[PP-F2] A Night of Freedom.

Recommended Posts

Lowenthal looked up, and saw a familiar face. One had had not seen in a long time, and one he had thought he'd never see again. Lowenthal let out a quick audible sigh, as his face twisted into different emotions. Fear, happiness, sadness, anger. All of them hit him at once at the simple sight of this man. He smiled, and looked at Persephone. "Please, excuse me for a moment." Lowenthal said, his smile quickly fading as he made his way through the crowd. He almost shoved a man wearing a red headband out of the way. And Lowenthal didn't care. All he cared about what a single question. A single question that had been haunting his mind since the first day. Lowenthal walked over to the man he knew as Clarence, and grabbed him by his shoulder. Spinning him around Lowenthal could barely hold himself together, as he looked into the man's velvet eyes. Lowenthal struggled with his words, but finally got ahold of them. "Why?" He asked him. "Why?" He asked again, more angry then the first.

"Probably me! I do't have portion control!" she laughed as she turned to scout out the food. When Shirosu arrived at the buffet she glanced around to make sure no one was near then whispered,"Gin, here's a little tidbit" in a second her fox fur scarf came to life and snatched up a few pieces of food off her plate before resuming his position as one of a decoration. The fox had looked so pitiful as she left so she had said he could come if he acted as a scarf, with hesitation he had displayed is "Dead" skills and made a beautiful accessory. After she had filled her plate she decided to be a slight wall flower and observe the other party goers. She watched all the couples and grinned at the thought the rucks she could cause by acting immature, but she held herself back from singing a childish song really loudly and pacified her mind with singing them in her head.

Maybe I should just leave. Coming here was a mistake and all I can think of is Lowenthal. I can't see him. He wont turn out like the others.... How would I even explain it to him.... His emotions swirled and his heart sank but he was thrown from his turmoil and put into another one. The man he loved but also didn't want to see was standing right in front of him. Clarence went to open his mouth but closed it again, his body not being able to form words. His body screamed and he didn't know what to do. "I..." Clarence muttered but his body couldn't stand it any more. His legs went weak and he collapsed into Lowenthal. "Lowenthal I- I don't know how to explain I.." He sobbed and his body was racked with crying. I am a horrible person. He deserves someone better than me.... Clarence cried and laid against him, what he needed for weeks."You don't deserve this..."

As he scanned the crowd, Mack noticed something that was decidedly odd. Though, perhaps, it wasn't all that odd. Lowenthal, whom Mack knew could be a bit prickly from time to time, was confronting someone else with whom the ginger-headed Grandmaster was unfamiliar. With a grunt, Mack began crossing the crowded party area in the direction of Lowenthal. There was no need for things to dissolve into some kind of fisticuff. Not the least reason being that Mack still had plans for the party that might not come to fruition if Lowenthal started throwing punches which he looked about half likely to do.

"What seems to be the problem Lowenthal," the hulking man asked, resting one hand gently on Lowenthal's right shoulder as the man that the Guildmaster of the Velvet Room was confronting collapsed into tears, of all things, and sobbed into Lowenthal's chest. "Anything I can help you with? This is supposed to be a celebration," Mack said in a low tone, looking distinctly uncomfortable as this had just become a situation that he suspected he was woefully unprepared to address. "If it's a matter of some slight to you, your guild, or this gentleman here the Crimson Blades stand ready to assist our allies."

Jomei grinned wide at Lee when he told Jomei he had been opening up to leaving more, "Thats great lad! Maybe we can get you out fighting with Lowe and I sooner than later." he laughed, patting the man on the shoulder. He hoped he was not scaring him back onto Floor One with that comment. He then turned to his lady companion with a bright smile, "And Piera, I have to admit, you look beautiful." he rubbed the back of his neck. She must have noticed Jomei's saddened look. He had a lot on his mind when it came to this type of thing.. not only was his heart slightly torn between Opal's sweet side and Carmine.. but Carmine was still nowhere to be found, and Opal was on the arm of another man. Piera then picked Jomei out of his rut, telling him to go find some girl to call his date. He smirked and shook his head, "No need lass. I only need my friends. Besides, from the looks of it... I must be one of the only ones who did not get the plus one remark." he chuckled.

