Freya

Hearing his last words she smiles. She then says to herself, "This world isn't fair, I can not let the small things bother me or the fake things distract me. It is not worth my time or effort." Walking through the sorrowed town with prying eyes now she glares slightly back, almost like giving them a warning. "Did you find her," she hears from behind her. Turning as her eyes meet the guys she talked to earlier. With no feeling attacked she says as she pulls out the ring from the remains of her corps "This was what was left of her when we found her. The things that destroyed the tower and everyone in it were long gone." Handing the ring to the husband she turns away. Behind her, she starts hearing people chatter, "Did you hear that the tower is gone...What really...they will pay..." Freya didn't mean to cause a commotion but her HUD chimes as the quest was completed. She heads to the warp gate ignoring all confrontation with the NPC's now. She had other matters that she had to deal with.  

Smiling a bit she thinks of the bitter potion she took just the other day. She wasn't paying much attention to it at first because she was in a rush but now that she thought about it, it tasted bittersweet. "I want to be a chef. Use to cook at home but I am not sure how much that would help me here." Picking up a herb without taking a second look at it, the fragile plant dusts itself in her hand. "Dam," she says clapping her hands together to clear them off. Getting to her feet she glances at Raidou, "I am going to turn this quest in. I might be taking another quest shortly if you would like to join me. Oh, and thanks for...Just thanks" she says as she starts to walk off to turn the mission in. With a slight second glance, she realized that there were more bodies lying dead beneath the rubble. She shakes her head, walking forward.

Freya glances at the young girl with a small smirk and with just a name spoken she says "Freya," she flips her large Scythe to her back putting it away. Doing what Raidou asked of them now she takes a look around the room for any movement. Seeing nothing she starts walking around, bones scatter the ground. Dark fluids stain the dirt they walk upon. The lighting was bearable for players who came without a form of light. Her hand moves across the walls that smelled like death had been laid upon it. For some people, this would scare them. This excites Freya for some ungodly reason. As she looks around for movement again, she stops walking and listens. Any feet patter besides their against the ground. Nothing... Freya became very curious. Raidou did say 4 others but only two were visible. Did he just die too fast so the others weren't able to spawn? Freya stands there with her back against the wall moving her eyes through the darkness.

"Dam Eruda," is all Freya manages to get out before Eruda walks away heading for the task at hand. Catching up to Eruda, Freya starts to focus herself. -Kill the Warg and keep calm- Freya thinks to herself on repeat while they walk into the clearing. Taking out her scythe now, placing the blade against her hip as she waits. In the corner of her eye, she sees a blue wolf walk to Eruda's side and rubs against her leg with a small coo. Raserei, Eruda's familiar, she thinks to herself as she glances outward. Eruda turns to her with sincere eyes before walking into the trees. Freya follows her into the tree line as she starts to hear howling from within the trees around then. A bush moves to her right and then to the left. Three wolfs jump out growling at them. Freya glances at each one, taking a deep breath as she keeps herself controlled even though they seem to be surrounded. The big guy has yet to show himself, as Freya waits for him to spawn with the others.

Eruda approaches her with all the demands. She spoke with something in her voice that Freya has never heard from her before. Freya comes to realize now that the time that Eruda has spent in this game, it has changed her. Eruda brought off a form of leadership, something that she had heard in Raidou's voice when she was questing with him. Walking with Eruda as she tells her what she had to do, she gets a bit confused saying "What if I don't meet what you ask of me, or I lose control in the middle of everything?" For Freya, this was a legit question. She had just started her meditation exercises and she was not sure she was ready for such a task yet. She talks to Gatsly as Eruda asked after excepting everything that was sent from her. Having a conversation with this almost scared fella, she glances at her map as the log updates her quest.

