighed, so perhaps it was best to complete quests at the moment in broad daylight instead of deep darkness. Today, she would go attempt the <<Secret Medicine of the Forest>> quest, in which she was confident that it would end up with a quest completion for herself along with the skill point bonus that would come with the quest completion. Blood sighed, walking back into the safe zone from her morning hunting session.

It was time for her to craft again. At the moment, she was really limited to what she can or cannot craft. She wanted some poison so she can apply them and test them out on her next quest, but if she can't craft them today, she'll just have to go on ahead without them because there is no time to waste. Blood's red eyes glared into the darkness as she woke up from bed. She remembered that she had crafted before sleeping the other day, and now, she was on her way to craft once again. This time, she tried something different. Instead of heading straight in, she handpicked the mushroom that she thought was the best one she picked a couple of days ago. It was stored and salted, so that it was fresh for her to craft. With a determined frown, she set the materials on her table and began her crafting session. First, she grinded the mushrooms in a bowl, and made sure that the powder that was made as a result was of fine quality suitable for the potions that she would produce. They were top tier potions, or salves at the very moment, and she will certainly not keep anything that is not of top quality for the class that it was classified under. Handling the liquid that she would use with fine detail, she blended the mushroom powder and watched as the liquid hardened, and soon, it was squished together into the shape of a salve. Blood smiled... she had produced something, but it wasn't what she wanted. It was not a poison salve, but it was a health-giving salve. At the moment, the HP recovery would help her out, but 20 health really isn't much. She'll keep it for emergencies though. Next, she had one more crafting session left and she got down to it without hesitation. Unfortunately, she had failed to craft anything on this one, but like yesterday, she was able to save her mushroom powder for a crafting session of another day.

Blood walked into her new shop that had been generated for her. It was a very good place, perfectly suitable for someone like her. With this, she will finally be able to create poisons and damage potions that will help her with her quests and the sorts. Although none of the boosts given by potions or crystals are that significant to the well-being of players as a majority of players don't really use them, it will definitely help her overcome some of the more tougher bosses early on, so she wouldn't have to waste time getting them done later. Plus, she would be able to focus a lot on other skills related to luck or something of the sorts, so she won't have to invest as much as she would need to on her weapon skills. Of course, doing multiple crafts a day would kill her material supply, but in the end, it would all be worth it because she'll be able to collect the biggest potion/crystal inventory known to man. Eventually, once she gets herself started off with her own potions, and have more than she could possibly use, she'll even start doing some black business on the market, maybe tear the alchemists off of their business. Blood looked around: already she could see that the place would get very messy very soon, so she'll need to get submissive maid to do her organization instead of herself. Well, that was enough thinking about future plans, because all of that stuff was far into the future. For now, she wanted to focus on the present, and she wasn't very strong at the moment. Soon, however, she will reach the destination that she wanted to reach... and kill just for the sake of it. Unfortunately, she was unable to craft anything for her first time due to how low her stats were. It was to be expected, though, because she had just started and anything good that might come her way right now is due to be beginner's luck. She didn't want that... She wanted to craft to her heart's content once she gets a good supply of materials.

    DO NOT ENTER

That is the sign that is displayed to anyone that stumbles across this hidden place in the corner of the safe zone. No one really knows what is going on down there, or what is being produced, but an evil laughter can be heard occasionally,  and glass shatters can be heard at times as well. Besides, it was obvious that the sign was enough evidence that the owner of the place does not wish for anyone to enter the small, poorly made shack. Although it is classified as a shop, the shop is closed 24/7, meaning that whatever was inside is not for sale, but probably for the personal use of whoever was in charge. No one really knows who owns the place, as no one has really seen him or her enter or leave the place. Perhaps there is even a back entrance to the mysterious place. Not that most players really cared about what goes down in there, as long as its not really hurting anyone... but is it really? Is it not? Who knows? There's nothing that can be done about it.

