The previous day’s work in the forge had reinvigorated Nari’s drive towards her craft, reminding her of the enjoyment that could be found at the hammer and anvil. The clear ringing of hammer, reshaping the metal beneath her touch as she brought her creations to life. Today, she had a different idea in mind – focusing less on the creation of weapon, and more on the creation of armour and defensive sets. She knew that soon she would have to replace her own pieces, and in preparation for that determined that it was time to focus on the one piece she knew would come first.

It had been some time since Nari had taken the time to work in her forge outside of custom order requests. She had almost considered leaving the work for another day, taking the time to relax. But she knew that if she began that habit, it would only morph until her forge had been all but left behind. Her hand on the frame, she spent a few moments simply glancing over the forge, her eyes tracing the lines of every edge as she reminded herself that this was hers. Smiling softly, she made her way to the anvil, picking up her hammer as she went, the urge returning to her almost immediately.

“How do you…plan to carry me?” She giggled, already feeling half asleep as she considered the thought of NIGHT carrying her home. She knew the girl was bigger than her, physically, but the entire concept was so foreign to Nari that she couldn’t imagine it without finding herself lost in a fit of giggles. Giving a soft, half smile at Cleo, she shook her head and shrugged her left shoulder slightly. “I’ll be entirely honest, I have no idea if it’s going to help permanently. I guess…I guess it depends on how much you focus on it and keep it up.
