  1. (got cha)

While Morgenstern is keeping the metal giant busy, Husky waited for his chance. One missed swing reveal a gap under its knee, and Husky took capitalized of the mistake. Dashed forward as fast as he could, the Silvery Warrior charged all his power into another punch. Once again, the gauntlet burst to a fiery red light, and this time, the attack won't be blocked by anything. The fist clashed against the metal giant's exposed knee, bringing the whole behemoth down to a thunderous crash. Husky leaped back, avoid getting caught amidst the dust cloud. "Good work!" He spoke aloud, raising a thumbs up to his partner.

Once the dust cloud has cleared, the Iron Guardian begun to get itself back to its feet. The health bar hovering under its name has already been drained to blinking red. It wouldn't take long to take the monster down completely. Now, all he need was for @Morgenstern to finish the battle.

  2. At the sight of the monster, Husky felt that this battle would be different from the previous one. Standing roughly twice his side, the metal clad being readied its blade. The menacing posture loomed over the two players. Husky readied himself, only waiting for Morgenstern to make his first move. However, when the paladin missed the attack, at the same time blocked and staggered the bestial figure, Husky saw his chance. Charging in for an attack, he swung his fist, the gauntlets bursting in a fiery red. All his power was concentrate to one single punch, as he threw it to the enemy. However, it didn't connect, as the Iron Knight caught his fist mid swing. The burning light radiating from his gauntlet immediately dispersed. Looking at the iron giant, the Silvery Warrior placed a foot onto the chest piece of the monster and pushed himself as hard as he could.

Landed back down onto the ground, Husky took a moment to think of a better plan of attack. The monster seemed unyielding, as none of the attack coming from either player has been very effective. Maybe a different tactic would suffice. "Jonathan! I'll attack him from behind. Just keep the boss attention to yourself!" Husky gave @Morgenstern his strategy, before sprang to action. Dashed toward the other end of the room, the warrior stood waited, readied to follow the Paladin once he advance.

  3. The Fifth Floor has never been Husky's favorite place to be. The scorching sun radiating heat down to the yellow sand was never a pleasant thing. Husky has to left Woofles behind, since a snow-wolf going to a place like this would be torturous. Husky could do without the extra accuracy little Woofles can provide him, but he'd never put his pet through things as such, even if it's only a virtual game. It's still early in the day, so he have some time to spend before he started his quest again. Maybe a drink in the tavern would cool him off from the heat. Armadillo wasn't well known for the delicacy that they have to offer, however, they do offer some unique meals that Husky could learn from. The tavern does provide a rather authentic atmosphere. The wall made of sandstone fits well with the desert theme. Entering the place brings back some memories. Husky was astonished with the interior design as well. The polished dark oak fits well with the ambient lighting of the place, providing a soothing and calm feeling.

What lacks in comfortable weather, it pays off for its atmosphere. Settling down in a table, Husky leaned his body back to the chair, enjoying the music. He had ordered himself some shimmered fruits, and while waiting for his order, Husky noticed a familiar figure outside the tavern.

  4. With the lack of details and information in your reply, I can't really tell what you're looking for. I'll only assumed that you mean 1-2 paragraph length standards that the Rules and Guides has set.

It's pretty much what they meant. You need at least 1-2 paragraph about your character's background information. All character need to start at somewhere. Also, the rules hasn't clearly mention it, but you couldn't start your character off on the top. Everyone must start at the bottom floor (in this case, level 1) and you must work your way up to the top through hard works and persistence.

  5. Ah, sorry. I'm still learning English. It's not my primary language, and I've only started a few years ago, I believe... Either way, if it bothers you that much, I apologized for the mistakes along the way.

Also, which part of the forum don't you seemed to understand? I might be able to enlightened you with what I could provide.

  6. Hello.

I can see that you've made this thread in order to sort out your journal problem. And by the look of your journals, I can tell that you have some problems. I'll be as useful as I can to help you sort out the situation.

But first, you must refer to the Rules for Journal creation found here

  7. Without a second word, Aereth rushed back in to finish up the rest of the Skeletons. Each strike he landed drain the last bit of their health bar away. All four crumbled to the ground, this time, they burst to millions of pixel fragments.

