  1. "I was not sure if people can easily remember me, but your hair is very distinct. Not many players I know have white hair." Rebekah said. Rebekah had also asked around about this quest. It was the second quest that she was concerned with, the first quest was not too difficult per say. "You are correct, I did choose to join the assault team after listening to Freyd explain the different roles." She continued. "My plan is to eventually make my way back to the frontlines. However, I do plan on continuing to craft on the side. I would like to hit level 10 in my profession while cooking part-t
  2. Rebekah now had a perfect opportunity, which was to defeat three of the bears given they were just above half of their health. She knew that the this would make it more manageable to deal with the remaining bear. As she waited for the perfect timing to attack, she knew that there was a chance to tag all four bears with the same attack. For each bear that was killed, Rebekah chances of surviving this conflict would become a lot stronger. Rebekah knew she wanted to continue to search for materials, but stopping these bears was a necessity to protect the beach. As she activated her sword art
  3. "I do not see a problem with staying only on the first floor. Sometimes it is dangerous to wonder about on your own, and especially if the rumors are true about it being a death game, you do not want to take any risks." Rebekah said. "I also like to stay on the fourth floor, but I do take the occasional journey to visit another floor." As they kept walking, Rebekah kept her eyes peeled for any materials that may spawn within her vicinity. "I was a frontliner, a very long time ago, seven years ago." Rebekah continued. "I did leave the frontlines after floor 12. However, I have recently sta
  4. Cleo had tried collecting that fungus that she pointed out earlier, but she was unable to collect anything. "Perhaps, we got here a little too early?" She suggested. Rebekah had acknowledged that was a potential material that could be collected but it would not show up in her inventory. "You are right. I do not visit the first floor often. This morning, I was visiting the monument of life. One of my friends passed away several years ago on this day, so I thought I would go visit the monument to pay my respects." Rebekah added. She remembered the day when his name disappeared from her frie
  5. As Rebekah was the second player to arrive, she did not have to wait long for the next person to arrive. A dark haired girl by the name of Astreya. Rebekah had never met her before, but hoped to get to know her better. She had a bubbly personalty, and was very cheerful. "Hello Astreya, I am Rebekah." She introduced herself. Just when she had finished, the pink hair girl had greeted their party. She introduced her name, Zajcica, and then spoke a bit about being a tank. It was perfect, their party had a tank which would be very useful especially on more challenging boss fights. It was
  6. "I think the pet needs to be intelligent. I would like it if it could instinctively know what to do, if you understand what I mean." Rebekah said. She was planning on training her pet to be useful, but she has not decided what she wanted. "I have not decided how I want to train my pet." She had heard about the many skills that pets were able to assist in daily life, anywhere from hunting on its own or to assist in combat. Both of these options would be very helpful. As they continued to walk, they saw a pair of snowshoe hares hopping across the snow. "Normally, I may hunt them but today I
  7. Corvo easily finished off the last bat. He was right, it was time to leave before they attract anymore unwanted visitors to greet them. "Let's go Koko." Rebekah reached out to grab her hand so she would not get lost in the cave. As they continued to walk from where they came from, it did not take long for them to take the fork. Since they took the left path, the would take the right path leading out of the cave. Finally, they were out of the cave. Rebekah had forgotten how bright it was outside after being stuck in the cave. They waited at the entrance for their eyes to readjust to the br
  8. "I can skate quite well." Rebekah replied. She had taken a lot of skating lessons in real life. However, skating in Aincrad was different. There was a reason why she was skating, often used as a shortcut to cross the lake instead of going around. It was a necessity, as a good skater can easily save over 30 minutes by going through the middle of the frozen lake. Skating in real life was a lot about following the rules and skating in circles, it got boring after a while since you were trapped inside in the rink. As they kept hiking in the snow, Rebekah stopped and paused to look at some foo