Lightly touching every leaf of these plants her eyes light up a bit when she finds a small glow within the patch. Scooping the dirt from the stem, she plucks it from its home and inspects it for a moment before placing it in her satchel. "You gave them a purpose. That is very interesting. It makes sense though..." Freya continues with this patch trying to give in more of an opportunity to spawn the ripe plants for her to gather. She began to realize the gravity of patience and what it would provide her with if she waited long enough. "If I may ask, what is your profession. From the looks of it, you seem to be enjoying picking these herbs." Glancing back at Raidou as his hands were moving so fast she could barely keep up with her eye. "It also appears that you have been doing this for a while." Eyes string back to her patch now, trying to figure out how he was so fast.

Raidou rushed in quickly, blade through and out, it was over before it began. Both Freya and Setsuna were told to keep a lookout for anything out of the ordinary. Glancing around quickly she sees that only two lonely skeletons remain not 4 as they start to scatter in what looked like fear. Freya darts in now, toward the first one slicing his boney arm clean off, grabs what would be his neck, and throws him at the other. Rushing herself to the second one now as they both fall to the ground from the impact, she cuts his leg clean off as it shatters beside the two of them. They both begin to scramble backwards from Freya trying to getaway. Freya wasn't going to let them do this, as she continues to walk slowly forward, dragging the tip of her scythe against the ground behind her. A large grin forms on her face, she was really enjoying herself even if it was just for a bit.

Listening to Raidou's words and looking at what he was doing, her eyes glance around for the sparkle in the dirt around them. "It is simple, if it attacks me, it will be dead. I will not make that mistake again." Thinking she sees something in a small distance away she walks to it. Kneeling down on one knee, Freya gently touches every leaf to make the differences between each plant. She made the conclusion that the more viable ones were soft as the others were rough to the touch. Noted..."Fine not guild leader, just a man who helped make the guild possible." Not finding anything at first glance she continues observing the patch until something comes into view. Freya takes a breath for a moment as she starts to now focus as she was not expecting an answer from Raidou on this topic, but she wouldn't take no for an answer if he did.

Given prior experience in more dangerous situations, Freya knew well not to stray from what he asked. With her at Raidou's toes, she kept pace. Another female who called him master...what was that about. She thought for a split second before focusing on her surrounding. Freya swears she sees something move in the distance but she wasn't for sure, another stubbled and clattered off around a corner. "Raidou, over there," she says in a small voice knowing that he could hear her. Freya takes a deep breath and she knew that with another guild member with them that she could definitely not lose control now. It would show weakness within her and she couldn't have any sort of judgment from her allies. Walking forward she keeps her breath steady, all those focus sessions were really paying off. She grins a bit as she watches more of the same creatures walk around and fumbling on objects around them. Freya glances back and gives the other girl a nod as she holds her scythe against her hip waiting.

Hearing Raidou's words she was well aware of the context of it. "It is purely for my own Raidou not for them. I am well aware of real vs fake..." she says this in a soft voice as her places the body in the hole provided and glances around quickly finding a torn blanket, setting it over the body. Getting to her feet, she sees that Raidou is gathering from what looks like a herb patch that he had found. Dusting off her knees now not that it mattered much she started exploring a bit. She didn't know Raidou but with him being as power housed as he was Freya asked: "Why did you become the guild leader?" Walking a few feet from him, she askes this without looking directly at him as she gets to her knees and starts swiping through a broken crate that looked like there could be something in it. While digging and finding nothing that mattered inside she moved to the next broken crate she saw.

Hearing Raidou's words she looks up and barely catches the ring that was thrown to her. Walking over to her body now, with a glance down. "Let you rest in peace, Fonsa..." she says as she closes her eyes and gives a small bow for respect. Gripping the ring in her hand tightly now she looks to Raidou now. "I know she was just an NPC but we can't leave her like this." Placing the ring in her pocket she gets on her knees and starts to clear the breathless body off. After a few minutes, she picks up the body and throws her over her shoulder. "I am going to give her a proper burial ground. I know you have other things that may need to be done, leave if you want but I am going to pay my respects." Freya starts to walk away, her voice very plain with a hint of empathy, this could have been her a few months back. Setting the body in a clearing she thought was well enough, she gets to her knees and starts digging a grave.

