[PP-F4] Pengu Hunting (Hestia, Kimi)

It wasn't long until Hestia arrived and activated her Howl ability to draw the enemies to her, and soon after Spencer arrived by her side. The three of them against the two undead brutes made her hairs raise. As the brutes were busy with Hestia, Kimi went on to take her stance and gather energy to her legs. Once enough was gather she did a leap from behind Hestia and performed Tornado Kick which knocked both of the hunkering skeletons back a bit. "Wow these guys are sturdy that's for sure. Guess they drank a lot of milk in their time." Kimi said trying to make a witty remark. "Well at least i did some damage." Kimi said giving a shrug as she watched their health drip down a little bit. Kimi looked back at Noodle who was still with Kuro and gave him an eye that really meant "You better stay safe and out of trouble."

I glance at the duo of the undead brutes as they get kicked by kimi as i chuckle at the attack as they lose a good bit of their health from what i was able to see as i quickly follow up with my sword bursting with energy as i bend my knees and then charges forward as i spin around cutting into both mobs with one being left with a blender like multitude of cuts on it that won't disappear. I grin as the bleed icon appears along with paralyze leaving it marked for death practically with the combined efforts of the three of us. After the attack the two mobs look upon me both still having enough energy to move and both smack against my shield as the shield glows with yellow eyes as one is turned into stone with, and the other remains unaffected. The two undead creatures having some of their undead structure start to fall apart from the force of the hit against my shield. Not focusing much on the area just enough to not trip, and bump into allies. Focusing more so on making sure these undead don't smack me in the head.

Spencer nodded in agreement to what Kimi said, these guys do seem to be pretty sturdy, which he was hoping wasn't the case. He just wanted a quick and easy fight to fight some monsters and distract his mind away from Penguin finding, but it was still a little annoying that they had to fight tow hard creatures, but again, oh well. Spencer gripped his mace, and watched as Hestia went in for the attack, and he also saw that one of the creatures was bleeding and Paralyzed, which again, was nice. Spencer looked at Hestia, she was going back from her attack, so Spencer assumed that it was now his attack, which he went in for. He gripped his mace and slashed twice at the non-paralyzed one, knocking it on its butt. Spencer then smashed down on to its skull, its body laying there on the ground, motionless and a <<Stun>> icon appearing above the enemy's icon.

"Nice hit!" Kimi said excitedly as they she watched both of the Undead Brutes get stunned. "Now then." Kimi said with malicious intent in her voice. Kimi cracked her knuckles as she casually walked closer to the Brute while gathering energy to her legs. Blue energy from the air started to form and swirl around her leg until it glowed a nice teal color. Kimi then unleashed her Tornado Kick technique towards the monstrosities with as much brutal force as she could gather. She let out a little bit of frustration that has built up inside her into the kick that making it more forceful than it should've. As the hit connected she saw sparks go onto the second skeleton triggering the paralyze effect that was on it already. "Looks like its stunned again, your turn guys." Kimi said while backing off behind Hestia once more.

Time for the attack. I say with a grin on my face as my sword sparks with energy and electricity as i grin as i quickly charges towards the two enemies and then quickly spins and cuts into both of the enemies as they get afflicted once more with bleed and paralyze. After the attack i then glance back towards Kimi, and Spencer with a smile on my face. Well it looks like once again my sword has not failed me yet guys. Paralyzing and bleeding happening again. I say with a small happy chuckle as i rub the back of my head slightly as i look down at the town enemies who are flat on their butt unmoving at all as they are looking up at the sky unable to act or even move. My familiar looking at me with a amused look at my luck kicking in this fight making it so i don't even have to take a hit.

Spencer first watched as Kimi went into the battle, it seemed like she had some frustration that she was throwing out into the undead brutes, but it was for the best considering the fact that they didn't exist really and he wanted this all to be over. He then turned to watch Hestia attack the creatures also, and the monsters didn't really hurt her as well. It was funny how they can attack and fight these creatures, yet they aren't really doing much. Spencer shrugged a bit and ready'd his own attack, he kind of wanted to finish this, but their high levels wasn't going to do much. He Gripped the mace and ran into the fight, seeing the brutes focused on Hestia, so it was nice to have a cover. He went for the one closest to him, and slammed him with his mace. That was more damage than he usually used, so it was good that he was able to do 20 Damage, but paralyze was still in affect.