  9. It was the exact moment that four giant bats had shown up at the exact same time. Rebekah wanted to curse but decided not to with the girl in her arms. The bats had immediately attacked him, and he took four direct attacks by the bats. Corvo had quickly retaliated and struck down one of the four bats that were ready to impede their progress. Rebekah told Koko, "Stay still. I will need to take out those bats. I will make sure they do not come to attack you." She knew that she needed to reassure her before she could leave her side. Koko was clinging onto her, but she reluctantly let go. Reb
  10. As Rebekah followed Cleo out of the city, they quickly made it to where she had collected materials for The First Lessons a while ago. However, Cleo's quest was missing. "I think this is one of the few quests where you cannot repeat it." Rebekah said. She knew that this was rare, most quests will allow repeats for partial rewards as some of the major rewards can only be claimed once. "Why don't you collect with me?" Rebekah suggested. It would not help speed up the quest, but Cleo would be able to keep whatever she has earned separate from her due to the parameters of the quest, or at lea
  11. It was at this time when a group of bears decided to walk onto the beach. It had stepped over another kid's sandcastle. The kid began to scream and run. Rebekah looked around, none of the other players decided to go to challenge these bears from taking over the beach. Rebekah decided it was up to her to stop the bears. She ran over towards the bears with her rapier out, ready to take them on. All she needed was an opening. She wanted to hit all the bears at once with her skill, so she would be fighting them inside the same group. As Rebekah activated her sword skill, she knew the bears wo
  12. As soon as they walked into the cave, they had been immediately attacked by a bat. Luckily, Corvo was able to kill it with his giant battle axe before Rebekah could even respond. Rebekah had been wrong but she did not want to admit that she was wrong. She was more worried about what was behind them than what could potentially be in front of them. She hated being called by the colour of her hair. "Do not call me Pinky!" Rebekah said as she pulled out her rapier. She was not going to attack him but she wanted him to remember this. As the bat had died, Corvo made a very good point. They
  13. It was at this moment when Kiluia had shown up with his distinctive white hair. He had looked the same after all these years. "Nice to see you again. I think, it was seven years ago, the last time I saw you?" Rebekah remembered meeting Kiluia but it must have been a Christmas party or a social event held by one of the other players. "Nowadays, you are now a provisional captain in the guild." Rebekah sent him a party invite request, and began to continue getting the necessary dialogue out of the injured information broker for the quest to move on. After a few more minutes of talking, they
  14. Rebekah had received a message when she woke up this morning. As she got the message, she quickly scrambled and started to pack all the necessary food she would like to bring to this quest. It was going to be a long day of fighting, so Rebekah figured that having some food would always be very useful, especially if anyone may want to eat. She never knew if any of the food she used will be used but it was always better to bring it just in case. She had heard about the quest on floor fourteen, but Rebekah have never thought she was strong enough to do it solo. Therefore it had not crossed h
  15. Cleo had asked her about how did she end up joining this game. The truth was very simple, "My brother and I each got the game and nevergear to play. However, he was busy studying on the release day, so I decided to log in first and wait for him to join. However, I never know if he ended up coming or not." Rebekah said. Rebekah continued, "I have searched everywhere for him but I have never been able to find him, so I assume nobody has ever seen him." They were finally over the alchemist's shop. They quickly listen through to the dialogue with Zackariah, until he asks whether or not t
  16. It had taken a bit of nudging, but she was finally able to ask him to introduce herself. Rebekah could have always assumed based on the name at the top left corner showing the health and status of party members, but you never know if a player had a different preferred name since they been stuck in the game for several years. She was a bit surprised to hear that he was not expecting it to be dark. It was a cave, but the two of them will have to make due without the aid of a light. As they had walked to the cave, Corvo was not the most talkative person. She had tried talking to him but gott
  17. Rebekah finally arrived on the 7th floor to pick up her new armour from The Winter Fox Smithery. It was the first time she had visited the place. As she walked in she waited for the pink hair shopkeeper to hand over her brand new item. It was perfect, a heavy armour that will allow her full movement while wearing different colours of pink. It was made to look like a dress, but it was far more durable. Rebekah told Nari, "Thank you very much. I will see you later." She tried it on and it fit perfectly onto her body. Rebekah picks up Frozen Dress.
