  1. Vivlia hesitantly looked around the town of floor three. It’s bright here.. sunny even. She stated cautiously. It feels oddly happy for a death game. She squinted at the shops and cafes littered around the village. “Where was the blacksmith again..?” She muttered to herself, closing her arms around her elbows. It was definitely somewhere around here. She nodded to herself and looked around once more, maybe it’s firther into town. She huffed, hurriedly weaving her way through the crowds of people.

Finding herself even more lost than before, she sighed. Find a bench, that’s where I can think this through, she huffed, spotting an ideal bench a few meters away, “Thank god,” she whispered to herself and rushed off to it. Planning before she even got to the seat, she went full on mind cap. Maybe I can ask an NPC? It won’t be nearly as humiliating then asking a player. She shrugged, not watching where she was going. When karma hit her, she realized that it had literally hit her. Bumping into a stranger, she fell back. “Ouf!” Ow.. she groaned, rubbing her head.

  2. She bit her lip awkwardly and gave a small huff. Sure ya don’t. Rolling her eyes, she took a mouthful of coffee before scooting her seat even farther. She felt especially nervous when she felt his stare, can this guy give it a rest, he’s giving me the creeps. Raising a brow at him, she shook her head slowly. “I-I.. I think I’ll pass,” she said quietly, pushing her glasses further up. Sighing she rolled her eyes again, Yes.. I can totally see how strong you are by your health not too long ago, a replied in her head bitterly. She nodded her head and crossed her arms, “Nice to meet you.. Blade,” she said coldly. This guy is probobaly one of the most egocentric people I’ve ever met.

The peach haired player sighed and felt a spark emerge from within her. “Yeah, you see. I don’t give two craps on what you were doing or what your name is. So do me a favor and get the heck away from my face,” as soon as she was finish she gasped, covering her mouth. Oh crap, what is wrong with me? Did I just say that? Oh no, no, no. What is this game doing to me?! Her figure nervously looked up with one eye and fretted, “I-I, didn’t m-mean that..”

  3. Vivlia sighed as had found nothing. Again, this would be much easier if it was real life, I can’t even break a darn stick of a three. She huffed, crossing her arms disapprovingly. “This is stupid,” she muttered to herself, looking around some more. What can I even find around here? It’s just five though. Can’t be that hard.

And with that, she went back to searching. Only for a few minutes later, she slumped down on a nearby tree. Agh, I can’t find anything! Is gathering really this hard? I can’t get anywhere in SAO like this! She puffed depressingly. Why cant I do this right? Why cant it be as easy as reading a book? She though hopelessly, planting her face into her arms. What if never get out of here? I can’t stay here, it won’t make sense.. my body in real life will slowly fade away, along with my conscious, why..? Why do I have to endure this much pain?

  4. She rubbed her red eyes and sniffed, how did I get in this mess? I was going to be a successful doctor.. she whimpered, what happens if I get out of here? Will I even be able to go to college? It’s been two years, I’m 17 now.. if I don’t get out of here soon I won’t be able to make it to college. Her eyes were brimming with tears. But that’s why I have to work hard right? To be able to get out of here? I guess.. she stood up, rubbing her face of tears. “Be strong,” She whispered, “You can’t back down now.”

She wondered the forest, every noise making her jump back. “Eheh.. there has to be something here,” she muttered nervously, checking under trees and bushes. Sighing, she crossed her arms. Unbelievable, I would have a butt-load of materials if I was actually gathering in real life. She scoffed, raising her hand over her head with a tiredly sigh. I knows it’s a game, but it feels so real. I really feel like I’m in a forest, they could’ve made millions off of this.

  5. The peach haired girl rubbed her forehead. Agh.. why cant I be as social as other people? She sighed, taking another large mouthful of coffee. But his coffee is really good, I should come here more often. A small smile came upon her lips, maybe I should ask how he made it? She shook her head, nah, that’s stupid.

A small yelp escaoedbher as she felt a strong cold breeze roll in. Cooollldddd.. she shook herself and took another sip of the warm coffee.  As a sigh of relief escapes her, she looked around. Two more players have entered the tavern, they both seemed to have been beaten in some kind of battle. Maybe a field boss? How am I supposed to know, I barely do any quests.. she frowned, watching a players order their drinks and blabber more about their last battle.

She squealed as she felt a precense near her. “O-oh.. hi,” she nodded meekly and scooted her stool a few inches away, clearly uncomfortable by the atmospheres. Oh lord, this is getting weird. Should I just leave? No, no. That’s mean. Maybe I should tell them I’m leaving, aghhh. That would be just as mean! What to do, what to do...

