  1. "Aww, but that is the best part of the mallow, I mean it is better with a bar of chocolate and cracker. Maybe it became soggy with the snow..." Eyeing the cup that Shiina hasn't really touched. "I get it though. That is why I'm out here. I have never done anything that wasn't in front of a screen. I want to experience life at its fullest and without the need to travel, I can do all of everything. This game is really a shortcut if you think about it. You can go anywhere you want within the limit. I want to do it all, and with your help there is no chance that I won't have fun. What do you say, will you help me not be so lame and boring "? Tanking the last sip of her cocoa, looking at the bottom of the cup, she smiles. Putting the cup to her face and tilting her head back to get the goodies inside. "Mmh," saying as eats the rest of the berries. It was clear that Shiina could have fun, but it seemed calculated for the most part... The sledding was a bit less of numbers. "I had a great day, I am glad that I could be a bit of myself today without the judgement of eyes seeping in. I hope that we can do this again soo. Thank you Shiina." A smile given, Sam didn't want this day to end, regardless, it was getting late as she could hear owls hooting in the distance.

  2. "So it's your outlet, your big thing, I like it. Mine was video games, my major outlet and my thing. I sorta lost myself in them though. Couldn't bring myself to want to enjoy anything else. For me at first this was just a game. A big hot shot that I had to beat, but that is not happening anytime soon. It's way in indepth than I am used to." Talking mechanics might have been a bore for Shiina. Sam couldn't help it, it was something that she knew she could always go back to and could enjoy at the same time. "Why did you come here, I don't take you for one to like video games." Shiina was always happy go lucky and she knew why from a previous conversation with her. She wished that she could have that, she was getting there, but it wasn't there yet. Life was rough sometimes, it was why she wanted to do this in the first place. To find what she liked besides games. Sam didn't have much time then given the situation, but it seemed that they had all the time in the world, at least for now. She wanted to allow herself to grow in more ways that just one or level.

  3. "If you want, you can make another one and I will lift you up, it will make the perfect one. Maybe better than mine. This one is just soo huge, frankly the smaller the better." Sam scoots closer to the heat as she feels the earth move. "Is that from you humming?" Saying this as more of a statement than a question. She knew what Shiina could do with her music, had seen it first hand a few times. Sam just didn't know that even though the hum was light, it still made amazing impact. Crossing her legs, leaning on her hands, she could feel herself sinking slightly. "So do you have a favorite song. It could be one that you have made already or what you liked listening to back home. Me personally I did listen to it, but it was mainly mute because I was always playing a intense game and I could not focus on the words." At that point she though about Lium. He was her best friend and she had just stop talking to him after he came to the house. Sam was wondering how he was doing.

  4. "Well, that is really something remarkable. I can assure you that you have been super helpful lately." Sam does a weird sit up and pushes herself forward with her feet. Falling to her hands and knees to catch herself from a whitewash, she shifts her body to look at her angel. Ripples from her clothing show upon it. Crawling to where her head was she draws a halo right above. "DONE" saying as her arms rise up in accomplishment. Eyes move to the crater of what was suppose to be an angel? "Hmm, very interesting," saying with a twist of her head. Scooting back from her angel, she takes out a canteen and another 2 containers. Marshmallows and strawberries as she pours hot chocolate in 2 cups. A few fluffy and sweet treats in each cup. Outstretching one of those cups to Shiina saying "I swear it's good. Once you get done with the chocolate yumminess you have to eat the strawberries too. It's like heaven in your mouth." Taking a sip from her cup with a delightful hum. "Have you made a song to this yet?" Taking another sip, she closes her eyes with a huge smile.

