    2. 1 Skill Point

"So... All I have to do is to got fetch the item for you, and that's it?" Husky asked the hooded figure standing before the gate of Yogan Village. The place is located by the base of the volcano. The whole place is surrounded by a wall of dark crystalline obsidian, and a magma river running streaming around the town, creating a barrier that marked where the safe zone would end. Husky had never really enjoy the ninth floor, as the place was rather too hot for his liking. However, on his way back from the higher floor he received an unknown message that tells him some info about a boss reside to the west of the main settlement. The info broker talks about seeing a giant knight spotted at The Profaned Peak, and if the boss is killed, It would yield a great reward. If Husky gets the item dropped from the boss, he could return it for a piece of equipment.

It has been god knows how long since he set out to find the beast. Heading west alone was rather vague information for a quest. Taking a rest along the way, Husky set down a small campfire from his inventory and take a rest. He seemed to be close to the destination, but it did take him a rather long time just to get here. However, Husky was determined to see this boss, and he's not going to give up just yet, not until he return with the special item dropped from it.

  2. Standing in the square of Angel's Point, Husky jumped a little when someone called out for him. On this place, Husky had not expect to encounter anyone, far from it, he hadn't expect anyone to even traverse around this part of the game. Turning to see the player that called out for him, the brunette had had skeptic about the stranger greeted him in an almost too friendly manner.. The player before him didn't have anything special equipped on him, except for the mask skewed upon his head. "This might be a trap..." Husky thought to himself. Even when the player introduced themselves as a member of a renown guild, Husky could only nodded. He can't put his complete trust in the stranger just yet, considering anyone could say the same thing. He decided to play along for now. If anything went wrong, he have two teleport crystals, and he can get out of there in a heartbeat.

However, another player approached him. Their difference was much more apparent. The newly approached stranger is kitted to the teeth. He seemed more of a frontliner than anything. Both seemed to know each other well, and on closer inspection, Husky could see both bearing the same guild sigil, only one more apparent than the other. His composure relaxed, seeing someone of higher level in the same guild. Maybe he isn't lying about the guild.

Floor Thirteenth was by far the moodiest place that Husky has ever been to. Compare to the Forest of Wavering Mist back at his home town, the place was far worse. The sky was perpetually covered under a thick cloud of dark husk. The floor was of a brown color of barren dirt, with a few trails of cobblestone roads stretches from one settlement to another. Beside the main settlement  Angel's Point, the land was void of any greenery. Carcasses of the dead trees and skeletal remains of animals, and humans littered the wilderness of the floor. The whole floor itself was covered with a thick blanket of fog, clouded the ground, making navigation all the more difficult. This place is nothing but a desolated wasteland.

However, Husky had found some information of a a secret hidden chapel within this floor's wilderness. It provide a great challenge for whoever could find it, but also yield great rewards for whoever managed to overcome the challenge. For the Silver Warrior, this is a perfect place to test his push himself to his very limit. However, he must planned out his plan of action first. Especially on a floor like this, charging blindly into the wild would means certain death.

    ( @Teion @Shield @Beatbox First come, first serve.)

  4. Wandering around his home floor, Husky stumbled upon a small hut on top of a hills of the dandelion field. Husky was excited. He had saw the establishment a few time in the past, but never had he really spend some time to investigate. But since this is his home town, He might as well stop over for a quick look. "Piera's Potent Potions..." Husky read out the sign swinging outside the shop. Turns out, there was an alchemist shop on his home floor all along, and he was oblivious to it simply because he never bothered to check. Scolded himself, Husky opened the door and entered the shop.

The place is so much more magnificent than he had expected. A wide array of potions and crystals were placed on display, some he had never seen before. Zandra might be the best Alchemist, but her shop was never as good as this one. Taking his time browsing through the wares of the store, Husky grabbed a few crystals and and brought it to the shop counter. "Good day to you, Miss." He greeted, his mouth curved a gentle smile, contrast with the scar over his eye. "I would like to buy these items." The brunette spoke, as he opened the trading menu and sent the shopkeeper the appropriate amount of money for the four crystals he bought.

