Back upon well traversed pathways, the familiar sounds of waves mixed with the soft crunching of sand underfoot. A somber breeze danced wistfully through white hair and found itself brushing leaves on the shore. Morrighan stood in a serene outlook across that wave of blue, eagerly waiting for the moment where fates would align again. The journey was long but in her eyes it was but an instant by comparison to her past, arduous to some but simple and lacking in hers. Eyes reflected that water in a stark and sapphire blue, one that contrasted her own in a polarity to which she was beginning to recall. Seconds to minutes to days to century, time stood still and yet continued to press forward.

Most sought not, grew not and lingered upon the unfazed freeze of the physical. Trapped in the maze of walls and doors, stairs and mountains. A select few found the strength to break that stagnation, find those chains broken and in ruin. The very same that she needed. Her attention shifts upon the waves as they'd move to greet her, lapping at her heels in a rhythmic prayer. A singular bloomed flower set upon its surface, a pale pink that would be held aloft and see itself adrift. Carried upon the tides of destiny to which it knew not where it would arrive, yet it would beckon itself to rest wherever it may fall.

No truer a thought undertaken. Pieces fell into place in what would appear almost a random occurrence, those fragments of her past had been harvested and through these coming days would see themselves renewed. A faint reminder within the depths of the abyss had reinvigorated an identity lost to the tides, found again and recalled back to the forefront of her mind. It wouldn't be long now, before that person would take the shape of the mother and replace it within the eyes of the false lord. An elegant ploy to undermine the defenses placed around her. Where the divine would feign humanity, to overthrow a stolen crown.

Brushing a soft hand across Eruda's cheek, she was still sleeping. It seemed as though the time he was going out was earlier every day. When he got home, dinner would be made and set across the table. At least he got to enjoy that with her. Gathering his things quietly and heading out the door. Grabbing a few things along the way at the guild hall, the sun had not yet shown in the clouded skies above but it would be soon. A breeze within the depths of the sand showed that maybe the weather wasn’t going to be the best today but to him it did not matter. Nisa has revealed by actions last time what she was doing. To him it looked like she was gathering some form of strength. There was still a lot that was mysterious about the woman but in time those questions would be answered. Raidou just had to keep his wits about him until then, keep watching and learning. Feet fall to the shore, waves rupture the sands more violently than normal. Nisa was already here, she always was the first to arrive.

A puff of smoke, there after a yawn and what sounded like horrific music being played in the back of the shop. Simmone knew that Shiina was not that bad so it could only be Sam. Weird when did she start that. Walking to the desk to get ready to do inventory thinking that Sam was slacking off again, there was a neat stack of papers marked today's date and check marks with numbers by the audited items. How late had Sam been up, did she even sleep. It would be clear that morning duties would be done so she would meet the others in the sands. Wondering just what they would be facing today, last time it was dragons, cold environment. Same with the time before that, maybe she should grab a coat. Wondering to the back and pulling it off the chair before finally heading out. After not too long her heels sunk into the tan shards, it was actually sorta chilly today.

Getting ready to grab his spear before finding Freya lunging into his arms. Wrapping his arms around her frame, so much smaller than he was. That warmth between them was welcoming. After a moment Gaius would give her a kiss with a smile and head out. Freya had told him that he was in for a treat later, that she learned a few things from a friend but didn’t mention which one. Curious to know but he would be patient. Brionic in hand as he eventually ends up in the sands again, what a surprise. What was so special about this place that they had to keep coming here, to this specific place at this exact time. Could it be just because of that Nisa chick or was there something more that he was not getting. The winds seemed a bit heftier today, maybe it would allow him to soar higher than usual, a smirk peers on the corner of his lips just thinking about it.

