[PP-F1] Dont need humans to adventuring in SAO(Zita, King, Roc, Vain, Sutetchi)

Recommended Posts

Zandra was fully focused on her brewing. Zita, that sat at one of the roof beams looked down at her. She liked to sit there and watch her tamer work. But today she wasnt in the mood to just sit and stare at someone else. She wanted out to meet new faces. She flew down on the workbench and let out a cry. Zandra looked up from the root she was chopping to pieces."What is it Zita?" She said with a caring tone. The human nodded when Zita let out another couple of cries. She watched when her hand swiped in the air and a minute later she closed the screen with a smile."There, lets go to floor one and you gonna meet alot of new friends." Zandra rised and with Zita on her shoulder she exited her shop to get to first floor.

Five minutes later they exited the warp gate at the teleportation plaza off town of the beginnings. Zita immediatly opened up her mighty wings and circled above Zandra as she walked to the outer districts of the town. When she came to the café The Golden Cake she went inside to order a slice of blueberry-pie and a cup of cold lemonade. Then she sat down outside to wait for any possible friends to arrive.

Message sent to the notification board:

Hello, Zandra here.

For anyone that have a familiar that would like to get to know more familiar, me and my Zita is sitting at 'The Golden Cake' in the outer part of town of beginning. Best regards, Zandra and Zita

OOC: OP in 24 hours, then it gonna close to a PP. You must have a familiar to join this thread and you mainly gonna rp as him/her instead of your player.

It wasn't oft that the blonde even paid attention to the notification board, in fact he barely new it even existed until new quests began to spring up. Tousling a few fingers through his blonde tufts, he skimmed across the notice board in hopes of something new. Surprisingly he came a cross to notices he had previously been unaware of. One for a new quest and one posted by Zandra calling for a 'Familiar Meetup'.

Curiosity got the better of him as he pondered on it. Looking towards the counter where King slept, the blonde cracked a small grin as he decided on his course of action for the day. Knowing he hadn't taken the leopard cub out in what seemed like ages, the ex-commandant rolled out of bed and changed his attire. Keeping his rapier at the ready, he opted for just his vanity brigade cloak for this adventure. Stepping into the shop lobby, he plucked the cub from the counter and placed him atop his head. Surprisingly, this simple action alone brought Oikawa joy as his mind filled with memories of before he became a Brigadier.

With a grin splitting his feature, he began to make the short trip to the Golden Cafe. Although he was more accustomed to the Starlight Cafe, he was sure the Golden Cafe wouldn't let him down in the way of strawberry creme pie.

Calrex gave a small yawn as he exited out of the Amethyst Boutique, putting his arms up into the air before rubbing his eyes. He had decided to take a break from training as he made his way towards the safe zone, putting his hands into his jacket pockets, "Alright, what am I going to do..."

As he looked down suddenly a message appeared from Zandra. Swiping on his menu the bluenette gave a smirk as he looked upwards at his high flying peregrine falcon familiar, Roc, "Looks like we're going to take you on a play date."

The words made Roc cringe, but it did seem the falcon was up for meeting other familiars. Heading towards the teleportation circle Calrex teleported to the Starting City before making his way towards the Golden Cake. The last time he was there was when Zandra had encountered the chain quest that he and Jomei assisted her with. As they got closer the bluenette gave a nod as Roc swooped down and gently landed on his shoulder before entering inside.

Once in Roc flew off of his perch on Calrex's shoulder, landing on a nearby railing before spotting a familiar face. it was Oikawa's snow leopard cub, King. Calrex gave a friendly wave to both Zandra and Oikawa as he walked over.

Swiping open his menu the boy walked back into the safe zone of the city, he had always found he enjoyed farming on the lower levels for materials and col. It wasn't too difficult, all he had to do was basically walk past mobs that hit him and they fell within a few strikes and he got to relax while doing a good days work. He had even started making a living off of it, posting to the notification board to inform players he would go on Material farming for decent rewards in return. At first he wasn't so sure of it then came his first order for one hundred materials, he had made twenty thousand col off of that exchange. Feeling something soft brush against his legs Takneil glanced down to find his friend, Vain. A white with crimson eyes, a leather collar around his neck to show he was tame.

"Hmm?" Scrolling through the posts made by players the boy lingered on one bay someone named Zandra, a familiar meeting?. Taking a moment to ponder the idea he kneeled down and pat the wolf's head. "Hey boy, you wanna make some new friends?"