Freya takes the morning to do her meditation as she sees a message in guild chat. Still sitting she opens the message and it was from Raidou. It seemed like a rushed message which meant to her that it was urgent. She throws her thought away for now and rushes to the warp gate from floor 22. Arriving at the floor now she makes her way to the location that Raidou had mentioned in the message. She quickly gathers herself as she sees a light in the distance and with that a red robe... Raidou. Taking a breath as she quietly walks through the halls the echoed her footsteps. Walking behind Raidou now with the light he provided, she follows. "Anything I should know Raidou?" she says in almost a whisper not wanting to alert anything. This environment reminded her slightly of where she was found given how dark it was beyond his light. Freya kept close to him as she pulls her weapon out.

After just five minutes passes thinking that Raidou was already at the sight she heads that way herself. Arriving at nothing but a broken-down Tower now, she frowns a bit but continues. This was way different than what the NPC had told her it was. Seeing Raidou in the distance, he was digging through the wreckage now. Taking a small breath she starts to scavenge through the broken down pieces of the building now. Lifting with both hands a large piece of concrete, shoving it to the side. Freya gets down on one knee to feel the ground. It was wet and the air was very musky now that she thought about it. Getting back to her feet she looks around and notices that a small layer of fog had set in. It could still be seen through but none the less it was still there making this place seem a bit more dangerous in Freya's eyes. Walking within eyes sight of Raidou now for cation, she continues looking through the large piles of the broken down tower.

Her eyes fall upon one quest, Search and Rescue. She knew now that after the Rhino that Raidou was very strong. She knew right then that he would be able to handle whatever she had chosen. Taking the quest, her HUD chimes. At this time she shares the quest and sends a party invite as well. Sending a quick short message saying:

Taking a deep breath now as her HUD chimes with the message being sent, Freya starts to walk toward the objection on her map letting it lead the way. She eventually hits what an icon provides as the Underdark. As she slowly walks through, people, NPC's at every angle was giving her very dirty and unsure looks. Knowing that right now she was alone, she wasn't going to risk getting jumps by these mysterious people so she keeps her mouth shut as she continues to walk in silence. Unlike every else, Freya is approached by what looked like a very disturbed person. "Please help, my wife, she left for the war with the Forest Elves. It's been days and others have returned but she has yet to return. I am thinking the worst but I still have hope, will you please help put my mind to ease?" Freya looks to her map and this was what her quest asked of. "Of course I will, do you know the last location?" Answering her instantly he says "The Queen's tower, it's standing tall, it's hard to miss. Please let me know what you find out, good or bad." Freya gives him a small nod and waits for Raidou to show up before continuing. The guy walks off with a small sniffle as if he was crying now.

After a conversation with Eruda and her being tested by her own sister. Eruda obviously knows how important is to be ready for anything, explaining this to Freya with her sincere words given. This gave Freya the alertness that she needed to move forward. Eruda knew everything about what was going on with Freya now and advised her not to tell Raidou just because Eruda knew that she would be banned from doing anything with the team. Eruda agreed to help Freya and with that Freya would continue to grow and learn. She would do her best to show Raidou that she was okay, that she could be in battle without interruption and that she did have the focus required for things that needed her individual attention. Taking a deep breath after a morning of meditation, she sends a message to Raidou:

Before leaving floor 22 she heads to the guildhall and grabs a few things from the vault that might help keep her prepared for whatever she decides to take. Eating what would be her breakfast as the first meal of the day. After, Freya heads to the warp gate and heads to Floor 23. Eventually arriving there, she walks to the quest board and starts actually looking through each quest that was given on this floor instead of taking one at random. She stares at each quest with focused eyes while she waits for a response from Raidou. If he was busy then she would go to a lower floor but she was hoping that he would not be mad enough to deny her of this request.

Freya looks to Raidou just as the Rhino runs full force at him. A clash of something major accrued at this point as they both slam into each other with everything they had. Sand particles fly everywhere as she hears the Rhino cry out its pain further than what she had done toward it. The next thing she knows the Rhino is in the air and as the sand goes back to the ground she sees Raidou in a defensive stance. What the hell did he just do, she thinks looking up that the enemy's health pool now as it was dam near dead. Freya didn't want to be under this beast when it landed so she moves against the wall and watched as the Rhino was falling now. She glances at Gaius now with Raidou call out in mind as he was already gone and in the air with the beast. "Oh this is going to be good," Freya says with a smirk on her face watching everything unfold before he.