Looking around in the inventory space where all the weird items were. There had to be sunscreen around here somewhere. It was going to get really hot all up in here… there… Soon??? Shiina didn’t want to fry her biscuits. “OOOH maybe some marshmallows, and…” Glancing around for something that could hold the mallow still while she roasted it. “This will do,” saying as she picks up what looks like an arrow. Looking around now for sprinkles, seeing him trying to push his way into a tiny crevice in the wall. Grabbing him by the tail and pulling as he hisses and shakes rapidly while Shiina stuffs him into the chest piece. Spending enough time here, they were probably waiting for her. Celeste had decided to leave earlier than normal given that all their journey’s led to ass crack of dawn. Taking a seat by one of the large boulders and apparently she fell asleep. Being startled awake by what sounded like the tin man, getting up quickly and pointing her large brute weapon toward the noise who was Shiina. “Wow for being so little you sure do make a lot of noise.” A yawn follows her words before glancing around seeing everyone else already there. Shrugging, at least they didn’t need to wait for her this time. Letting her swords tip fall to the ground, wondering how long she’d been out. The sun was just now starting to rise and it was a bit windy, cold even. A small shiver before looking around for the crab of all crabs to just randomly spawn in the presence of her team. It never lasted long, it was a bit fun sometimes. What she was really curious about was what they would be going up against today given that Nisahime was standing right there, and it was never a dull moment with her.

There was something different about today. Eyes were not prying her every movement. Maybe Shiina was right, that they were more inclined to help instead of focusing on what she was doing. This might be easier than Morrighan thought. They were getting ready for a fight and some were wearing coats. Expecting to be in the cold again, a smile painted lightly on her face, they will most definitely not need that where they are going today. If anything they are going to need less. The waters start to boil but not because it was hot. The creature suddenly splashes up spraying water in every direction. The team began to arm themselves with her weapons, it was a proud moment to see where their focus was, they would need it. Pacing slowly around the young soldiers in training, it would all be worth it in the end. Light splashes against her boots that never actually dampen as Morrighan strides around watching.

Clanking toward more of the group, preparing a crystal in one hand as she pushes Sprinkles head down with the other. Holding the shard in both hands now as she begins to hum, closing her eyes. Shiina’s form shifts into another before setting it on the ground beneath her feet. Raising her hands in the air as the music starts to gain tempo and with each rising beat comes a vibration upon the floor illuminating out toward her party. They all glow as they feel that surge of power boost through them. “Let's get this party started,” saying in an odd but on beat tone with the harmonic nature around them now. Radiated across the field as it gets louder and the large crab finally smashes fully out of the sands a dolphin splashing up from the water. Feet find themselves moving with the tempo, this was going to be fun.

Gripping Brionic, it was already starting to glow. This was unlike it, usually it took a moment to charge but lately it’s been almost instantaneous. It was a bit odd to say the least. Was it because of Nisahime, why his weapon was acting so weird as of late. Seeing water clatter to the ground from the crab coming to the surface. “Well I guess we are getting started right away then,” he was still confused but he wasn’t going to make his weapon wait longer than it had too. Pulling back his spear as the winds around him start to twist and twirl against his frame. His hair sporadic as Brionac flares with energy, a huge gust sends him up, lower than he was used to. With almost a sudden jerk the tip is inside the creature’s side with Gaius holding the hilt. Blink and you would have missed it.

New found sun blaring in her eyes as she tries to get her head on straight. Pulling her blade up onto her shoulder as a bag of luggage. Looking to the thing, it seems that Gaius was collecting a storm around him without all the added chaos to it. Crazy to see something like that from him, she knew that strength was in the numbers but curious to know if he was actually getting stronger. Into the storm less winds she went, the current was a bit rough to get through but she managed. Cutting through the torrents from where they aligned, Celeste would finally find connection against the creature's flesh that couldn’t be seen, maybe that meant that it couldn’t see them either, or rather would have a harder time doing so. Glancing at the sight, it was like Gaius just absorbed the winds to use them for his own accord. That has never been done before, at least to her knowledge and Simmone knew quite a bit. Twisting that blade inside her palm as her vision becomes blurred by the turmoil that fills the air. Walking straightforward to find Gaius and Celeste who was fighting to get blasted away by the strong gusted area. Simmone’s hair was fluttering out of control even with it being in a hair tie. There was much to learn from this, pulling her Rapier back and thrusting it inside the thin layer of skin from the crab. It reels back in pain as the storm starts to subside. It was much simpler to move around, at least that was what she thought before she started to hear thunder crashing in the sky above. Clouds start to fill what was once blue, as lightning flashes within the depths of the brewing storm.

