  1. Kirbs wasn't really sure why she was back in Lyle's shop. She hadn't been here in ages but she decided to stop by the old man to see what he was doing. She had already had a quick conversation with Zackiriah earlier this morning so she was like, 'hell, why don't I just go see the whole gang'.

What she didn't expect, however, was a man running into her with a not so polite greeting. The redhead briefly glared at him, and almost was about to give him a retort back but she let it go when he apologized. Jesus, you have all the time in the world here, slow down a bit!

"I'm fine," she mumbled, "are you okay?" She asked, looking up at the stranger. He must be here to take the second tutorial quest. Interesting.

Scarfy let out a low hiss at the voice of an unfamiliar person. Perhaps that kid trying to steal him gave him some trauma or something, but he was never really this keen on revealing himself to complete strangers. That, or he was just as sleepy as she was. "Don't mind him," she said quickly, not wanting to freak out the stranger. "He's just... moody."

  2. Kirbs growled in frustration as she missed yet another attack. It was one thing to miss an attack, but twice? Damn, her luck must be getting sour. Not to mention that these things kept on coming and coming. When was it going to bloody end? She had plans today! And one of them was to enjoy that festival that these things hijacked! Can't she just get a day of some peace?

    Well, things could be worse.

She could've slipped and fell on her face like Bahr did. Yeah, that wouldn't have been very pretty. She could also be stuck on the other party. She genuinely felt bad for Arabelle and Dustin. They were the only two fighting at this point. Their tank and healer seemed to have dipped and the other guy on their team is doing jack. Actually, she wouldn't mind being on their party if it meant helping out her buddies.

  3. Kirbs offered him a strained smile.

She felt like [sugar honey iced tea].

She was worthless. She couldn't even help with the damn mob. What the hell was wrong with her? Her mind quickly went back up in the dark, stormy clouds of her head and stayed there for quite a bit, actually.

How can I avenge anyone if I can't even kill a simple quest mob? They must all the I'm weak. Weak. Weak-- that's what I bloody am!

Her breath hitched her throat as she looked up at Bahr. "It's because of me," she whispered, her mind going back to when she had encountered, well, herself. "I almost kill myself!" She screamed vaguely, her hands going up to grip the hair on her head. "It's all because of me, me, me," she whispered. She put these thoughts into her head. She made this worse for her. It was her fault she was thinking this way. Why did so many people hate her? What did she do wrong?

  4. She mumbled sheepish thoughts under her breath as she returned her focus back on the Treants. Solei certainly knew how to make people feel special, didn't he?

She nearly jumped out of her armor when a booming voice echoed through the courtyard. Whipping her head, she was met face to face with Alec himself. Her face paled when she remembered how she had left him last time. "I-I," she stuttered, her gripping growing unbearably tight on the weapon he had given to her. She nodded her head and forced down the large rock in her throat. "T-thanks." I got it from the best, is what she wanted to say, but she didn't really know how to face Alec especially when she had been suhc a jerk to him last time they were together.

She winced when there was a small branched lodged into him, but let out a sigh of relief when she saw that he barely, if not any, took damage at all. She couldn't help but feel a cold shiver go up her spine every time someone got attacked other than her. She was so used to being a tank figure while fighting.

Sending those chills out the imaginary window, she leaped back into battle, using another kind of attack that kind of looked like a Link spin attack. Man, Kayaba really needed to get more creative with these sword arts. She stuck her leg out and twirled in a circle, effectively stunning both of the Treants.

  5. She felt sick.

"Who?" She repeated, her eyes turning watery again. "Who?!" Kirbs screamed, her voice cracking again. "My best friend, that's who!" She let go of his collar and felt her chest rise and fall heavily. Her blurry vision focused on his eyes. They were so blank, like some kind of frekin' doll.

"Y-you don't even remember, do you?!" She sobbed, feeling so damn weak. He doesn't even remember killing her best friend? "You son of a [female doggo]," she choked out, gripping her head tightly. How was she going to avenge her best friend's killer if he didn't even remember killing him? She wanted to make him suffer. She wanted to make him feel all the damn pain she had to feel. How the hell was she going to do that if he doesn't bloody remember killing him in the first place?

