    Mari hadn't heard him approach, she only turned at the sound of a familiar voice, and it being familiar was the only reason she hadn't rolled onto her side or heaven forbid into the river with one of her many disarming tricks ready to strike.     Yet another wave of skeletons bore down on the woman, just as quickly as the first wave. "What the f-" Mari had to duck underneath a shambling strike. Things were being a little more...aggressive. Was it to do with the lake? Mari dragged her halberd across the ground and sparks shot up, springing into flames that engulfed her blade as she used it to tear through their bones.     With a quick glance over her shoulder Mari would take note of the swarm of mobs that were slowly dragging themselves out of the Stygian River. Mari opened up her notes; and wrote the time and date - a long time ago she lost track of the rivers purge cycle. It was pure luck she was able to witness the beginning of it again. That kind of information was useful. It could save lives, letting people know when the occurrences would happen so the few who dared tread on this floor wouldn't be caught unawares by a zombified version of a previous floor boss.     With a sweep of her hand, Mari would take his offering with a small shrug. She didn't care if he was put off by her offer, frankly Mari was just surprised to see anyone here.
