  1. *Click* With a light push of the door, a familiar ring echoes throughout the little shop. Stepping forward, the floors ached as each foot fell to the ground until he stopped in the middle of the room. A chilling breeze blew past his snowy white hair, as his scarlet red eye scanned the room. It's been ages since the wanderer had last stepped inside this place, which he once considered his sacred home and workplace. One day he decided to just up and disappear from this world, and wander the floor away from everything... and everyone. He hated no ones or anything, but you could say this entire incident finally got to him. Stepping a few more feet forward, he made his way towards his workshop. His little lab of sorts behind the door next to the counter. With a quick turn of the knob, he slowly pushed the door open, letting off a slightly loud squeak. Clearly there's going to be a bunch of upkeep needed to be done. Stepping into the darkness, he opens a small bottle which slowly released little white orbs which look like wisps. Eventually, it lit up and covered the entire store. As he saw his little workshop, his somewhat scowling face broke into smirk. "I'm back."

  2. Something that'll kick the tank meta in the bum. (idk, maybe some kind of MIT penetration enhancements being common instead of it being rare. Not necessarily phase, as this could be a lesser percentage or something instead of the whole 50% ya know?)

    Also something that'll give muse. x.x Been empty for months now. :s Calrex, pls share.

    Also still pushing for variety between crafting consumables and non consumables. Crafters that make consumables spend waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more mats than the latter and it really kills the muse. (trust me) My take on this was perhaps increase the cost of the non-consumable production, or maybe let crafters get more out of the 1 consumable. (perhaps a skill or skill more or something which lets us make 2 potions or food out of 1 material.)

    I really liked the whole monthly bosses thing, but got it out of hand was how it was handled. Perhaps get a small team to work on the monthly bosses so the game masters don't get swamped. They could come up with the ideas and put it forward to the GMs. They'll control the bosses. This way, we can probably have a couple of different bosses running at the same time (maybe different bosses?) and keep the groups smaller.

  3. As the rest of the group discussed among themselves where to start the quest, the wanderer had been already checking HUD for clues on where to start. It didn't take long however to figure out exactly what to do. "Says here we're to find a dog named, Toto. From there we'll be given instructions. Seems simple enough," the wanderer says as he casually looks up to the rest of the group. Everyone seemed anxious to start this quest already, but where to exactly begin was the problem. They had to look for a dog somewhere. Once they find the dog, the quest will officially start. It seems simple at first, until you think about where to start looking. "So.... where do start finding the dog? You guys have any idea? I've heard some rumors of north of town, but that's just a rumor." The wanderer then began to dive back into his search in his HUD, perhaps he could find something if the rest of his group couldn't.

  5. OOC: @Birdie, That 3rd set of Crafter's Respites doesn't exist.  I haven't updated my stock nor have i been crafting, could you wait a bit? I have the rolls ready, but I need to wait for the evaluations. 

    For the 3rd time in a row, a low leveled player has been frequenting the wanderer shop and constantly buying Crafter's Respites. It's like her mats pool is bottomless. As she came waltzing in for the 3rd time in the past week, she tried buying crafter's respites once again. Unfortunately for the wanderer, he hasn't been crafting as of late so he's going to have to make her wait for a bit. This is completely against the wanderer's code. He's set himself to standard of good customer service, having to make her wait would be atrocious, but it's inevitable as he has to wait for his potions. "I uh... could you give me a bit of time? I haven't been crafting recently so you're going to have to wait a bit for those crafter's Respites. Just come back later or tomorrow, they should be done." He says as he scrambles around trying to get his ingredients ready to craft.

  6. OCC: @Keres I just wanted to know what items you specifically wanted. The anger towards was just RP. anger from the last guy spread towards you. na mean?

