  1. Kirbs stared at her for a few seconds with a blank stare. "You what?"

Her fingertips twitched as she gripped her spear tighter. "Are you [no on word]-ing crazy? You stupid [female doggy]," she seethed, marching forward to grab her collar. She didn't feel like herself. She wasn't herself. "How could you do this to me?" She screamed, her voice cracking as she gazed furiously at her dead in the eyes. "Y-you..." she choked, wiping her eyes with her free hand. "You stupid traitor!" She pushed herself away from Kityuisa and gulped. "I can't believe I frekin' trusted you! I frekin' trusted you!" She sobbed, gripping on her hair tightly. How could she trust anyone anymore? Her friend-- one of her most closest friends betrayed her. Who can she trust, now?

She huffed as she stumbled on her feet. She felt weak. She couldn't let me people see her like this. She slowly and shakily raised her spear and pointed the blade at Kityuisa with a breathless look. "I told you to stay the [no no word] away. I shouldn't have frekin' come here!" She let out a bitter laugh as she gazed at Kityuisa crazily. "Don't get near me. I don't want you anywhere near me again, do you frekin' hear me?!" She demanded, lowering her spear. She was so scared. Scared of everything. Scared of what was going to happen if she stayed there any longer.

"Stay the hell away from me!" She screamed one last time before storming off. "And it won't be only Pinball you have to worry about," she muttered under her breath.

  2. Kirbs cringed at the name. God, just the mention of him made her want to squeeze the life out of his eyes. The pure mention of that name just made her want to dig her spear so deep into his chest, it would reach the other side of his body. She hated him. She absolutely hated him.

The redhead didn't really like the way things were really running. "And?" She prodded, narrowing her eyes at her. She had already come up with a couple possible future outcomes. This Mars character didn't really seem like a character she wanted to mess with, but she wanted to find out more about him before she made any kind of irrational decisions. "Go on," she said, sniffing.

Damn, she felt like some kind of superhero with how many futures she was predicting but something fishy was definitely going on here.

    Did she meet another PKer?

  3. "Alright," she mumbled, shrugging her shoulders. She didn't really mind but if it damaged Kityuisa, she guessed that she had to leave, huh?

"Alright," she yawned, tapping the imaginary watch on her wrist as she looked over to Kityuisa. "What it so important you had to drag me out here for two days, mind you, and make me fight a boss monster that I had already killed?" She asked, her fingers tapping against her arm impatiently.

She would've been fine with it if it were just a simple ask-me-for-help kind of deal, but she knew that Kityuisa would've been able to do this quest just fine on her own. Sure, it would've taken just a bit longer, but it wasn't like they were really going to do any damage to her health bar anyway, not to mention, the anticipation was killing her. Almost literally. If it was so damn important, then she should've told her from the very start.

  4. "Yeah, you have fun with that or whatever," she mumbled. Her lip curled as her feet sloshed around in the blue knee-deep water.

"Alright," she sniffed, a small emitting from her as she dug her hands into her pockets. Personal health as probably the last thing she cared about at the moment, but y'know, yolo.

"Well, I don't know about you," she started, scratching her nose, "but I kind of don't like having a fourth of my body submerged in water I can't even see, so I'm heading back to town or whatever." She started to walk away-- er, at least, try to, anyway. "Gross, gross," she exclaimed under her breath as she started sloshing all the way back to town.

Well, she wasn't sure if she could call the day 'eventful', but at least it was better than being cooped up in her shop for a whole day sulking.

  5. "I ask myself the same questions sometimes, too," she mumbled back.

Kirbs was about to snap back right at him, but decided more against it. "Alright," she muttered, casting her eyes back at the watery surface.

"I can't let somebody die in front of me again."

Well damn, that hit her hard. Screw you too, emotions! She wouldn't know what she would do if someone had died in front of her. Now that sparked up a mental debate. Would she prefer someone dying in front of her or behind her back-- well, first, she wouldn't want anyone dying in general, but she would much rather have someone die in front of, honestly. It was a terrible feeling not being there when someone died.

"Oh, yeah. You can have it. I don't need it, I just did this quest for the experience," she mumbled blankly as she sent the item over to him.

  6. Kirbs shrugged her shoulders stiffly. "Alright."

She dashed in front of the Cerberus one last time and delivered the same blow, knocking it back a bit before it finally died. Well, that sure was eventful.

