  1. Spencer turned to the noise that sounded close to him, and gripped his mace, he was ready to attack what ever he needed to fight. He slowly creep-ed forward, but the creature was still running, faster and faster still. Spencer quickly gave up the stealth idea and started to run after it as fast as he could. He was crashing through branches and trees until he came upon a cave, and gulped a little bit. The game he was in was notorious for making him fall into traps and other annoying things, so he was not wanting to go back into that. Come on game, it has been a while since I fell into a trap, I really don't want to possibly go back to that, please be nice to me. He pleaded to the game in his thoughts, even though he knew for a fact that he wouldn't be able to do anything with just willing ti to be easy. He sighed softly and slowly started to walk forward, the sunlight shining some of the cave and making it glisten softly. "Doesn't look too bad..."

  2. He was able to relax for a moment and lean back against the counter he was cooking on, and smiled a bit at the work he had already been able to do at the time he was at. He had to wait for the cream to solidify, the ice cream was done, the sauce was close to be done. He was at an okay moment right now. He looked over at Hestia who seemed to also be relaxing, which made Spencer nervous again. She had made so much, yet she was able to sit around and not do anything for the moment. He looked back at his food, and decided to finish up what he had. He took the ice cream out of the ice and started to scoop it into the glass bowl, making i look the best that he could make it. He then got the whip topping okay and grabbed a spoon, making a small mound on top of it, looking over at the caramel sauce when he was done. He picked up the hot pan and set it next to him, pouring it into a small container. "Okay, I'm almost done, now just to finish it." He said to himself.

  3. Spencer smiled and brought over a glass bowl, searching for a scooper. He found one and placed it on the counter, walking to the caramel and fudge mixture. He placed a bit of sugar into it, and tasted it. He thought something was missing and he couldn't think of it, then he remembered the Pecans. His eyes went wide and placed the ice cream back into the the chest and found some Pecans. He began by taking a hammer to it and crushing it down to larger bits. He then placed it into the mortar bowl and began to crush them into small pieces. He looked over at Hestia who was watching him again in slight confusion, but she went to work again after a moment. He got a bit smug at the idea that Hestia was watching him and didn't know what he was making. He sighed with a soft smile and got the nuts to a fine powder and poured some into the caramel, tasting it after a moment and smiling at the taste. The sauce was almost done, now it was just waiting.

  4. Spencer placed the bowl back into the ice and placed another bowl infront of himself, a bowl that seems like it could be placed over a fire to warm up, which made him think of the sauce he needed to make. "Hot Caramel dressing, him. Okay lets go." He was feeling okay about his food, but was still worried about Hestia, who was making some sort of gravy now, she seemed very smug with herself, which made Spencer very nervous. He sighed and went back to his station, picking up a cube of beautifully made caramel, he smiled and gave a small piece to Noot, and got to work. He cut up small pieces of it and scattered it across the bowl, and then put few pieces of the thick fudge in. He needed to thicken it up a bit. He put some Cocoa powder into and set it over the fire, slowly stiring it around. He let it simmer for a bit and checked on the whip and the ice cream, the ice cream seemed solid now. He smiled and took it out of the chest and set it on the counter, ready to start scooping it.

  5. Spencer looked at Noot, who was slowly trying to grab a piece of the strawberries. He gasped and shot back, knowing that Spencer caught him. Noot fell and poured some of the heavy whipping cream into the milk, which made Spencer salty. However that reminded him of a recipe he made a while ago. He put Whip topping, Milk, Sugar, and Vanilla all into a bowl and started to mix it fast. He knew time was slowly starting to tick away, and he didn't want to be caught with half of a recipe. He, after a tiring time fo whipping the ingredients, it was to soft peaks and he put it in an ice chest to keep cool. He looked back at Hestia who was cutting and masking potatoes, and he thought for a moment she was making a multiple course meal, which made Spencer VERY nervous, knowing that he couldn't really compete with that. He sighed and focused back on his food. He looked at the ice cream base in the ice and took it out, the stuff was starting to solidify luckily.