Seeing the winds being sucked around Gaius, Raidou looks to the sky, raises his blade up and as he does the people can hear a storm start to transpire. Flashes in the grayed clouds above them, small rumbling echoing against Shiina magnificent music. Raidou strikes that blade against the ground at the exact moment that lightning comes bolting down upon this creature. One would call it a smite of some sort but others would perhaps see in as a new found sword art that came from within. A crater in the sands trailing the distance of the crab now. It wouldn’t be long before it was put down. Soon they would know where the next adventure with Nisahime would take them. Raidou still had his questions but at the same time the woman was showing them more of what she was doing instead of keeping the group in the dark, that he could appreciate.

*Optimal Turn Order Shift

Lightly clapping her hands togethers slowly, “Bravo bravo,” watching some of them creating chaos within the storms that they concocted by their own volition. It was clear that they had learned some new tricks since the last time they had been near one another, which really wasn’t that long ago. Wondering just what had changed to show this kind of performance today. It is the greatest that Morrighan had seen them yet and at this point she couldn’t be more proud to see such improvement. Maybe it was helping the little warriors by just allowing them to see what she was doing. If it’s not broken why fix it. Watching Firm Anima do their thing in a different way, it was amusing. Morrighan was curious to know how they would conquer the next big battle in such a heated place. Circling the group, hoping to see something more from the others.

Standard Recovery +4 EN, Recovery: 236802, CD: 4 (No Proc), Charge CD [2/3]

Although no one could see his eyes, they began to flare up but not with fire, no.  He could feel pure air moving through him. With a sort of lightness to his body, like at any moment  Gaius would float and nothing could hold him down. Gripping that spear tightly between those fingers, using the other hand to plunge deeper into the flesh of this poor creature as Brionac glows bright white beneath the palm. This causes winds to explode outward, the creature wails in agony as it was unable to move, get away. In the small area around, small lights flashing while the others make their moves. It was over before it began, but somehow this creature kept coming back for more. Gaius thought that he felt something rumble underneath but that was no tell what it was until a lightning bolt dropped on top of the thing. If this crab was actually real, its insides would be fried by now. Feeling small amounts of spasms against Brionac, he knew that it was almost over.

The gust of wind causes Simmone’s ponytail to sporadically swirl in every direction. Pushing her bangs out of her eyes now to see still very little. The giant thing was barely moving, this could be seen as it was glowing with a bright red silhouette saying -hey I’m here kill me-, making the mistresses plunge more effective in her opinion. A moving target was always harder to hit than a still one. Giving a grimace smile as the tip of the rapier pierces easily through the subject causing it to burst into nothing but small little shards in the fading winds. The weirdest part was that the skies stayed that greying color. Very curious, more so because it was clear when they first came out here. The woman couldn’t help but think that the bipolar weather was an instant reaction to a curtain white haired female's presence. Knowing that this day was yet to be over due to the several other occasions of the same crab fights, Simmone begins to dig through her inventory for the coat that was brought this time just in case.

  • Gobble Up: If the boss’ health reaches 2000, on its next turn it will skip its attack and start eating rocks. It must be hit with 3 or more Delay SAs until its next turn, otherwise it will expend it on healing 1000 HP. This can only occur once per battle.
  • Soft Skin: Once afflicted with Bleed, the effect will not wear off for the remainder of the battle.
  • Unguarded Sides: Area of Effect attacks consume twice the base energy, but deal 50% (rounded up) more damage.