She looked over at Kityuisa and leaned her arm against the butt of her spear as its blade dug into the ground. "So let's get out and you tell me whatever big news you have," she mumbled, making jazz hands before ripping her spear out of the ground.

It better have been damn important because she didn't just waste two bloody days with a girl to be talking about some boy troubles or something like that. God, she'd be pissed if that were the case, but she didn't think that would happen. She seemed pretty darn serious about whatever she was going to tell Kirbs. There really couldn't be much that was surprise her anymore.

  7. Kirbs launched herself at the last hound, killing it without much of a fight. "Lame," she drawled, shaking her head.

"You okay over there?" She asked, her voice switching between blankness and worry. God, she didn't want to be around her but she didn't want her to die from the damn cave or whatever.

Scarfy let out a low hiss as he watched Willow leave the cave. "Traitor," he mumbled, turning his attention back to Kirbs.

She looked over to the raging and flaming Cerberus. "So we meet again, huh?" She murmured, yawning. The thing didn't put up much of a fight last time she was here so she wasn't too incredibly worried about anything bad happening today. She couldn't really say the same thing about the blonde over there but she wasn't too worried. She was about the same level, if not lower when she first did this quest.

  8. Kirbs stiffly nodded as she took her spear, Scarfy silently slithering down and wrapping around her arm as she charged in for an attack. She bounded right in the middle of the three remaining hands and held out her spear, using the sword art she had once enjoyed doing-- well, she couldn't really say once, she still 'liked' doing it. She really just liked fighting in general. The adrenaline, the thrill, she craved it most of the time, to the point of addiction.

Her glowing red spear ripped through the wolves like hot knife to butter. The flaming hounds yelped in agony before exploding into bright red shards in the air. "Alright, a few more to go and then the boss, which should be pretty easy in general," she commented, her voice almost monotone as she thought about the last time she did this quest.

    She was so... so... happy.

  9. Kirbs sniffed as she kept her eyes solely trained on the ground, well, that was the case until she heard some shouts and the loud buzzing of giant frekin' bees. Her lip curled over as she almost scoffed in disgust. God, she hated these bug mobs.

"Alright," she slapped her cheeks lightly as she suddenly felt her adrenaline spike. "No time to wait... just fight!" She mumbled as she dashed into the battle. All dark thoughts momentarily left her as she charged in between the two bees. Her breath hitched in her throat as she used a sword art she has once loved so much, now it really just reminded her of bad times, really bad times.

No, that was bad thinking! Just be happy! Well, it was more easier said than done, what was also more easier said than done was hitting a damn bee. She managed to lower the second one quite a bit at least. "Alright, aim for the first one. I'll take care of the second one!" She called over to Vigilon and Alec.

  10. Dark swept by faster than she had expected, and [sugar honey iced tea].

She scrambled back to her wobbly feet and gulped. Where could she go now? She could try find a few spots near some magma pools like last time with Alec.

"Shoot," she muttered, darting to the nearest source of light she could find, which was a not so nearby magma pool. She huffed as she collapsed on to a nearby rock. "'Frick," she hissed, hugging her knees together as she glanced at the sky feverishly. She hated this floor. It was always dark. Too dark. She'll see him in such a deformed state if she kept looking at it. She pulled her eyes back to the bubbling hot magma and breathed heavily.

He's not there, she kept telling herself. It was all an illusion played by her damn head! She wasn't seeing him. She wasn't seeing him. It wasn't him!

  11. Kirbs looked at the bread and then to Kityuisa for a few seconds before taking it. "Thanks," she muttered, bringing it to her mouth and eating it slowly.

She was pretty sure Kityuisa wouldn't be the type to give her poisoned bread but you could never really be sure anymore, huh? She felt like she couldn't trust anyone anymore, although she wasn't sure if both her heart and her head were on the same page about it.

"Can I just throw myself into the next pit of lava?" Scarfy hissed, his eyes blinking at the ground tiredly as he dangled off of Kirbs' shoulders. "Why do I have to go through this hell all over again?" He drawled, a hypothetical cloud of smoke erupting from his ears and nose. "It was bad enough sleeping on the damn ground the first time, but why do I have to do it a second time?"