  5. Husky couldn't say anything either. In the beginning, he was so focus on his task and mission, the brunette barely even paid any attention to the life surround him. It wasn't until well over a few months did he really stop and see the world in a different view. However, he found himself lucky once he did. Simply to accept the fact that you're stuck in this place, and work your way to freedom at your own pace would always be better than rushing things through, especially when one mistake could cost a very expensive price.

However, while talking, Husky had a weird sense that the girl striking a conversation with him was having her eyes fixated upon his features. He was unsure what was she looking for, but one thing he was certain, is that the girl was eyeing upon him. Maybe he's just paranoid, or maybe the girl was fixated to the scar over his eye. Either way, Husky didn't mind such petty detail. Just as the girl finished, the next performance started, stealing her attention away from the brief talks. Husky could only chuckle, stayed behind and join her for the last song. Leaving abruptly in the middle of the conversation would be very rude of him.

This time, Husky recognize the name of the singer on the stage. The women was no doubt the mentor NPC for a profession, as he had read in the guide book. Seeing how the strange girl paid so much attention to the lead singer, the brunette could only assume that she was interested in the profession. Only when the melody came to its conclusion, did the girl returned to the conversation. "My name is Husky. It's a pleasure to meet you." Husky introduced himself after the girl, @Airi.

At the moment she mentioned of seeing him somewhere, Husky couldn't help but feel the same where. There's something with her amber hair, something familiar about it. "Maybe you've seen my face around town some other day? The scar make it rather easy to distinct myself from the rest." Husky smiled, jokingly referenced to the scar on his eye.

  6. Hearing Aereth's comment about easy questing, Husky couldn't help but agree. There're many quests he had wanted to partake, but the brunette hadn't able to, simply because he's not strong enough to take them on. If it were a normal game, he would have, just to test how far he could push himself. But now, with his life on the line, Husky hesitated to take big risk just to wield a bigger reward. "You're probably right. Now that dying is a factor, I doubt everyone would take much risk." Husky shrugged.

Now, with nothing else to do, the only thing left is to head back home, and ended the day. The two backtracked their footsteps inside the dark labyrinth under the prison Tartarus. On the way, Husky solemnly listened to Aereth's troubles. It's true that being a Red player means troubles. He's restricted to what area he could go, and god knows how the red players even cross from one floor to another without using the Teleportation Plaza inside the main settlements. Furthermore, players are more prone to avoid red players whenever possible, considering the risk of getting themselves killed. That makes Aereth's job all the more difficult to accomplish, given all the factors that inhibited him from doing his task.

Husky did recoiled slightly at Aereth's short outburst, but in that moment, he fixed his composure, and continued the conversation. "It's indeed rather sad to see so many players turn their cold shoulders away from others just because they don't want to get themselves intertwine with the problems. The fact that everyone now live in the same world, and username could be track down with a click of a button, there're even less motivation for people to openly helps one another." Husky gave a long sigh, remembered back to the times in his childhood. Many time he has saw kids walk away while their friends being beaten down by bullies. In the end, it's always him, fighting alone for people that he barely even known. But that was his nature, and it's hard to go against it.

"If we ever live through this...." There was a short paused. Husky stood still, his empty eyes gazed toward the dark abyssal space of the cavern floor. His mind raced to many path, each ended with a a different thoughts; a mixture of chaos added. Then, he spoke again, "Then you can have my world that I will work until the very limit of my ability, that I will bring these people to justice. They has taken lives of others, and those who die will see retribution." his words filled of determination, and courage.

  7. It's been a long time since Richard had had time to relax. The past week, he has gone in a non-stop expedition of boss crusading. From one after another, he seek them out and eliminate them. Can't say it's the most efficient week he had been through. Over the length of seven days, the brunette has grown a lot stronger than he had ever been before within the same time span. However, as much as he was driven by progress, Husky hadn't take a break for a long time now. He has been completely exhausted from all his expeditions, one after another. He had thought about the ludicrous working ethic of his, but time after time again, he always says to himself sacrifices must be make for progress.

However, just for today, maybe he'll have some time to himself. He visited one of his most favorite floor. The sixth floor provide an ideal place to take a rest. The warm air with cool breeze of the jungle was a perfect place for someone to take some time off. Not to mention the absolutely stunning scenery. Husky had heard of a waterfall somewhere in the wilderness, and that would be the place he'd stay rest.