Looking up to his master the wolf seemed to have a worried expression about it, shoving his snout into the boy's arm he let out a soft whine in protest. Vain had never really had a good encounter with another's player's familiar, the last time Takneil had come across one was Ebony's own little albino wolf pup. Needless to say, that hadn't turned out to be the funnest idea for the adolescent male.

Switching to his black trench coat Takneil smiled, it was nice not be partially freezing your allies when fighting. The Eternal melody armor was wonderful in combat, not so much on making new friends. Not far behind a nervous wolf followed, it wanted nothing to do with the supposed meeting its master was on about. It was perfectly fine not having it's tailed gnawed on like a chew toy!. Remembering the sensation of the young pups teeth grinding against his Vain shook his body to remove the feeling, causing the chain on his collar to clink lightly.

"Excuse me miss? but are you Zandra?" Takneil asked asked nervously. Running a hand through his black and white hair he offered a friendly smile, turning to introduce his familiar the boy's smile faded into a frown as he saw that Vain was several paces behind. Letting out a sigh he took a seat by a semi similar man. Why did he look so familiar?...Almost drilling his gaze into the blue dawned player Takneil hurled an accusing finger at the perpetrator. "CAL?!, What are you doing out of your armor?!" Bewildered by the miracle the protege scanned for any chain mail, anything that would resemble the armor he was so familiar with. Realizing that his mentor was here the boy felt his cheek turn red with embarrassment, which meant he would find out the true reason why Takneil was here. Not deducing that his mentor may have been at the get together for the same reason the boy remained in awkward silence until someone else spoke up.

Finally catching up to his master Vain quietly pushed himself under the player, using the shadows of the chair and table to hide him...or at least his front half. Lowering his snout to the ground the white wolf let out a frustrated snort, the day was what it was. Though more accurately it was what Takneil made it for him.

Hikoru sighed as he leaned back in his chair at his store, Trinkets and Drink-It's. Not a lot of business has happened lately, and he had been completely bored out of his mind, unable to do anything. He leaned over and scratched his Ferret Familiar, Sutetchi, under the neck. The Familiar almost purred, and he gave a small smile as he picked him up. He sighed and decided to look through posts on the board and saw that there was something about Familiars that caught his eye. He opened up the post and saw that there was a Familiar meeting on the 1st Floor. He smiled and turned to his Familiar

"Want to go and make some friends?" He asked with a small smile. The Familiar gave a small squeak and climbed onto his shoulder, indicating it was a yes. He smiled and pulled on his cloak, moving over and going to the town teleporter. He made his way and went out to the edge of town. There he saw with a few familiar faces, and some new ones as well. He smiled and approached the group "Hey guys!" He said with a small laugh

When Zandra swallowed the last piece of her blueberry pie players started to arrive. First was the blacksmith that had made her first gear, Oikawa, with a cub on his head. Not that long after another male arrived that she had adventured with quite alot lately, Calrex with his Falcon. After that came someone that was completly new to her and beside him walked a white wolf. After that came a fourth male, this one had a ferret. Zandra greeted the players with a smile and invited them to sit down around the table she was sitting at.

Zita watched down when new players arrived one by one. When the black haired woman that was her tamer invited the males to join her around the table she opened up her wings and flied down with a cry. She landed on the back of the chair Zandra sat on. She let out another cry when looking at the other familiars like saying 'Lets leave the humans to their own talking, lets have some fun'. Then she lifted and slowly started to fly towards the wilderness outside of the safe-zone.

The small cafe swiveled into view as the blonde approached the area. Obviously the first one to come in sight was Zandra, as she had called up the meeting to begin with. Waving her down from outside, he entered the cafe and smiled as she came into view. The remains of some pie with blueberries in it speckled the plate as he sat down at the table she had gestured too. Not long after he had taken his seat, the two were soon joined by Calrex and his feathered companion Roc, Takneil and his familiar, that the blonde couldn't quite make out as it scurried beneath Tak's seat, and last but not least Hikoru and his ferret familiar. The group had grown rather quickly in a short amount of time and although Oikawa had met all of the owners, the familiars aside from Rohk and Zita were foreign to the cub still attached to his head.

King groggily looked up as his scenery had changed ,as well as the amount of non humans in the vicinity. The cub spotted a few familiar faces among the creatures but the rest and the one hiding were indeed foreign to him. Yawning, the little guy nudged the blonde, forcing Oikawa to look up at him. Glaring at his open lap, the blonde put two and two together as he reached for the snow leopard and placed him on his lap. King nodded to Calrex and Roc, as well as Zandra and Zita. He raised a paw at Hikoru and Takneil, as he was unfamiliar with either of them. Taking the cue, Oikawa introduced them. "King, this Takneil and Hikoru. You should know Takneil by now as he is always in our shop. Hikoru on the other hand, that guy is a scrub hehe. Just kidding Hik. Everyone, this is King, my healing familiar and living companion."