  6. Spencer sighed and cracked his knuckles, and realized that Whip Cream doesn't exist in a can to spray on... you had to make it yourself. "[censored]." He muttered and tried to desperatly think of how to make whip cream, thinking of maybe making a sundae instead of just a thing of ice cream. He bit his lip and thought for a moment, looking over at Hestia cooking. She seemed to be making some dish with what looked like Turkey and Oregano, but he didn't know exactly what it could be. Not knowing what she is making, and how far along she is, is making me verrry nervous. I'm just hoping I can [censored] together some whip topping and a sauce so I can get this moving along. I think I might make something with caramel to go on top with the whip, and get some pecans to crush up to dust on top, but I need to figure out how to make the Whip topping. He sighed softly and looked back at his station, he wasn't really having any motivation to make anything, but he had to find a recipe for the whip to keep himself back on track.

  7. "Wow Why am I doing this to myself. I literally hate questing by myself, yet I make myself do this all the time. Am I masochistic? Dear lord I hope not, that would be weird to talk to a therapist, or anyone for that matter, about that. All I know is that I NEED to level up more and actually not be such a weakling like I am in the guild. I'm the lowest level, and the build I'm going for is already existing and it is Hestia, I'm like her really poor understudy that can't do anything but yell and cry. Ugh, Okay Spencer get yourself together. You are going to get Martial Arts today, I promise myself that, and lets hope that this goes well enough that I'm not complaining the entire time and wanting to die. Just kidding too late..... Man I need to get out more I'm just talking to myself.... I'm really weird aren't I?" Spencer shook his head and looked at the Boulder in front of him, ready to start this quest, he thinks.

  8. He bit his lip and forced the ideas of emotions and Ryo out of his mind, he really didn't want to keep thinking about all of that again, he just got it all off of his chest to Teion at the party, he didn't need to go back to that part of his personality. Noot was walking around, but let out a distressed noise. Spencer's eyes lit up and he ran to the Penguin, who was squeaking and pointing at a creature running away, which he thought might be the thing that he had to kill in order to do this quest. "Noot are you okay?!" He said concerned and picked up the Penguin, who curled into his body and Nooted, sounding Stressed. He cooed and rubbed his back, slowly getting up and placing Noot on his backpack. "Lets get that thing." He said and looked at his Penguin, who noded and got a serious look on his face. Spencer crouched down to see where it would have gone, but he didn't really know where the creature could of gone/. That was till he head a rustling to his far left.

  9. Spencer sat on a log for just a bit longer, Noot was running around and it seemed like he was actually having a good time, which was nice because Spencer was not really. After everything that has happened in his life, he was annoyed by how he handled all of his emotions, and he was annoyed how he just handled everything in his life. It was like he couldn't control his emotions all that well when it came to everything that he was thinking. It also seemed like he was a mess. He hated feeling like he was out of control of his emotions, and he had felt like that before, and it was not fun. With everything happening after Ryo and Teion, he was wanting a fresh start. Maybe doing quests by himself was what he needed to actually move on with his life and get to functioning like a normal person again. Oh god I hope Teion didn't say anything to Ryo about that night.... I wouldn't be able to see him again if she did. I'm just finally getting over Ryo and I can't let myself get emotional over him again.

  10. Spencer smiled softly when Shi said that he was going to see his family again. He greatly missed his family and friends, and he wanted to get back to them. But he knew that if he didn't get out there, and possibly start to help out, he would not be able to get to anyone he needed to get to. He sighed a minute but quickly got rid of that sadness after Shi asked a question about his hobbies. He thought for a moment and smiled a bit. "I love to do American Sign Language. I also love history, singing, listening to music, reading, writing, hiking, and kayaking. Oh! Also swimming, water is great." He laughed a bit and blushed, but he forced it away from his face. He thought for a moment, and decided to push back at Shi for the same question. "What about you? You seem to like to get to know people more than I do, you seem a hell of a lot more social than I could ever be." He smiled and looked at the man, he wished to be able to be social, but he knew that possibly wont happen.