  8. "A first step to a new frontier." Husky take a deep breath, stepping out of the teleportation plaza of the twelfth floor. This was the first time Husky had ever step foot on an intermediate floor. For the past years, he has stayed behind in the lower floor, sitting back in his tavern, and live his life easily. It provided everything he needed to live comfortably. He have good food, some entertainment, a lot of people to interact with,...  However, as for a comfortable life, Husky also wanted to return to his other world. Living in this place, he felt trapped. The only mean for escape is progress. To achieve progress, comes sacrifice; to give up living comfortably, pushing himself to reach a higher goal. This shall be the first step.

But of all the place he could chose to start, the brunette had to pick the swampy river town to start his newest expedition into the land unbeknownst to him. The moody atmospheric town reminded him of the Forest of Wavering Mist back home. The town was a series of small wooden huts stretch along the shore of a canal. The town is split in two, each side similar to one another. Small boats and canoe travels between the canal, docking at the old wooden platforms, standing above the murky water. The structures, and the pathway, all made of wood, withered, as if they had been eaten away by the water down beneath. To explore the town, one must use the canoe to get across to the other side. Lazaro is connected to the main land through a series of worn out fences, crawled over by the Weeping Willows, protecting the town as its Safe Zone barrier. Beyond that lies the untamed wilderness.

Traversing across Lazaro, Husky gather any bits of information he could get as to what lies beyond the safe zone. Supposedly, the floor resemble a swampy area. Lurking in the water are monster type fish that would deal damage to any unfortunate souls who'd fallen into the water. Beside that, the swamp is the home of most reptiles that could be found in any swamp: crocodiles, snakes, lizards,... However, a special information that arose Husky's interest was a small brief of a giant serpent under the water toward the east of town, where thunder storm shrouded the area. It might proven to be a a good place to test his strength against the beast, and to see whether or not he is ready for the higher floors. Accompanied by his trusty companion, Husky set out toward East, finding whatever intel he could gather that can be use to tell him more of this monster reside within the water.

  9. Just as the melodious notes concluded the song, so does his trailing thoughts for the performance. His mind returned to the small opening that the stage was built upon. The singer had just finished the song, and now, she's taking a brief rest before continuing the performance. As much as Husky wanted to stay and enjoy the small concert, he have businesses needed to attend and taken care for. However, just as he was prepared to leave, a girl -hair of amber red, approached him and strike a small conversation. Her appearance seemed almost familiar, like he had met her somewhere. Snapped out of his train of thoughts, husky replied, "Indeed" his face grew a gentle smile, his voice sound warm and lighthearted. "It's certainly a spectacle seeing how much details has been added to the game. It's just a shame that people took so long to recognize it"

It's true, that many time he has been left in awe to the ingenuity in the game design. So many tiny details were paid so much attention to, all helped the game's quality. It's surprising how huge these little subtle details could impact the game for the best. It's indeed a shame all these magnificent little things being overshadowed by the death sentence given to everyone, that is the game itself. The brunette shook away the depressing thoughts, returning himself to the conversation he had with the girl he just met.

  10. Seeing his partner swept through the Banshee with ease, Husky dropped his fighting posture. "Well that was rather anti-climatic" The brunette told himself, as the notification window popped up above where the Boss was slain, congratulating their victory. He has expected an intense struggle between two side, rather than a quick effortless pushover. However, Husky was still somewhat glad that the fight end quickly, otherwise, it might have ended badly for him. "That went a lot better than I had anticipated." The Warrior let out with a rather lighthearted tone, leaned back and stretch his hands into the air, letting out a sigh of relief.

Hearing Aereth's story of his lost, Husky had a brief moment of silence. However, hearing the red player's question, the Warrior spoke up his mind. "I'm sorry for your lost. I would never understand what you have gone through... for I have never truly lost someone that I treasured most. My whole life, I've been taking the right turns, one after another, so I shouldn't even allowed to have a saying in this." Husky spoke. His eyes gleamed, a solemn look. "But studying in Law school, I know exactly what you are going through. I have seen hundreds of similar cases, all lost their loves ones. What matters, is what differentiate you from them. What makes you different. You can still stop the killing before it is too late." Husky raised his tone. His eyes now a look of determination, filled with courage.