"Wipe that smile off your damn face," she whispered, tears leaking out of their sockets. "Wipe that smile off of your stupid face. You killed Bell. I'm never going to see him again, all because of you, you, you-" she muttered, her vision getting blurry again. "I'm never going to see my best friend again," she repeated, choking on the tight knot in her throat.

  6. Kirbs nodded her head slowly. He was enthusiastic, that's for sure. It kind of reminded her of herself not too long ago. Man, what'd she kill to go back to those good days. "Alright," she mumbled, spotting a few mobs that looked much like a tree not too far away from them. "Be careful," she said one last time before darting over to the Treant with her new made spear in hand.

The spear glowed a bright red as she activated her strongest sword art, aiming straight for the mob closest to her. Adrenaline now pumping through her, she delivered her sword art; four quick jabs right into the chest. Before the Treant could really register what was happening, she jumped up into the air and slammed the butt of her spear down hard on to the bark head of the mob. Jumping back, she stole a glance at Soleil, just for safe measures. He was fine. Fine. Fine!

She didn't need to worry, yet.

  7. Kirbs nearly jolted awake when someone unfamiliar started talking to her. She blinked, looking up at a stranger with blue hair. Another blue-head? What's up with people, these days?

"Okay," she mumbled, furrowing her brows. He didn't look very strong, that's for sure. She gave him a once over and blinked. He looked like he could be a level one player. It was okay, though! She wouldn't need to protect him! He just needed to stay out of her way when she was fighting, that's all. She stifled a yawn and crossed her arms at him. He looked old enough to be around Bahr and Sey's age, but you could never really be to sure with this game anymore.

"You just need to stay out of my way when I'm fighting, okay? I don't want another person dying on me," she said, giving him a once over again. Yeah, he would definitely not survive a single hit from the mobs up here.

    "I'm Kirbs by the way."

  8. Kirbs strolled through the courtyard with a conflicted face. It was pretty... pretty here. How was a mob going to spawn in a city like this? Some things just don't really make sense, anymore, huh? She kicked a few rocks and mumbled under her breath. She was tired, again. This time was odd, though. She wasn't planning in her stack of papers like she was usually doing. Last night, she was just lying in her bed... thinking.

She didn't particularly know why but damn, it was great falling asleep on your bed instead of a bloody counter.

She flicked through her inventory with a sigh. Maybe she could do some hunting to get her adrenaline up. Nothing better for the soul than killing a couple of mobs, right?

Kirbs grumbled under her breath in agreement as she equipped her spear. The same spear Alec had made for her... She pushed her hair up and sighed. She hated the way she had left him when they had finished Essence of Steel. The guilt was gnawing at her damn gut.

"Okay," she shrugged. They were probably going to be safe, anyway. It wasn't going to be hard to kill just one or two mobs, anyway. The chances for better gear was always at stake, too. So that was nice.

"Is there a reason why you've been acting nervous around me, lately?" She asked suddenly, surprising herself as well. As much as she didn't want to see it, she's noticed that her own friend has been acting quite a bit distant whenever she was around her. Perhaps it was because she thought she was weak for not even being able to protect Bell? Kirbs wouldn't blame her if she thought she was. She is weak. No doubt about it.

She is going to get stronger, though.

No, she isn't fighting for the front lines anymore. No, no, it's much more than that. She's fighting for justice. Justice for her best friend's killer.

  10. "Uh huh," she clicked her tongue, keeping him under her eye suspiciously. Oh, she loved kids! But this kid... he tried to steal her familiar! And he's a frekin PKer for God's sake!

"What were you going to use the Col for, kid?" She asked, somewhat interested. What was a ten year old going to do with Col? What was a ten year old even doing in the damn game?

The redhead sighed and crossed her arms with a conflicted face. Damn, this sucks. "Well, I might," she started, crouching down in front of him with a frown. "I have some questions for you first, though and you're going to answer them truthfully or I'm putting my spear through your skull, okay?" Right, right. No mercy for PKers, no matter how young they were. "That, or I can let Scarfy here strangle you to death, too, your choice, kid," she gestured her head over to the still hostile Scarfy. Oh boy, was he mad.