  6. She jumped back a bit from the sudden movement with a loud ‘eek!’. “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry..” she fretted, backing up a couple steps. Clutz. She gulped nervously and rubbed the back of her neck. Scanning his face, she sighed. I’m annoying him aren’t I? Of course I am.. She pushed up her glasses with a sad smile. “It’s okay.. I see that I’m annoying you. You don’t have to say it, I’ll leave you be,” She sighed heavily, I just wanted to ask where he got the book. She bit her lip, rubbing her elbows. “I-I guess I’ll be over there,” she pointed glumly at her stool and dragged her feet over there. Alone.

As she sat down, a heavy sigh came from her. I guess this is what happens when I try to socialize. I guess I’m not as confident as I think I am.. she sniffed solemnly. A few heartbeats later, the bartender gave a a mug of coffee with a bit of whipped cream added on top. She looked up at him and smiled, “Thanks..” her hands brought the mug up to her lips where she took a long and relaxing sip from. This isn’t actually that bad.

  7. After a few minutes of weaving through crowds of people, she finally made her way out of the town. “I haven’t been this far out before..” she gulped, looking from left to right for any sign of danger. I guess it’s safe.. for now.. she sighed, walking towards a leafy green forest. I bet there’ll be materials there, it’s a forest! She smiled happily and skipped excitedly to the trees.

At the entrance, she slowly let fear engulf her. “It’s d-dark in there,” she whispered to herself, what if something jumps out and attacks me? What if my HP drops to zero? I’ll die right? That’s what Kayaba said right?! She clutched her head. I can’t die. Not here! I had my life planned out. I would go to Oxford and get a medical degree. I would work on the America’s. Why, why me?! She choked back a sob and fell to her knees, why me..?

  8. Vivlia sighed tiredly and groaned, rubbing her eyes. “Why is it so cold in floor four?” She whispered, shuddering at the extreme chilliness. Rubbing her elbows she looked around her surroundings. “T-there has to be some kind of restaurant or shop around here right?” She muttered, pushing her glasses up to see a more clear view.

Spotting a nearby tavern, she quickly strides over to it. I’m not the type to go in bars but this is what’s around, she sighed heavily, “Hearth and Harrow huh?” She tilted her head at the sign. Odd name.. agh! What are you still standing around for Vivlia?! She huffed, quickly entering the tavern.

A fresh wave of warm air blasted in her face. “Ah.. that feels nice,” she smiled happily, rubbing her hands together. Maybe they have some drinks here.. she walked over to a couple stools in front of a counter, I guess I should stay here a bit until it gets warmer. She sighed, sitting down on the stool. “Uhm..” she spoke in a voice barely above the whisper. “Do you have any coffee? Any kind will do,” she smiled warmly at the tender, who gave a gruff nod and walked off.

As she was waiting, she scanned the tavern. It was decent sized, but there wasn’t anybody there except her, the bartender, and a guy sitting at a table in front of a window with a cat, most likely his familiar. As she looked closer at him, she could see that he was scribbling something down on a small book. A book? A notebook perhaps? I have to ask where he got it.. ugh, but how? Darn you social awkwardness! She looked left and right before sighing and muttering to herself. “Here goes nothing..” she stood up from her stool with shaky legs and walked over awkwardly to the player.

She nervously tapped him in the shoulder, “Uhm.. so I was over there,” she said in a hush vice pointing over to her seat. “A-and I saw you writing in a book, I was wondering where you got that? I would love to have on myself,” she gave a sheepish smile.

  9. The player gave a sigh of relief, “Thank god,” She whispered and rubbed her neck. “Uhm.. what exactly does this quest want me to do? He didn’t give me any specifics..” she spoke in a lightly mutter. That is why you should not trust peo- NPCs.

“Ah, yes. I just need you to get five materials for me,” he chuckled, holding up five fingers. “That seem easy enough?” He asked, raising a thick brow.

She nodded slowly, “Y-yes, I think that should be easy enough for me,” she whispered, hugging herself. “I’ll get to it then, see you later..” she gave a small wave and left the shop. Oh lord, I though I was going to burst. She sighed, brushing it off and trudging off through the town. I should head for the forest, it probabaly has a lot of materials there.. maybe I could score a couple before it gets dark or something. She planned carefully, adjusting her glasses.

  10. The peach haired player timidly entered the shop. Scanning around for the shop owner, she gave a quick smile and nod at him before quickly striding over to the custom order sheets. Hm.. name? She sighed and quickly filled it out. “I hope this doesn’t seem crappy,” she muttered and placed the sheet in the box or whatever. Turning back to the shop owner and handing him the desired Col amount, “just message me when your done. Thanks,” and with that, she left the shop.