    @Shi

  11. Spencer listened to what Teion had to say, and his heart hurt at the thought that she had so much pain in her life her on SAO already, and she didn't deserve any of it. The compliment that she threw at him made him blush and smile. He was trying his best to understand everything that she was going through, and had gone through. The problem was, there was just so much built up emotion that she had not fully let out of her system yet. It seemed at those she blamed herself for many things, and other things it killed her that she couldn't control. He gripped back on her hand and slowly stood up, helping her to her feet.

    "Teion, I'm not going to act like I can be fully empathetic to what has happened in your life, and I'm not going to act like I understand everything that you are going through. But I want you two know two things." He let her hand go and picked up Noot, who waved at her. "One, it isn't your fault. People react how ever they want to, and you can't be there to pick up the pieces and yell at yourself for breaking them. I know this is all easier said than done, but your happiness matters too, and I think I'm allowed to say that and mean it because you are blaming yourself for how I'm feeling tonight." He cocked his eyebrow at her and gave a soft smile.

    "And Two, following your heart is a hard path, but just think. Your heart can hurt, but at least you have one Teion. Many people toss theirs out, but you held on to it through the pain, you kept it with you even though it hurt you. Think of it as a rose, the thorns might hurt, but getting to that beautiful bloom is something the thorns will be worth for." He blushed at his monologue and looked at the door.

    "I'm going to take a while to be better, and I know it seems like I'm all fine and dandy, but I think I pushed it aside because I didn't want you feeling bad as well," he gave a sad chuckle at that comment, "and I don't want you to blame yourself anytime you see me a little sad or upset.. but I know that is pretty difficult to stop so I can't blame you for that." He laughed a bit happier and held Noot a bit closer.

  12. Spencer gnawed on his lip for a bit, not knowing exactly what he should be doing. All the people around him were much higher level than he was, and knowing that, it made him a bit anxious to the fact that maybe he could be swept under the rug, and maybe even injured very badly. He gave a soft shudder at the possibility that he could be killed, but he had one more safe guard up his sleeve just in case something goes very bad. He sighed a bit and gnawed his lip a bit harder and shook his head, trying to get out of the mind set that he might be injured or even hurt very badly. He looked at everyone, getting the feeling that he was very weak around them, and tried his best to force that idea, and other ideas swarming in his head, out and into the world around him, he did not want to deal with them anymore. He sighed and stayed back for a bit, he didn't want to get in the way of possibly anyone who could really damage the monster.

  13. He walked with the man and listened to his side of everything, and he gave a soft sigh inwardly, he was getting over his nerves that were building up, at least for the moment he was. "Thanksgiving has always been my favorite, a nice time to see all of my family, well it was." He bit his lip and looked down at the ground before shaking his head and blushing a bit. "Sorry about that, I didn't mean to get all depressing and everything on you." He smiled a bit and shrugged. He also heard the question that Shi proposed about why he had waited so long to also start on his journey in the game, and it took a bit of thought to understand why it did take him so long. "I guess... I guess I just had enough. For a moment I had just stood around and watched the world around me slowly changed and update as the game progressed, but I decided that that might be not enough, that maybe I should do something with my time here and try my best to help out, any way that I could." He smiled at his explanation, he was starting to understand his own motives a bit more. "So Shi... After my long winded explanation, now I tag you in to talk, give me a random conversation topic."

    @Shi

    (dude you good <3 )

  14. Spencer began to walk out of the store and looked around the third floor, he used to come here a lot, used to. He sighed a bit and nuzzled Noot a bit closer and set off into the woods. He decided to go out and figure it all out with what he was suppose to kill..... but he had no idea where he was really going. He groaned a bit and checked his map, but his map was not doing the best and showing him where he was actually going to have to go. He shrugged a bit and decided that he was okay with walking around aimlessly if that means he can spend some quality bonding time with Noot, and also clear his head a bit. He was planning on doing at least two more quests, considering that he did not find any more quests that he should be doing. He sighed a bit and sat on a log, setting Noot down on to the ground. He remembered back on to everything that he had done in a little bit of time. He had finally gotten over his first love of this game, made some friends, and worked on his mental health.