So what does it look like in the inside? Not that it really matters to you, because you'll never enter this secret base. This place is secluded from the outside, and should not be entered at any point. For your imagination, I can describe to you what usually should never be described through words. If one manages to walk into the base, he or she will be greeted by extreme darkness. It is practically impossible to see into the main crafting area due to the blackness that shielded the privacy of the person in charge and the contents within the small, worn-out building. Although it looked abandoned, and uncleaned from the outside, the inside was a complete paradox to the image that it gave off from the outside. It is not filthy, nor filled with dirt, but it was clean, and organized to the point where every material was kept at top-notch condition, and every single potion was labelled with complete preciseness. This was the lab of a killer, and a killer has no time to keep everything in track and kill at the same time. This is why eventually, the owner will recruit a maid for the maintenance of the whole place, but she needed someone that she can trust, not just any random person.

On the left side of the room, there is a case for poisons that had already been created for future uses, and on the right side, there were damage boosts and other boosts in the form of potions, although there is always consistently more poisons than potions that is in existence in that very room. The middle of the room was a table with an alchemy set and in the far back of the room, there is a cabinet with empty glass bottles and cases that can be used for storing the things that she creates. In a small corner, there is a bed that is comfortable enough for her to sleep in without being disturbed in the middle of the night. Knowing the securities of the first floor safe zone, she'll be able to sleep knowing that her safety is guaranteed.

It was about time for her to leave the place. The time had come for her to return to her usual place in the safe zones of the first floor. She sighed, returning from the way that she had come from originally, and checking the walls to see if there were anything that could be of use for herself. Unfortunately, there were nothing on the walls that could remotely be used for poison, so she shook her head and carried on with her day. The next day would be filled with adventures too, and she might even set up her own crafting area, so she would finally be able to start crafting poisons for herself. It would be a "shop", but the chances are, she won't be crafting for anyone, so it might as well be her own personal station or home. Blood smiled, it was finally time for her to burst onto the scenes with her poison.

Blood wished she had more things to do while she was going on material gathering sessions like this. She had heard of something recently that would allow her to get materials while having someone to talk to or be there... it was a quest for a familiar that could also boost your stats. Once she sets her looting skill high, she will be able to easily get a familiar and than have a companion for boring moments such as the one that she is having at the moment. Blood sighed, the thought of having a snake or an owl to converse with her was definitely far into the future, but she wished that she could have the familiar now, because then she would have people to talk with. She could also get someone with a mind similar to hers, who can help her not be bored. Blood smiled, she had gotten anther mushroom.Materials: 2

Blood continued on with her mission. Well, it wasn't really her mission, but it was something that she was forcing herself to do because she knew that if she didn't do it now, her future will be very difficult. Her katana build was highly revolved around the use of poison, so without it, she would be missing a part of her combat style. Without her venom, her name would not be Blood. The extent to which Blood needed such a thing as part of her style was extremely necessary. She sighed, heading deeper into the cave as she did so before looking around and scanning the area. Unfortunately, Blood was unable to find anything in the darker area. Therefore, she must head even darker, perhaps even lurking closer to where the third boss of the starter quests appeared. Once she went into an even deeper area, she began to look around.

Blood continued on. Her face was filled with frowning as she looked around at the surface of the cave. It seemed that players had actually come to this part of the cave and picked off whatever was left in the surface. It was definitely that way because Blood was unable to find any sort of materials that might be useful for her poison making. It was time for her to go deeper into the cave because if she goes deeper, it should be easier for her to find materials because less players would be brave enough to pick materials. Blood sighed, her eyes red as she began her walk. The darkness was already engulfing her, and she realized that she could not actually see around her. With her accuracy boost, she should be able to see things easier, but she still was unable to see most of the details, which is not good.

Blood took one look into the cave and there it was. The material that she had been looking for for such a long time was finally in front of her, and it had been quite easy to find too. It wasn't surprising though, because not a lot of players stuck around here to search for these caves. It was much safer for players to find materials in the plains of the first floor than here in the cave where any dweller can attack players within at any time. Blood was actually taking a risk at the very moment because she could be attacked by a creature amongst the darkness at any time when she's still recovering from the previous fight. Even so, Blood was sure that she would be able to take anything on the first floor at this point, so it should be fine even if she was attacked.