  5. From inside the snow you could hear a very muffled voice that sounded like a jumbled mess. Sam pokes her head out with a large exhale, revealing just below here chin. Her arms were stuck in this large ball of snow. Unable to move her head, she glances down at her figure. "Do I look fat to you? I think I gained a bit of weight." Just staring at Shiina with serious incentive for only a moment before they both burst out in laughter. Shiina helps her out of this situation as she places a hand on the ice and starts humming a tune. Feeling her body vibrating before it explodes. Landing on her back before sitting up swiftly. Getting to her feet, glancing around finding the eye sled, pulling it from the snow. Excitement flows over her as she peers to Shiina with a wide smile. "Let's keep going, we shall get it right." Both running up the hill which they had come down. This goes on for some time before they find themselves both lying on the snow, breath heavy with from laughing an climbing so many times.

    A chuckle as she turns her head to Shiina, "So what was going on with you in the slime kings place. Your hair color changing and all. You were pretty rad." Her arms and legs began to move against the snow. Sam was hoping to make a good snow angel.   

  6. A gasp of air as her eyes flash open as she raised up right in her bed... Head shift in every direction to assure herself that she was home this time. Gripping her covers with a cringing hiss as it drops back to her lap. Glancing down as she lifts her hands, palm up first, nothing. A flip of both, pupils grow wide. Red and dirt, paint them as her nails seemed broken apart. "That coffin, that boy." A memory reverts back, the one time that she saw that boy lying there, a smile. She was too young to understand what that really meant. "It was not my fault, he made his choice. He gave me a second chance in life and all I have managed to do is wait it so far." Sitting there staring at her injuries as they began to fade from game mechanic rules. As much as she wanted to believe it was just a dream, there was much evidence proving that it was not. Touching her shoulder where that hand was placed. A woman, white hair, how was this even possible. Soft breath comes from her lungs as everything runs through her mind. "Find her," how. She did not give a name.

    Pulling her blanket to the side, sliding her legs to the carpet, and walks to the bathroom. Turning on the faucet, she splashes her face. Tracking only worked if a name was given or an item was traded. A simple touch would not suffice. Thinking for a moment, Sam remembers that crystal ball that Simmone had laying around in their shop. She was never that interested in it until now. Would her friend allow her to use such a unique item. The only other choice was Freyd and she rather not deem herself crazy for trying to explain to him what has just transpired. Only one way to find out, as she dries her face with a hand towel. Sam makes some coffee first, then heads off to the shop.  

  7. A jerk forward as that grasp was released. Vision still blurred a sudden jolt intruded her frame. Gasping for air as she peers up to meet a face to that hand, her voice. Struggling to find her own voice as she attempts to move but can't. Her tiny hands gripped this container, nails dug deep. That searing pain of her fingertips, it hurt, but she didn't care. A gulp of nerves down her throat, it was the first voice that she had heard in here but it was muffled. The question, was it actually muffled or did she just not want to hear it. Eye shut tight as she shakes her head, a deep breath now, it was crackled but she was able to this time. It was like the shocking impact reset her nerves. Letting the coffin go, hands full of red as she glanced up at this female. Words this time, she could hear them clearly now, but it was distant and at first she was scared, speechless. Wiping her eyes with a sleeve to clear her sight, glancing back up. A white haired female, head narrows with a frown, chest still heavy, but she says "I can..." it was a tiny voice but it was there. One of a young child, her hair being as long as her tiny frame.

    Sam glances at her hands, stuck in this small shape, but her mind was as her current age... Sam didn't understand what was going on, "I was trapped in my own guilt. Never left my house again thinking that if I just stayed in my room that nothing bad would ever happen again. If I just left that ball, he would still be alive... Maybe then I wouldn't be feeling this way..." It was still the voice of a 5 year old, it was a bit trippy. This was not a normal dream, THE normal dream. All the other times the touching felt ghostly, one from the past, but when that black hand and her hand made contact, it felt real... Was she dreaming, was this actually real. "Who are you and why are you here..."

    Falling into a slumber that was well needed. One blink, two blink, three and she was out as a familiar echoing of laughter fill the streets. Children, a ball, a bounce. Sam was holding her mothers hand as she was full of happiness seeing all the kids having fun. Catching her eyes, -bounce, bounce, bounce-, Samantha yanks her hand from her mothers, "Sammy where are you going, come back here, SAM." A boy, his blue eyes, that blond hair, as he ran in her direction in panic. Picking the ball up not knowing why, an impact that pushes her backwards from this boy and his hands, eyes close, -CRASH-...

