[PP-F9] An Unruly Plot (Ssendom + Teayre + Mack + Takao)

"On it," Mack growled, charging in behind Ssendom and Takao as their leader stunned all of the smaller Iron Knights that were protecting the Guardian boss just before Takao zipped around him and dispatched each of the four stunned knights with a single sword thrust. No wonder he had opted for the weapon he currently had instead of the one that he had requested as payment to pay off Mack's portion of the lost bet from the duel that they had previously engaged in seemingly so very long ago.

Sprinting across the room, and no longer needing to use an area of effect attack, Mack dropped to his knees and slid past Ssendom as the Iron Guardian extricated its blade from the party leader. With the Crescent Avalanche skill activated, the red-headed man launched his first strike at the Guardian's legs as he slid in, but the iron giant neatly hopped the attack. Popping back to his feet just past the boss, Mack launched a backwards swinging strike but the Guardian leaned back and the blow sailed wide. An overhanded tomahawk chop followed, but was repelled by the ring of metal on metal. Changing his grip, the enormous fighter swung laterally across his body, but the steel head of Invictus glanced off of the Guardian's chest plate. Reversing his grip, Mack lashed out with the steel butt cap of the axe, but that was batted aside by a gauntleted hand. Using the follow through momentum from the butt cap strike Mack swung an uppercut with the axe head, but the guardian merely stepped to one side. Finally, reversing his grip once more, the red-headed bear of a man tried a second tomahawk chop that was, again, riposted by the guardian.

Teayre watched with quiet poise as Ssendom aggroed everything and then Takao finished off the weaker mobs. “Good job.” She calls to him her eyes flicking to the broker seeing him beginning to draw a weapon, slowly walking up behind Ssendom “WATCH THE BROKER SSEN!” Teayre yells as she takes a firm grip of the Oikawa Kanashiki’s hilt.

Her eyes closing for a moment as she breaths before her foot hits the ground a red light emitting from her blade as the Sword Art: Zekkai takes please. Drawing the Oikawa Kanashiki Teayre dashes up to the Iron Guardian, as the weapon is removed from its scabbard it instantly cuts into the armour of the field boss. Looking over she nods at Mack, “Good Distraction there.”

The broker had bided his time until the Knights were dispatched, but broke his patience and charged forward pulling a dagger out of his cloak. His cursor changed to orange as he attempt to sink his blade into the back of Ssendom. The Broker quickened his pace when Teayre noticed him charging forth at Ssendom. But what the broker hadn't noticed, was that Ssendom had been keeping his attention on the man the whole time. Even though he couldn't see him, he let the Guardian lay a giant smash upon his shoulder just so he could give the man the impression that his attention was diverted.

"You three focus on the Guardian, I will absolve this man of his treachery." He calmed stated as he turned around to see the broker approaching him quickly, the man didn't have a choice at this moment. It was kill or be killed, and he was beginning to loathe the attitude that Ssendom had towards him. Screaming in an enraged tone he dropped his blade down upon Ssendom. But Ssendom merely caught the mans arm and threw him down into the dirt, then immediately his blade began to glow. He jammed the blade with bonesnapping force into the back around the gut of the man causing him to scream in agony as his sword art Back Rush triggered. Ssendom turned around and whispered into his ear, "We're going to have some fun."

The Iron Knight changed it's focus to Teayre who happened to land a brutally painful strike upon it's chest. It seeked revenge spun the blade a slight bit so the blade end faced Teayre, and it swung with devastating force. The blade connected and lifted her off the ground then launched her away with the sheer strength used to swing the mighty weapon of the Guardian.

Takao's legs began to move the second he felt control of his body return. Mack had a difficult time maneuvering around the monster's defenses, while Teayre managed to slip by and damage it at the cost of sustaining quite a bit of damage herself. He didn't want to take the chance of any of them taking another hit, so he slid to a stop in front of the monster and pulled his right arm back. He activated one of the sword arts on the higher end of the one handed straight sword spectrum, which resulted in the blade of his sword beginning to glow blue. The system took control and lead him through an elaborate pattern of slashes after he leapt forward. His sword quickly tore away at the monster's health gauge, and as the sword art concluded with a pair of concussive full circle spins, the monster was unable to move. Nine large wound marks decorated its iron-clad body, and from both Teayre and Takao's attacks, the monster was left with less than half of its health remaining.