  15. Noot! The penguin called out and pointed to the NPC that Spencer was looking for. Spencer smiled at the penguin and began to walk towards the man and the woman couple that was getting everything read at the counter, selling small items to players who were in desperate need of these items. "Looks like the place." He mumbled to Noot and walked in the shop. He heard a little bell chime and the couple turned to look at Spencer and the Penguin. They smiled at him and waved him over to the counter, looking him up and down. "Hello traveler, would you happen to need any of the items that we posses here?" Spencer shook his head and accepted the quest that was beeping on his HUD screen. The couple's look and body posture changed. "You would like some custom made gear? We could help you out, we would just need some materials to make it work." Spencer nodded and scooped up his penguin, who was becoming very dangerously close to messing with the blades.

  16. With the fudge and strawberries out of the way, Spencer leaned down and opened an ice chest, there were pieces of ice, cream, milk, sugar, and a couple other things in there. He shrugged a bit and brought everything up, beginning to ship the cream. Noot cheered for Spencer and snuck a piece of fudge, dancing at the great taste of it all. Spencer laughed and mixed the cream and sugar and mix together, making a decent ice cream base, but it had to freeze for a moment before it would actually become ice cream. Spencer place the mixed base int  the ice cooler and set it down, going back to his strawberries and fudge. He started to press the strawberries and fudge together, the strawberry's juice oozing out of the fruit, being slightly soaked up by the fudge. Spencer put the juice and fudge into a bowl, putting small pieces of the strawberries in there as well. Spencer glanced at Hestia, and she was watching him as he cooked, which made him a tad bit uncomfortable.

  17. The Clock chimed, and Spencer gasped, the competition was finally starting. He bit his lip and all of the sudden felt overwhelmed with everything he had already looked over and knew what he was going to do. Hestia was moving effortlessly across the kitchen set up, mixing a couple things into a bowl, while something started to warm up over a fire. Spencer was getting very overwhelmed, but his Penguin Nooted at him softly, trying to get his attention. The penguin smiled and nooted, trying to make him laugh by running around. Spencer laughed a bit and calmed down, looking around the room, he decided on what he was going to make. Home made ice cream it is, but I gotta make this [censored] good. He thought for a moment and started to slowly move, picking up items and laying them out, he began to cut up some strawberries and break pieces of fudge into small pieces, the size of chocolate chips. Spencer tried his best to ignore Hestia and what she was doing.

  18. Spencer started to investigate the kitchen, he loved every single piece he found, the different cooking ingredients and equipment. He ran his fingers other things, and investigated how everything worked to make sure he knew what he was doing. Spencer set the Penguin on to the counter next to me, who quickly started to waddle around and investigate everything that he could lay his eyes and wings on. Spencer chuckled a bit and looked over at the ingredients, thinking about what he might make with everything he could see. Spencer was awoken from his cooking high from Hestia, who cleared her throat and pointed to the master grandfather clock, signaling when the match would start. Oh god I forgot this was a competition, I'm not ready, I'm not ready, I'm not ready.... Welp I do not have choice on this matter. He sighed a bit and got ready to start cooking. He did not realize this, but there were other people watching, NPC's and God NPC's alike, it is a good thing he did not see them.

  19. Spencer let his finger tips slowly run across the edges of the tables, and he smiled a bit more, knowing that this place was created by the person who trapped them all in here was not that bad right at the moment, the beauty was breathtaking, so he could deal with it, for a moment atleast. He stopped looking at the decor of the mansion, and began to walk forward more, Hestia was farther down the hall way, and took a Right. Spencer jogged forward and looked down the hallway, and a glorious kitchen went forward in front of him, and his jaw dropped. The things that were in the kitchen, they were things that Spencer had never seen before in any cook shop he had ever entered. The pristine items that he could touch were gorgeous, and he was so happy that he was able to stand in the kitchen for a moment, but then he realized why he was really there and his heart sank for a moment. He sighed softly and walked forward, looking over everything that was in the two kitchen stations, they were identical.