Once the battle has ended, Husky let out a relieving sigh, relaxed his stance and dropped his fighting composure. "Yeah. I'll keep watch to see if there's any other coming." The brunette nodded, as the two moved off the walkway and settled near a small boulder nearby. Husky had thought about Aereth's complement. Would he really going to become stronger than he is. He doubt it would ever really happen anytime soon. He still have a long way to go. For the moment, he'll still need to work really hard to get to where he wanted.

"I was wondering. If you don't mind me asking, what are you planning on next after this expedition?" Husky asked, his back leaned against the rock surface, looking out to the field for any other monsters coming toward them. "I'll probably get some rest after this journey end. After so many days working, I think some good food and a warm bed would do the job." The warrior continued. It's been a long while since he has gone back home, and at the moment, home would be the only destination he could think off.

  8. The four monsters take swing at Aereth again. The warrior seemingly dodge with no effort This time, Husky saw his chance joining in the fight, and he was able to capture that moment. As the monsters continued to miss after Aereth had unleashed his barraged of strikes at them, Husky found the perfect chance to get in the middle. Leaping in the middle of the four monsters, Husky activated his sword art. His fist glowed in fiery red as he spun and swept his leg against all the monsters. All four fallen, crumbled to pieces on the ground.Their bones drawn away from the two warriors, giving them some spaces as they reassembled to their former selves. Taking stance beside Aereth, Husky readied for the next wave of attack coming.

"You're holding up all four of them very well on your own." Husky gave his companion a complement. Aereth has really done an outstanding job fending himself off from all four monsters. Husky would've never made it on his own.

  9. Husky stood behind Shield, watching as the spell began completely tainted the Fallen Angel. His body emitted a strong dark-purple aura. Under the helmet, its eyes glowed red. The Angel brandished its sword, its look gleamed with murderous intent. Husky felt a shudder down his body, as the health bar of the boss suddenly refilled to full. A new boss fight emerge, and this time, the boss would be much more challenging than the previous. Husky take a damage crystal from his inventory, before shattering the crystal block on his hand, buffing himself with extra damage.

Trusting Shield in keeping the boss attention, Husky readied his stance, getting readied to strike at the perfect moment. However, when Teion stepped forward, and her attack was stopped by Tagas, Husky saw his chance. Capitalizing on the opened window the monster created when it catch the scythe coming toward it way. Husky's gauntlet busted in a bright fiery red light. His attack struck with all force. The blast was strong enough to blew the Targas back, forcing it to let go of Teion's scythe.

  10. The four monsters all took a massive hit from Aereth. Their health bars dropped a good portion. His blade clashed against the withered armor plates of the skeletons. The monsters let out loud hisses, their weapons brandished. All four took a swing at the rogue-like warrior; however, Aereth was too close in the middle, and he was able to dodge them with ease. all four missed, as they continued to circle around him.

Husky had readied himself, and now that Aereth is in the middle of the fray and got their attention, now he only need to attack. However, while charging toward the monsters from behind, Husky couldn't land an attack. One of the skeleton had its spear raised backward when it get into position for another wave of incoming attack toward Aereth, and because of that, Husky was forced to stop, before he rammed himself into the spear. "Crap... cant attack now or else I'll get caught mid swing." Husky cursed under his tongue. He stood still and waited for another opening, only hoped that Aereth wouldn't be in too much troubles if he get caught.

  11. At Aereth's question, Husky only shook his head. "Not quite. I have a shop back at the third floor, but you could hardly call it one. It's more of an excuse for me to get a roof over my head when i'm not travelling around. For guilds, not so much. Working with others is fun, but I don't think I'm ready to join a guild just yet." The brunette gave his partner his reasons. Part of it was true, while his reason for not joining a guild was rather vague. The truth is, Husky was rather scared that creating friendships and bonds with others surround him would only make their inevitable demise harder to take in.

At the distance, the Silver Warrior could see what seemed like a group of skeletons, similar to those he had fought with earlier. These ones however, seemed much more dangerous. All four wore an old set of Samurai's armor, the plate were worn out, and withered. The skeletons, each carried with them a menacing spears. "Hostiles incoming." Husky spoke out, pointing toward the group of skeletons from a distance, which have not found them yet. Maybe the two could launch a surprise attack toward the monsters.