Freya was on floor 1 out in the fields, sitting under a tree with her eyes closed and legs crossed. After her steamed discussion with Gaius. After fighting and defeating something that they could not have possibly done without Raidou present there. Either one of them could have died that day. Freya was thinking back to the conversation that she and Gaius had. It was hard for her to come to terms with such things. The voice in her head, the visions or memories that she has been seeing and completely random intervals. Everything present was making it harder and harder for Freya to think straight. For her to concentrate, she remembers what Gaius had said about breathing, just stop and take a breath. She was seeing her father for the first time in a very long time through nothing but a memory. 

Her HUD chimes with all these mixed feelings, looking to see who it was, Eruda. Maybe she could help a bit...After the discussion of disappointment with Raidou, she didn't want to make anyone else mad. She does what Eruda says, getting to her feet with a sigh, she heads back to town and goes to the warp gate traveling to Floor 22 to gather a few items for prep for whatever Eruda was planning. Getting to the guildhall she gathers those items from the vault and heads back to the floor 22's town and gets to the warp gate. Traveling to floor two like Eruda had told her to go, she sees her sister standing by the quest board. She eats what she had gotten from the vault quickly before approaching Eruda.

Hearing the crowd cheer from Gaius and then rally louder with Raidou's extreme hit, Freya smiles. As it slams to the ground Freya decides to take advantage of his distracted state of mind. "No fear..." Freya whispers to herself as her weapon began to make a charge of its own. In the back of her mind, she hears "NOW" as she runs at the beast. The beast gets up as Freya is running toward it. The moment it is on its feet, Freya holds her Scythe in such a way that when she slides underneath the beast without a moment's warning, she carves the top half of her weapon against his belly. It rears up with a cry out but stays focused on Raidou. As Freya is slid to the other side of him now, from her back, she flings her feet upward and down landing on her feet, and quickly turns toward the beast. Freya positions her scythe blade on her right hip and jumps back for some distance between her and it.

Gaius's words hit her hard, that and the fact that Raidou appeared out of seeming nowhere. She suddenly started to feel her hands tremble as the fear kicked in but before she could escape the metal doors behind her slam shut. Her hands clench shut as Raidou speaks, -what the hell was I thinking...- Freya thinks to herself. She was fighting back tears now, it was too late to turn back. She takes her scythe out and takes an unstable breath now. Freya couldn't find words to speak so she looks to Gaius, then to Raidou with very apologetic eyes, trying to let him understand that she had not a clue and that she was sorry but glad he was here with them. She knew that she had some explaining to do because it was her that convinced Gaius to come with her. Glancing forward now, she sees something very large come out from the darkness in the distance. Trying to think quickly she says "Gaius help me distract it," as she runs toward the thing now knowing it's a very large Rhino. As she approaches it, his hoof bangs against the ground. He swings his horn toward her and Freya's instinctively pulls her scythe up as it clanks against it causing sparks. She removes her scythe from the horns clash and jumps off his forehead landing behind the large creature now causing him to turn away from the group.

Freya stops and turns toward Gaius a bit pissed off now that he said what he did. "I do not wish for pitty and I am more up than I have ever been you jerk. You say life ain't going to get better unless I make it, what the hell do you think I am doing now. I chose to walk this path that I am because you convinced me that it would be better. There will be no pity shown in my action. Just because I spoke what I did doesn't mean that I am thinking any less of myself..." She closed her eyes and took a slow deep breath as she could feel her eyes trying to shift. She stands there for a moment calming herself. "I am not scared by any means Gaius, I am not down or sad. At the very least, this is a test for me. To see what I can handle and prove that I can keep in control of whatever is going on with me when shit gets real." As the first words were yelling at Gaius, these last words were much calmer. Turning back to the path she starts walking a bit faster now. Island to island, with the paths, proved to get her to her destination.