"To answer your question of what to do with these guys. We punish them just like we would in the real world... the old world of ours." The brunette stood tall, sharing his resolution. At this moment, nothing seemed to matter, even when he's talking to a Red Player in the wild area, opposing to his ideas. "The Knight of Blood is a big guild. You can seek an audience with one of the council members. They seemed to be good peoples, they could certainly help. Maybe providing a place to put these criminal. If not, then we could ask other guilds for assistance."

    ----

OOC: Alright then. I'll role play accordingly.

  11. Finally, returned to his home floor after a long arduous day; but nonetheless, it was a progressive day. The brunette did managed to meet up with an old friend of his. She seemed rather more lighthearted than the last time he had saw her. Her expression lightened, and she seemed to put more trust in him than the last time, maybe she wouldn't want to put too much faith in someone who drank a whole Sake bottle as their first impression.

Chuckling at his own silly mistake, Husky laid back to his chair before the fireplace. His pet rested comfortably just beside him. A cup of tea to his side and the little intel journal was all he could ever ask for. It's a small delightful thing that he had grown to enjoy over his time in Aincrad. The small little things. It did seemed rather a much more older things to do for someone of his age, but it's something he enjoy. Reading something interesting under the fireplace, sipping away a good cup of tea.

    THREAD COMPLETE

  12. Husky was rather pleased when Teion accepted his invite. He would prefer to have a partner rather than venturing alone, even though the way back isn't that far away. Having someone there allows him to have a moment of solace, where he could relax without worrying about getting ambushed by monsters. The couple paused along the way, as Teion discovered the strange flower. "Isn't this relaxing?" Husky questioned, as the two returned to their travel, walking down the same trodden dirt path that lead them to the Monkey King. "All quiet, not many people nor monsters around to disturb the little peaceful air..." The brunette let out a light sigh, enjoying the moment while it last.

Along the way, the two did trade a few information together. Husky had informed his partner about heading out to floor seventh tomorrow to search for a rumored boss located near The Eye, the tallest peak amongst the ranges of mountains on the floor. In turn, he received a few answers regarding Teion's shop, and how she has fair over the past time since they have rescued the little girl lost inside the dark cave. Not before long, they reached the bridge that would lead up to the Hanging Village above the green trees. "I guess this is where we parted. I certainly hope we would met again someday. Take care." Husky waved goodbye, before heading back up to the hanging bridges, before teleporting away at the gate.

  13. Back to Floor One. Husky has never grown to like this place all together, but they do have some good ingredients for cooking. It's a hassle having to travel down a few floors just for cooking ingredients, but it's a worth trade-off for their cheap price. Strolling through the market street, Husky couldn't help but admired the place in its liveliest time. A community living their normal life, almost like they've been living in this place since the beginning of time. "Seemed like they have adapt to the lifestyle here." The brunette looked around, pondering to himself. There're even a live music performance. Spending most of his time in the upper floor, the brunette had seemingly grown unaware to the events unfolding back in the first floor. Maybe he should go a have a look for himself.

There was a crowd gathered just before the stage, mostly of players from around the town, come to see the performance. Standing from afar, Husky leaned against a light post, gazing upon the scene with slight awe. It's amazing how well people could adapt to this new life they were given to without a choice, seeing how fast some could break under circumstances. Maybe it's best that things stay this way. People have food and entertainment, a small economic system to go around; all combine makes them forget of the depressing truth behind it all, that they still might be stuck here for the rest of their lives. Shaking away those surreal and depressing thoughts, Husky focused back to the stage, where the NPC has returned for the next song.

He remembered this particular track. It was a hit back in the real world during his time staying in Japan. The melody sound almost the same, with a few minor differences that he could tell. Husky had never had much of a liking for the music culture, but he had grown to appreciate them. It helps some people to express their real personality through the songs they listen or sang. Husky grew a lighthearted smile, looking to the stage, and enjoy the melodious lyrics, sang by the NPCs up on the stage.