Along the way, Blood decided that she would go ahead and search for some materials as well. There was no point of her wasting time, so as she makes her way to the cave, she might as well just look and scan for materials along the way. Apparently, today was not a lucky day, and she was unable to find anything that was note-worthy as she walked through the fields that would eventually lead to the cave with all the mushrooms that she wanted within it. She sighed, finally reaching the dark cave that she had been just a day ago. it was quite dark in there, but the mushrooms should be lit up if she just stayed within the surface. Besides, she didn't have the energy to fight anything yet so it was dangerous for her to head down deep into the darkness. There, her vision would be harmed.

Blood sighed, looking down at another mushroom, but saw that the mushrooms around were of no use because they were all not poisonous. Blood sat down on the grass, thinking deeply as she closed her eyes. She wanted to find out exactly where she could find any sort of poison mushrooms, because it was obvious that there were none around here that even had the smallest of poisons within them. They were all useless to Blood, and she would not use anything that is unnecessary. Where would there be a lot of poison mushrooms? Obviously, it would be far darker for these poison mushrooms to grow... somehwere like... somewhere like the caves. That's the darkest place in this entire floor, the cave systems of this place. That is exactly where poison mushrooms would grow for hungry, unwary travelers. As soon as this hit her, Blood started walking towards the cave where she had finished her third beginner quest in.

Blood realized that mushrooms in this floor was actually quite difficult to obtain through casual material gathering. They were probably the hardest materials to obtain on this floor, and it would certainly be a drag for her to go out and attempt to gathering materials. For now, she must continue to strive on despite the fact that it was extremely hard to find any sort of mushrooms that were useful. Blood sighed, looking around to check for any nearby mushrooms. With a smirk, she noticed that there were, indeed, mushrooms around. Without inspection, Blood randomly bent down and picked one up before seeing that it was useless. "Not poisonous. This is the type of materials that people would use for other stuff, like health and the sorts." She told herself, tossing the material away as she did so. It shattered into millions of pieces and it was a wasted material, but Blood didn't care.

  21. After the fish was caught, Blood threw the dead thing to the fisherman who had requested it. This would end the final quest of the beginner's quest series, and this would mean that she could finally get to killing more powerful things. This type of things that she had right now is completely useless to herself, and she needed more skill points, so she would need to get done more quests. Right now, she needed not only to get quests done, but she also needed poisons for herself so she can use them to deal grave danger to enemies. That means, she must gather materials so she can mass produce these poisons for herself. Blood sighed, leaving the fisherman with his newly caught fish before heading to the damp swamps where there were usually a lot of mushrooms for players to pick by themselves. She hated these material gathering sessions, but they were necessary.

Blood peeked over at the health counter to see how much health she had inflicted to see that it was actually quite a good amount. The katana attacked had took down the fish's health all the way down to less than health. If she lands one more attack with the exact same sword art, the fish would be dead. She needed to be cautious and listen to her environment, because the fish could leap out and attack her at any moment. Pete appeared to be quite defensive as well, scanning the calm waters. Suddenly, Blood heard movement... a small ripple as if a feather had landed on the water. Of course, it was not a feather, but it was the fish coming out of the water. Had Blood not been concentrating, she wouldn't have heard the water, and she wouldn't have struck it before it could attack her. Blood smiled, it was over.

Finally, she realized that if she simply allowed the fish to come at her, she could dodge the attack and land an easy attack when it is most vulnerable. Blood smirked, watching as the sword-fish came charging at her. The thing was, the sword-fish would always attack in a straight line because it is a weapon in itself. It cannot wield itself, therefore its attack is so predictable that it was funny for Blood. As the sword fish came, Blood simply walked a step to the left and watched as the sword-fish missed and overshot its target. Immediately, with a quick response, Blood swung down with her katana, land a heavy strike with one of her new sword arts. The long, straight sword attack landed with a thud, and the fish was sent right back into the water. It was angry, and that was when Blood knew that she might have to be cautious now.
