Familiar Obtainment Thread: HERE Familiar Name: Malcanthet Familiar Description: An unassuming cute amber coloured slime hat accents ones excitement and turns it into strength. When it opens its eyes, they blaze a brilliant golden colour as though its insides are on fire. Obtained on the 29th floor this symbiote can attempt to meld with its user, wrapping itself around a body to strengthen an attack or blow. Unbothered by most anything, although it doesn't seem to like the cold. Can be used as a garbage disposal as it eats anything and everything. (Except Marshmallows) Familiar

Familiar Obtainment Thread: HERE Familiar Name: Badb Familiar Description: A small black crow with glowing yellow eyes, mostly unassuming but seems to carry with it the insanity of floor 29. The thing doesn't seem to adhere to the boundaries or logic that most would have to. It can go straight through solid objects, turn into smoke and seems unbothered by the elements. Other then the fact it seems to ignore the laws of space time, its just a bird that can bring ERROR a mallet. Familiar Image:

"...But I can't know that." Those words hit him like a blade driven straight into his chest. His heart ached, and for a brief moment, Jack couldn't even breathe. Everything he'd held onto, the hope that maybe, just maybe, he could make this right, felt as though it was crumbling beneath his feet. Then she stepped closer. Her forehead pressed gently against his chest, her warmth sinking through his armor, through the layers of doubt and silence that had built between them. His hands moved instinctively, wrapping around her trembling frame, holding her as though she might vanished

Post Action: Return food to Fortune Teller Mari watched as the player skittered off, and she almost followed - almost. She could have reached out and grasped hold of his cape, picking him up like a newborn kitten but she held back. Her heartbeat hard and fast against her chest - and she struggled to keep her composure. Her shoulders rose and fell with erratic breathing. Mari threw her head back and cried out, an inhuman roar that shook the crumbling buildings and docks around her as she tore into her chest, ripping the creature clean off of her. The woman fell to her hands and knees wi

Nearly shapeless and writhing, an amber pool of sputtering splattering fixed upon gags and strain against the coils and tendrils of the creature held fast against that frame. All the while the pair of figures stared on without care or adverting their eyes. They simply took the place of an audience, waiting for the display to come to a close. Which eventually against all demands or pleads, fight the act comes to a close. A lift of their finger sees the bird take flight, and it only travels a few feet before it travels straight up disappearing out of sight. For when it would be beckoned to again

Quest Objective | Successfully tame a Familiar. Post Action | Taming Roll, ID: 256866 LD: 12 + 15= 27 SUCCESS Tiny tendrils of amber, a contrast that did not match the dark floor began to peak their way through the boards. "What the fu-" Mari barely managed to dodge them as one shot out at her, trying to wrap itself around her ankle. That player had seen this? How? Another came up from under the boardwalk and attached itself to her ankle, throwing Mari off kilter - she fell to the floor with a thud. It continued, oozing up and out from under the planks as it bubbled. And Mari couldn't

It hurt. It hurt because this felt final. More final than the moments he had asked her to leave that small little room in the inn. More final than when she saw him be whisked away with another woman in his arms. She knew she should move, but Alinta couldn’t. She stood there, shaking in the snow. Nose red from the cold, from the tears that trickled down her face, silent salty trails of pain that couldn’t be kept within her trembling frame. Scar --> Alinta: Wait! There's no trap! Her vision blurred as more tears filled her eyes. Oh how she wanted to take those few steps,