  14. There was a short pause when Grave comments on the location of the shop. "You're not particularly correct." Husky finally replied, approaching behind the counter and switched back to his normal bartender outfit, now that the expedition has finished. "Not many people know of this place, and not a lot venture out to these woods often." Husky explained, while preparing the Sake bottle. "I don't mind thought. It's quiet out here, and the whole place served more as a home than a shop." The brunette went on, before he returned to a table, and sat down with Grave.

"But now... Please, enjoy. This is on the house." Husky spoke with a smile. His composure certainly contrast with the scar on his face. He pour the small sake bottle into two cup. The crystal clear liquor gave off a pleasant scent for those who have learned to enjoy consuming such product. "I hope you are old enough to drink." Husky chuckled slightly, taking a sip off his cup. The strong taste of the sake blended well on his tongue. With a short pause, the brunette gulped down the liquor, leaving behind a satisfying taste.

(OOC: I think we should wrap it up in your post.)

  15. 12 hours ago, Ariel - The Crowned Lion said:

I forgot to say that you should add some major energy consumption to it. Maybe even more than sword arts as this could be something used for stalling for time and tiring both you and you opponent. Again, more the initiator than the target.

That could also be implemented to give some restriction to being able to hold someone down indefinitely. The user would suffer an initial Energy cost scaling with their MA rank, and another Energy cost for every turn they keep the hold on the target.

  16. 1 hour ago, Baldur said:

I'm not a huge fan of grappling. I've never seen it done well in a system and I've played a lot. In your example if i had MA. I could run up to someone and grapple them with a 1 in 12 chance of them getting out. Then, since if i let go i get a free attack the same turn i could stun someone. Then grab them until their stun immunity wears off, then stun them again until they either get pissed off and quit the site or die.

I get where you're going at, but I believe I should clarify something.

When you grapple someone, both you and your opponent will be applied the same debuff, and the same thing goes when you let go, you and your opponent will have the debuff removed at the same time. That's not to mention that an attack will be needed to successfully land for you to grapple, taking in Evasion as a valid factor. The same thing would apply to the part where you let go to attack.

However, if this were still not enough to balance the attack, there's always room to fix. A cool down timer could be add to avoid spamming grapple consecutively, and freeing the player from the move would require an action post, removing the "attacking in the same turn" feature.

The reason why I want it to be implement was to add some realism into the actual gameplay, since there're nothing really stopping you from stopping an opponent either by tackle or grapple onto them. Also, like Ariel say, it also give players an incentive to learn Martial Art for the skill, not just to boost their damage by unlocking some specific Sword Arts. But then again, I could be wrong.

  17. Husky let out a chuckle to the lighthearted joke Grave has told. "I don't do much crafting revolving sweets, but I could always give it a try." The brunette replied on their way back. Seeing the young lad so enthusiastic about meeting the small place of his, Husky couldn't help but chuckle. Closely listening to Grave, he was excited that of all the people, he found someone with so much in common. Maybe the two could be friends for a long time, or rivals. Only time could tell.

Going back to the third floor, Husky felt like he has return home. Accompanied by his newly met partner, the two entered the Forest of Wavering Mist, returning to the small tavern located within the ominous forest. Walking for a few minute, trailing the trodden dirt path, the two found a small single story building. A lantern sway ever so slightly, illuminating the path, and the sign of the establishment. "Hakkasan's Tavern" it carved into the old withered oak wood. "This is it. A humble place for adventurers to come by and take a rest." Husky nodded, open the door for his friend. "After you. Maybe you can try out the new 'Sake' bottle I crafted, and give me some comment.

  18. Not to be discouraged by the emptiness of the area, Richard pushed on, heading to a different path. Walking down the same empty hallways, Richard quietly listen to the ambient surrounding. The brunette followed the old maze solving strategy, on taking only left turns, so when the path leads to the dead end, he only have to turn right to backtrack himself to the previous location. However, each path seemingly lead to no where. A wrong turn bring him right back to where he started, and there's no way to mark the path he had chosen, making navigation all the more difficult. It had started to became a hassle to even move anywhere without returning to where he had started.

