[OP]-The beginning (Comepleted) [F1]

The young warrior know as Beoreson was wondering the streets when he heard a familiar voice yelling. "Sound like Mack, haven't know him to get angry better go check on whats going on." thinks the young warrior. He then, walks over to where the sound is coming from. He notices that Mack is trying to smash a smaller person that he hasn't seen before. He also notices that there is a small group watching the fight. He walks over to them, avoiding getting dragged into the brawl. "The name is Beoreson. Why is Mack trying to beat that guy up?" asks the young, raven haired warrior as he points towards the other person in the fight.

I watched Rose plop Chewie down beside me as she went to investigate the problem Abalasster came across.  I looked down at the big brown baby.  The strange huffing it was making made it sound like a giant dog.  Before long, I heard a low whistle behind me, different to my own.  I spun on my heel to see Takao looking at me.  I crouched down and grabbed the bear around the torso and lifted him up, making a childish growling noise as he went.

I made my way over to Takao, whose lizard had already slithered off somewhere, possibly to the dilemma at the top of the arena.  I bent down to a knee beside him, my head turned so I could hear what he had to say and so I could watch the fight.  Still no hits were landed.  I spoke out the corner of my mouth.

"Yeah, what's up?" I asked him in a hushed tone so as not to disturb the brawlers.

Rose looked over at the new person. "Koumori doesn't trust Mack, so there settling that difference in a fist battle, dont worry they won't kill each other." She promised while helping the injured player eat and drink the water. "We need to get you medical attention." She muttered while looking over his wounds.

Looking over at Beoreson, sge gave him a smile. "The names Rose, it's nice to meet you." After that she looked over at the two fighting and saw Grave talking with Takao with Chewie between them. She brushed some hair out of her face and waited for the man to finish eating.

After taking a moment to inspect the situation at hand, Takao's familiar returned to him and climbed back up onto his shoulders. The brunet glanced up at the monster, then shifted his gaze back onto Grave. "I'm not sure exactly, but I guess somethin' happened to a player that Abalasster brought back." He glanced up at the small reptile sitting on his shoulders again, which seemed to communicate with him through various odd sounds, before turning back to Grave again. "Something about a trap in a dungeon, I guess?" Takao shrugged in his seat and sat forward, resting his arms on his knees as he returned to watching the fight where neither fighter seemed to be capable of making any headway. "It might be a better use of everybody's time to go check that out instead of... uh... this. I think we might be sitting here for a long time otherwise."

Not too long later another player walked up to us. He introduced himself as Beoreson. "Hello sir" I began. "I'm Abalasster. To answer your question, these two brutes are fighting because neither one of them can agree on anything. And beating up isn't a the word that I would use. I haven't see most of the fight, but what I have seen is people throwing fists and missing. They seem to just be acting big". I paused and though about it for a minute. Should I interrupt the brawl to call attention to this wounded stranger, and maybe plunder the dungeon, or let them fight it out. I chose the situation that made most sense to me. "Excuse me brutes" I called from the top of the Amphitheatre, making my way down towards the people below. "I think that we may have a bigger situation on our hands than your quarrel. Now if I may have you attention please. We should escort this gentleman to a safer place and learn what he has faced...

Mack missed again. Well actually I dodged him but that doesn't make any difference. I was surprised that up to this point no one had been able to land a single punch. Were we evenly matched or just horrible at fighting? Before I could give much thought to it, or another attack, I saw that another player had come and was talking Abalasster. I also noticed that no one seemed to care about the fight anymore. In all honesty neither did I. I was in it and it was boring. Plus it wasn't solving anything. We were both still mad at each other and that wasn't going to change. In any case I had to get back to it. I readied myself for my next attack when Abalasster called out to us. He said something about stopping the fight to deal with the injured player I spotted earlier. I looked again and he did seem to be in distress, it was probably more important than our charade of I fight. I relaxed my stance and turned to face our "audience", "I'm getting tired of this anyway. Ms.  Heavyweight over here isn't putting up much of a fight. What's wrong with this "gentlemen?" I said as I began walking towards the stands and away from my competetor. I hadn't look over at him once durning that whole exchange so I had no idea what his reaction would be.

