  2. The day had begun with a matter of haste. Nari had spend her time combing the floors for anything that could be useful - an action that would likely help in the coming fight, but had also left her missing a few vital pieces that she'd only just been reminded that she needed. "We're not late yet...we're not late yet...we're not-" "You are, without a doubt, late..." The voice came across the room with a hint of humour attached to it - poking fun as much as it was pointing out the truth. Nari felt herself snarl in response, but ignored the comment, instead turning to her work.
  3. She'd forgotten about the pieces she had originally provided to the blacksmith. Her eyes lit up slightly upon seeing them, and she bit her lip as she gave a slight nod in response. Placing her hands to her side, she gave a small curtsy as she had been taught, dipping her head at the same time as she spoke. "That would be lovely, and thank you! It's always a pleasure, Vig." She gathered up the pieces before making her way back out of the shop, a smile on her face as she began changing out her equipment - a feeling of rightness in her heart. It had been a while since she'd placed the pieces
  4. The moment his face seemed to change, Nari knew that the man had made the connection. She could see the thoughts racing, the man trying to figure out who she was, right before his mind seemed to fill in the gaps. She glanced towards the home as he mentioned it, before offering her a plate at the table for some pie. There was no hesitation in her response as she gave another small curtsy - a habit she had picked up lately, thanks to her roommate. "I would be honoured and delighted to enjoy a dessert with you, as well as some time to catch up." She took a step towards the aforementioned ho
  5. Nari bit her lower lip as she considered what she would need for the coming fight. As Morningstar had hinted towards, there were field boss consumables that would be beneficial to their coming challenge - and her mind raced as she tried to figure out which would be the most beneficial. She finally clicked her tongue as she settled on the one that she felt would be best in her case, all things considered. "There's a Dark Elf that drops a useful tanking consumable...if I could get my hands on that, it would be...well, maybe not a life saver, but definitely a step towards it..." She cocked h
  6. The man had been in the middle of explaining areas that Nari might've been heading towards - one which stuck out, and she had been about to comment on, before her own outburst of recognition. The comment had seemed to shock the other man, and it took him a few moments of stumbling over his words before he had confirmed what Nari had already been suspecting. She grinned as he attempted to pinpoint her own identity, the blank stare struggling as he came up empty. After a time, he seemed to give up, admitting that he didn't recognise her and apologising slightly. Nari shook her head before
  7. Nari shrugged in response to Morningstar's enquiry. She had found that she was able to grasp it all at a higher level - a basic understanding of the ying and yang, the ways in which elements flowed one into the other, and the impacts that the order could have. But that was about where it ended. She couldn't keep up with the low level discussions that were occurring, other than to realise that they were arguing about how they would all impact one another. "I mean...probably portions that even if we took the time to explain, I'd still remain confused. I would say at this point, I just feel
  8. The fight had finished almost spectacularly as Katoka had rushed forwards to deliver the final blow. Nari couldn't help but grin at the woman's confusion, questioning whether they had been facing an actual difficult opponent, or not. She shook her head, remembering the days when she would've had issue with the creature. "Believe it or not, Katoka, yes. That was a field boss...You've just grown beyond it." She glanced over at Freyd as the man approached Nari, bringing up the topic of the coming boss fight. His offer of the pieces caused her to bite her lip, her mind considering it for a br
  9. The conversation had shifted, and Nari found herself listening, but not necessarily following the topic at hand. The entire event had transitioned into a level of planning, consideration, and thought process that Nari found herself ill-prepared for. She had known that those at the frontline were far more skilled than she was, yet she hadn't been prepared for this level of difference. Her eyes had roamed around the room, looking over the collection of faces and trying to spot those who were struggling to keep up, just as much as she was. She'd spotted the familiar blonde face earlier, but
  10. Nari wandered into the blacksmith shop with a slight frown on her face. she had become accustomed to her new build - a build which allowed her to focus on striking outwards, while not worrying about defending those around her. It had been a decent damage-based structure, but she had to admit that it had felt...unlike her. Perhaps it's time to return, after all... "Excuse me, I was hoping to get some help with a couple of pieces that I was looking to have crafted..." She quickly filled out the order forms, including both descriptor and hand drawings as a reference, hoping that it would hel

  12. They'd rushed through the floor, back into Aruyt, and onto another - a faster dash than Nari had been expecting, and she found herself wondering if she'd joined a party of windwalkers, rather than players. She remained silent as their conversation turned comparative, knowing that she had nothing of worth to add. The blonde had briefly mentioned her name, noting her weapon of a choice. Nari had reflexively swung the scythe behind herself, into a ready position, but had otherwise remained aloof to the conversation - her eyes peeled for the phoenix they were chasing down. She wasn't entire
  13. The man had released a scream as Nari had spoken, clearly taking him by surprise, and in turn had flung his companion into the water. The small ferret like creature had sprung up, however, as if nothing more than a momentary disturbance had occurred. Nari watched as it came bounding towards Mio, the kitsune flicking its three inner tails while staring at the smaller creature, a sign that Nari had come to consider as it being unsure. She focused on the kitsune for a few seconds longer than she had intended, before realising that the man in the river had continued speaking. "A friend sent m