  20. Spencer ascended the steps, and he could tell he was starting to get a bit nervous again. He was going into a place he had never been, seeing people he has never met, and competiting in something he did not know how to do all that well.. he was more than just a little nervous. This is going to go so badly... Wait no I can not start thinking like that or it is going to go bad, I just need to get through it and understand that I can possibly do this, even if I am facing against a goddess with unknown amount of power... Good pep talk me. Spencer shook his head at the idea of it all, and started to look at the building they were in. The beginning area of it looked like an actual mansion made by the gods, it was breathtaking, and also MASSIVE. He smiled a bit and looked around, the place was beautiful with its gold embroidered items, and the intricate design of the walls and pillars supporting the house. Spencer's breath was taken away for a little bit, and he was happy to be able to be there for a moment.

  21. Spencer had no idea why he was waiting so long to do, well, basically any quest that he was suppose to, but he waited way to long, not he was very over leveled for many of these quests, and he was not too happy about it. He knew that the quests were going to be really boring now, so he was not in the mood for all of it. The only thing that was going to make it a little better was the fact that he had his Penguin to keep him company, and the fact that he was going to be getting some more experience and skill points for his stats, which is something he desperately needed. I hate being soo weak.... but is this really how I want to start it? I mean, there is not much for me to do, but I do not think this is going to be that fun..... well there is nothing I can really do now but get these quests going, and hope to get to the more difficult quests. He shrugged and started to walk toward the quest giver, hoping that this wont be that bad.

  22. As Spencer got closer, he felt a bit more at ease. The woman seemed harmless enough, and he was assuming that this was actually Hestia, the goddess of the Hearth. He did not know whether he should bow, or stand there, or anything else. He just waved to her and offered a warm, sort of nervous, smile to her. "Hi, I'm Spencer, I was challenged in the art of cooking?" Spencer said and Hestia nodded, motioning for him to come forward, the palace steps led up into a masterpiece of architecture. Spencer gave a soft sigh and took a couple steps up the palace, looking around him. This is weird right? This must be a quest that opens up after a while of the game running, those happen every once in a while, I haven't heard anyone talk about this quest before, I Hope it is easy. He sighed a bit again, Noot noot! The penguin gave some comforting Noots, which made this process a bit easier. "Thanks Noot, Lets get going shall we?" He said with a smile.

  23. As the temple-esque building started to come into view, Spencer's stomach became a bit more and more queasy feeling. God I need to calm my stomach down and get used to all of this... okay self that is so easy to say when I'm thinking it, but it is still unnverving to think I'm facing a goddess, god this is going to be something short of a battle... what if it is a battle? Wait no it is not, the quest literally said all it was going to be is crafting, so that is good, but stilllllll...... my body is NOT ready for this. Spencer grumbled to himself in his thoughts as they got closer. The man stopped and motioned for the blonde haired man to continue walking, apparently this was as far as he was going to go. "Of Course, I'm on my own, that sounds like so much fun and not uncomfortable at all." He grumbled audibly and Noot tried so rub his arm, but the way he was being held was not working too well. Spencer sighed and looked closer, he could see a woman standing there, an aura of warmth and heat radiating so far that he even felt it.

  24. Spencer hit accept on the quest icon, and the satyr started to lead him through the city. Even though Spencer was nervous, he was glad to have the distraction of the new floor, well new to him, and be able to see the beautiful scenery. He was thinking about possibly making this floor another hang out floor, much like how Floor 4 and Floor 7 were that to him too. He shrugged a bit, he had no idea if he was going to make this a new hang out spot for himself, but he was still glad to be able to see everything. "What do you think we are going to have to do?" He asked his little penguin friend, which in fact the penguin just shrugged and looked at everything. "Thanks for the help." He muttered and looked up to see a large building coming into view. It was still way too far to see, but he was already getting some butterfly's in his stomach with the idea of a competition going on, he was not the best at this kind of thing. He gave a small sigh, trying to calm himself down, and continued the long walk.