  12. "I'm all ready to go!" She chimed, her smile faltering for a few seconds before she sniffed and pointed to the beyond. "Let's go!"

God, was it tiring to keep up this damn act. How long was she going to force herself to be like this? Until she died? Until the game ended? What if someone died again? What if someone that made her feel just a tiny bit of happiness, died? In the blink of an eye? She shuddered and felt goosebumps rise on her arms. She couldn't help but nibble on her nails as more thoughts filled her head.

What if they got murdered again? She couldn't have that. She couldn't deal with the unbearable pain anymore. Everything would be so monotone-- if it wasn't already-- if someone died again. Life would feel so damn pointless if someone died again.

No, no, no. She wasn't going to let it happen. She would rather die herself than have another person in her life vanish.

  13. "Everything!" She yelled back as she dashed forward. Damn, did he do a lot of damage to that thing. She swung the blade of her spear down harshly on the wyvern. She let out a big sigh of relief as the dragon screeched in its place, dissipating into dozens of shards in the air only a few seconds later. She huffed as she nearly stumbled arse first into the knee deep water.

She turned her head back to Macradon and gave him a rare smile, probably due to her giant arse adrenaline rush she just had. "See? I'm all good. Nothing to worry about," she said, lowering her spear as she felt Scarfy slither back up her arm and to his 'resting place'. Her crimson eyes flickered over to her yellow health bar. Wow wee-- she took a whole hell lot of damage. One more hit from that thing and she would've been dead.

  14. "I think I'll be fine," she said, waving him away. "You go whatever you do. I'll do some damage, don't worry about it."

A petrifying roar rang through the swamp as Kirbs' familiar tightened around her arm. "Oh boy, here we go," she muttered, watching as the Wyvern rose up from the deep and dark blue water. "I'll be fine, right?"

That's what she thought before she got whacked to the ground. "Well [sugar honey iced tea]." She wheezed, scrambling back to her feet. Her eyes trailed over to her health bar-- er, what was left it of it anyway. "Frick, frick, frick," she mumbled, gulping. Jesus, that did more than half of her health. Maybe she should've listened to him after all? God, if she died, she was coming back to life and haunt this damn game and its creators. At least the thing wasn't concentrated on her at all.

  15. She nodded hesitantly. "I think I can only take about one or two hits before..." she made a slit throat gesture and sighed. "I don't really want to go down in a swamp from some quest mob, too," she mumbled, wincing again as she stepped in some rather mushy mud.

"Just go for it, though. I'm pretty sure you can at least two shot it, if not one shot it," she said, giving him a meek thumbs up. Maybe the monster would totally miss her. Who knew? Though, with this damn water, she was sure that it was going to be highly unlikely. God, why did she need to remind herself.

    Yuck, yuck, yuck.

"Uhm, yeah. I'll just wait for it to come out and attack it. But you go do your thing and try to kill it, because I'm not even sure if I'll be able to even land anything," she mumbled, shrugging her shoulders.

  16. Kirbs stared Vigilon dead in the eyes for a few seconds, unsure of how she should reply before shrugging. "Sure, that's what I meant." The whole thing really made her question some things, though. What was Pinball's motive? And that other guy? Bjarni or something? What was he after? She's never really heard to this Bjarni dude in her whole life, so he couldn't be a really high leveled player. She thought Ike was strong enough to defend himself... apparently not. She couldn't trust anyone to protect themselves anymore.

Kirbs forced her eyes down to her hands as she listened to Alec. "Yeah," she hummed, her cheeks puffing up slightly as she contained a yawn.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" She said abruptly, nodding her head to the town exit. "Let's get going before it gets dark," she chirped, clearing her throat again before looking back the two players.

  17. Kirbs hummed, looking back up at Vigilon-- or more like, looked kind of sort of down. "Oh yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry," she said, averting her eyes back to Alec.

"The question?" She mumbled, blinking. She wracked through her brain and pieced together some information she couldn't really help but overhear. "Ah, that," she scratched her chin.

"Well..." she gulped, furrowing her brows. She hadn't really had a decent conversation with someone in so long. The last time she ever really talked to someone was when she was arguing with Kityuisa... or more like screaming at her really. She didn't want to talk anymore, but she had too.