He felt a hand on his shoulder, turning around revealed it to be X. "Oh hey there lad, didn't recognize you without the headband." he said with a grin. "Hah, well.. Zel is a pretty sophisticated guy it seems." he looked towards the blonde haired man with a nod. He then mentioned the fact that Zel was depending on the use of simple recording crystals, rather than asking the two performers to play at his party. "You know.. thats a good point." he scratched at the hairs on his chin, "Maybe if you want we can brin-" Jomei's statement was interrupted by Lowenthal, who literally plowed through X on some type of mission. Looking in Lowenthal's direction, he noticed the familiar brown hair of Clarence. ".. oh boy.." he said under his breath. He placed an apologetic hand on X's shoulder before running after the man, who was already yelling something to Clarence.

By the time Jomei had gotten to their position, Clarence had already collapsed into Lowenthal's arms, sobbing. Jomei's eyebrows pinched, feeling bad for the boy who truly looked a wreck. Slowly approaching the two, a large man in a red suit seemed to step in the way, not realizing Jomei's approach. Mack, the man in the suit, seemed to not know exactly what was going on, and persisted to see if he could help Lowenthal in any way. Jomei placed his hands on Mack's shoulders, "Lets.. leave these two alone, shall we Mack?" he said, laughing sheepishly. He decided to bring the large man back in the direction he came from to where Piera and Lee were. "Mack, lad. Its good to see you. And a nice suit I gotta say."By now the two were walking back up to where the brunette and her date stood, "Hey Piera, look who I found." he said, pointing his thumb in Mack's direction.

Piera's eyebrows rose as she saw a mix of emotions as she looked back at Lowenthal, still not sure what he saw but certain that it couldn't be anything good as he excused himself from his date before making his way through the crowd. She didn't pay attention to who the ginger swordsman was speaking with or what about as she craned her neck to see where Lowenthal was going and more importantly, who he was going to. Meeting Jomei's eyes with concern in her own, the brunette looked back after their friend and leader as he approached Clarence. At first she thought that it was best to stay out of it, but Jomei was already rushing after his best friend. If anyone could handle it, he could. But that didn't mean she would stop watching, completely ignoring Lee other than clasping his hand tightly. She desperately hoped that things didn't go badly for her friend and guildmate, regardless of how it ultimately turned out.

And then she caught sight of Mack approaching the odd couple. Grimacing she muttered, "F***, Mack." The brunette took one step forward but saw that Jomei was already on the situation, catching the large red head's attention and directing him over to them. Mouth twisting in a half smile, half grimace, the alchemist nodded as Jomei announced at who he had 'found'. "I can see. You look....Crimson-er than usual." Noting his predominantly red suit before offering a true friendly smile, "I hope you're enjoying the party. It's best to leave them to themselves unless things get out of hand. Which I'm sure they won't. Oh um, sorry." Piera suddenly realized that this was the first time that her boyfriend and her friend had met. "Lee this is Mack, leader of the Crimson Blades. And Mack, this is Lee, my boyfriend." Her glance between the two men clearly said 'play nice'.

While talking with Jomei when Azide came over and asked me a bunch of questions about girls or whatever. Never you mind about my harem hahaha and yeah all the girls look stunning, a lot of them really went all out. I told Azide starting to have a good time. Jomei then joked about how he didn't recognize me without the headband which i actually didn't realize was one of my more predominant features. I thought for sure the scar would get peoples attention but I've never even had to tell people the story behind it. Just then a guy ran into me making me spill my drink in Azide's direction. My martial arts skill then activated by accident and my glass was crushed in my fist leaving shards of glass piercing through my hand. Agh damn it! I said as i got angrier and angrier. I then felt a hand on my shoulder i pushed away angrily before i got myself fully under control. Again i was reminded of a memory from a party in the real world, one where i got into a fight. With out realizing it my hand went back into a fist crunching the glass further into my hand.

