Instead Morrighan would watch their growth. There would come a time when they were actually needed in a life and death situation and they needed to be ready. Morrighan wanted to find out if the little warriors still needed time to expand their weapon knowledge or if they got it fully down. There was something different about today, besides the obvious break that was outlined. All but one were late. Glancing around, with no view of the others. It was interesting to think that today of all days people make Morrighan wait for the entertainment. Folding arms across her face, tapping that bare foot on the silky sands. Raidou 1 Posted June 9 #2 Share Posted June 9 Hopping on one foot trying to get a shoe on, “Eruda where is my other shoe,” Raseria jumps off the sofa and runs to the kitchen. Moments later showing up in front of Raidou with the missing item. He chuckles with a pat on her head before quickly getting it on. Starting to head out the door, hearing his name being called. Turning as Eruda throws his robe over the shoulders, fixes his hair slightly, kisses him on the lips and then stuffs a piece of toast in his mouth. Taking a bite with a smile, “Thank you love you see you tonight.” Raidou was never late, but today he was. Taking out a teleport crystal after getting out the doors, and saying the location. The girl had been here for an hour. When the message from yesterday said urgent, apparently it didn’t mean that at all. A cloth was out as she stroked the blade lightly cleaning it. Most people didn’t bother doing this. Even if it could just be auto cleaned like everything else in this god forsaken game, Setsuna would do it ritually to know it got done properly. It was the same thing with repair, Griswolds shop was doing a pristine job at this. Durability wasn’t a thing either but maintenance was done anyway to be sure that the blade Setsuna wielded was not going to shatter when she was hunting in the dark by herself. Hearing snoring coming from behind her, two guesses who that was. Twisting the loop one more time around Simmone’s hand. “Really wish you’d just wake up already,” saying in an irritated voice. Pulling the child through the sands that they frequented every morning. It was clear that Shiina was not a morning person. Seeing Sprinkle hop out of the chest piece, “Felix,” before Simmone could say anything else the cat was already on his ass, biting down on the scruff on his neck. Felix hops on Shiina for a free ride. Regardless, Morrighan was hoping for a good movie not a novel. Hearing Nisa say action, slides those shoes on quickly “OOOH ME FIRST,” getting up and glancing toward the sky, “You better be filming this.” Clearing her throat, pounding on her chest. “Battlefield Overture,” words given clearly in a demanding voice as humming starts to pierce through those lips, closing her eyes as a beat begins with that metal hand and leg. High pitched sound but right on queue as red starts pulsing under those feet. An upbeat in that young voice, it was like a full musical symphony all on its own, a hand goes up as that pitch gets fast and then a large burst of energy. A shocking feeling from such a small young lad. Shiina’s team lit up like fluorescent red light bulbs, before just the ground beneath their frame’s were flashing to the beat of Shiina’s music. Pinching its huge claws while it wanders in their direction, Simmone just gives a sigh. Pulling that Rapier out, drawing a circle in the air, focusing on the creature, and with pinpoint accuracy piercing hard right through the middle. The sword art fires like a missile, upon impact the Crab wails out in pain as the attention was now on the woman in heels. Eyes sink into a glare while those lips into a grin, “I bet your life that you can’t hit me.” Scoot back just a bit, the creature was still a far distance from her and there were still 5 others that it had to get past to even consider a swing in her direction. Setsuna 0 Posted June 13 #10 Share Posted June 13 Sliding the sword back in its holder, hoping so that both feet were on the branch now. Moving some leaves out of view, right then she was gone. Anyone paying attention would see a faint flash then a frame next to the creature with a sudden large gash through it. The girl right then would be gone. Nothing more than a thin white mist and a sizzle from the crabs wound to mark that Satuna was actually there. Back up in the tree’s, a different one this time. Never take the same stance twice. They would be harder to locate if another destination was chosen. This was no PK raid, but it was something that could easily be managed. Raidou asked for Setsuna to be present and their raid was at a halt for the moment. It was getting more dangerous out there, they were stronger in numbers. Crouching down silently waiting for the next opportune moment. Celeste 1 Posted June 13 #11 Share Posted June 13 Seeing an opening that Setsuna made, she didn’t even know that the girl was here. This was usually not the sorta stuff Celeste would see the icey mistress on. That glow on the cleaver indicated that it was raring to go, which also meant, “Fuc…” as Celeste dived forward at mock speed, others would see her just vanish from where she stood. Appearing right in the thick of it, that weapon carves deep, one could see the inside of the crabs flesh before it ignites in a huge burst of dark blue flames. Cel takes the weapon out with a struggle, foot on the creature's meaty bits as she yanks back. “Holy shit, I’m never getting used to that,” backing up now, the thing was screeching in agony. This thing never stood a chance in hell. Taking a deep breath, winded from the weirdness that was her these days. Still had no idea how to control or even activate it, really did have a mind of its own. Raidou 1 Posted June 13 #12 Share Posted June 13 Raidou comes in like a wrecking ball and slams into its large shelled frame causing it to tip over on its back. Clashing against the sand, trying so hard to get back up with no advancement in those attempts. It looked like Simmone would win that bet after all. The others were doing a fair job of making its health bar tick down. This would not take much longer. Glancing at Nisahime, there was something about her today. There was no random walking around, no idea or smirking talking about what was being done today. Was there no motive or demand today, did the woman collect everything that was needed or was this just a small break period between chaos and calm. She never did something without an advantage of some sort. Even if this one time seemed normal, Raidou would be keeping a close eye for the rest of the time. The song bird seemed more amped than normal, wasn’t sure that was possible. The fire redhead used that teleport again, it really didn’t seem like it connected how to use it