A set of cold cyan blue eyes fixated with a determinate glare, a taste of ferocity locked in and ready to pounce. Like a predator. The wind passing through that canopy makes the fog swirl and spin harmlessly through the air. Coiling with her legs around the branch beneath her, she’d drop gingerly to the one just beneath it. A soft exhale escapes her lips, damn near inaudible. Setsuna was clearly a master of her trade, and that trade was hunting. A flip of her wrist would check their surroundings, and start to confirm her equipment through her menu. With everything in order and her coordinates acknowledged, the girl was primed to fight. Thin fingers tighten the ponytail holding her hair out of her face and hopefully out of all the crap it could be dipped or splashed with in the coming battles. Such was the foolish bath-inducing ways of following Nisa, as Shiina referred to her as. Speaking of the devil incarnate, that child was keeping pace with her just as equal despite the clear height difference. “So what's on today’s agenda? Dragons, Golems again? How about a sewer?” The woman responded snidely. “Wait, I know. Celeste 1 Posted April 9 #6 Share Posted April 9 Starting Stealth | 243588, LD: 5 + 3 = 8 (Failure) The streak of red hair did a hefty job of breaking up the pale and dark greens of the backdrop, about as subtle as a bull in a china shop. Even her footfalls landed with heavy and repeated thuds as she’d begin out into the sand. A heavy looking greatsword that was totally anime size and was likely far too unwieldy to hulk around for a normal person. This dull hunk of steel that did a better job of chopping then cutting. Or crushing them flat “Alright I’m here, lets get with the stupid.” A rake of her hand across her right sleeve, flicking a leaf or piece of seaweed off her shoulder. The woman takes a few steps from her companions and begins to shore herself up like preparing for a workout. Doing a squat or two, rolling her arm to stretch out her shoulder. Hopping up and down, the revelry had her acting like a fangirl. The shattering of sand causes her to snap to attention, and without warning immediately starts to sing. The other players minus Celeste didn’t even have their weapons drawn before they started to vibrate with power. The tone escaping Shiina’s lips was clearly having an effect on not only them but the ground beneath her feet as a large red symbol ripped along the ground in a pale light. Spinning for a few seconds before locking into place, Shiina held fast on the repeated tones to keep the augmentation flowing into her companions. That line slides through in an instant, right through an array of spider-like legs on Sand’s Claw’s left side. It seems ineffective, until the small silverish blue head raises to eye level and the tiny clink of a closed katana sees it detonate. What was struck scatter into stardust and other pieces are frozen solid beneath a cascade of ice. The creature squeals in agony, turning to take a swipe at Setsuna in rebuttal. It looks as though it connects but the girl disperses in a puff of mist. As if she wasn’t even there. The creature would seem almost confused, as the girl apparates a few feet above it and starts to scatter over the top of it with a few light foot taps across its carapace. That wrist of hers rotates in a counterclockwise spin drawing the point of the weapon in her clutches up toward her target. A flick of her wrist sees it snap into position and locked on. The streak of purple rippling across its thin gilded edge like flames. Without warning, the sand explodes from the spot she’s standing as the weapon catapults her into her foe with an obscene amount of force. With the impact, the hot white flesh beneath is torn open and exposed. In another scenario it could be one hell of a delicacy but this one was trying to kill them. A tug sees that her rapier was stuck snuggly inside that mess, and she has to use her right foot to pull it free like a hatchet from a chopping block. A flicker of blue washed its surface, and he’d lift it high as a bolt of lightning would strike the point. “We’ll be done shortly.” He remarks as he walks past her, offering the phrase over his shoulder. Her feet slide apart, drawing her stance low and spreading her legs far enough to allow her knees past her shoulders as she braces on her left hand. A vorpal tear would make it appear as if she folds space or teleports through her target leaving this thin cyan line behind. A trail from her point of origin to her destination. Grinding to a halt, her blade bleeding permafrost mist in a billowing thickness that dances on the floor just like dry ice. A turn sees it find the