(Boss' Turn)

The BullBous Bow saw an opportunity, and raised up on its hind hoofs, intending to bring them crashing down on the momentarily frozen Kane. With a snort of derision, it bellowed and brought the hooves down.

Kane got lucky; just as the beast's hooves were about to strike his head, the system let him regain control of his limbs. Using a combat dodge, he rolled out of the way to the side, hoping the beast would keep its eyes on him.

Kane: 13/15

Boss: 8/15

Haine: 41/41

Miaki: 15/15

The beast was fortunately facing the back of her. So she decides to take advantage of this situation and charge. She ran towards the boss, giving it her all in the slash. Maybe she would hit correctly this time..

Result: 3 (DODGE .-. )

The beast ended up dodging her attack and she sighed.. and went back again.. maybe today wasn't her day.. she would usually hit at least ONCE at LEAST in every battle!!

Miaki thought their parties luck may have been running out as everyone started to miss. But Miaki kept up the assault on the bull. He kept dancing around the bull, staying out of its sight. He spun around and took two swipes at it both striking successfully. Miaki's eyes lit up as he saw the boss' HP go into yellow.

Parties Current HP:

Seeing his allies trying so hard inspired Kane to try harder as well. Whirling his blade aloft, he shouted a war cry at the beast. "I will live!" His blade glowing with an emerald light, Kane charged the beast, swiping up, then down as his <> skill activated.

The first swipe was deflected by the Bullbous Bow's three remaining long horns, but the latter half of the blow found a home on the back of the beast's neck, enraging it. "Alright! Keep it up!"

(Boss's Turn)

The Bullbous Bow was not a happy camper. No it was not. These players were actually pretty decent, and had driven its health into the yellow. Experiencing the behavior shift that most monsters did when their health dropped, the boss's eyes turned blood red, and it bellowed in rage. Then, it pulled a move that was quite unexpected; it leapt straight up into the air, what had to be twenty feet high, then attempted to land on Miaki!

It barely missed, crashing down an inch away from the swordman, its eyes wild. There was no telling what it would do now!

She sighed and assured herself that everything was going to be okay.. it would. Nobody would die, and that she would hit at least once this time. The bluenette exhaled and inhaled deeply, before charging at the boss, getting ready to strike.. let's see what will happen now..

Result: 4 (Dodge .-.)

The bull had gotten loose now. And had somehow managed to move aside before Haine was able to strike, but she still had more chances to go.. there was no giving up now. The bluenette ran back and waited to see what would happen next.

The bull was moving fast now. Haine and Kane were fighting their hardest keeping the beast under their thumb. Miaki dashed around the <> and slide underneath it to slash the under belly. However as he tried he slipped up and missed.

Haine: 41/41

Miaki: 15/15

Kane gritted his teeth, eyes wide. Miaki had slipped as he had attempted to slide under the beast. He was vulnerable to the Bull's flying stomp if he wasn't careful. Letting his body move in a way that felt natural, Kane stepped forward, using an unarmed attack for the first time since he got his <> skill. Planting his sword onto the ground in front of Miaki, Kane lashed out, his gloved hands illuminated in orange as his <> skill activated.

At first, the beast was able to us its horns to counter the <>, then Kane dropped into a low stance, striking out with a vicious <> Kick, connecting with the beast behind the ear, stunning it temporarily, allowing Mik-aki time to recover as Kane reclaimed his sword.

The Bullbous Bow's head was spinning from the kick, and it was down to a mere third of its health. Again it snorted and bellowed, viciously jumping straight up in the air and attempting to come down on Kane with a crushing blow!

The beast landed hard on Kane, causing him to collapse under its weight as it dealt him a critical hit. His armor barely held together as the beast trapped him under a hoof, roaring in pride. Kane's blade flew out of his hand, sticking point first into the ground a yard away. He strained, feeling the crushing pressure of the massive beast on his back, reaching for his sword vainly.

Kane: 11/15

Boss:5/15

Haine: 41/41

Miaki: 15/15

Haine gasped and started to feel nervous. Why were her attacks missing? She had to strike.. she had to somehow!! So she had to try her hardest.. And she tried her best.. She quickly charged at the boss, attempting to shove it off of Kane and hit it with a powerful strike.

Result: 8 (HIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

She pushed the bull over with all of her strength, and it landed on her back. She quickly stabbed its stomach before running back and waiting for Miaki to go next.

Boss: 4/15