    The wanderer's temper was slowly becoming more evident. He was never like this, but ever since he completed his Calming the Soul quest, he's never been the same. His short temper seemed to have grown even shorted, too, ever since that one fateful lab accident where his eyes changed colors from it's original azure. He never meant to show this amount off anger. He's never even this angry on a normal basis. Especially over something so petty as not reading the sign. As his anger rose some more - not necessary due to customers, but more so on his own anger, he suddenly felt a throbbing pain behind his left eye. He sat back as he applied pressure on it with his left hand. Not wanting to hold up the line, he pushed on through the pain until it eventually subsided.

    "Yeah that's fine." He says as he swipes his fingers in the air and send the potions towards the player who didn't read the sign.

    "If that's what you want..." he say as he began to swipe his finger yet again in the air. "And no... you weren't clear. I highly doubt my supplies would ever run low of these low quality potions so that's why I wanted to know what you wanted specifically." The wanderer then sends her her potions as he looked about the next customer with a somewhat sad face. It was true though. He makes dozens of these low quality potions every week and it can drive someone insane when no one ever buys them. Honestly, he's better off just selling them to merchants, but what good could that really do to the community?

    As he swipes his fingers some more in the air, the peculiar player for before finally decides on his items. 3 uncommon potions. It was surprising. Normally, people would go gaga over the rare potions, but nope. Not this guy. He decided to take 3 uncommon potions and that's it. "Are you sure that's all?" He asked before sending the items.

    As he finishes dealing with the remaining players a somewhat familiar voice came echoing from the crowd. Eventually the voice got closer. And of course, she didn't read the sign entirely. Somewhat bummed from this whole ordeal, thinking it'd be a great way to help the community of equality trapped in a death game. But nope. This has become more of a nuisance than anything. "There's a sign." He says as he casually points to it. "'Max of 5 potions person; Max of 3 rare potions per person.' Meaning... At most, you can grab 3 rare potions and 2 uncommon potions." The wanderer didn't want to sound condescending, but having to repeat ones self multiple times just doesn't have that "fun" ring to it. "Anyways.. choose what you want and then I'll approve it." He says as he sat back into his chair and got comfy. "Yep... this is starting to become a nuisance... oh well... gonna have to see it through the end." He thought to himself.

    "Aahh! Finally! Someone actually read my pricing! Tell you what, I'll take just the 3 materials for the 2 crafter's tonic. You have no idea how happy it makes me to see someone look at the pricings. Everyone, they always ask, 'how much is this? or how much is that?' It's like they don't even read!" The wanderer kept talking on and on and on. It was completely out of character for him, but in all honestly, almost no one ever reads the prices of his potions. They always ask him how much it is. Math was never a strong subject for the wanderer to begin with and dealing with a business, that just dumped a lot of math on math. of course, they were simple problems, but the task just felt monotonous and boring. As the wanderer fiddled with his HUD he accepts the trade and gives the young lady the potions. "Here's your stuff."

  8. "Giving these out for free won't even make that much of a dent in my stock, don't worry." The wanderer said as he finished dealing with peculiar player. As he began to walk off, he began to compare the wanderer himself to the NPCs, somewhat annoyed he shot back, "There's a reason I'm the 2nd highest ranking alchemist in game! Pffftt!" It was completely out of character, but something about comparing the wanderer's work to that of the NPCs just somehow infuriated him.

    As he turned back around, he sees new player browsing his potions. Soon after, he tried asking for 5 rare potions. At first, a vein popped from the wanderer's forehead as he contemplated on how blind this player could have been. There was a sign that literally says a "max of 3 rare potions per person." He wrong that specifically so he doesn't run out of rare potions and everyone can get a chance to grab those. After a few seconds, however, the wanderer cooled down. He stayed calm and collected - of course he doesn't look like that with the recent accident. As his crimson red eye glazed over the player, the had a look of disappointment and anger - but of course, that's just his normal face. He took a deep breathe in. "There's a max of 3 rare potions per person. I wrote it on the sign." Calm, collected, and it didn't sound too condescending. "If I gave you 5 rare potions, that wouldn't be fair to everyone else that's gotten potions, now would it? Besides, I wrote that specifically so I can get rid of all my uncommon products. No one ever buys them."