  12. Husky was somewhat glad that the subject of his safety was glossed over once the two had entered the chasm under the volcano. Seeing Morgenstern as he is, the Paladin would've never let Husky stay. The man seemed insisted on the idea that he would sent Husky back to the safe zone when he saw the red player, even when he protested otherwise. However, for now, he should focused on the main objective to finish up the boss battle.

The entrance was guarded by two Iron Knights. Each seemed rather well equipped with their spiked armor, and a shining steel longsword. However, even with both of them, standing a menacing stance was all they could do. Like Husky had guess, the Paladin of the Celestial Ascended was as strong as he would've imagined. One swing from his blade and the two Knights had already been defeated. Husky let out a signed, quietly followed along behind Morgenstern. He wanted to be strong through leveling, but when someone much higher level than him joined the fray, and take care of most things for him before he gets to do anything, the warrior felt like he's taking advantaged of others.

  13. Husky was rather annoyed that Morgenstern strongly opposed Husky's idea of taking the Red player down. "I appreciate your concern for me. The fact is, the bastard roaming around this floor would caused a big problem, if not to us, then to everyone else." Husky spoke out, following Jonathan close behind. "The faster the problem is gotten rid of, the sooner everyone is safe from that lunatic. I could care less if I die. Getting rid of that monster is worth the effort." His stance was tall, and unyielding. He know that even a member of the Celestial Ascendants struggles with fighting this red player, so Husky would have less than any chance to stand up against this one. However, if he run away now, who would replace him and become prey to the predator.

The two reached the chasm under the mountain base, where the boss reside. "Closely behind you." Husky nodded, agreed with what the Paladin had in mind. Through the little encounter with Shield, he knew what to do working with other tanks. All he have to do is to let Jonathan soak up the attention from the monsters, then Husky could come in to deal some extra damage.

  14. Hearing Shield warning after Tagas was set free, Husky took a moment of hesitation. In that moment, Beatbox has leaped forward before him and attack. The blond haired swordsman slashed at the corrupted angel with his weapon, as the blade glowed bright with an illuminating aura. Husky could see the health of the boss dropped more than half, switching to yellow in a single strike. It's indeed no doubt that Beatbox is a frontliner. He seemed way above Husky's league. If he's partaking this quest, is it such a good idea for him to take this quest on alone as he intended to?

Before throwing himself into the fray, Husky could hear a sound of something shattered behind him. Fearing that something might had happened to his comrade who was caught up in a snare trap behind him, Husky took a glance back. He was relieved that Teion was still in one piece, and even managed to break the trap that binds her in place. Returned his attention to the boss at hand, Husky lunged forward.

He only got a split moment to decided which sword art to use. He would have use the strongest newest sword art he had; however, since he had just learned the skill, the brunette hasn't had any time to measure how much damage it would deal. Since a better reward would be yielded if the boss reached it second state, Husky couldn't be so reckless, especially when the others also want the better reward. The pair of gauntlets glowed with a fiery red light. Husky threw himself at, his hand extended forward. His punches connected at many crucial weak points. The Tagas dropped its blade to the floor beneath. Pulling his hand back, Husky only walked backward slowly. The boss should be stunned, so he shouldn't have any worries about it harming anyone. He could only hope that the time he bought would contribute to the whole team.

  15. Husky had not been fond with the idea of an effortless battle. All he ever did was following instruction given by the more experienced players, staying behind Shield and let him tank. The fight had barely even started between them and the two hooded figures; Beatbox only needed a single attack to bring all of them down. For him, taking these tough quests trained his patients, skills and persistence by pushing himself to the limit. But, letting someone else doing all the work while you sat back and watch, that's never his real goal. Letting out a brief sigh, Husky scuttled along with the team. It's too late to back off now, and if anything, at least he know the odds of him losing his life today would be very slim.

Following the group to the main chamber where the boss reside, it was not what the brunette had expected. Instead of getting greeted by a dastardly monster, before him was an angel, chained to its throne while two dark mages casting their corruption spell upon him. A tainted purple shroud surrounded Targas, as it corrupted gleaming eyes laid upon the players walking into the room. Suddenly, Husky had an urge to charge into the battle immediately to do something about the situation. His instinct is roaring for him to dash in and help the angel, despite it being only an AI with no actual feeling. No, that must not be it! Time after time, Husky was proven how wrong of him to think that.

