L stood at the player notice board and noticed that three players had signed up. "Well would you look at that.." He smiled and made a poster note on top of the board next to it.

Rue walked on floor two getting closer to the goblins cave when she stopped abruptly and heard some other foot steps in the same direction. She claimed up the rock wall she was by. And seen Life. Well what do you know? She grinned and slid down the rocks to Life. Hello life she said with a smile.

Argumail walked to the post, which was were he thought the meeting would be. He looked at the sign and sighed. Argumail looked at his arm like a watch and began the long trek. He munched on his favorite meal while on the way. He continued on walk and taking breaks and it occurred to him that he would be the tank. "Oh Shita!" He whispered. He final saw Life and a familiar face.

L looked at the two and smiled "Im glad you guys could make it. Im not sure if Alkor will arrive but lets go ahead" He started to walk into the Cave, the game recognised the activity and the torches lit up as they walked passed them. The cave was dark and gloomy and the sounds of distant pests could be heard in the distance. "Lets be careful..." Just as he said that he kicked over a rock, sending an echo through the cave and 3 giant rats ran towards them in response. "Uhhh, i have a tendency to make stuff like this happen against my own will" He smiled awkwardly and rubbed the back of his head.

L smiled at his comrades one-hit "Nice, you're pretty strong" He took out his blade and swung it around as a warm up. He grinned and charged towards one of the two remaining rats blade pointing straight towards it. "Take this!" He took a large swing and caught himself unbalanced going slightly off target allowing the rat to dodge his strike and counter attack biting his leg and he grunted in pain but having no effect on his hp bar.

Late to the party as always, Alkor entered the domain of the Goblin King with his blade drawn. He hurried over to the rest of the group with his hood drawn so that his face was visible, gold eyes trained on Life. "Not the patient sort, are we?" He asked dryly, though he meant no disrespect by it.

He jumped out in front of the rest of the group toward one of the rats and sheared into it with his blade, causing it to stagger backward with a huge dent in its HP. He rose slowly and flicked his sword sideways into a defensive position. "Anyway, I'm here now."

He looked over at the new face as he ran over to finish off the job Alkor had started "Not particularly. Im glad you made it" He said with a smile finding the humour in his statement. He zig zagged past Alkor and sliced straight through the oversized vermin watching in satisfaction as it blew up into golden fragments dropping a strange ring of some sort. "Sorry about the kill steal. My name is Life but you can call me L" He reached out with an open hand still holding his smile.

"Alkor," he stated, shaking the offered hand rigidly. It wouldn't have been right to strike before someone else had the chance, so he held back. "Looks like we're off to a pretty good start," he commented, gesturing toward the strange trinket that L had procured.

He looked back to the last rat, it seemed to be unsure of it's next move being vastly outnumbered and outclassed. L smiled and stopped worrying about it for the moment considering its petrified state. "So far.. i agree, but we still have a long ways to go, this is only the entrance. There'll be plenty more loot where we're going if we're lucky enough." He turned back to see if the others wanted the honours of taking the last pest.

Man Rue thought. They had reacted and killed the rats before she even took a swipe. She sighed and then grinned. Everyone was here now. Hey Alkor! She grinned again before turning ahead of her and walking Ahead of the others

Ooh sorry I had school and chores.

L frowned that she didn't pick up on his gesture and ran over to the last rat, running his blade a long the side of its body. It squealed in pain and bit back at him once again having no effect on him as he smirked and jumped back. "You seemed to have neglected this one" He gestured to the rat once again to Rue.

In a flash of motion, Alkor whipped his blade around and ripped through the rat immediately after Life. The creature burst into a stream of data, and the golden eyed swordsman slowly sheathed his sword. "We can move on when you're ready," he informed the rest of the group matter-of-factly. Without so much as waiting for the others to discuss the situation or evaluate their progress, he started forward through the level and toward the room where the boss lurked.

Obviously, there would be more threats along the path, but Alkor felt confident that they would be able to work through the trials. Sparing a glance back toward the others, Alkor scratched his head and pocketed the material that had been dropped. Hopefully, he would be able to use it for tailoring once he made it back to the ninth floor. The youth had never been much of a people person, and it showed in all of his movements.