Of course Koumori wanted to end the fight. He wanted to end it before he lost, but with a wager on the line there could be no end to the combat until there was a victor. Mack had every intention of being that victor. Taking a few long strides behind Koumori the hulking blonde smith brought his left hand down on Koumori's shoulder and spun the other guy around. "Duel's not done yet," the big warrior said, lifting Koumori off of the ground with his left arm as he brought his right fist back to strike and then sank it into Koumori's face before tossing the smaller warrior aside.

"First to five was the agreement," Mack growled. "Unless, of course, your mouth was writing checks you had no hope of being able to cash," he flung Koumori to one side. "One nothing, Squirt. Your move." From the stands, where he was watching, Chewie the bear roared his approval, at least as much as a grizzly cub could roar.

In all fairness, that one was my fault.  I was stupid enough to think that Mack would be civil enough to let the whole thing go. Obviously that wasn't the case. I felt a hand grab my shoulder as I was spun around. Before I could respond Mack had picked me up off the ground and delivered the mother of all sucker punches right into my face. I fell to the ground as he told me the duel would not end. At that point, he was asking for it. I wouldn't have been mad if it was in the confines of the fight but he took it too far by doing something under handed like that. Well, there goes trust. I got up on one knee and angrily clenched my fists. I wasn't into the brawl before, but now he was gonna get it. At this point Mack was still standing over me, I knew exactly what to do. Without a moments hesitation I lunged forward towards the towering man. I reached him faster than he could blink. Then I took all that forward momentum and directed it upward, jumping into the air. With force I didnt know I had, but for some reason I suspected not my max, I slammed my fist into the bottom of his jaw. His head jerked upward and he stumbled back onto the ground. Now it was my turn to stand over him and offer my cool line. "You already used that joke" I said after I aggressively spat blood on to the ground.

OOC: Fair point, we don't need to track HP for this thing, just hits. 5 bare fist hits won't be enough to kill either one of us. But, before you do that you are supposed to say: "SHORYUKEN!" :)

"Not bad, not bad at all," the soldier said, getting slowly back to his feet and regarding Koumori with narrowed eyes. He wouldn't have thought the pipsqueak could pack that much force into a single punch. Certainly, he hadn't thought that Koumori would be able to knock him on his butt. Despite himself, Mack was mildly impressed with the kid. As he got to his feet, Mack pulled up his inventory and produced a simple boar's head charm that could be worn around the neck. He tossed the charm to Koumori and activated a deer antler charm for himself. "Each of these are plus one on the accuracy. We're going to be at this all night without these since neither of us has any SP in martial arts, use it or not as you will. I'll even let you take the next swing, Squirt."

The young warrior decided to see if he could enrage the blond soldier. He was doing this for his own good. Not to see if he could get a laugh out of this, no not at all. "Hey, Mack you sure you aren't an airman?" asks the young, raven haired warrior. He then, backs away making use of the crowd as a human shield of sorts. "Wait a minute, Mack you M.O.S wouldn't happen to be 11J would it?" asks the young warrior, with a grin on his face. The young warrior hoped that the blond soldier wouldn't charge at him.

Mack got back up and, surprisingly, complemented me. Seemed that he was surprised at my ability to hit him. He fiddled around with his menu before producing two charms. He kept one to himself and gave one to me. He explained they could raise our accuracy. Well, at least he was playing fair by giving me one too. I caught it and looked at it before I put it on, deciding when the best time to use it would be. It didn't take much time to realize that time was now. Mack would be on extra guard seeing as I had just hit him, so I should raise my accuracy now to keep my streak going. I put it on slowly with a "Thanks" then got ready. Since we had been separated again I had no choice but to charge. It may seem like that's the only thing I could do but it was pretty much the only option. This time I was able to deal a blow into his right side, but he was too fast.  He swung out his arm instead of his side I got that. Obviously that would count as a block. After the punch I could here someone yelling insults at Mack. What was he thinking that was my job?

Rose yawned as she watched the two fight. Upon hearing the new guy insulting Mack, she shook her head while calling out "Seriously Mack, why do people love to insult you? It's funny but it also seems to be staged." She sat down and started watching the fight again. She was getting a bit tired though, so she sat in between two of the bleachers before curling up into a ball which looked a bit uncomfortable to most before resting her head on the lower bleacher.