"Dude's stunned now, so go nuts! I'll keep his attention just in case!" Takao shouted out to the others as he landed in front of the monster with the intention of keeping its aggression aimed toward himself.

Mack had barely had time to get out of the way when Teayre came flying past him to bury her katana in the Iron Guardian, a moment before the boss responded by sending the slight woman flying through the air. Before Mack had a chance to retaliate, though, Takao intervened and stunned the massive boss while dropping its health by a laughable amount. Glancing over at Ssendom, who had the fight with the treacherous broker well in hand from the looks of things, the Grandmaster of the Crimson Blades narrowed his storm grey eyes from behind the slits of his crimson battle helmet as he marched up to the computer generated boss.

"You like hittin' women," he growled, raising Invictus high above his head as the light caught the Celtic knotted blade head. The weapon glowed scarlet and the bear of a blacksmith exploded into motion, using the same sword art he had tried to use in the first attack. Crescent Avalanche. Bull rushing the boss, the crimson bearded axe-man paid no mind whatsoever to the sting of the Guardian's thorns enchantment. The force of the shoulder check that Mack delivered, combined with the steel butt cap of Invictus slamming into the hapless creature's iron shrouded face drove the boss to its knees. Quickly enough, a lateral chop slammed into the side of the monster's head as Mack whipped the axe around his body and drove the creature onto its back. Four more times, the savage axe blade rose and fell, each time driving deeper and deeper into the Guardian's head. Stepping back, at last, chest heaving slightly, Mack surveyed his handiwork and noted, with satisfaction, that the Guardian's head was now physically deformed.

"Teayre, if you'd care to do the honors," he said, stepping back from the nearly dead creature and gesturing towards it with an open hand and a slight bow in Teayre's direction.

Teayre chuckled as Mack dived in acting all macho trying to protect. “I can look after myself thank you very much Mack.” The broker started to step closer to the Iron Guardian almost as if he was going to take the kill from them. Her eyes narrowing Teayre stepped in between the pair of them. “I wouldn’t even think about that if I were you.”

Flicking the Oikawa Kanashiki to one side, it began to glow a deep red as the system took hold of her. The first spin was low dust began to circle slowly around Teayre as she followed with another spin this one at medium height the wind whipped around forming like a second blade behind the first one. Two more rotations Teayre came to a halt her blade pointing at the Brokers neck as the wind from Sword Art: Haku Senpu battered him to the ground. As he looked up along her blade meeting her eyes. Teayre’s coat stopping the flapping about in the wind. Behind her the Iron Guardian shook from her last attack before exploding into thousands of colourful fragments.

The powerful hit from Teayre and the killing blow on the Iron Guardian caused the broker to stagger backwards. His orange cursor shining bright above his head made him realize the terrible choice of action he made. He couldn't lift his arms, but even though he was stunned he managed to step backwards until he hit what he thought was a wall. As the man turned around his entire face became flush in horror to the sight of Ssendom towering over the broker. He looked up into the slits of Ssendom's helmet to see two deep angry looking red eyes glaring at him.

As the broker was about to try and run he felt his entire body lift off the ground with a hand that wrapped around the back of the neck of him. The man stared at the other three trembling in fear. Before the man could even say help, Ssendom's massive blade came through the center of him. He laid impaled on the blade unable to do anything. Red data particles trickled out of him, he opened his mouth and more red data particles spurted out. After a moment his health dropped to zero. The man exploded into thousands of data particles.

A message appeared infront of Ssendom stating 'Quest Complete' which he pressed the blue button to claim rewards. He looked up at them placing his weapon in it's sheath, "Good work everyone, I'm headed for the Butcher of the Sands. If you three want to be apart of the first group to ever defeat the new boss. Then meet me on the 5th floor, else wise until next time." He asks of them then bows in a polite manner before walking off into the distance toward town.