    As the wanderer sat there explaining, another new face came waltzing in, asking for the same exact thing that the guy before her just asked for. "Ugh.... look, there's a sign. Please read them. There's more to the rules after 'max of 5 potions per person.'" The wanderer stuck his hand on his face, then slowly moved it down covering his mouth. He was baffled. And disappointed. But more so baffled. It's like no one's bothering to read the sign. He should fix this next time he does this. This happened last time too. "Okay. You two, choose 3 rare items and 2 uncommon items, understood?" As he finishes he sit back on his chair. Hopefully, by next time, they'll have something picked out.

  9. As the wanderer finally catches up with the group, he's instantly greeted with a "Traitor!" from his former guildmate. Which really didn't make sense. Yes, he was part of the guild for a moment, but he left as he felt the guild wasn't the right for him. With the main leader up and disappearing, it had felt stagnant. Of course, the wanderer also had plans to one day leave as he doesn't like to stay in one place for a very long time - in fact it's about long over due for him to move his shop.

    As he sees the group, he lets off a slight chuckle as he faces Macradon. "In what way was I a traitor, mac? Anywho... let's get this quest going, I want that cauldron as soon as possible. Customers are waiting" - that last part a complete lie as he hasn't really had much business as of late, but the same could be said for almost everyone there. "Let's go." As the wanderer trails off with those words, he summons his newly forged weapon, Wanderer's Light, custom made by Oikawa himself. "I wanna break this guy in."

  10. With a quick push of the door, the wanderer made a bee line straight towards the backdoor. Within moments, he quickly got to work on his daily crafts. He's been slacking at work and recently, he's been even more of a slack. Wanting to fix that, he got straight into work this day. After a few minutes, he finishes his first batch of potions like nothing. He then casually opens his HUD and takes out another Crafter's Tonic. He quickly chugs down the tonic and quickly back to work. He's working double this time. He needs to catch on his work since he's really behind. After another set of minutes, he finishes his set of potions and walked back out to the front counter. He then casually stores his new potions. His face was somewhat disappointed since he didn't manage to make a lot of perfect potions like before. It was just average, but that's okay. Atleast he still managed to make perfect potions. That's more than most people.

  11. OOC: omg! I knew i missed one! So sorry! I'm writing now! D:

    Rushing out of the portal of the 7th floor, the wanderer began running at a random direction. He saw a notice on the announcements about Hirru forming a party to go dungeon diving. He was probably late by now, but he was hoping there would still be room. As he ran around Nimbus, he couldn't find his former guildmate. After a few minutes of running and wandering, he stopped to take a breather. As he stood there hunched over and gasping for breath, he opened his HUD. He was sure he knew exactly where he was going already so he figured he didn't need his map. But, true to the wanderer's nature, he was dead wrong. It seems he had been running in the wrong side of the city. After another minute of resting, he took one deep breathe before running towards the other side of the city.

    It didn't take long this time to find and reach the Jaded Hunter. His green scalp stuck out easily even though the lighting in this city were of green crystals. Once he was close enough he raised his hands to wave the already fairly sized group. "Hey, got room for one more?" He said as he began to tinker with his HUD and bringing out his new weapon of choice, A silver colored spear with a snow white tassle near the bladed tip. It had been custom made by OIkawa himself. There was nor more katana wielding for the wanderer.

  13. OOC: Was hoping more people would post, so i can just do bulk posts... oh well.

    As the wanderer finishes with Baldur's selection, a woman came storming in with a slight glint in her eyes. It's like she's one of those women who would just in on a sale without second guessing it. This was of course completely different from a sale. This was literally free stuff. She at first tried to get a lot of potions, but eventually she chose 3 rare mitigation potions and 2 uncommon ones. "Just all mitigation? You know you can never get anywhere with mitigation..." He says as he accepts the trade and sends the potions to the hooded player.