"First off," she held up a finger, "who did you kill to get that nice looking orange crystal right there?" She asked, venom lacing her tone as she glared at the rotating crystal above his head.

  11. Her dark thoughts were immediately driven away when she watched the mob explode into dozens and dozens of blue pixels. She was thankful, of course. Who doesn't know what would've happened if Bahr and Kityuisa weren't here. But there was a small part of her that felt ashamed of herself. She didn't do anything to help with this quest. She was supposed to protect people! How could she protect anyone if she froze up like that every time? Why did she even freeze? It's not like she's been up against tougher mobs! What was that? How was she going to live with herself anymore now that she can't even face a damn monkey?!

"I-I guess it is," she mumbled, her eyes switching its focus rapidly from one object to another. "Thanks, by the way," she muttered, almost too inaudible to hear, in fact. She was useless. Completely and utterly useless.

  12. Kirbs inaudibly gulped as she watched the guy completely obliterate the remaining bandits. What bloody fun. It could be worse. It could be definitely worse. She could be dead for God's sake!

"I'll," she paused, pointing to their now torn up camp. "... I'll go and find that guy we were supposed to find, or something," She said, muttering the last few parts to herself. She giggled nervously one last time before scurrying off to find Cassin.

Well, that didn't take long at all. He was just kind of watching the whole time. Not creepy at all... yep. She sighed and walked over to him. "We're here to save you, blah, blah, come with us."

    "Oh, thank you for sav-"

She covered his mouth and squinted at him. "Shush, child." To which he did. Thank God for NPC's being cooperative in this game. She walked over to Pinball and poked his chest with a glare. "Don't you dare leave me this time, jerk."

  13. Kirbs' form immediately stiffened as she heard such a bitter cold but familiar voice. The murderer. The person she's been trying to find for God knows how long.

Wet tears welled up in her eyes as she felt so many emotions come to her at once. She felt dizzy. Was he really here? Was she hallucinating again? Was she really face to face with Bell's killer? She stared at him in disbelief. He looked insane. Completely and utterly insane. She hated it. She hated the way he looked at her. She hated the way he talked. She hated everything about this bastard.

She took slow and stiff steps towards him and suddenly felt a large ball of ice form in the pit of her stomach. It was really him. He was in front of her. The damn boy she''s been wanting to kill for weeks. She planned this. All those bloody papers stacked on her desk. The plans. She planned for everything. What she was going to do and how she was going to do it to assure justice for her lost friend... but that seemed to be thrown out the window when she stared into the cold blue eyes of the killer.

"You-" her voice cracked, the water works now really getting to her. "-you don't look remorseful at all. Y-you sick bastard!" She suddenly screamed, grabbing onto his collar with malice. "You ruined my damn life! I hate you!" She seethed, her eyes full of hatred and fury. "You-you, you killed him! You bloody killed him and you don't look [no no word]-ing guilty at all!" How could such a monster be formed into such a young person?

  14. Didja' ever wonder what would happen if you never met someone? Yeah, Kirbs did. Her life would be so much damn easier if she hadn't met a couple certain people. She wouldn't have gone so much damn pain if she hadn't ever met Bell, but the same goes for that bastard, Pinball. In all of the times she had spent with him, she never enjoyed any of it. First time, he bloody stunned her. Second time, he cut her friend's bloody arm off. Third time... he might've saved her life the third time she saw him, but that all went down the frekin' drain when she found out that he murdered Bell.

That bastard couldn't have made her life any frekin' worse, right?

    Wrong.

Every time she even thought about him, it made her want to kill him even more! She wanted that, right? She wanted to see her best friend's murderer go down to the pits of effing' hell, right?

    Damn right she did.

The silent redhead made her way out of town as she stalked silently to the barren fields just outside of the walls. It was here, she was sure of it. It was here that she first met that sad excuse for a human. Why was she so calm around him? She hated it. She hated being reminded that she had once acted so casually around a murderer. Around her friend's murderer.

  15. The day was supposed to be her free day, but no. She had to witness her familiar getting carried off by some kid. Fun, right?