However, just before the party get to do anything, Teion had triggered a snare trap. The trap deal no damage, but it got her bound to one place. Husky was just far enough to avoid getting caught. Standing in between his team and the boss, his eyes narrowed. He got into a fighting stance, his leg jerked a little back. Taking in a slow deep breath, Husky was just about to charge in

  16. "A high leveled red player, roaming around the area... that problematic." Husky thought to himself. If a Paladin of the Celestial Ascended have some troubles with him, then Husky might not be able to stand a chance. However, when Jonathan suggested that he would tagged along with Husky on his quest, He was rather surprised to hear such. A high level  paladin player just willingly asked him to tag along with him for his quest, how great was that. "I don't mind you joining me actually. It could be nice, consider what you said about the red players. With luck, we might be able to take him down too..." Husky claimed in excitement, a little bit too excited. He might have gone overboard with what he said.

Once the fire has died, Husky and Morgenstern set back out to their journey. If what he remembered is true, the quest monster resided in a cavern dungeon not far from where he rested. The cave was at the base of one of the endless volcanoes on this floor, but it should be the nearest one he's heading toward, so it should be straight forward.

  17. Husky nodded. Talking too much about this grim subject could risk getting it to your head. It's best to focus on the main task for now. Once everyone is out of this game, then Husky could worry about the players killing others. For the time being, they should put their concern on actually getting out alive, more than anything. "Yeah... it's probably for the best." The brunette nodded at his partner's suggestion. Maybe hunting for some extra materials could get their minds off the talk.

"Not to be sound like a coward, but monsters usually scale based on the highest leveled player. Maybe you should take the lead, and I'll stay close behind for support." Husky spoke, strategized a small plan. He didn't want to rely on others much, but as long as Aereth is still in his party, Husky will have some difficulty fighting these monsters.

  18. Sipping on his Tea, Richard didn't put too much thought in anything beside relax. He's on his off day, the time when he was supposed to take his mind off the arduous grinding task, or taking on difficult quests to gain extra experience. This is the time where the man could sit back, drink his tea and relax, without a worry in the world. At least that was what he had thought.

While resting at the base of the tree, Husky was greeted by a strange figure. The person was wearing a cloak, covering their entire body, including their face. Only their mouth was revealed. Richard had had skeptics with this stranger, and he was readied for any action. "Hello. If you don't mind, would you like to help me with something?" The stranger spoke.

  19. Image result for jungle waterfall drawing

"Finally, a good place to take a rest." Richard told himself, sat back to under a tree. His armor leaned back against the rough bark of the tree's body. Woofles curved up to a ball just on his lap. His hand brushed against the soft fur of the little wolf-cub. It's been a long time since he have had time to take a rest, and now, sitting before such a magnificent view. What more not to love. Closing his eyes, the man drew a deep breath, relaxed his body, letting gravity pulled himself back to his little seat. Beside him was a tea set he had crafted every morning. The herbal tea didn't have the same effects as it would in real life to your body, but the taste was rather close to what it was back in the real world. The cup was half filled, steam still waver over the cup, and the tea pot.

  20. "Morgenstern..." Husky let the name rolled under his tongue, not loud enough for anyone else to heard it. "It's an honor to meet you." The brunette nodded, returning the gentle smile he always have to Morgenstern. Husky waited for the Paladin to settle down, before answering his question. "Heh... Only a nutter would think this place is a good location for outdoor camping. No, I'm actually going on a mission. However, I'm quite uncertain of how much further it'd take to get to where the destination, so I sat down here and take a brief rest." He explained his circumstances to the Paladin. Taking a short moment to observe, Husky could tell Morgenstern (or Jonathan) is in a rather tiring state. His eyes glazed over, his shoulders droops. He must have gone through a rather intense battle, but with whom, or what? He seemed well decked out, and a Paladin of the Celestial Ascendants no less. He couldn't get a glimpse of what a paladin actually means, but seeing the circumstances, it must have meant to be someone of high ranking officials. "You seemed out of breath yourself. Maybe you could share what have gotten to you? Just a tip, so I could try and avoid it whenever I could." Husky returend with another question. His curiosity got the better of him, as he was dying to know what happened.

