  1. You know, I think in my perspective, there should a mechanic in Aincrad where armor layering is possible.

    If you have seen how medieval people don their armors, then you would be familiar with the procedure.

    I think armor layering may be helpful as, erm, it could increase mitigation as you increase your layers. For instance, a chainmail donned over a gambeson. Or a breastplate donned over chainmail.

    What do you think, inhabitants of Aincrad?

      I usually wear 2 pieces of armor, well I used to.

      My main armor "Blood Crusader's Halfplate" is just halfplate armor over a chain shirt.

      The 3 slots can be whatever you want them to be. Tristan used to wear three pieces of armor, and his weapon was a vanity item cause he never attacked anything.

      But you still have to abide by the enhancement caps, which are character wide, not item wide. So you could have heavy armor and a shield, but you could still only have 3 slots of mitigation total, between the two of them.

      Take a look at Calrex. He has several different sets of gear.