Let it go... let it go... I told myself trying to resist this urge i had. I then looked up at where the player was and noticed he was causing a scene I really didn't care about it; I just needed to...punch... something. Instead of going for the players face like i wanted to I instead went over to a table and slammed down hard making the immortal object notification pop up as the food on the table jumped up then landed back into place. I then opened my hand as the glass shards durability wore out and they exploded into blue crystals but left my hand wounded. Without knowing what to do next i decided it be best if i calmed myself down and then walk over to notify Zel of this scene. Hey zel, some people are causing a scene, want me to ask them to leave? I asked Zel not wanting him to have to deal with such things on his birthday like me starting a fight. Man out of all the people in this party this dude had to choose me to shove out of the way so he can go argue with his boyfriend or whatever.

The four had been bantering back and forth at this point for awhile now. As Lawfer looked over to his honey eyed date, he smiled. He knew this was not what she was looking for, she had escaped her hellish training for a night and they were spending most of it chatting. Lawfer turned back to his Vasth and Miriko. "I will say that it was definitely a pleasure talking to you Vasth. Let's train together real soon. Us spear bearers have to stick together." He commented as he turned to Miriko. "Miriko, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you. Take care of my boy here. He's a great guy." Lawfer said as he took a swig of his bubbly. "I'll see you two around, make sure to stay out of trouble, and if you need a ride shoot me a message." He said with a laugh. Turning from the cute younger couple, Lawfer escorted his back haired beauty away from the crowd.

Leaning over to Opal, he whispered in her ear. "Well I do believe it's your turn to have some fun. We can do anything you want. We can go find some of your friends you are dying to see, or we can grab some more drinks and food, or I can sweep you off your feet on the dance floor." Lawfer paused for a moment to wink. "There is a warning though, once we start dancing, you wont be able to keep your hands of me." The golden haired spear bearer smiled as he leaned back and stared into the woman's eyes. "I know you probably wont have anymore time off, so I want to make sure you get to do everything you want to before coming back. So whatever you want to do, I'm all in." He finished as he smiled once more. By this point, his cheeks were burning from smiling so much.

"What do you mean Jomei," the hulking Grandmaster of the Crimson Blades asked, not immediately comprehending what it was that Jomei meant until he laughed. "Oh... Oh!" Finally, the massive man cottoned on to the point that Jomei was trying to make and he allowed himself to be led away by the other member of the Velvet Room without further comment. The only problem was that Jomei was leading him straight in the direction of Piera and Lee and it was not yet that time in the evening when Mack intended to ask the extremely shapely alchemist to dance with him. "Glad you approve of the suit, it certainly says Crimson Blades, does it not," he asked a moment before Jomei was announcing his presence to Piera and the others with her, namely Lee.

"Evening Piera, lovely party," Mack said expansively, crossing his arms over his broad chest as he regarded both Piera and Lee, his grey eyes lingering a little longer than was necessary on Piera's black clad form. "I'm glad you like the zoot suit, nothing makes a statement quite like it. Other than maybe my dress blues," he continued, a small smile gracing his features as he shot a split second look at Lee that clearly said 'your move'. Of course, before the other man could get in a response Mack neatly continued the conversation forward. "And so you're the famous Lee, junior member of the Velvet Room," the enormous man said, offering a giant hand to Lee to shake. "Mack, Grandmaster of the Crimson Blades, and here I thought I'd met all of the members of the Velvet Room. A pleasure," Mack continued, doing his best to sound genuinely pleased at the meeting.

Vasth smiled, as he held Miriko's hand "Yes, she is, looking good the both of you ," Vasth smiled, "It's pretty crowded eh?" Vasth said to the guys. Vasth saw a few people start to dance, Vasth smiled to Miriko "Mirko, let go and dance," As Vasth walked away with Miriko onto the dance floor, he said to Opal and Lawfer "See you guys on the dance floor," As they got to the dance floor, Vasth placed his hand on her hip and held her hand up. Vasth grinned "Let's dance!"

