    ... Well, the merchant hadn't exactly complained during her last visit to her(?). And she(?) seemed to work fast enough for the amount she'd offloaded onto her(?). So Bistro found herself wandering up the mountain once again, gloves shoved into her pants' pockets once more, humming a carefree tune as she'd entered the Japanese-styled building.

    Once more, she'd haphazardly laid her items down in heavy crates, almost blocking the entrance with her bulk this time. For some reason, one of her patrons had a home full of miscellaneous items to be sold off -- one that NIGHT had pleaded Bistro take on her sale ventures out somewhere. That she could do. After all, a junk-sale was a junk-sale. Didn't matter how much was being sold in bulk as long as the merchant wasn't dissatisfied with the item amount.

    "Thank you very much...! I'll just be waiting in the corner for when you get done."

    THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN

    At the sound of the Arabian yodeling, Bistro shot up in her bed.

    Soon, the indication of combat had faded from her interface. Had they left? They must've. Gingerly she'd stepped outside her confines just to peek through the window. Sure enough, the skies were beginning to clear up, and the sound of the party had begun to fade from her ears. Heart still pounding, the broker let out a sigh, shaking her head in exasperation. Today was a long and already risky day -- she was just glad it was ending mercifully.

    She wouldn't be around to watch the scenario fade away into nothing. She wasn't even focused on keying down the event as an important or entirely relevant matter.

    Bistro just wanted to sleep. A part of her had wished that this was all some lucid nightmare, with fingers crossed that the next time she woke, she'd completely forget what machinations she'd even dreamed of during her evening rest. And though this would prove to be true, the suspicion of where her potions had went would breed a small nagging hint of paranoia in her, stashed away at the back of her mind, proving to always be ever present in her day-to-day life.

    But that was a problem for another time. When her head hit the pillow, exhaustion stole her consciousness and returned her to dream land.

    THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN

    The good news: the eldritch abominations were gone. This freed up Bistro's ability to hop between different roof top locales now. Oh, and the lolipop she'd been snacking on? Strawberry flavoured. Truly the best kind to have available in her worst moments.

    The woman had even been able to make it back to her storefront in relative peace! It seemed as though most players causing the congestion out front earlier had either been converted into cultists after being deemed weak of mind by the system... or they'd fled the first floor entirely, probably living a healthy and happy life in their last, blissful, pain free moments before the end. So that was generally bad news if she had to be specific, but if it meant getting back to the Cintamani completely scar-free, Bistro was totally down for that. She could mourn in the comforts of her own workshop, after all. The store was just as peaceful and untouched as she'd remembered it.

    THE ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN

    In the time that the world had decided to collide with creatures of the grimdark and fragments of the realms beyond, Bistro had successfully ascended to one of the balconies of Aincrad's buildings.

    So that was nice! A front row view of a variety of different players. There was the red one chasing a blue one, a dance troupe forming alongside the flex squad, a number of weeping players running for their lives, robed one, robed one, robed one -- Oh, it was a cult.

    Gods, couldn't they change up their fashion senses for even a day?

    -- Just kidding. Bistro really wanted nothing to do with the scatter of people, though. She'd halfway managed to parkour her way over rooftops and make-shift rope bridges when the world was washed over with the colours of violence and death, seeming as though the castle itself had caught fire from the inside out. And in an ideal situation, it would've!

    Reality was not so kind!

    So, she'd just been stuck. On someone else's garden cafe. If Bistro wasn't so tired of the happenings around the city, perhaps she would take notes on renovating her extra citrus-coloured room to be put to further use in the future. But life was already traumatic enough for the meantime. She deserved to eat a lolipop while cowering in a corner of an apartment building in peace.