  21. Now, with the objective given by Beatbox in mind, Husky began scanning the place. For a while, the place looked desolated and empty, as if it's nothing more than a structure used to decorated the floor, adding ascetic to the theme. However, when standing before of the podium, with his view cascaded to the center of the room, the brunette could see a glimpse of light shone from under the stone table.

"Could it be..." Husky thought for a moment. Reaching his hand out to inspect, he was surprised that the stone table moved, revealing a stairwell down to the lower level. Taking a step back, as the way down to the next area was discovered accidentally. "Guys! Look over here!" Husky called out for his team to come. The stairwell lead down to what seemed like a passage, big enough for all four. Maybe this is the way down to the boss room.

    @Shield

  22. The inside of the chapel was massive. An old red carpet stretch from the entrance of the place all the way to the podium under a giant cross. Wooden benches all scattered; the wood had been eroded, adding to the dying, abandoned theme of the entire place. Letting out a light whistle, Husky could hear his voice echoing back. "I'll be damn." The brunette was amazed. Something like this would take an abundance amount of time to even code.

When Shield finally come around to ask Husky of his reason to partake this quest, the Warrior have nothing to say. "I... actually don't have much of a reason why." He explained his reasons. "I saw the quest while checking some information from the broker, and it have my interest. I never really thought of it much when I take on the quest.

"Supposedly, there's a hidden room that the boss reside within the place. I guess we could start from there." The brunette replied to his partner's question. The place is massive, so finding this hidden room is certainly not an easy task. However, most pathway that ascend to the higher floors had crumbed away, so at least they only have the ground floor to work with.

    @Shield

  23. Resting under the small overhang of a cliff side, Husky saw a player approached his way. The player seemed to bear some resemblance to another player from his previous party from afar. But upon closer inspection, the player bear even more likeness to Beatbox. The same blond hair, blue eyes, even the same guild as one, as he could see the sigil of Celestial Ascendants. When the player offer his company for a while, how could Husky refuse.

"Help yourself out. The fire could last for another hour, so just enjoy it while it last." Husky nodded, invite the strange player to accompanied him. He seemed like he had gone through some rough time, so the most Husky could do, is to provide some help with whatever he could. " Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Husky. Pleasure of your acquaintance." The brunette smiled, extended his hand forward.

  24. OOC: just quick reminder that the floor required 20+ LD to find a mat, but yields 2 for every successful attempt

Following closely behind the party, Husky stayed rather quiet. He hadn't spend much of his time around people all a lot. When the time come, he's more than uncertain of what to do. The group didn't take too much time to find the chapel where the boss resided, or at least what seemed to be. Such a large structure out in the middle of nowhere, no way could it be an empty building for decoration. There's more to it, he was assured.

As the group approached the large chapel, Husky could see on each side of the large doors stood two rows of statues, representing the fallen angels of the place. They have tainted white wings; a hood covered their face, revealing only their mouth. All wield longswords, the blade tainted with darkness, much like their wings. "Well, here we are. I believe the quest continued inside the place. Just watch out for any gatekeepers." Husky suggested. He remembered what Beatbox said, refrained himself from charging forward and wait for @Shield to lead the way.

  25. No doubt about it now, both are from the Celestial Ascendant, and at the very least, the blond haired player is indeed a front-liner, which raised a question why would someone like him wandering around here. They mentioned of a quest, the <<Falling of Tagas>>. Maybe that's the quest that he's after. If anything, if a frontliner is after the quest himself, that could only means it's far from a simple quest. "Maybe it's best to tag along with them."

"Greetings. My name is Husky. Pleasure to have your acquaintance. It's an honor to finally meet with a Frontliner in flesh and bone." Husky bowed, greeted Beatbox. "I do believe you two are trying to take on the <<Falling of Tagas>>. Maybe I could tag along, since I'm partaking it myself." The brunette asked in a more friendlier manner. Just as he finished, another player approached the two. It seemed to be the girl Beatbox has mentioned while talking with Shield. He would never expected to be Teion.