  11. From around the corner, a bearded head popped up, “ah, are you here for the quest young one?” Zackiriah’s voice was gruff but soft. His eyes could show a million stars, fake. The rosy haired player sighed and gave a meek nod, her glasses falling.

”Y-yes, someone gave me instructions to come here to get it?” She stuttered quietly, raising her red glasses. Get your act together Vivlia! He won’t care, he’s just a bunch of 1’s and 0’s! She frowned at the thought. Why did they have to make him so life like? It’s hard to know if he’s human.. she huffed in annoyance. But no matter, I have to talk to him anyways, wish I can just telepathically talk to someone, that’d be so much easier.

The white haired NPC gave a hardy laugh and nodded. “Not very talkative there are ya?” His chest heaved up and down, Vivlia’s face pink from the embarrassment. “Aye, you’ve come to the right place.”

  12. The First Few Lessons Are Free :

Vivlia fidgeted with her fingers as she slowly trudged through the town. “Where do I find it again..” she muttered to herself, her arms hugging her shoulders. Agh, where did that NPC say it was? Her lower lip trembled, can NPC’s give you false programming in this game? The peach haired player heaved a sigh and shook her head. This sucks, I’m lost in a giant town, I should’ve left here when I had the chance.. she whimpered and looked up, scanning the area in front of her.

After a few seconds of standing in the middle of a large crowd, she quickly found the small shop she had been looking for. Aha! There it is, she carefully made her way through the crowd and stood in front of the small shop.

Taking in a small breath of air, she peeked inside, “Uh, hello?” She said quietly, “Is there a Zackiriah here?”

    Name : Adalene Mercier

    Age : 17

    Height : 5’1

    Gender : Female

    Personality / History :

Adalene Mercier was born into a more upper class family in the heart of France, Paris. As an only child, her parents pampered her more Han they should have, giving her gifts, toys, and more items she did not care for. She would prefer them using their money to benefit other people but this never really happened because she was honestly a shy girl. She wasn’t introduced to many people, leaving her often isolated and alone and in her own world.

Though she never truly felt alone, Adalene would always turn to her books for comfort with welcomed arms. Reading had become a daily thing for her, you would always spot her with either a book or two anywhere. To her, the books were her refuge, a place she could call home, a reality where she was only allowed into. But because of her love for reading, she was always nicknamed the ‘bookworm’ or ‘nerd’ at her prestigious school, making her less and less confident in her social life.

But soon enough, the word SAO has popped up through her school. Though she would often ‘overhear’ other people talking about it, how it was a great place for social activity and how there were countless things to learn, she knew straight away she needed this game. It was actually one of the few things she strongly wanted in the world.

During summer break, her parents would always take her to a small beachfront they own in Japan, though always hesitant on spending a large amount of cash for the trip there, she reluctantly agrees every time.

Around the evening during her stay, her parents had given her a large box, nearly wrapped with a large ribbon. Refusing a gift, she shook her head no, but her parents kept insisting until she gave in. Slowly and cautiously she opened the box, it revealed to be a full set of Nervegear and the SAO game. Her parents had managed to score the gear and a copy of the game before it sold out.

She thanked her parents humongously of course and set off. Her parents only chuckled at their daughters behavior before turning in the news to reveal the shockingly truth of SAO. They rushed to their daughters room to warn her, but it was already too late. The poor girl was already sent to the horrors of the virtual world.

    Virtues :

Hardworking : Vivlia has a hardworking personality for someone so shy. She always tries her hardest whether it’s a big or small problem. Her hardworking nature has gotten her high points in life and she hopes to keep it that way.

Focused : She would always remain super intent on whatever’s happening in front of her. This is letting her being able to get work down easier. Thought she sometimes casts others away while she’s working, it just saves her time and energy.

Respect : Vivlia has respect for almost everyone she meets. She believes that the only way for people to respect you is for you to respect them. She doesn’t have respect for everybody though, if she gets a bad vibe about you, you’re out of the picture for her.

    Flaws :

Quiet : Thought being quiet has some perks, Vivlia wouldn’t say it is. She would always stay quiet during conversations unless it’s strictly being directed to her. She usually tends to keep quiet during arguments cause she really just doesn’t know what to do.

Lonesome : Face it, she doesn’t have that many friends in or out of SAO. She would often be sighted far away from groups of people, hence the reason why she still remains a solo player. Though she honestly tries her hardest to socialize, it’s just no second nature to her.

Doubtful : Though she is hardworking, she often doubts her decisions.. a lot. She would always be scared that if she makes the wrong decisions, the world could fall down on her. She hates the feeling of bearing weight on her shoulders which is why she usually takes a while before making decisions.