Taken one wrong turn. Richard was sent back to the kitchen room he had just entered. Frustrated by the fact that he had made all those progress for nothing, the Warrior slammed his hand down onto one of the wooden table hard. That was when his attention was directed to Woofles. The little wolf-cub was standing in a fighting pose, his fang shown, as if readied to pounce forward to attack anyone. The brunette quickly dashed toward his little pet wolf, grabbed him then dash for the furthest table at the corner of the room and hide.

  19. Roaming through the empty hallway, Richard took a left turn. To his surprise, he found himself in a rather large room. The room was filled with tables and benches. This is where the guards reside to refill their stomach with food. Luckily, none of the guard are present at the moment. Maybe it's worth to look through the area to find any clue or something that would tell Richard where he are, or even a map laying around, telling the layout of the entire establishment.

Rummaging through the kitchen area, Richard was quite disappointed that there're no cooking ingredients available for him to grab. He shouldn't expect that level of detail however, considering this place represent a very old dungeon, and the fact that it's still a game. Turning back to the main area, the brunette took a scan around the walls. There're not much decoration, except for a few withered banners, and wall mount torches that seemingly burning without end.

This sounds as a nice idea but only in using the duel system, like a duel 'mod'. In actual free combat I see it giving a too great advantage in a '1 vs group' situations, for the group of course. I'd say this is in the general direction of what @Baldur and @Takao plan for the MA skill for 3.0, to have it be used alongside one handed weapons.

The idea of having it as a mod only for dueling is a good touch for balancing, but that wasn't really what I planned for. Since in a one vs one duel, there're no real reason why someone would use this, since it doesn't gain any bonuses, and the crowd control effect applied to both players. The purpose of this was to add some aspect of realism into Role Play, since there's practically no reason why you couldn't run up and hold someone down.

With that being said, it does give a large advantage to a group of PK trying to attack an individual, since one with high MA rank can ran up and grab the person while the others wail away.

You should increase the difficulty to break free for 2 handed weapon users as... well, both their hands would be busy holding the weapon. Maybe think about having the Athletics and Sprint & Acrobatics mods in the mix since they're like 'avatar enhancement' mods.

I like this bits you mentioned. I over looked the mods for armor, hence didn't mention it. It's a great additional detail to add for the skill.

  21. This is something that I had thought of a while back, and also something I wanted to be implemented into the game.

The Idea is very self explanatory. In combat versus another Player (either NPC control, or actual players), you can ran up to them and attempt to tackle. It works like a stun, but applied on both the user as well as the target. The user will need to roll a successful Battle Die to grapple the enemy, and as long as they are grapple, you can hold them down, decrease their Evade stat to 0, as well as your own. At anytime during the grappling, the user can let go of their target; however, as soon as you let go, the Evade debuff will be nullified to both party. Any other crowd control effects such as Stun, Paralysis or Freeze would cancel the grapple, freeing the enemy from the user's grasp.

While being grapple, the enemy must roll a Crafting Die to attempt to break free.  A CD of 6+ is the standard to escape a player without MA. However, escaping difficulty will increase based of MA rank of the user, and for every rank that the User invested into MA, the CD roll is increased by 1, 2 if MA is Grand-Mastered. (The result will be a CD of 12+ for a player without Martial Art to escape a player with Grand-Master Martial Art). However, the Dice roll will also be affected by the enemy's Martial Art rank. For every rank invest, the CD die will be subtracted by 1, to a minimum of 1. Therefore, a Grand-Master Martial Artists would need CD of 7+ to escape the grasp of another Grand-Martial Artist. Furthermore, <<Athletic>> and <<Sprint and Acrobatic>> Armor mod could also contribute to escaping, each giving +1 CD in struggling.

    To recap

    Quote

A CD of 6+ is the standard to escape a normal player without Martial Art grapple
A CD of 12+ is needed for a player with no armor mod or Martial Art to break free from a Grand-Master Martial Artist
A CD of 10+ is needed for a player with armor mod and no Martial Art to break free from a Grand-Master Martial Artist
A CD of 7+ Is needed for Grand-Master Martial Artist with no armor mod to break free from a Grand-Master Martial Artist
A CD of 5+ Is needed for Grand-Master Martial Artist with armor mod to break free from a Grand-Master Martial Artist

Using the Ability would put it on a cool down of 5 turns, and cost ( 5 * MA Rank) Energy, at a minimum of 5 Energy. Additionally, for every turn holding the player down, it would cost the user extra 5 Energy per turn. If the player have less energy than the requirement, they will be force to let their target go.

