When repelling a blow if it's wielder was harmed the flourished wings will shoot out from the armor, hunting down the enemy until it too had been harmed. The light reflects off of it very softly, not in a way that would blind you if you caught it the wrong way. The normally white and silver surface turns a beautiful orange and yellow colour if the setting sun manages to shine onto it.