King:

Calrex gave a nod as he saw more and more people follow behind him, giving a laugh as he saw Takneil, his protege, have such a eccentric reaction to seeing the bluenette, "What? Is it that weird I'm not in the Grand Chariot? Heh. In any case, nice to see you Tak, and Hikoru as well."

Directing the group's attention to his own familiar he gave a nod, "It's a pleasure to meet all of you. This here is Roc, my trusty peregrine falcon companion whose been with me for some time now."

The dark blue bird of prey gave a bow as he displayed his former status as the third highest ranking peregrine falcon in his original group. After the bow the familiar dove off his perch before gently landing on the floor below, now moving around with the usual bird waddle-like movement.

Upon seeing that Zandra's own partner fly towards the wilderness the blue peregrine falcon looking for a second, as if in surprise before shaking its head to refocus, glancing back at the other familiars before taking off after the flying avian.

"This young man here is Vain" he motioned to the white wolf hiding beneath his seat.

Letting out a huff the white wolf pulled himself out from under his master, moving around the table he laid his crimson eyes on each familiar before him. Of course he had met Sutetchi before, it was the ferret that always took his attempts of playing as threats. Then of course King, the two hadn't been formally introduced, but on the many ventures into the cub's owner's shop he had seen him. Glancing up to the other two winged animals he tilted his head, why where they abandoning their masters?.

Looking to Takneil the wolf let out a soft whine, he didn't want to leave the boy but he also wanted to make sure the other players would see their familiars again. Licking his lips nervously he trotted off after the birds. What where they up to?.

Hikoru smiled as everyone introduced their familiars one by one, and it came upon his turn. He whistled and the small ferret hesitantly came out, eyeing each familiar and making sure to watch the jaws. He smiled and scratched his chin, then held him in his hands for everyone to see

"Everyone, this is Sutetchi, or Stitch. He's a little nervous around..." He motioned towards the large meat-eating familiars "Well, them. But he'll warm up to them eventually... He's just gotta make sure to stay away from their jaws." He said with a small laugh. He set down the familiar onto the table as he crawled around for a moment, then went down onto the ground, greeting all of the familiars in his own way of staring at them and watching their movements, so he's not eaten

Zita moved her wings up and down, felt the smooth wind blowing thru her feathers. She looked forward to this. She had always been together with Zandra, except those few moments when she went on adventure with Jomei. Then she gets time to play with his owl, Adere. But today she was gonna get some new friends. When they was about half a kilometer from the town Zandra flew down and landed on a fallen dead tree, waited for the others to come closer. When they all was there Zita looked at them again.''Hi there. I know our owners introduced us back there. But I'd like to say it more personal. Myself, Im Zita and I comes from the large mountains of floor seven.'' after listening to Zandras talk she had gotten a pretty good insight how the whole system was built around different environments on different floors.''Mostly I am resting in Zandras shop at the roof beams. But sometimes we heads back to floor seven, and she let me fly around my home.'' she finished with a move that almost looked like she bowed at the other familiars.

Oikawa nodded as the rest of the familiars were introduced. King sniffed at Sutechi before looking towards the blonde. His eyes beckoned for the okay for him to join the rest despite not being the most social of cubs. Oikawa simply nodded and watched as the grey cub trotted off to find the airborne familiars as well as the wolf that had scampered off in their direction. Padded  paws stalked the prints the wolf left behind as King found himself nearing the circle of animals. Zita, Zandra's companion, seemed to have been introducing herself more formally to everyone else. King naturally stopped and listened once he approached them. Giving a slight bow once she finished, King nodded in her direction before lowering into a sitting position waiting for the ferret to arrive.

As Roc continued to follow his fellow avian the bird of prey stopped its flight as Zita landed on the dead tree. With a quick swoop the blue peregrine falcon descended down to the ground in front. Calrex had already assumed at this point that Roc was off doing his own thing while he was inside the safe zone. Even though the two were a team, when not in combat they remained independent of each other for the most part.