Freya takes the time to look at the quest now. Pinging the location and sharing the quest and opening a party. "This does look a bit dangerous but I don't think I really care. At the very least, I get to know what this floor has to offer, and be more prepared if we fail," saying as she looks out past the town showing little paths connected to small islands. The bridge-like paths looked slim but she was not worried about that. She started walking the first bridge with nothing but determination in her motives. "I guess if it gets too dangerous then we can leave but I will not make an exit without a fight. Regardless are you with me or not, or are you too scared to approach this Rhino beast." Freya says these last words with almost a pleading notion to come along. She was not afraid to face whatever this was, and she would try her best either way. Looking to the water as she walks the path toward her destination she sees her reflection. "I need to get better, I have been gone too long and missed so much," Freya says now in a whisper. 

She looks over her shoulder with a grin toward Gaius. "To be more upfront with your comment earlier, yes I would like to give it everything I got. Show it pain even if my damage doesn't get through. I want to get reacquainted with my fighting on something that I can't just one shot. The higher the floor the better." After everything that Gaius has seen from her, she knew she was more than the talkative little girl. With this, she would prove that and in hopes, show that she wasn't the other sister of Eruda that needed to be protected all the time. She knew that Gaius was here just because of the promise he had made Eruda but she wanted to believe that he was there for more than just that. Getting to the warp gate now she steps on with a glance at Gaius saying "Meet you on the other side Typhoon, Floor 24" as her body is lifted and evaporated to the next floor.

After Freya lands, she walks to the quest board, and without a thought of what she was taking, she grabs a random quest from the board and waits.  

"Oh don't get your panties in a bunch, you'll get your real meal. Just wait, it will be the best thing your buds have ever tasted." At this point, she swallows the last of her delightful snack and hops up from her chair. With her hands behind her back now walking past Gaius, with her head up and a grin on her face, she says "Well then I guess you're stuck with me then Typhoon." She chuckles as she starts to walk toward the door. "My fate is in your hands, I wonder if you can handle me." She pushes the door open with her foot, slamming it against the wall outside. "HEY WATCH IT!" the barkeeper yells as she walks out the Bar with her hands still behind her back. "Oh chill grumpy pants. It would have respawned if it shattered," Freya called out behind her. Freya was smiling now knowing that she would get the day to spend with Gaius now. Under all the smirky comments, she was happy. She starts to head toward the warp gate.

Silence filled the room as Freya's thoughts continue on. She looks to the barkeeper as he talks to Gaius which had just sat down next to her. With a smile, she passes 2 of the large honey rolls to Gaius across the table. "Wasn't sure what you liked so I got simple. I loved these back home." Taring off a piece she turns slightly in her chair to face him now. She takes a few minutes in silence to eat her rolls. "Feel free to order something else." She twists her chair forward toward the door eating. "Hmm...It's just so good. God, I've missed this." She looks around as people were staring at her now. "Do you like what you see you creep," they quickly look away and Freya chuckles. Without looking at Gaius she says "I am going to floor 24 after I am done here. Not sure for what quest yet but there will be one if you would like to join me." 

After a bit of mind exhaustion courses through Freya's body, she offered Gaius food after getting sized up by Raidou again assuming now that the very first quest was also Raidou smacking it into oblivion. Seeing that look on Raidou made her ever so curious but she wasn't going to pry on things that may or may not concern her. As she walks into the walls of floor 7 she was eager now to prove not useless to him. Looking for the closest bar, she walks in not even knowing if Gaius had followed her into town. She couldn't think on an empty stomach so Freya quickly orders four large honey rolls, she thinks for a moment. What exactly did Raidou hear from there conversation if anything. The group that she named...Would that set him off. Freya receives and pays for her order and waits at the bar counter hoping that Gaius would show, also hoping that he would join her in this quest she was planning to take soon. She would eat then head to floor 24 to get a challenging quest, to test herself, with or without Gaius at her side.