properly yet. The Cat was using art this time, wondering when that woman would grow into her full potential. Shadow, that girl was doing just fine, just needed to lighten up a bit. Then there was Raidou, always one eye on Morrighan. Understood why, might poof away and never be seen again, spooky. Where would Morrighan go, to the end of the map, stare out to the nothing that there was. Escape from this world was death, but then life wouldn’t continue, it was an interesting concept to think about. Being Morrighan’s warrior makes you dead but not or that is what one would think. Getting deeper into this would require more time, there was so little of that these days. A dash through the sands in speed that most people wouldn’t be able to see. Landing for a split second, finding herself on the belly. Pulling her blade out as a sword art striked up the flesh of the fabricated skin. The others would see mist transpire followed by a slash. Nothing more had been in their visuals, Setsuna was really good at what she did. If she was seen then it would give the enemy a chance to attack, Setsuna could not let that happen. It would make her vulnerable, that was the last thing she wanted to be. Sitting on a different branch, never the same tree. Whipping her blade off with the cloth while she prepares for another dive. This was too easy, a bit boring. Trying her best to stay focused, Setsuna would do what was asked of her. The Crab manages to finally flip itself back over. “Hm not sure if you're brave or just stupid. You should have just stayed down,” drawing a circle in the air, piercing her rapier through the middle as the art missiles through the air. Wailing in pain upon impact before exploding into nothing. Tiny shards fall slowly down to the ground, vanishing. “Well we all know what happens next,” saying as she looks down where the thing fell to see if any loot could be found. Eyes gleam a bit, finding little bits to pick up. A sigh given, there was no good place to go after this. The locations that Nisahime had brought them to all sucked. The last was the volcanic area and when Simmone got home there was no bathing or wine partaking, there was just head to pillow then out to sleepy land. Simmone had no idea what to expect but she really hoped that it wasn’t something shitty this time. Celeste 1 Posted June 14 #16 Share Posted June 14 Combat ended, Rhino's Horn Reset Standard Recovery +4 EN, No Recovery (out of combat) With the major threat gone for the moment, it now came the search for tiny little critters or fish that wanted to eat our feet. Sometimes they don’t even do that, there had been snails before that just sat there or made slime lines toward the group -ooohhh scary-. Glancing around looking for anything that moved toward them. It could be literally anything, maybe even an ant. Not seeing anything around her area, “There is nothing I can see,” walking around the water line, there could be something there, after a while there was absolutely squat. Kicking the sand, causing the sand to check for worms. Celeste started to get really pissed, this was the one part that was hated the most. Waiting for everything to fall into place and actually gaining nothing cause spawns are broken around this time, at least that is what it seemed like. The girl grew impatient at the thoughts that were growing in her head. Shiina 0 Posted June 14 #17 Share Posted June 14 Standard Recovery +4 EN, No Recovery (out of combat), Press the Attack CD [2/3], Press the Attack Fades The music makes a dead stop, watching the others start to look around, “SWEET were looking for the tiny stuff.” Shiina drops to the ground and starts crawling around on the sandy lot. “I will look down here,” saying as her face was literally inches from the ground. “I FOUND SOMETHING, uh wait never mind.” Unbarring the thing that was spotted it was a shell. “Cool,” readjusting as she plops on her butt. Scraping off the grains from the new toy, most people would call it trash but Shiina calls it treasure. Another collective item that could be used for the art that was being worked on back home. Shiina has more hobbies than the others might think. Coloring, arts and craft, the obvious music. All the songs that were written, it was for a reason. There was always a story to be told, it was fun. Maybe one day someone will gain interest in what Shiina does and then they can be shown. There had been bugs, snakes and plenty others to indicate it was completely random. Raidou’s eyes peeled to the ground around the trees. An area that no one was looking at. “Nothing back this way,” Raidou announces, turning to glance back toward Nisa. That woman was still just standing there, almost like this time she wasn’t waiting for anything. Every other time there had been an objective, an item or even a creature to wipe out or get. It didn’t seem like this was anything like those that took place previously. Seemed almost like Nisahime was relaxed. Raidou would not be, anything could happen and the man would keep his guard up no matter what. Traveling through the small amount of brush that lay upon the ground. Feet passing over it to make sure nothing came out. Raidou didn’t want to miss a thing. There was nothing to be sought, no special stuff that needed to be done, could have sworn that was said already. Did it have to be said more clearly in baby steps, for their tiny little head. This was not helping Morrighan’s wanting for movie action. It all came to a halt the moment the fighting stopped. Shaking her head in disappointment, they were paying too much attention to things that didn’t matter. Eyeing the ground around, there was nothing to be found, “Nothing,” saying in a dramatic sounding voice. Morrighan hoped that the crowd would show more, do more. This time around things were sorta boring and currently Morrighan was trying to figure out how to make this a happier, action movie, at this point Morrighan would even deal with romance if it meant they were doing something interesting. It was clear that people were trying to look for something but it wasn’t all the way clear what it was. This made the girl search for everything. This was the closet that came to what Setsuna actually did all night. After the tenth leap of no obvious moment from anything that wasn’t them. Turning back to the group, “Negative source,” saying silently to almost herself but somehow the girl knew that Nisahime might hear the tiny voice. Seeing the lips of the woman moved, hopefully the group got the message. Just in case she sends a quick message to Raidou saying nothing and sits. Taking out her sharpening stone, lightly brushing her blades sharp end against it waiting, listen, for anything else to happen in the near distance. It was rather nice here, very quiet, and made it easy to concentrate.