Miriko giggled as Vasth got ready to dance. "I never knew that dragons could dance." She teased , as she placed her slender hand on Vasth's arm. Vasth took the lead and they started to slowly dance, keeping with the slow beat of music in the background. After a while of dancing, Miriko reached up and kissed Vasth. His lips tasted like mint icecream she used to eat as a child. She whispered just so only Vasth could here it "I love you Vasth." Her amber eyes met Vasth's Emerald eyes. She quickly adverted her gaze, relising she was staring. Her cheeks were dusted with a rosey pink colour.

Her eyes landed on a table of food and her stomach grumbled. "Can we go eat something? Im really hungry, I have barely eaten today." Miriko barely ate until she was really hungry. Somedays she would even go without eating at all. Miriko took Vasth's hand and dragged him towards the the tables piled with food. Wow this food looks delicious. Her amber eyes seemed to sparkle.

They had stemmed up a pleasant conversation, Lawfer had been nice enough to hand Opal a glass of champagne and she was grateful for it. She leaned in and gave him a small kiss on the cheek as a thank you. The conversation dwindled as Vasth had asked his date to dance with him and Opal was being lead towards elsewhere. She was sipping on her champagne when she saw from a short distance that Lowenthal had emerged from the Velvet Room group and over towards another player, the shouts were excessive and the drama had unfurled. Opal looked over to Lawfer to see what was going on, he looked back and shook his head. Neither one of them had any idea what was going on but it ended up with Mack and Jomei following suit and making a larger scene. The woman sighed and looked up her date for the evening, "I hope those two get things worked out. I am expecting that to be someone close to Lowenthal..."

Lawfer had expressed his desire to allow Opal the chance to chose what to do next, she mused in her head of the naughty things she wanted to do with him but this was a bit too public..well, maybe if there was more people crowding around she could possibly slip in a touch of something or another. She smiled back at him not revealing her sexual desires to him, but she had thought about him plenty of times back in the mountains, some nights were just too much to bear and she had to get some stress out one way or another.

"Well, I guess we could dance...I wanna say hi to the others though. Oh...and whatever you do, don't let Mack get his hands on me. I understand he is your Guild Leader and all, but that doesn't give him any rights to me. Its a long story and something I have thought about during training. Just...make sure you step in if he gets a little touchy feely, alright?"

In any case, Opal and Lawfer walked back towards the others that had been sitting and eating and hanging out. Eventually they came up to the small group and she wore the biggest smile on her face to everyone. "O.M.G guy!" Opal exclaimed, "You guys all look absolutely terrific! I guess we know how to do up a party, don't we? How has everyone been?...Hi Jomei..." she said waving a small hand at him. She had been gone maybe a week or two at most, maybe even a little longer than that if just by barely by a small margin. But it was great to see everyone again...it really was. She felt so happy to see them all again.

Lee would turn his attentions to Lowenthal as she broke from the group from what he would assume to be in favor of meeting someone else at the party. Piera seemed to take note of some other player that gave her a rather sour look up on her face. Lee would glance between her and this other person and wonder just what one had to do in order to get that kinda look other than himself. Lee would then bring his attentions back to Jomei as he spoke about going out with him and Lowenthal to which he would shake his head in confirmation "Yeah, I think that I would be up for that completely." Lee would then bring his attention to the player with a scar that came down his right eye on his face who crushed a glass and in what would only be thought of as a temper problem, crushed a glass and soon would attack a table which would cause Lee to lean down and whisper in Piera's ear. "Da fu*k."

It would seem that Lowenthal moved the player out of the way in a less than pleasant way in order to meet with Clarence in a lovers quarrel. Lee knew far better than to try and interject himself between such a thing though it was not the same common sense that others were aware of. A large red player would aim to try and place himself into the couples area but with Jomei quick to the scene, he would take the player and bring him in the direction of, none other than them. Piera would be the first to comment on the overall color pallet of the player of whom would go by the name of Mack. The name rang several annoying and less than pleasing bells.