Kimi chuckled a little bit as she remembered that one time when Hestia and her kept stunning a evil demon box back on the ninth floor. "Hey Hestia are we going to turn this fight into the one like the mimic we fought back in the ninth floor?" Kimi said laughing. Kimi turned to Spencer and explained that she and Hestia ran into a evil little demon box, stunned and paralyzed it for most of their fight. As the Undead Brutes remained stunned Kimi casually walked up again from behind Hestia. "Noodle come here! How about you get a hit in." Kimi said jokingly as she began gathering energy for her next attack. She then performed her Tornado Kick at the hunkering monstrosities that were paralyzed. Even though the monsters was stunned Kimi slipped last minute and missed the second brute. Kimi turned around embarrassed with her cheeks flushed and walked away quickly to avoid eye contact. Kimi has never been fond of embarrassing herself like that and kinda wanted to lay down and sleep. Of course that was just how she felt and was going to do it after she finished helping Spencer.

I look towards the enemies with a grin seeing them drop once more to below half health as i quickly charges towards them once more activating my sword art as i cut into the enemies and lands safely as i grin seeing the enemies let out a loud undead groan as they get turned to stone once more along with their wounds staying to show paralyze, and bleed on them visually so. At your words i chuckle hearing the mention of the floor nine mimics. You are so right though kimi! This is turning right back to the floor nine fight. I mean the only difference this time is that we get two enemies two bully instead of the one mimic. I say jokingly to Kimi as i look over to Spencer.  And see him looking alright from what i can see i can only hope that is the case.

"Mimic fight? Sounds fun!" He smiled and watched Kimi go in for the attack, she hit one of the Bandits, but unfortunately she missed the other one. He shrugged, he knew that that could happen. He was thinking about what they were talking about in terms of the mimic, but all of the sudden Hestia went in for the attack. She went in and re-paralyzed them, and also put bleed back on them, condemning the one to death, if it had a little less health. Might as well hit that one, considering the fact that it is almost dead, if I hit it and no one else does, it will die from the bleed, not sure how long that will take though, might as well attack. He said and ran in, going to attack the first brute. He hit the first brute first in the head, then slammed down to strike the brute in the chest. He smiled as he saw its health drop severely, he then backed up to let Kimi go in for another attack.

Kimi said excitedly "This really is becoming like back then." Kimi then turned to Spencer and said, "You'll have to excuse us. This actually happens a lot of times." As she said that Kimi started making her way back to the Undead Brutes gathering once again the energy to her legs, but this time she got some to her hand. This was so she could perform her Delayed Sword technique, but as she was going to start kicking one of the she ended up slipping and falling onto the floor. At this point she just laid there waiting. "This is my life now..." Kimi said in a monotone matter, but still with a joking intent.

I look towards the creatures as i chuckle hearing Kimi mention how this is almost he usual experience for the two of us as it really is with how we fight the opponents. yeah it kinda is Spencer this is normal for us by this point. We just paralyze or stun the opponents so they never actually get a turn. It really is nice when we can get that kind of luck. I say with a smile and a chuckle as i then prepare the attack as i quickly charge at the two beasts activating my sword art as i manage to miss both of them entirely as i look down at Kimi. Are you sure you just didn't curse me with your ability to miss enemies? I ask in a joking tone also not being that scared as teh two undead enemies break free from their stone confinements, but one is on redeath's door.

Spencer nodded when Kimi said something about how this always happened to her. He assumed that because of Hestia's Mit and the ability to paralyze and cause monsters to bleed, that it isn't that difficult to work on getting quests done with her, maybe he would have to ask her to join a quest with him sometime. He made a fake pain noise when Kimi missed. He then looked up to see Hestia say something along the same lines of what Hestia said about how this was a constant thing for them. He laughed a bit and nodded. "All right, you two are lucky with that." He said then watched Hestia miss as well. Hmm maybeI can hit? shouldn't be that hard. He thought to himself and went for it. Well, it seemed like it in fact was that hard. When Spencer went to go and attack, he also slipped just like Kimi did when she missd, he skidded to a stop and quickly ran back to his fighting spot. "Dang it!"

Kimi picked herself up off the ground and faced the enemy. "Whelp lets do this." Kimi looked at the Undead Brute that was still had more Hp that its other partner and thought that she should fight that one off since the other should die from bleed. Kimi looked at Noodle and said, "Lend me your adorable strength." she let her arm out towards Noodle jokingly while gathering energy form the atmosphere to her limbs. Kimi then rushed the Undead Brute that had more hp and performed her Delayed Sword. She kept kicking the Undead Brute with such force that it backed off and couldn't retaliate eventually ending the combo with a chop to the neck making the massive hunk of bones fall to the ground. "Aha! gotcha!" Kimi said tauntingly as she sort of redeemed herself for slipping earlier. Kimi looked back at Hestia and Spencer, "I got him good guys."

I look towards the two mobs that are left as their health decreases once more into barely anything as one just outright shatters into nothing as i look at the other creature with a grin as i prep my sword art intending to end it with a classic one for myself as i quickly charge at the enemy and quickly slices into its body as it then shatters into nothing as i see two menus pop up as i nod with a smile at the results liking what i am seeing rather greatly. I then turn towards Kimi, and Spencer with a smile on my face. Nice going guys, and now we can either explore this place more, or go back to trying to find Spencer's Penguin outside of the Ruins around here. I say as i look around trying to find something that would be a sign of black and white penguins.