    As he finishes dealing with the hooded player, another player came strolling by. This player, seemed kind of like a frontline veteran... but that could have been just his look, seeing as the wanderer has joined the frontline meetings and has never seen him before. The wanderer may not look like much, but he's the 2nd highest ranked alchemist in Aincrad and his level is fairly high enough that a frontline veteran has even invited him to join the frontlines. The only reason he's even doing this is to help the lower leveled players to reach higher levels and help with the frontline battles.

    As the player began taking, he had asked for health and damage potions - which is simple to deal with. "I have uncommon, and rare potions of both health and damage here for free. If you're looking for perfect quality of those kind, then stop by my shop on the 4th floor. I have basically every alchemical enchancement you can make in stock - hopefully - there." The wanderer spoke as he opened his menu. He took out the 1 rare damage, 1 rare health, 1 uncommon health and 1 uncommon damage, and showed it to the player.

    Tending to his business as usual, the wanderer sat there bored out of his mind as he waited for his daily crafts to reset. It was hassle of wait for his crafts, but the wanderer had decided to start making potions daily again, so he had to wait. As he sat there, a peculiar player came strolling in asking for crafter's respites and hopefully lowered prices...

    "sorry, I can't treat you differently from everyone else. These are the set prices for everyone. Although..." He thought for a second on how he could somehow help the budding tailor. "How about this, I'll give you the two crafter's respites, but in return, I want a perfect T2 black formal wear w/o a necktie (+1 EVA, +36 Mit). You can name it whatever you want. I'm not in particularly in a hurry so you can grab these now and just drop them off when you're done with the cloths." The wanderer says, kind of hoping the budding tailor would take his offer. He had been in a mood for a change and looking more posh would be something new he can bring to the frontlines.

    As he finishes dealing with the budding tailor, the wanderer realizes that his daily crafts have reset. He quickly rushed to the back of the shop and quickly got to work. After an hour of toiling and a loud explosion, the wanderer walks back out with a grin on his face. He had managed to make 9 perfect potions in today's batch.

  15. Blinded by the white light, the wanderer casually walked forward out of the portal. As he opened his eyes, he's welcomed by the dark, gloomy forest that was the 15th floor. "Who's idea was it make such a depressing place like this?" He thought to himself as he opened his map. This was his first time ever here in the 15th floor, and from the looks of it, he has no plans on coming back after all these quests are done. "Right,  it should be this way." He thought as he began walking towards the direction of supposed meeting place that Zandra had told him. She had asked him to join him in a new quest line. Rumor has it, you can obtain a crafting item that boosts the rarity on items. He had to hop on this opportunity.

    As he came closer to the destination, the wanderer began to tinker his HUD, eventually taking out a small black vial. He quickly chugged the vial then tossing it on the ground. As he kept walking, he felt his stats rise up.

    Off in the distance, he sees 3 people who seemed to be waiting for him. One of which seems to be Zandra. "Crap, looks like I'm late."

  17. Taking a deep breathe in, then out, the wanderer prepared himself to get to work. Day 3 on him, going back to work, he still felt off. He had missed a lot of days during his break and ever since his return, he's decided to double time on his crafts.

    As he began to work on his potions, his first couple of potions were of perfect quality. Followed by potions of rare quality. After 20 minutes he had finished working on his first batch of his daily crafts. He then quickly swipes open his HUD and takes out a liquid from his inventory. It was the last of the Refreshing Liquid that Zandra gave him. He quickly chugged it down and began working on his next batch. Next batch wasn't as promising as the first, however. He had only managed to make 1 perfect potion and the rest were just of lower quality. Atleast there wasn't any explosions, but still...

  19. It didn't take as long as the wanderer had initially thought, after getting everyone's order's written down, the blacksmith hurried off to his anvil and began creating his crafts. After a few moments, he returned with what seemed to be everyone's orders, right to the very groove. "Honestly, in the real world, there's no way it would take this long to craft weapons..." He thought to himself. This game made sure to not include magic to the system, but the speed it took the blacksmith, it was almost magical.

    The wanderer quickly looked over his new spear. It was strong, yet somewhat light. Everything about it was made, all the way down to the small details the wanderer had asked for. He quickly opened his HUD and accepted the weapon. "Domo... Arigato.. " he says as he slightly lowers his head and waltz out of the shop. He was excited to break in his new weapon.