As Piera would introduce them as their respective titles he would have a neutral appearance on his face but his own neutral face seemed to have more of an angry look to it. He wasn't aware of the look of which Piera had given but was fully aware of the look that Mack shot him to which he would reward with simply continuing his stare. Mack would continue with little pause as he would speak of Lee as a member of the Velvet Room to which he would interject with a risen fight "Former. I'm currently on leave to accomplish some things." He would literally feel the oozing negativeness in the word 'junior', aiming to set the bar between grandmaster and junior that Lee would simply rather not have any part of.

As Mack offered his hand, Lee would return the gesture with a hand of his own "It's good to finally have a face to the name." While Lee was not as wide as Mack , they were actually just a few inches different in height. Lee would then look Mack from his hat to the shoes "That is quite the suit. Reminds me of a movie I used to watch, it was actually pretty good." Lee would then let only his eyes shift to someone he had not seen before come to the small group and seemed to know the majority of them though her chest was the most ample feature in the dress. Lee would then wait for someone to speak the person's name as he retracted his hand from Mack and only to find its place intertwined in Piera's once more.

Kalesh grinned at her insistence "You have no prooooof~" he looked down at the lovely green and orange themed lady as he held her hips and danced with her, saying to her with a tone of curiosity "Forever? That's a long time. A loooong time." He smiles softly to her and said "Perhaps we would be better discussing that when not dancing, or maybe alone~" He winks not making any moves to stop their dance however as he looked to her. "And what kind of pampering? Food? Pettings? Belly rubs?~" He grinned, listing off various ways one would pamper their pets, playfully poking some fun as they held each other so closely. "And 'you're welcome' would be fine if you ask me, Lady Lia." He winks to her, it not being a secret he was enjoying having her company.

When she questioned if he was bored he quickly shook his head "Preposterous!" He said while watching her undo her ponytail, nibbling his lip as he watched her let her hair down. "U-uhm... returning the favor?" He chuckled softly as he kept blushing a bit, perversion undeniably going through his mind before he said. "IIIIII'm not sure." He chuckled softly "It's hard to think of something I wouldn't enjoy you doing for me." He chuckled and shrugged his shoulders before saying "I guess you could... pamper me as well?" He smiled a little nervously as his hand moved back to her hair to gently stroke her lovely hair, proving he wasn't 'bored' as she had suggested.

Despite the focus he had on her up until now he did hear the sound of a commotion, his eyes glancing to the side a moment to realize that there was a building storm of some kind before chuckling and looking to her and leaning in to whisper into Lia's ear "Jeez~ Making a scene when they could find a cute person to dance with... I'm happy I'm smarter than that or I'd be missing out~" he winked to his date.

"A long time is exactly what I want~" Eulalia replied, turning Kalesh's words around. "And I'd love it if we could be alone, just the two of us..." Lia mused, zoning out somewhat.  What am I saying?!  I just made that sound so naughty... She scolded herself, looking down at the grass beneath their feet.  Kalesh's question brought the viridian female's eyes back up to her partner. "Call me strange, but all three of those would be nice... Maybe even all three, y'know?" She teased back, almost drooling at the thought.

Kalesh's reaction elicited a giggle from Lia; she could see the 'testosterone' gears whirring in his brain. "I'd happily pamper a man such as yourself... I guess we can just take turns, huh?" She suggested, grinning impishly.  She leaned her head back on Kalesh's chest as the redhead began to stroke her hair once more.  She started to run two fingers through the bundle of crimson hair at her partner's back, twirling it around and rubbing it in between her fingers.  Even though she thought the ponytail looked rather attractive, she couldn't hellp but desire to just take it out and stroke the full width, but she denied her impulses and stuck with the substitute.