  22. Standing aside, Husky watched Teion ended the boss. Her fluent movement seemingly as if she was dancing, rather than attacking the beast. The axe on her hand illuminated with a radiant light, as the girl with violet hair cleaved the Monkey King with all her might. Using her momentum, she spun a circle and followed with another slash, as her Sword Art diminished, leaving behind an "X" mark, as fragments of the boss shoots out from the wound. Her attack drained the little piece of health left on its health bar. The Beast let out a loud thunderous groan; it squirmed violently. Not long after, its body glowed with a blinding light. It bursts to million shards, all soon faded into thin air.

A notification window appeared just before the boss, congratulate the two player for taking the beast down. Husky could only let out a long sigh, brushing the dirt off his clothing and armor. "It's alright. You can keep the drops if you wish. Loot drops isn't the biggest of my concern." Husky smiled, refusing Teion offer of a larger share. Turning back to the opposite direction of the chasm, looking back at the hanging town. "If you don't mind, could I ask of you to accompanied me back to Town? It's always better to have someone to accompanied you on the way." The brunette tilted his head to his companion, his face still keeping the gentle smile.

  23. What Aereth said does strike some point. It would be a waste to use the only chance you have to rid yourself of the player killer status, only to get back to square one as a Red player again. "T'is true... But does killing always have to be the answer?" The brunette spoke out. Seemingly, the whole idea is like death row in real life. He has learned and debated a lot about such sensitive subject. It's a controversial topic to mention, one that humanity would spend a lot more time pondering about. "I'm not trying to patronize anyone, but would it be better if those who committed such crimes to be punished with a more... appropriate punishment than death?" Husky questioned, direct at Aereth's ideology and methods. "Kill to end killing, that doesn't sound right." Husky spoke out, almost forgetting the fact he's facing against a player that would be twice his level, not to mention a red player. Then again, he has proven himself trust worthy enough for the brunette to express his ideas and thoughts.

Upon entering the room, the Banshee revealed itself as an old lady's ghost. Its face seemed ever so mortified, even for a ghastly figure such as one. Just as Husky tightened his gauntlet strap, readied for a battle, the monster let out a deafening shriek. Covering his ears from exploding, Husky took a knee, trying to keep himself balanced from falling down. With no warning, just as the shrieking end, four undead monster emerged from the surrounding graves, each brandished with a sword and shield, wearing viking helmets. Just as Aereth charged for the battle, Husky simply nodded, comply with the Red player's plan.

Averting the attentions of all Undead Guardians away from Aereth while he take on the boss, Husky take on the four monsters. The monsters seemed like they would deal a hefty amount of damage if the Silver Warrior were to be careless. Every step in this battle matters. Backing up slowly until the four monster grouped up to a small area. Using his strongest Area of Effect skill, <<Tornado Kick>>, Husky leaped forward. His leg extended, swept through all four monsters. The Undead Guardians didn't stood a chance, all four collapsed. Now, onto the Banshee

  24. Almost as if he closed his eyes and let fate guide his way, Husky pushed himself through the bushes. Woofles laid on top of Husky's shoulder pad. The two made their way through the dark forest. Some odd luck, they didn't encounter any monster on the way. Then, the commotion started again. This time, more violently than usual.

"This is it!" Husky had a feeling that the Boss is stirred again. He only have a limited amount of time to reach the destination. Running as fast as he could toward the source, the Brunette bypassed some monsters along the way. Running forward, he reached an opening. Standing before him, was the monster he has been searching for all day.

As the beast turned to look at him, he have had a bad feeling about this. It was most definitely a lot more stronger than he could ever handle on his own. His hands were trembling when the creature began approaching his direction. Husky quickly dashed back behind the trees. There's only a split second for him to act. The brunette converted his map details into a small map fragment in his inventory. Just before he could do anything, the tree he was hiding behind was uprooted.

Act purely on instinct, Husky leaped forward. In his hand equipped the same teleportation crystal he had prepared. In a crackling voice of panic, Husky called out the town of his home. "Teleport, Delilah!