  20. As the wanderer stood in front of his little shop, he casually cracks his knuckles before pushing through the doors to start his day. The wanderer's body wasn't used to returning back to work so he felt really tired. This entire thing felt like too much of a hassle early in the morning. Perhaps he'll get back into the groove of things one day, but that day doesn't seem to be today.

    Without second guessing his movements, the wanderer quickly made his way to the backroom where he quickly began working on his daily potions. Within moments, an explosion echoed throughout the shop. followed by a few seconds of silence before another loud explosion. But that was the only case of explosions for today. After those two, it was complete silence, and the wanderer walks back out to the front of the counter with some semblance of satisfaction. He didn't exactly make a lot of perfects, but it an okay batch.

  21. Pushing through the somewhat familiar artisan shop, the wanderer casually walked through the shop and quickly made his way to the counter. He had ordered some items some time ago and had only received one of them. There was one more item that was lacking, so the wanderer decided to wait for a bit in hops that it will be done by, about now. "Ohayo... "The wanderer says. It wasn't morning or anything, but recently, this has become his new greeting for everyone. It kind of just, stuck.

    The wanderer looked at the shop owner in the eyes, to show respect - since it's proper to talk to someone while looking at them in the eyes. "I'm here to pick up the remainder of my order.." he says as he scanned the shop inventory. Soon eventually finds his order and grabs it. "I payed already last time, so I'll be taking this now. Thank you for your services." says the wanderer before making his way through the store door and exiting the shop.

  23. It has been almost a week now since the wanderer himself last stepped inside his little caravan shop to create potions for the masses. There hasn't been many customers as of late - other than his loyal customer, Baldur. So the wanderer had decided to take some time off. That supposed week he decided to spend, seemed to have dragged on for about 3 weeks now. But now it's time to kick things back into gear. His sights were dead set on becoming a Grandmaster Alchemist.

    Within moments of stepping into the doors, the wanderer's swift feet glided through the floor and straight to the backroom, where he created his potions. At first, there was no sign that he was getting any work done, after a few minutes, an explosion blew up, soon followed by silence before another loud explosion blew up. Soon after, another explosion blew up, and after an hour's work, one final explosion before the wanderer stepped back out to the front counter. His face completely covered in soot. He had almost forgotten the feeling of having that silky black dust on his face. "Looks, like I'm back..." He silently thought to himself as he quietly began to store the new potions.

  24. The wanderer kept his eyes pierced at his HUD. He was anxious for this dungeon boss fight. It wasn't because this was his first dungeon boss or anything, but more on the fact that this would be the highest leveled boss, he's ever dealt with. As the wanderer's mind wandered off, he flips back into reality when the group began talks of the treasure in the chest and that there could be a unique item inside. "If there were uniques in that chest, that'd be awesome if you can get some kind of phase weapon" The wanderer thought to himself, or so he thought he was thinking it. For nth time, he mind has managed to trick him into saying what he was thinking - which was odd for this has only been happening recently. Without another second thought, words flew out of the wanderer's mouth, trying to play it cool and act like he meant to say those words. "Call me greedy, but if If i could get my hands on a phase weapon, I'd be dealing with less tanks trying to duel me in the arena."

    As the talks went on, Baldur drops a question, that's been somewhat lingering the wanderer's mind. Floor bosses. He's been somewhat hesitant to join the frontlines so far since he wasn't sure if he himself can handle all the damage that was heading their way. I mean, he was still new, but he was still a budding playing back then when he had heard news of the Rohk boss, who managed to kill a good amount of people. Hesitant, the wanderer spoke his mind. "I haven't actually joined any floor bosses yet. I was thinking of joining the next one, but I'm still not entirely sure if my armor's beefy enough. I have the damage, but the survivability.. I don't know.." Just as the wanderer finishes his words, he spots in the corner of his eyes that his energy's full. "Looks like my energy's ready." He says without hesitation.