Kalesh brought the recently ongoing conflict to Lia's attention and she shifted her head to get a clear look of the situation.  There was a bunch of people grouped up, and one player seemed to be confronting the other.  The latter soon collapsed into the former's arms, crying... Lia's heart pounded at her lack of knowledge of what the situation might have been. "Y-yeah..." She replied to Kalesh, not exactly focused on his compliment.  She turned her head upwards, worry swimming in her eyes like a fish in a malachite pool. "K-Kalesh... Can we maybe... G-go somewhere else?" She pleaded, hoping Kalesh'd understand the reason she wanted to relocate.

He nodded softly, a grin glued to his face as she said such things to him, especially when she said she would probably enjoy being pet and so forth. He couldn't help but chuckle and say "Hmm... It wouldn't be so bad to just have the two of us, but this is a party~" He winked as his arm wrapped behind her to give her a close hug. "And I can understand liking the idea of those... The attention would be nice." While looking to Lia he also added "And we aren't getting out of this game any day now, we have a fair amount of time I think." he winks to her teasingly, sure that could be taken any number of ways but he hoped for a positive way from her.

His lecherous mind couldn't deny that what she was saying sounded pleasant, both with and without the perversion in his head being included. He was a bit lazy so having a lovely lady pampering him while he relaxed was nothing short of heaven to him. "Turns sounds nice, actually." He smiled as he started to pet her like he had suggested, his head stroking from the top of her head back and through her hair before repeating, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he judged her actual reaction to the touch. He noticed her attention with his hair, and seeing how she had gotten rid of her ponytail he shrugged and only thought it fair he do the same. He reaches back and tugs the tie on the leather strip and his hair comes undone. He does give his head a few quick shakes to get his hair in front into a more natural position as well, the long hair waving a bit from the movement.

When asked if they could move, he nodded softly to her. He didn't quite understand the reasons but he knew that some people would rather stay away from conflict so Kalesh happily took Lia's hand and leads her away from the dance floor and the conflict and instead back towards the feast tables where he grabbed a chair and said "Well, if you want you could sit yourself down, I'll grab some food, and then we can enjoy a nice meal." It seemed his ravenous consumption earlier hadn't provided the illusion of fullness to him yet!

Shirosu stopped eating mid bite when she saw a little but of whet looked like a love quarrel and Mack over reading the situation and interfering quite awkwardly. With a groan she muttered very quietly "Think Mack, think!" she watched as a slightly familiar red head walked over and steared the imposing man away and over to Piera and her boyfriend, who was actually wearing a suit she'd crafted. She snickered thinking about the confrontation, she knew Mack had something of a crush on Piera and was quite amused by it.  When a girl with brown hair ran over to look at the food she smiled pleasantly, silently hoping gin wouldn't move then she saw Vasth and sighed, he would recognize the little fox immediately. it took her a few moments to put two and two together before she realized that the brown haired girl must have be Vasth's girl friend. "Good evening Vasth!" she siad with a grin as he approached the table.

"Well, we can just wait until we are alone, then... You know, it is getting dark, and soon others're gonna take the dance floor... So maybe that might be our chance to slink away, huh?" Eulalia teased Kalesh back with her own sweet, popstar-esque wink.  She let herself fall into the gentleman's arms as he wrapped her in a hug. "Kalesh... I personally don't want to leave the game at any time soon... I want to treasure my time here, and make memories, especially with you~" She explained, closing her eyes as she nuzzled Kalesh's chest.

Lia let out a raspy sigh of pleasure into the suit as she felt the redhead's hand begin stroking her head as if she were a cat or similar.  She struggled to keep from moaning, and barely managed to succeed.  As her hands were working on Kalesh's hair, she felt the crimson strands move away for a moment, before falling back back over her digits, swishing along her fair skin.  He'd let his hair out just for her, Lia could tell that all too well.  Without a second thought, the female tenderly dug her fingers into the scarlet hair, brushing through it gently.  It felt so smooth, but at the same time soft... It felt pleasant to the touch to sum it up.