Listening to the bird speak Roc gave a respectful nod. He had come from the second floor, from a flock of his own kind. His ally had braved the many trials needed in order to be considered one of the high ranks of their group, which was customary for any that wished to approach the strongest of their kin. The falcon himself was the second rank of all, as the Ultramarine Knight had valued accuracy over strength. It had been some time since he had seen his flock again, as the two rare visited the second floor since their time on the frontlines.

Having to quicken his pace as the avian's soared through the air Vain made sure to keep within sight of both parties, it had been quite a long time since he had been out on his own. Sure the wolf had certain points in time when the shop was his to play around, but his master usually kept him nearby. Slowing to a stop he tilted his head as the bird spoke. If she wanted to introduce herself why couldn't she have just done so within sight of their owners?. Listening to her the albino wolf laid down, folding paw over paw and yawned. "Vain, the only two here I am unfamiliar with are you and the other bird. Though I've caught his scent before." Glancing to the blue falcon he nodded respectfully. "Pleasure to finally put the smell to the animal." he slightly joked. Turning back to the one who had introduced herself as Zita the wolf lifted his hind leg to scratch behind his ear. "so what's with bringing us way out here?"

Sutetchi stayed on the table for a moment until most of the creatures had gone. He looked at his master, then gave a small sigh. He knew he was in some major danger here, because almost every creature there could kill him easily, and he wasn't ready for that. He scooted off, then looked back one more time. His master gave a warm smile and scratched his chin, and he nuzzled his hand happily. He pet his head, then pointed to the others. He seemed to trust them, and if his master could trust them, then he could trust them. He came over as some of them started to introduce each other, and he looked down shyly

"H-hello..." He said silently "M-my names Sutetchi... O-or Stitch, if you prefer it..." He said with a very quiet voice

  • 2 weeks later...

King's ears perked up as Vain, the alabaster wolf introduced himself. Making mention of the fact he didn't know anyone besides Roc and Zita. While Roc remained silent himself, Sutetchi, or Stitch rather, slinked into the group and hesitantly introduced himself as well. Yawning King, rose up to all fours and pawed his way tot he others, he figured if he was gonna introduce himself it'd be now or never. Once, the ferret finished, King began. "Pleasure to meet you all. I am King, familiar of Oikawa." Giving his best bowing impression, the cub then took a regal stance and allowed the rest to continue speaking. He would simply observe for the time being.

With King giving his own introduction Roc simply closed his eyes for a quick second before adding his own, "It's an honor to meet all of you. Calrex has given me the name of Roc, supposedly after the legendary bird of prey. He and I have been comrades in arms for some time since he found me on the second floor. As expected of his travels, I am familiar with a few of you, but nonetheless I am glad to re-introduce myself again under these circumstances."

Giving another nod the blue peregrine falcon looked at his familiar teammates, "As our wolf companion here has expressed, what is it Zita, that you have in mind for our little venture?"

Checking the time, the silvery haired male rose from his chair and called out to the gathering of familiars. "King we need to go." Turning to the rest of those in attendance and bowed. "My apologies guys, I just remembered I have a date with a Sub-Dungeon and a lad named Macradon, so I must be going." Offering everyone a wave, he waited for King to return so they could go.

"King we need to go." Turning at the sound of his name, the snow leopard rose to a full stance before bowing to the rest of the familiars. "Pleasure to meet you all but the bread winner calls. May we meet again," he stated as he headed back towards Oikawa.

Placing the cub on his head, the two began to make their exit.

"Huh, taking off already Oikawa? Alright, I'd best get moving too. Got to get back to some more training of course. It was nice to see you all again. Tak, be sure to keep at it, alright?"

Calrex gave a friendly smirk to his protege before giving his farewell to the other players that had gathered. Exiting shop he looked and saw Roc was still in the group as the bluenette gave a nod, "Alright Roc, we'd best get a move on."

Looking back at his partner the blue peregrine falcon gave a blink before turning back to the other familiars, "I do apologize. It appears that I might take my leave as well. We'll need to postpone the adventure for another time. Until then..."

With a short bow the bird of prey did a 180 degree turn before taking off in a single flap, dematerializing as the duo headed towards the teleportation plaza.

A white cloak flapped in the wind as the silver-haired man and his companion headed for the warp gate. Cobbled stone clattered with the sounds of steps and clamor as the duo rounded corner after corner. Weaving through clumps of players and crowded alleyways, the two finally slithered their way into the center of the settlement, thus bringing them to the warp gate. Stepping tot he flickering light, the young man began to enter and uttered "Floor Five: Urbus". Passing through the blinding light, the two vanished into near thin air.