  18. "Okay, let's go before she starts talking again." Rebekah said as she looked at her map as well. "The cave is not too far away from town, we should be able to get there quickly." As they quickly departed away from the frantic NPC, Rebekah asked him politely. "Excuse me, but I do not think you introduced yourself yet?". She thought he was likely too focus on getting away from the NPC to notice he did not tell introduce himself yet. After all, she had already introduced herself. As they quickly got out of the town and into the surrounding wilderness, they began trekking towards the nearby m
  19. Unbearably hot. That was the word that Rebekah had described the 9th floor to anyone who had asked her. And this was where she could be found this morning, walking through the streets of Yogan Village, the main settlement in an effort to find out more about the quest and the legendary beast Cerberus. Luckily, Rebekah had spent some time trekking in the desert many years ago, and earned the survival skill. This was making the floor slightly better as she would not have to worry about the heat burning her inside the Cave. The unfortunately thing was Rebekah learned she had went to the wrong
  20. As Rebekah walked around the second floor, she was looking to revisit the cave from several years ago. She had heard there was a bat, and she wanted to explore it. Rebekah made her way over to the lady, but not before a blond guy got there first. As she was already headed there, she decided to join in on their conversation. The lady, Choshi, was looking for her kid who was stuck in the caves. Rebekah saw the guy about the join the quest solo, and she called out to him. "Hello, Are you looking to take the quest?" Rebekah asked. "I am looking to take the quest as well, so would you wan
  21. Rebekah walked back out to the beach. She had a hunch that there may be a treasure chest located around here. Rebekah knew that she needed to be careful, there were a lot of players around. She decided to pretend to build a sand castle, but in reality she was going to dig in the sand for a treasure chest. She wondered if anyone else would notice, but nobody ever did. Of course, she could not fake a sand castle, so she decided to start building parts of it, such as a few walls. This took her back to her childhood sitting on the beach playing with her family. She wondered if she will ever b
  22. She was going to keep searching on the beach. Rebekah had been walking all day, and she was slowly starting to feel tired. Perhaps it was time to leave the beach and head back into the forest. At least there was some shade there, and it had made all the difference in the world. Rebekah was no longer in direct sunlight. She was still near the beach but not just far away enough that the trees were blocking all the sunlight. Rebekah continued to search for materials, but this time at the edge of the treeline overlooking the lake and the beach. She had turned to looking for flowers, herbs or
  23. As Rebekah continued to walk, she noticed that her health and energy had fully recovered. However, there were no monsters nearby for her to attack, so she continued to search on the beach. This was the best thing she could do at the moment, which was to see if she could collect all the materials before the crowd of people moved closer to her over here. This was prime real estate on the beach for sun tanning. As she continued to walk along the water's edge, she could feel the cool lake waves passing over her feet. It was such a nice feeling, especially since it was a departure from the san
  24. "Nice to meet you, Cleo. So his name is Dorian? I have never taken a quest from him before." Rebekah said. "Yes, I would like some help with that quest. Perhaps, you can give me some guidance on what to do." She never turn down anyone willing to accept her with a quest. No matter how simple the quest may be, it is always safer in a group. Rebekah pressed a few buttons on her display and had sent Cleo a friend and party invite. She waited for her response before walking back to Dorian. Dorian began to explain the details of the quest. After listening to Dorian ramble on for what felt like
  25. Rebekah had found some seashells. However, she was not stopping here. She was determined to find more as she knew the beach would be full of them. The difficult part would be trying to navigate around the crowds of players and NPCs having a relaxing time on the beach. They were sitting everywhere, building sand castles, or going swimming. She almost tripped over several players as she was not watching where she was going. Rebekah continued to look around, it was going to take some work to find more but she knew she could do it. She was a natural at searching and gathering materials since