    Opening her eyes in fear, but she was not at home. Standing at a funeral, crying eyes lifting seeing that same Mausoleum. Glancing around, silence, the tears fell but it was mute. Feeling her body begin to shake. What the hell was this. Another glance around and the people were gone, she was alone... Peering at this enclosed space, steps are taken to slide the door open, she felt like she was in a horror film, was she still dreaming... Pressing her hands against the door, sliding it open slowly as small pieces of rock crunch against the frame causing some dust to fill the air. A single stair case revealed, glancing back still no one. Tiny foot steps walk hesitantly down, wrapping her arms around her chest. A shiver down her spine as she knew what would be down here, the surrounding were so familiar like it was yesterday. Last step till concrete flooring is flat beneath her feet. Choking on the air she took, like splinters with every breath. A single coffin lays in this room. A torch on both sides of the walls. Setting her hands on this structure, she just stands there. Liquid hitting this container, as she pushes the lid open... That same boy, lying there as she takes a step backward. 

    Unable to look away, -Why did I have to walk into the street, why did I have to go get that ball. I should have just kept holding on. He would still be alive if it weren't for me, why save me...- Pure blame washed over he like a ton of bricks. A numbing step forward as her legs give out, catching herself on this encasement. Vision blurred from the waterworks, a black thing comes from this boys stomach. Petrified in fear, something like fingers from this black thick line. Right then it swiftly grabs Sam's clothing that lays upon her chest...

  9. Sam's heart was racing with Kat's warmth against her body, closing her eyes as she feels a hand on her lower back. She doesn't know how long it had been since the last time they... They were off doing their own thing and even when they were together, they were exhausted and just fell asleep before anything happened. Work really did get in the way, even if they shared each others space with one another. 

    Right then she sits up in bed and pulls Katoka's small frame on top of her. Face to face, Sam wipes the tears from Kat's cheek with a single finger, with the other hand on the waist. Holding her face with that hand now she smiles. "I would not miss this chance to miss a perfect moment such as this." Sam kisses her neck, pushing the little bit of hair in the way behind the shoulder. Moving up her neck, jaw line, the cheek, reaching her lips now as she pulls Kat closer. A simple pull with the hand on the waist that wound up on her lower back. Her heart races faster, as she cradles a cheek in that hand and the warmth of their lips linked to the each other. She would not pull away this time...

  10. A shift through the others as she finds herself in the shadows, she was eyeing the dude that was not in the raid meet up and became slightly nervous. It was clear that things were going to turn around all weird after these things we disarmed so she would help with just that, at least for now. A few steps toward this large mechantical thing that she knew nothing about as she finds that Eruda, Shiina and Freya were on the other one working on it with a load of other people. Her hands move along the side of this large weapon and with a click, something inside it shifts. Moments later she finds Simmone right next to her, didn't even see Sam standing there. Or did she? This teacher of hers was a weird person but everything she knew about being a merchant was because of her. She would look forward to that day that she became as good as Simmone was. It would take a while but it was worth every second of learning from this unique individual. Keeping quite and in the dark she watches the mystery man with a keen eye.

  11. Getting to her feet with some struggle, she walks to Shiina carefully trying not to fall again. Looking down the hill that she was looking to slide down, there was a few trees in the way. Sam just smiles, "We will be fine. We have a meat shield, with those calculations that you demonstrated earlier you could take a tree. Plus, if need be I can cut it down," a grin forms on her face. Taking the sled thing, the eyeball she sets it on the ground. It started to slide as she grabs it would her foot, as her other foot began to slide with it. "Shit, Shit, SHIT," as she falls on the sled, right then she grabs Shiina and pulls her quickly on the ride as they start to slide down this hill. "Ah Shiina do you know how to control this thing," saying as tries to turn it slightly but was heading straight for a tree. A whelp from Sam as she holds onto Shiina and shifts her weight the other way skimming inches from that tree. Sam closes her eyes as her chest started to race, this was something that she had never done before, she really hoped that they didn't crash and that Shiina knew how to drive this thing...