Lia felt the redhead clasp his hand around hers and guide her away from the conflict.  Her intense focus on Kalesh had finally been severed with the scissors at work nearby.  Gratuitously taking Kalesh's offer, Lia swept her dress forwards and sat upon the chair that was pulled out, crossing her left leg over her right oh so daintily.  The viridian frills on the dress managed to fold nicely around her legs, making the concealment that much easier.  Lia nodded her acknowledgement at Kalesh's suggestion of grabbing some food.  She couldn't empty her mind of the scene she had beheld... What was going on over there?

As Jomei led the crimson man in the opposite direction, he shot Lowe a quick look to make sure he was alright. From what he could tell, his little spectacle of charging over to Clarence had made quite the scene.. drawing the attention of many of the players around them. His eyebrows pinched into a saddened look, hoping that the tension would ease up. Jomei decided to strike up conversation with Mack, complimenting him on his suit. “Aye, it definitely does say Crimson” he laughed. “Maybe Lowenthal should have worn a purple and black suit in that case.” he mind went to thinking about how that would look with his guild leader. By now, the two were back at his table where Piera and Lee stood. Oh, Jomei remembered Lowenthal accidentally pushing X out of the way.. he wanted to apologize to him for his actions. Turning around, he noticed the man was gone. He rubbed the back of his neck, looking back and forth for him, but he must have ran off. With a shrug of his shoulders, he turned back to the group.

As if the tension between Lowenthal and Clarence was not enough, he felt a strange sense coming from this conversation here as well. The words back and forth seemed friendly enough.. but there was a slight feeling of ‘manly-competition’ going on. He ran his hand through his hair, wondering what the hell was going on between these two. He shot a look at Piera to see if she felt it too, or if she just saw her friend and boyfriend talking. Just then, as if cutting the slight tension between the two, was a very familiar voice. He looked over to see who it was coming from, and it was, of course, Opal with her date. She complimented the group on their looks and wish everyone well, singling out Jomei with a small wave and a ‘hi Jomei.’ Giving the girl a half smile, he replied, “Hey, Opal... Hows the training going? I honestly thought you weren’t going to be able to leave in that time..” He placed his hands in his pockets while speaking to her, and his eyes slowly moved to the blonde haired man next to her. “And I take it this is your date for the night?”

Lawfer’s eyes grew brighter after he felt, the soft lips of his date caress his cheek. Even though this was just a game, he enjoyed the feeling of Opal’s digital lips. With the attention turned to mixed group of company, Lawfer took a breath in then exhaled, prepping himself for his guild master who was always an abundance of energy to say the least. After listening to Opal concerns he was perplexed for a moment, but she had a request none the less. “Don’t worry about Mack. He may be my guild leader, but you my lovely Opal, are my date for the evening. Your authority supersedes his, I’m not one to casually hand over his date that easily.” He said with a laugh, “And besides, the only one to get touchy feely is going to be you after we dance.” He chuckled once more. “Well… and probably me, but I’ll be slick about it. Promise...” He concluded with his trademark wink that had become more of a reflex at this point in his life.

As the two closed distance on the group, Lawfer smirked at the woman’s usage of O.M.G. She definitely went to college in the US, he was certain of that. As she grew ever more brightly around the new company of people, he smiled. She was more beautiful than ever. Lawfer looked to the group, there was his guild master Mack, whom he knew fairly well at this point. Piera whom he had met once before, and two other men. His attention was drawn to his guild masters bright red suit. Lawfer had played with the idea of getting a red velvet tux for the event but decided against it because of him wearing red so often at this point. That was the reason for him getting his carefully designed blue tuxedo, well that and the blue would go much better with his eyes. “Hey boss man! Looking sharp.” He paused. “Looks like you decided to go all out, way to bring back the zoot. Not many can pull it off.” Turning his attention back to the crowd, he gestured a wave at Piera and her date, who seemed to be in a testosterone battle with his guild master. Turning his attention to the Irish gentleman, that had spoken directly to him. “How rude of me. I’m Lawfer, I work with this big guy in the Crimson Blades. Nice to meet you... You're Jomei I assume." he said, assuming that his response to Opal signified he was the man she greeted. He reached his free hand out in a friendly manner to shake. "It's good to meet you." he concluded as he smiled at the man.