Spencer was ready to go in for another attack. He had no idea if Hestia and Kimi were going to kill the monsters. But, watching the two of them attack and kill them both, Spencer just nodded and kind of backed away. "Dang you two, just wow." He laughed and nodded to them, putting his shield and mace away. With the two monsters dead, he was asked about if they wanted to explore the area more or go somewhere else. "Hmmm, I'm up for exploring this area a bit more, I love ruins, whether they are virtual games or in real life, they are really cool to me and I'd love to explore them a little bit more... If that's okay?" He looked between the two of them, he was hoping they would stay in the same place. He was getting an idea that maybe... just maybe they would be around for him to find an adorable and cute penguin. Hmmm, I hope it happens soon.

"Well, i didn't do too good tripping and all." Kimi said a bit flustered as she rubbed the back of her neck. "Yeah i wanna explore the ruins a little more, its not often you find them and there are not to many in game. As far as i know though." Kimi said to Spencer before looking around a bit more. "Imma go look around." she said as she went though some of broken houses. She first started with the ones the skeletons came from and as she was exploring it she found a treasure. "Ohhh nice!" but from closer inspection it has already been picked clean of whatever it held. "Hmm guess i can't always get the good loot." Kimi said chuckled to herself. Kimi continued on to more of the houses, but all of the ones shes explored so far have been emptied and picked clean of whatever they held before.

It's fine Kimi we all mess up now and then. I say with a small chuckle to the girl as i then look at Spencer and gives a thumbs up. Give it time Spencer and soon you will be matching me in our ability to tank all that damage that could come at us. I say in a very optimistic and happy tone of voice as  i start looking around. With Kimi heading out to one of the houses i nod to Spencer. If you spot anything give us a shout we'll be on our way. And with that I make my way through the ruins once more also inspecting the different homes trying to figure out who the town use to belong to as i look at the furnishing, and home styles. Able to tell they look a bit different then the usual stuff within snowfrost as if created by another race entirely. Myself just looking around through their stuff trying to find something that could give away a culture. Just finding more so old decayed buildings not having much to give away. Anything that could've been used for evidence having been wiped away through the years of time. I sigh softly at that as i head out of this house, and then glances around the ruins able to see old buildings. then in the town a building that is taller then the rest with a weird fence blocking off part of its plot from people who would want to go in. However,  even with such a fence it has fallen into dissaray having many open spots for anybody to head into what was meant to be a restricted part.

"Sounds good, our luck hasn't been the best so far, but I'm hoping that maybe it will get a little better soon." He shrugged a bit and continued to walk. The cold was becoming to a point that he didn't really even notice it at all anymore, it was nice to be able to walk around and not be shivering the entire time. The only reason why I am used to it  is because I haven't been able to find this penguin this entire time, I feel bad to drag them along this journey for the entire time, but its nice to have some people with me, makes the trip to be a little less boring, and a lot less lonely. But where in the world could I find a penguin, I have a good feeling about the ruins, but it might be because the ruins look really cool... UGH. He was screaming in his thoughts, but he looked fine on the outside. "Sooo.... Anything you guys want to talk about? Or any stories to share?" He asked the two women. He had no idea what to talk about, and was hoping that maybe they would have an idea.

"Well i'm not too full with stories, but i did face plant a rock two or three times with a friend of mine when i finally decided to do something about not doing anything. Aside from that I don't have too many stories." Kimi said just shrugging as she passed by from house to house. Kimi looked around if she could find anything under the snow. She kicked around the snow to find anything and while doing so she kicked up a recording crystal. "Alright cool another one." Just as she said that she remembered Spencer and said, "Omg Spencer i'm so sorry for taking up the luck again. I'll remember not to go looking for materials again." Kimi had a hint of sadness in her voice as she can't go looking for materials again, but it was needed since Spencer wasn't having too much luck on his side for finding stuff.

Well i really don't have many stories unlike you Spencer. I haven't had much of a chance to actually find something really interesting in terms of a location to tell a interesting story. I say with a small shrug as i look around the group as i look at Spencer. Well want to go to that creepy building over their to see what this ruins having lying underneath? I ask Kimi, and Spencer referring to the bigger building that has a broken down fence leading to a smaller building made of stone that is weirdly in some good repair, and not falling apart at the seems. At hearing Kimi though i give her a quick one armed hug. I'm sure you're not taking his luck or anything Kim. I'm sure that these penguins are just trying to play hard to get, or something. We just need to look harder, or something to try and find them. I say optimistically not wanting to see anyone sad.
