    This may or may not have already been answered but I was wondering, is there pain in SAO RPG? On the Sword Art Online canon wikia, it says that there is no pain in SAO, only tingling sensations. But I was wondering if that holds true for this SAO, as things don't follow all of the canons 100% of the time. Just something I'd like to know for RP purposes.

      The tingly feeling from what I remember is because there is a pain threshold built into the NervGear that is turned extremely low, hence the effect it has. In the ALO arc it is shown to be possible to bring that threshold back up to more realistic settings, which is what happened in its conclusion. I don't believe it was possible during SAO.

      You're missing the question guys ^^;
      I know that in the canon anime SAO that pain was not felt. I'm more wondering if this site (AU SAO) adheres to that canon or not since the mods/admins have strayed from the canon in a few instances before.