  12. Getting to her feet, she was freezing at this point after getting pelted in the face. Covered in snow, but this was fun. With a small chuckle she grabs another handful of snow an tries to run toward the tiny tanky girl. Finding a patch of ice under all the snow, she slips backwards on her back, but the ball of ice was flies from her grip as she hears a -PLUNK- on this large defense barrier. "Oof, that was ice..." saying as she just lays there in the snow now looking up the sky. "Truce," as she sits up a realized that it was snowing now. "Oh yeah cause this place needs more snow." Hearing a giggle from under the shield looking thing. "What were you doing here, it wouldn't happen to be fun related would it. I need a little bit of that in my life right now... I don't think I know how..." Looking toward the girl as she sees a head peak up in the white wall that was created.

  13. Moving her head slightly, but the snow seemed to be really far away. Nose diving into the snow, knowing that unless she physically hide she wouldn't be able to get cover given her height. Sam forms another ball and army crawls in the snow creating a path of flat under her. Raising her head above the surface of tiny wall, she created, seeing Shiina and a makeshift shield. Seeing a small elbow, she grins, raising her arms and side, tossing the ice ball at the girls. Curving it just right, it hits the side of Shiina's face. Glancing up as she watched Shiina shift the thing in Sam's direction. "Can't hit what you can't see," saying with a giggle as she tries to move along in the snow, but slides downhill that blended in with the large amount of snow that filled this area. Popping her head up, "Wait is that a sled," as it now just dawned on her that Shiina was carrying a large round thing.

  14. Sam sitting on her butt on the ice hears a familiar voice behind her. Turning her head as she sees Shiina knee deep holding a sled of some sort... Glancing back at the ice. Was she even going to be able to get back up without falling on her butt again. A twist of her lips as she looks at the snow slightly behind her. "Snow is supposed to be fun... I wonder... " As she shifts herself around and is facing the snow now. Pushing her hands in the snow, it was cold to the touch which was to be expected. Grabbing a pile of snow in her grasp, she starts to create a snowball. A perfectly rounded soft ice ball as her eyes go to the young girl. It was apparent that Shiina had not a clue that she was there, she was focused on getting through the snow and from the looks of it, she was having some issues. Aiming the ball toward Shiina as she overhand throws this thing. It pelts Shiina in the chest and with an "OOF" she falls backwards in the snow and disappears. All that you could see was a large sled laying on top of the snow where she lay...

  15. Spreading out on her bed with a yawn, patting the other side of the bed. Her eyes flutter open and she realized that her love was already gone. "Damn..." as she rolls over to her back and practically falls out of bed. Heading downstairs and making a cup of coffee. Waiting for it to brew she sits and starts to think. The silence falls cold in the air, as she thinks about, everything that she had accomplished in this game in the time that she has been here. She had gotten stronger and has focused on the major things that mattered most. She found a love that she was madly in love with and was to wed soon and she has had a blast with her. Then she started to think about the guild. Who liked her and who didn't, or people that she wasn't really on the best terms with. Hearing the coffee sizzle with steam, she gets up and pour some into a cup. She was too damn set on the important things and she had not spent much time with the guild members that wasn't fighting or questing. Today was the day that that was going to change. She needed to start putting herself out there, and she didn't know if she was any fun but she would try... One thing that she knew she had not done was skating on the ice that filled floor 4, and after seeing Shiina on that slime filled floor, she wanted to try.

    Heading to floor 4 after getting some coffee in her system. Staring at the ice now like it was going to bite her, she realized right then that she had not the first clue how to... Taking a step forward, she falls directly on her ass. "Ouch..."