Her hair covered her face, which she moved away with her hand to make a sort of makeshift pillow. Closeing her eyes, she fell into a light sleep. A part of her was worried that she was going to get robbed but for some reason, she didn't feel that theses guys would do that. Of course she could be wrong, but hopefully she wasn't.  The sound of fighting didn't bother her in the least and she thankfully didn't have any dreams.

OOC: Hate to burst your bubble, Koumori, but a 5 is a miss and not a hit. :) Check the site guide/tutorial. Hits are 6-8, crits on 9 and 10.

Mack dropped easily back in to the modified Krav Maga stance after Koumori had activated the charm. With the way the first few dice rolls for the battle had gone, the charms might not help a much but at least they'd provide some benefit for speeding up the battle. When Beoreson got himself down and in the way, in the middle of a duel no less, Mack snarled at him. Holding up a finger in Koumori's direction, even as the kid was charging in, Mack shot his right hand out and grabbed the front of the non-combatant's clothing and then flung him roughly backwards and out of the way. "Shove off, Beoreson, I'm not going to kill the brat," the blonde man growled, just managing to throw up an arm in time to block Koumori's incoming blow. It would be interesting to see how the judges would score it since it had made solid contact with Mack's arm though he had definitely been throwing a block. The hulking blacksmith responded with a devastating right cross the slammed into the side Koumori's face with enough force to half-spin the kid around.

"Yeah, might be a good idea to do something... Productive," I replied to Takao, watching Abalasster approach the combatants and attempt to stop them.  However, Mack seemed to really want to pummel Koumori, and I didn't blame him... But the brawl was getting them nowhere.  I sighed and strode back out to the fray, paying very little mind to the new arrival.

"Gentlemen," I addressed the two, "I think it's time we stop with the nonsense and do something that might give you a chance to, y'know, become friendlier," I told them, hoping they wuld listen.

What was with this guy and punching me right in the face. This time he hit me on the side of my head, sending me spinning around. I had to admit, that punch had massive force. He had to have put almost all he had on that one. Was he seriously that mad at me? I'd have to launch my counter quickly. I righted myself and examined my opponent. I wondered what would happen if I tried to fake him out. Deciding to go with it a threw a lackluster punch with my right hand at his face. He blocked this easily, but he wasn't able to block the devastating blow I delivered into his stomach. I could hear the displaced air leaving his mouth as he stepped backwards.

"Not bad, squirt," Mack rumbled, taking a few steps back from Koumori and dropping his fists for a moment. "Not bad at all, but if we continue like this I'm going to get to five points first. Care to take the next swing, see if you can double up and get on match point," the smith continued, half joking and half taunting the smaller warrior. "Go on then, take your best shot." Now no one would be able to say he hadn't given the little pipsqueak a fair shot at it.

My hit seemed to do a bit of damage to Mack. He had to step back and readjust himself before getting ready again. But instead of going on the attack, he spoke. He offered me to go again and double up. I didn't like that. "No thanks. I don't need anymore advantage. It's your turn big guy." I said as I readied myself to defend.

"With pleasure," Mack growled in a tone that was low enough so that only Koumori, and possibly Takao, would hear it. Taking two quick steps, the blonde warrior crossed the distance between himself and Koumori. Hauling his massive right fist back, he sank his knuckles into Koumori's gut, doubling the brown haired warrior over as the air was expelled from his lungs. "That's how you punch someone in the gut, squirt... I'm up by a point again. Your turn, little man."

Mack seemed glad to accept my invitation, as his fist swiftly connected with my gut. I gasped the same way as Mack just a few seconds ago when all the air was forced out. Wow that was one powerful punch. If we weren't inside a video game I'd probably have some broken ribs. Luckily, it was a video game so I recovered very quickly. Just as Mack had finished his next speech I brought my right fist up like a rocket and slammed it into his left temple. He studdered off to the side as he tried to keep his balance. "Looks like we're even again. You can give up now if you'd like"

"So, I guess I need to figure out what I'm going to do with all those mats when you pay up on the bet," Mack said, taunting the smaller fighter. If he could get Koumori good and riled up maybe the kid would do something stupid and Mack could easily pop him in the face again. The blonde warrior had to admit that it felt good every time his fist made contact with the kid's face. "Maybe if you ask nice I'll make you some armor with them, replace those hobo rags you call clothes."