Like every time before this one, the small threat was gone and now came the little buggers that always seemed to show up after the big battle. Glancing around for small pincer creatures scrambling across the sandy floors. Nothing in the waters that Celeste could tell. Looking further across the shores where the palm trees and boulders would be. Movement was seen peeling their slithering bodies toward the group. SNAKES, it was always something different. “They are coming from the trees,” wrapping themselves around the trunk to get to land. The red head woman dives right into the thick of it. Sliding across the ground causing the small specks of dry shards to explode toward the pests. Getting ready to clobber the crap out of them, they seemed unfazed as they slither right past Celeste. “Really, blind little fucks,” saying as she watches them head right for the music player. Smashing the tip of her blade into the ground with a yawn.

Eyes were closed as the little firecracker was enjoying the tune that was being hummed. Hearing Celeste’s call out, lids fly open with an instant hand pointed toward Simmone. A burst of light from the tiny fingers as the merchant would feel a sudden burst of energy against her frame. Could hear a gasp like a quick breath come from those lips. Smiling follows a chuckle and a small hiss below Shiina. The critter strikes at the small ankles, “RUDE, I wasn’t ready,” saying as it gives its last beat before exploding. “Better, BRING IT,” as the girl starts to hum a more upbeat version of what she was just singing. Dancing around the grounds as each of the snakes begin the strike with no luck of their lunges. With each slide they follow the young one toward the trap of the WANDERER. “Get them book boy,” saying as she twirls around the boy.

Raidou couldn’t help but smile. Seeing the girl enjoying herself even in the midst of small danger. There was no sense of fear in that child. Eyes peer to the trap that was set as Shiina swirls around him, the blade comes up as Rai uses the weight of the unsharpened sword to end some of the scattering creatures. Finding that Gaius was walking toward the small gathering of people, the clouds above start to rumble. Glancing up seeing a strike of lightning through the greyed skies. Wondering now if it was just a simple reaction of swinging his sword. Why would it be though, maybe it was that Nisahime was here with them enhancing their so called powers somehow. That woman was still such a mystery, one that he probably would never figure out. Raidou had to try, the man didn’t like what he didn’t understand. Standing there waiting for the other small critters to be eradicated, pulling his large weapon up to his shoulder to holster the weight.

*New Round, new order
Standard Recovery +4 EN, Recovery: 236821, CD: 12 (+8 EN), Charge Refreshed

Feet follow the beaten path toward the group as something drips on his head. Stopping as his last step feels something squishy and pop. Glancing down, finding tiny shards that remain of the small creature. “Damn, never stood a chance, is it raining?” Asking mainly to himself out loud. More of an observation than a question while it starts to sprinkle down. It started warm and sunny with little winds, now it is stormy and cloudy with a forecast of apparent rainfall. “This weather really can’t figure out what it wants to do.” Mind shifts to what Freya was doing, hopefully making food, he did just eat for coming here but the fact that his stomach was growling again meant to him that he was starving. Gaius was growing to like Freya’s food more, not really sure how she was getting better. The man wasn’t going to openly admit this to the woman he loved simply because then he would have to get over the fact that maybe she would be better than him someday. Lips twist sideways while his brows lower ever so slightly just thinking about this.

*Combat Ends, Rhino Horn Reset

Folding her arms across her chest watching the little warriors scramble around like little ants looking for the other things that could but probably not spawn. “Great observation,” commented on the question about the rain as everyone but her were getting soaked now. The water just fell off of the woman like droplets on glass. Glancing around now trying to help find what she knew wasn’t going to appear. Even if they did, no words would be spoken. It was so amusing watching the team run around like chickens with their heads cut off. Morrighan would just wait for them to figure out their lives, tapping her foot on the now soggy flooring. The map would be handed in her grasp eventually. Only then would they continue down this road of destruction. What else could be done besides watch the clock tick forward slowly. Giving a small annoying sigh, patience was not a virtue. The woman hated doing nothing but guessing if it was for a greater outcome on the other end of the spectrum, a pass would be given only this time.