  16. The tears had stopped as she turns her head to gaze into Kat's eyes. "I am now, thanks to you." Placing a hand on Katoka's cheek, "I can't stop thinking about you during a big battle like that because most of the time it is what keeps me going when times feel like they are impossible. When I feel like I am failing, I think about you and I get this burst of confidence that brings me back up and allows me to feel like anything is possible. You are my strength, so no I will not stop thinking about you." Brushing her thumb against her cheek, "I love you so much Kat and I know that I have said it before, but it is a recurring thought that means the world to me. I really don't know where I would be without you. In a ditch maybe..." Pressing her head against Kat's as she closes her eyes. "After this floor is cleared, we are getting married. I can't go any longer without knowing that you are mine, with the exceptions of our friends that is," saying with a small chuckle. Taking a deep breath as she places her lips against Kat's softly...

  17. A small chuckle of ironic came from Sam. "I would love that, It would mean the world to me if you were." Pulling Kat into her arms now, just holding her. "I joined because I know that I could make a difference. I will be thinking about you every moment of the way, you will be the thing that keeps me going." Pulling slightly away from Kat to look into her eyes. "And I promise that is things go south, I will leave. I am there to help but I don't want to die." Leaning back into her again, "They are putting me with people that I don't know and a tank that I have not a clue of. I am terrified Katoka." Sam rarely used her full name so this would indicate that she was really scared... She knew what she was doing was the right thing, but she couldn't shake that feeling... "Can we just stay here for a while and not worry about anything for a while. I will be off early tomorrow and will most likely be going straight to the meeting spot of the boss. I just want the time remaining to be here with you, please..." Laying down on the bed with tiny tears still falling down her face, still holding Kats hand...

  18. Hearing her name at first it didn't dawn on her. Another, she knew that Kat was in the house, but Sam said nothing. Tear flooded her face as she became more scared of what would transpire with this conversation she was about to have. Feeling the bed shift slightly as she felt a hand on the back of her head. Her chest felt tight and it was getting harder to get a breath out. Without turning, "No the dragon went fine, I need to tell you something though." This was said between sniffles. Sam turns and places her head on Kat's thigh. She knew that there was no easy way to put it so she was just going to come out and say it. "I joined the Front lines with Frim Anima," she sits up now and but tilts her head down staring at the bed. "It was a very last minute thing and they needed more people and I knew that I could help. It didn't really hit me though until after the fight with the dragon. I know that we talked about it and the feelings you had against it," the room became silent... After a few minutes Sam takes Kat's hand as the tears continued, a sniffle... "God Kat please say something..."

  19. Samantha had just fought a huge dragon with Firm Anima, she was exhausted and it was very late. The sun had been down for a while and she wanders the forest around her soon the be wife's house for a while now. She was trying to figure out how to tell her that she joined the Front lines. She knew that her and Katoka had a conversation about the topic earlier, but she would have never imagined that she would have joined. She knew that she had a choice but it didn't make it any easier. Sam was so split right now, nearly in tears. Walking up to Katoka's door, unlocking the door she goes through. It was silent, was she asleep... Taking an uneasy breath, as she closes and locks it behind her. Taking off her shoes, as she makes her way to Katoka's room. Seeing the bed, still made she climbs into it and takes one of Katoka's pillow's and pulls it into her chest. "Kat, I need you," saying with a sniffle as she curls up into a ball waiting for her love to return home.

    The entire room shakes in vibration. She was still trying to wrap her head around what little Shiina helped with last time. Hopefully this time would be better. Shaking her head as she starts to glance around, "One, two, three, YOU," as she pushes herself off the wall sliding forward as fast as last time, but this time she was ready for it. She latches her axe to one of the creatures and pulls forward as she yoinks her weapon free, the next targets were not so lucky as she springs forward and swing as hard as she possible could carving into this one's chest, it slips as Sam pulls her weapon away and slides clashing with one of his twins causing a wreckage at the other end of the room. The last one, Sam grins as she forces herself to go faster and rams right into this thing with her axes blade facing forward with both hand tightly around the hilt. The creature grasps for air now and was barely able to before seeing Freya and Freyd at the corner of her right eye.