    Yeah, no.

Her grogginess was immediately shoved aside when that damn kid took off with her familiar. She kind of just sat that for a few seconds, a flabbergasted expression clearly written on her face. Wait a bloody minute-- that was Scarfy-

"Get back here, you thief!" She yelled, jumping up from the bench and after the guy. Why would someone even want to steal Scarfy in the first place? He was literally a giant snake with a fox head-- like... why?!

God, this kid was fast. Maybe he had too much sugar this morning? Or maybe he was doing drugs-- her thoughts were interrupted when the kid went barreling into a stack of crates. Thanking God for a split second, she skidded to a halt next to the pile of assorted goods and the boy, and well, Scarfy. Scarfy immediately hissed at his 'kidnapper' and slithered back to the redhead, climbing up her body and then settling at the crook of her neck, where all scarves should be!

Kirbs narrowed her eyes at the orange crystal shown clearly above the stranger's head, and boy, was she furious. Murderer, was her immediate thought. The same kind of low-lives that killed her best friend. "Just what do you think were you doing, kid?"

  16. Kirbs head leaned forward as she tried to keep herself awake. Her head falling and lifting back up repeatedly as she tried to keep her eyes open for any danger.

"Sounds..." she yawned, blinking tiredly as she followed after Bahr, "fun." Her eyes widened slightly as she felt the ground beneath them shake. Her red orbs stared up at the large mob as she slowly brought out her spear, the sleep still evident on her face. God, how was she going to protect everyone when she was so damn tired like this? She watched as Bahr darted forward, dealing a nice bit of damage to the mob.

Her limbs felt weak. She felt weak. God, she was tired as hell. She blinked her eyes rapidly, shooing off the drowsiness for it to only come back again. She stared up at the Monkey King once more, and it seemed a whole lot hell scarier than what it originally was a few seconds ago. "I... I can't," she choked out, backing away a few steps as her eyes widened like saucers at the mob.

  17. Kirbs has recently found a new thinking place; the bitter snow covered fields of floor four. She just kind of happened to come here after being cooped up in her shop for so long. Sometimes she would just walk around and sometimes she would just lay in the snow, contemplating her life choices like a typical teenager would. The place just so happened to be where she met Sey and Leru, too, so she supposed it held some kind of sentimental value or something.

She hasn’t seen that bastard in a while. Not since he invited her to his wedding, at least. Damn, that bastard is really going to get it from her if she ever sees him again.

The redhead groaned as she felt backwards onto the bare snow. The cold didn’t bother her much anymore now that she had that survival skill or something.

She pulled down the skin of her face with her palm as she let out another groan. Damn, her life was a bloody mess.

    @Sey

  18. Kirbs jumped in once again, giving Kityuisa a small and reassuring smile as she charged up one of her sword arts. She clutched her spear in two hands as she thrust her spear in the chest of the bandit about three times. On the last attack she drew her dagger right through the stomach area of the NPC, effectively killing it. She sighed as she watched the bandit explode into a cloud of pixels, glad that it was finally over. She looked over to Kityuisa and gave a sheepish smile. She felt bad for taking all of the glory in this. The other player had barely attacked at all, if not at all

"Why don't we go gathering?" She asked, returning back to her friend. Her mood was suddenly happier due to the fact that she just annihilated four bloody bandits in a span of less than ten minutes. Fighting just made her happier in general, really.

She looked up at the tree, locating Kityuisa among the thin leaves. What was she waiting for? Shouldn't they engage?

After a minute or two of just waiting, she has had enough. Whipping out her spear, she let a few seconds tick by as Scarfy slithered down her arm, wrapping around it tightly. Just a moment later, she dashed forward and unleashed a sword art she has never used before. Weeping Moon, huh? Sounds like something she would grow to like soon.

She swung her spear around in a complete circle, managing to kill most of the bandits. The last one however, made a jab at her, managing to drop a small chunk of her health off.