"I suppose it's really because we have the advantage of numbers," she shrugged, not really finding a better answer than that. "Sure, we might not have the unique abilities that the other mobs possess, but we do have strength in numbers, I guess? Even if they do have more numbers, I'm sure Kayaba wouldn't be a total arse and make it so their stats are far superior to us," she concluded, her eyes darkening as a reoccurring thought crept up on her mind. "But life isn't fair, because we still have bastard players who exploit their superior stats."

  18. "Ah, I see," she nodded, forcing a smile on to her face. Boyfriend, huh? Couldn't relate. The closest person she's had to a boyfriend in the last two years was dead.

"Nice to meet you, too, and thank you," she cleared her throat as she look away from him.

"I'm doing good, and you?" She chuckled, trying to blink away the tiredness from her eyes. She couldn't let them figure anything out. Be happy, was her motto. She wasn't sure how much more she could stand acting it, but if it made other people happy, then that was all that really mattered. Kirbs' eyes drifted away from the two as Alec started to talk about some battle she was never really there for, so she didn't really try to initiate conversation with it.

Wasp Queen, huh? Now that she thought about it, it was actually one of the first quests she's actually ever done. What was the lad's name that she did it with? Black? She wondered how he was doing nowadays. She hasn't heard from him in a good bit.

  19. The Wasp Queen? Her head tilted in confusion. Hadn't she done this quest a long, long, long time ago? She shuddered. Another bigger and stronger version? God, this was going to be the death of her.

She looked down at her feet as she gave a meek wave to Alec. She didn't want to lose him, too. "Just be happy, happy, happy," she muttered under her breath. "No one is going to leave you anymore if you're just happy," she whispered one last time to herself as she looked up at the players.

"H-hey, how's it going, you two?" She chirped, pulling off a convincing smile. She turned over to Vigilon and nodded. "I think I met you a bit ago. Kyrsta's boyfriend, yeah? I don't think she talks about me but my name is Kirbs!" She held out her hand for a handshake. "I'd totally be down to help, too! I think I can do quite a hefty blow to the thing if nothing gets in the way!"

  20. Kirbs shoved her hands into her pockets, the feeling of her necklace clinking against her chest seeming to be the only thing that was keeping her sane. "Be... happy..!" She mumbled, narrowing her eyes as she stared daggers at the ground. "Just be happy. Happy, happy, happy," the redhead repeated, her fingers twitching.

Everyone would just be happier if she acted more happier. People wouldn't leave her anymore if she was just more easier to be around, right? So much less pain if she was happier, right?

She stopped dead in her tracks and her breath immediately hitched as she recognized a familiar voice ring through the air. She lifted her head, and of course, the closest thing she had to  father figure in the game was there. Next to him was someone she faintly remembered from the Christmas Party a while ago. Krysta's significant other or something like that. She coulnd't relate.

  21. She sighed and rubbed her tired eye-lids. "That makes you and me both, Bahr," she muttered, shaking her head. So many sleepless nights, God, she hated it.

Kirbs' eyes drifted over to the stranger. She didn't look particularly dangerous and her crystal wasn't orange. The redhead let out a loose sigh before abruptly jumping at the sound of an ear piercing shriek.

"It's dark," she mumbled, her eyes casting down to her fumbling hands. God, she was seriously going to cry like a little [female dog] when she goes to search for that damn lair or something. She was going to keep seeing him. No, no, no. That's not going to be good at all.

Scarfy let out a low hiss as he woke up from his-- quote on quote, "well deserved nap". Well, sorry for interrupting your precious beauty sleep, too, mister. She wish she could have a nap...

  22. Her hands trembled as she closed her hand tighter around the cross necklace.

"Why, Bell?" She loosened her fist and turned the cross over, her eyes skimming over the engraved words. "Why did you have to die? We were supposed to make it out of here. Alive. We were supposed to see my brothers again. We were supposed to see out families again. We were supposed to be hanging out in the real world... and snort tea through our noses while playing video games... or... or- we could've had a future together!" She screamed, her hands letting go of the necklace and balling into fists at her side.

"We could've had a future and been together..." she whispered, crumbling to her knees on the ground. "Why did you have to go?"

Please don't leave me alone. I can't be by myself anymore. Everything hurts when I think about you, but I don't want to forget you. Please... come back.