    Feeling Shiina's touch she got a surge of energy, but it was apparently way to much for Sam to handle. Sliding at higher speeds than she is use to she passed the creatures with a huge gust of wind... -SLAM- Sam was on the ground holding her head with her eyes closed. "I don't know how you do it Freya. That speed is soo, ouchy," she says in a whinny voice. She could see stars forming around her head. Using the wall to get to her feet she tries to stand still for a moment and wrap her head around what had just happened. She would try harder next time. She could feel that same energy stirring inside of her still and she knew that if she moved that it would trigger again. Sam was not going to move till she was ready this time.  A hand to her head with only one eyes closed now, she watches to see if the others would have better luck hitting these damn things

    Eruda slams her shield against the thing and then not learning the first time it goes in and slams itself against her shield causing the damn thing to split. Smiling, "It's time to rumbo," as she slides across the ground and surpasses one of the splits. Quickly jumps and turning in the air, lands flat on the good still sliding backwards now as she swings her weapon upward towards the side of it's body. This King was taken back by the impact as it stumble sideways holding it's side. Glancing to the girl who was just sliding backwards still, waves at him with a smile painted on her face. Sam eventually hits the wall behind he causing her to stop. Taking a deep breath, she was getting use to this weird excuse of a ground. She was going to start using it to her advantage if she could. Holding herself up with the wall she glancing to Raidou who had a different weapon out now. It was clear on his intention now.

  23. "I know I don't smell the best okay, just deal with it Simmone. You would have enjoyed it if you were there. Not my fault that you chose to go home after the dragon." Walking side by side with Simmone as she seemed to be holding her breath. Slimes drips of her robe, it was like a sticky paste that she couldn't seem to get rid of. "This food is not going to eat itself." Now glancing around, nope, no one she knew... "Damn, I need to get out more." With a puff of breath, Simmone makes easy conversation. She would figure she would know more people given that she was a merchant and all but most of the time it was Simmone taking care of the orders that the players needed. She took the time to get herself stronger, and getting to know the floors better. She wished though that she had taken more time to quest with people outside of her guild. Maybe then she would know more of these faces that littered the room. Standing next Simmone, she would patiently wait for her orders... Right then she closes her eyes and is gone from normal eyes view.

  24. Vanish (CD 2/3), Quick Change (CD 1/3), ID:201560 | Battle:4, Craft:5, Loot:6 (No Proc)

    Eruda being taking taken from her and Freyd blinding everyone in the room, she decides to swing blindly at where she saw the creature last. Pulling her weapon back as she tries her best to stay of her feet as she feels a connection with something. A swift few quick blinks to see where she was actually, glancing up as she finds herself face to face with the ugly slime looking king with an axe in his chest. A half smile shapes on the side of her face as the creature grabs her hilt. Right then she pushes her weapon in deeper and starts to push this thing backwards, slamming his against the wall as she pulls her weapon out of his chest and scrambles backwards. With a sliding stop she turns to see Eruda with a blush and a smile. Sam raises a brow at Raidou as he was watching his sword drift away from him. This was a very weird day that was going on forever. On the plus side though, she was actually having fun.

    Seeing everyone fall on their ass or drift around the ground or in Shiina's case, skating. She looks to the new formed dude who was yet to be scratched. It was clear that everyone was really having issues in here. Switching up her weapon as she knew that she would need it if she was not hidden. Gripping her weapon tight, she contemplates on how she was going to move without falling face first too. Taking a deep breath as she was just going to have to take a change. Beginning to move she actually managed to carve her sharp edge against this foe's back bu then had to grab the things slimey garb to catch herself from falling. "Gross, you need a shower..." saying as she regains her footing. The thing slowing looks in her direction, "Hi there," Sam says with a smile as she scurry's her way behind Eruda, having to grip to arm so that she didn't slip. This causes Eruda fall back causing Sam to come down with her. In the end... it didn't matter.