  20. Kirbs blanked out as the Kityuisa talked to Fuyuno. She felt out of place again. Again.

Her thoughts were sawed in half when her eyes trailed over to the pleading look on the young girl's face. Her menu seemed to be in front of her and Kirbs' gave Kityuisa a questioning look. What did this girl want? God, she should've been paying more attention. Sighing, she walked over to Fuyuno and bent down a little bit so that she could look at the menu.

Maybe I'll just do a quick rundown of everything? That seemed to be the better idea at the moment since she had no idea what the hell this girl wanted.

[Skip most of that shiz because i literally know jack about this whole thing]

After she gave a quick explaination about the whole menu, she straightened up and looked in between all of the three players in front of her. The little girl should be fine on her own. Kityuisa and Krysta were strong enough to protect her. It saddened her that she had to disband the party so quickly after she had just made it, but she had a better use for the limited amount of time on her hands. "I gotta start heading out, kid," she sighed, patting the kid's head with a light laugh. "Those two are strong enough to protect cha', but just give me a call if you're in trouble, okay?" She said a smile, although her words were completely serious. She sent one quick friend request to Fuyuno before giving a small wave and walking off to the nearest teleport gate.

  21. "Love at first sight is pitiful, he barely knew me," she said coldly, her hands forming into tight fists. Celebrity or not, she refused to believe love at first sight. Books and movies can fake it all they want, but she refused to believe anything of the sort. She genuinely liked Ike-- as a friend. He made her laugh, and she appreciated that. She wasn't sure if she was ready for another relationship. Man, who was she kidding? There was never a relationship between her and Bell, he was murdered before it even began.

Her eyes softened as she was pulled into a hug. She missed the warmth she had by being around people. She felt so cold all the time.

    So cold...

And as fast as it came, that warmth was gone. Casting a brief but thankful smile to Kityuisa, she caught the potion with a small 'umph'. "Alright," she whispered, following after her all while chugging down the potion as fast as she could.

  22. She rolled her eyes at his outburst and bit back an angry outburst as well. "What's got your panties in a twist?" she muttered. "And what's wrong with being a redhead?" She suddenly grew louder, staring daggers at him. God-- she didn't know what was going on with her at this point. Maybe her lack of sleep was really messing with her head at this point- Her ears perked when his voice did a complete one-eighty. "Are you bloody bipolar or something?" She muttered under her breath, shaking her head. She took one glance at the cookie and shook her head again. "I'm good. Not hungry."

Kirbs sighed as she began to start walking off to wherever that damn thing was. She felt out of place, though. Stealing a glance at the two from behind her, she smiled sadly with a hint of envy. She wished she had that someone she could be close to. Sey was off in the front lines. Kityuisa and Bahr had their own lives, and her best friend was dead. Who did she even have anymore?

  23. Kirbs felt a bit of red rise to her cheeks as she scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Sure, he was," she said sarcastically, averting her eyes somewhere else-- really, anywhere that's not Kityuisa's face. "I'm too... busy for stuff like that, anymore," she said, her voice slightly cracking. No. She didn't need to get involved with any boys. She was in love with Bell, right? It made her feel almost sick to the stomach if she had started dating just a few weeks after he was killed. Maybe love wasn't suited for her... but for once, she was completely fine with that.

She nodded her head as she turned to look at the sky as well. "Sure, I'll join in," she replied, her eyes burning furiously at the sun. "I want it to be done before the sun sets, too," she muttered, almost to herself. She didn't want Kityuisa seeing her in such a weak state if they were to stay there till after dark.

  24. "Hey," she sniffed, blinking between Kityuisa and the sky. "That's good."

I wish I could say the same for myself, she thought bitterly. Everything has been [doo doo]-y.

She looked up with slightly widened eyes before shrugging. "Same old, same old," the redhead said smoothly. Well, part of that was true. Everything has been constant in her life for a few weeks, now. Wake up, go level, 'plan', then pass out somewhere random in her shop. Tilting her head, her face showed confusion for a second before bursting in realization. "Oh, that guy," she smiled fondly for a few seconds as she thought about their time in the garden. He was a nice guy. She had totally forgotten about him. She almost forgot about everything after she met her double-- that damn witch. "No," she mumbled, her brows scrunching up in confusion as she looked back st Kityuisa. "Why, should I have been?"