sheathes opening, and a slow shift sees it slide close. The moment it snaps shut, the creature's wounds suddenly rip open showing the white flesh and wireframe beneath it in a seemingly volatile paper thin flesh. A wave of heat rushes down that blade seeing it surge to life, azure blue flames of fate rippling down its length to match her ire. Straight up the woman scatters, her very frame becoming an almost transparent bluish glass like opacity. Yet her body was in two places, for a split second there. Seconds after, she was in the air dropping like a meteor. A slam of that blade of hers sees the very ground shake as it is torn through that boss like a hot knife through butter. Because it basically was. A screeching was matched with the popping sound of flesh burning, as the bar started to empty out quicker than shit. What remained wasn’t much but it would be up to the rest of her party to finish the job. That sudden scattering of hers left her basically locked in place. It plants deep, causing the element to be released inside causing its legs to twitch and curl uncomfortably. The little bar denoting damage jumping into view and begging for attention. Stepping back with his weapon remaining, he’d reach for the lenses on his nose and push them back. He knew that the system would restrict his movements and actions, and his part to play in this fight was over. The swordsman would simply recall that sword of his the moment he needed to. This effect does not stacked and any further activations will refresh its duration. Gobble Up: If the boss’ health reaches 2000, on its next turn it will skip its attack and start eating rocks. It must be hit with 3 or more Delay SAs until its next turn, otherwise it will expend it on healing 1000 HP. This can only occur once per battle. Soft Skin: Once afflicted with Bleed, the effect will not wear off for the remainder of the battle. There wasn’t left in the thing when it came to resistance, causing it to shrivel up and its legs to curl inward toward its under belly. That purple color washing along that point of hers again, conveyed her intentions rather clearly, and with a matched exhale she’d jab into it twice in quick succession. Each blow stabbed sharply through a pair of soft spots near its massive jaws, slinking inside quite simply. Like a needle the injection was quick and precise. A snap of her right hand casts the sound of what sounds like a pair of shackles being slammed shut, and the toxic pile of decay has set in. The creature begins to cough up something black, small at first and then much more feverishly. Faster and faster until it stops, followed by cracking sound that would be predating a wave of air. Perking back up with the wind returning to her lungs, she looks to see what the rest of her team is doing. Simmone just poked the crab, Celeste is just slowly dragging her beeg sword. Setsuna was, who fuckin even knew. Oh, Nisa. The thought got stuck in her head like glue, looking around to find a booty growing out of the sand like a flower. Wadling over like a penguin, she’d ask the sole phrase everyone is thinking “Whatcha doin?” but the question in her case was entirely rhetorical. “Wait, I know, it's like a super secret. Maybe you’ll hit it off.” The woman added fuel to Shiina’s fire, before tugging back with her entire body. A handle attached to a chain comes rattling out with it. Held fast in her clutches, she’d look to Raidou and the others. “Really? You’d think after all this time.. Fine, be lazy.” A twist of her wrist would see it slide over her right shoulder as she’d turn around. “I get Simmone, but you lot too… Youth these days…” she grumbled as she’d begin to pull without much straining. A pop of a crab out of the sand due to the loud rumbles from that same gaggle, actively starting to flee at the first sight of a player nearby. “There’s more.” The girl yells toward the others, watching Celeste about face and starts running up to catch the stragglers. “Kill them, I’ll make sure that's the last of them.” She’d offer the red head almost like a command. An obtuse look back makes her reciprocate it “What, do you want a pretty please? Get over it.” The girl remarked as she turned her back to the primadonna and kept about her own affairs. She’d head toward the northernmost point of the beachfront. A glance into the tree cover and out toward the waves. They were a bunch of small crabs, not something that really required her direct input. And if it did, then they had bigger problems. On a CD 12, Unidentified Demonic T4 Armors are found. These rolls are not affected by buffs, and the amount of equipment found is equal to the players present in the party.