When he flipped his hood up, it masked his features with gilded black. His gaze fixed on the hallway ahead of them, and he let out a hot breath. There was a trickle of worry, but he let it fall off like the sweat beaded on his brow. I'll protect them, he reassured himself. It's gonna be fine.

Alkor hits for 4 damage (1+1+2), the rat's health is depleted.

The assist from the death of the rat levelled him up. He looked over at the swordsman feeling his intensity, this was going to go a long a lot more smoothly than he imagined. He moved ahead of the rest to lead the way through the cavern until they eventually reached the workshop. They all stood at the edge of their path which seemed to have turned into a cliff of some sort. The cave looked hollow and the workshop below them seemed a good few miles down. A large underground Goblin facility where they manufactured weapons. There were two options sneak around through a secret cavern and try to find the King or go straight through the horde of at least 7 goblins. "It's up to you guys, which way are we going?"

"We can do this!" Argumail said. He raised his sword up high.  He faced the first goblin and started for him. The goblin noticed Argumail advancement it screeched and barred it fang. Argumail did the same he and he advanced.

He looked at Argumail jumping down towards the workshop bewildered, he didn't expect such a headstrong attitude especially since they seemed oddly outnumbered and especially considering the challenges they still had to face. "Heh, i like your style. Lets Clean this scum up first then. At the end of the day they're just more loot for us!" He ate a loaf of bread and drank some water before he jumped down following him the goblins all seemed to notice their intrusion and lined up for battle. L charged in with Argumail head strong viciously swinging at them catching them by surprise and off guard. One of the other Goblins snapped of it's daze and ran up behind him trying to get in a sneak attack but his reactions were much too fast and blocked it with ease.

Alkor stopped short when he heard the other two talking, then turned and watched them jump without warning into the heart of a swarm of goblins. He sighed heavily and stopped beside Rue, glancing over and speaking to her briefly. "Find a safe way down," he instructed, "and meet us as quickly as you can."

No sooner had he finished than Alkor opened his inventory, selected the Twinfire Reflector that had dropped after the field boss on the ninth floor had been defeated, and equipped the aegis. It appeared strapped to his back, a perfect blend of azure and crimson that bled together at its core, where a ruby was affixed. Phoenix feathers hung from the edges of the shield, and when he took it on his right arm, it looked almost as big as he was.

"Here I come," he spat as he threw himself over the edge, wildfire in his eyes as he sailed down toward the mass of creatures below. In a blur of motion, Alkor ripped his sword from its sheath and as he tore through the air at breakneck speed, he aimed a skillful slash toward one of the monsters.

His blade bit into flesh and beat back a goblin, whereupon he landed without pretense of grace. He held the shield up and huffed, turning his gaze toward Life reproachfully. "Let's not get carried away," he told the aspiring frontliner, "we're not unkillable."

Alkor deftly lifted the Twinfire Reflector. The goblin's strike broke like a wave against the face of a seaside peak, and Alkor grunted.

Alkor deals 4 damage!

Alkor takes no damage from being struck. (4 damage mitigation: 1 from skill + 1 from armor +2 Twinfire Deflector)

L smiled as Alkor joined the midst of the battle. One of the goblins had already fallen but its body didn't blow up like he thought it would. He turned around and head into a cluster of 3 kicking two of them into his party and slashing the other one down its torso. The flame thorns from Alkors shield burnt one of goblins as it frantically attempted put them out. "You have some crazy strong items Alkor. Where'd you get those?" He looked at him from head to toe in amazement, how could someone the same level as him already be so strong. One of the two goblins he kicked back jumped back for him with its blade outstretched desperately trying to find it's mark. L simply lifted his arm and knocked the blade away from the goblins hand midair with the steel plate on his Alpha Wolf cloak. He smiled in satisfaction as the goblin flew past him falling face first into the dirt ground.

Argumail plowed through the goblins like it were nothing. He took a huge step to the side and slammed on his breaks. Then he combined that with a jump. He spun and sliced the a goblin down it back. He was going to be defeated here. "Cedar!" He said as he raised his hand in the air. A little tree popped out of the ground. The tree popped arms out of the side and feet below. It reached behind and pulled out is dual wooden axes and the rest of tree broke away to reveal a boggart.  The boggart looked around and then grimaced. He looked at Argumail and chirped,"S.S.D.D."
