  1. Able threw his fist at the boulder once again, only to chunk the health bar by a slight amount. Able, thought about what Domarus said when he called him a level one, when he said that he had potential. He scoffed, "I don't need someone to tell me that I have potential. He better watch out, I'll end him sooner or later and I'll claim his head soon, but for now I have to train. I have to get stronger. Once I can make my way to the front lines, I want to help expedite the process of clearing this game and then get the hell out of here." Throwing another fist with his opposite hand he connected, grunted, and went on with the next fist.

The rock was nearing less and less health slowly but surely. That's when it hit him. This isnt to train his physical strength, it's meant to train him as a mental warrior. The capability to endure pain that you are literally inflicting upon yourself will only strengthen you mentally and allow you to handle any pain from another player. This builds a fighter's spirit inside of a player, or it will completely break someone, but one thing was set in stone and that was he wasn't going to lose this battle versus a rock.

  2. The way the sun touched his skin, it burned him more and more the longer he stood there. Although there was a breeze which felt absolutely amazing, he couldn't enjoy the complete potential of it simply because he had a task at hand before him... literally. Able took another swing at the boulder, but didn't exactly do any damage. Of course this is slightly discouraging to him, it wasn't going to stop him altogether. The old man watched him, he didn't speak, he didn't really move either. In all honesty, Able thought the fact he was just standing there watching him break the rock was sort of... strange.

Taking another swing and not doing anything to it was also another way for him to keep his momentum going. He noticed that this is the best way to achieve maximum damage output on the rock. Perhaps he should have waited to do this skill until he got some other stats up first, but again, that would take time and he wouldn't have any way of fighting mobs in the wilderness without this skill.

  3. Able took a deep breath and put another full power hit at the boulder, this time, he could tell he did a number on it, and slowly but surely, he was noticing chunks of rocks breaking off. His fist was torn apart at this point, and he had actually taken some cloth and wrapped them to protect them from further damage. The rock had imprints of his fists now in it, and the pain had gone away. He was grunting between every punch and jab as he was growing tired. Continuous motions without much rest put a number on a person's body, and that was no exception in SAO.

In fact, with the energy system of the game, he had to watch his actions more frequently than he would in real life, because if he ran out of that mid fight, that could be the difference between life and death.

  4. Of all the skills, why did he choose one that required such a tedious task for their quest? Why couldn't he be normal like all of the other people and just go with swords? No, instead he had to be different because he didn't see himself as much of a weapon wielder. The thought crossed his times few, but the times he did think of it, he honestly questioned why he made this choice. He threw another fist at the rock, to see its health drop slightly more. He was making progress, slowly but surely. Able didn't exactly have the intentions to be punching a rock all day, he also didn't know what he was getting himself into and how much time he would be needing to dedicate in order for him to get the skill that he wanted. Growing tired, he was almost tempted to take a break for a while, almost forgetting that if he took a break now, it would only prolong the entire process and make the end further away.

  5. After such a big hit, Able had definitely noticed fatigue kicking in for a quick second, because when he went in for another swing at it, he knew he wasn't doing anything. Taking a step back for a moment, he had to re-evaluate the situation. Was he hitting it right? What were some weak spots for it? Was there any way that he could expedite this process? He felt so dumb for trying to figure out where exactly he should punch a rock, but he knew it was a necessary step at this point. Any help is good help, unless it's healing for the rock... then that'd be bad, but luckily rocks weren't healers... right?

  6. The whisker markings on his face felt strange once they dried, they felt as if his skin was being stretched, but he was told that they can't be removed until he breaks this rock in two, which was another reason why he was in such a haste to complete this quest. He didn't like it when things got on his face and can't come off for a while, it made him feel uncomfortable that he didn't have full control over his body. The sweat pearls began to run down his face, and hung off from the tips of his hair, now being more wet as the heat was definitely terrorizing him. Able then knew he had to do it. He took off his dress shirt and was now standing there shirtless punching the rock.

With the clothes allowing him to move with less restriction, he drew back his arm further this time and went in to punch the rock with as much force as he had in him so that he can get a big hit in. He was noticing finally that the health had to have been about 20 percent lower already and that the rock itself was starting to earn a few cracks in it, but nothing significant enough that could expose it entirely.

  7. Able continued the motion of swinging over and over again. The rock was feeling less and less painful every time he punched it, but that didn't exactly mean it was a good thing either. The pain in his hands become less, but he knew that there was going to be swelling and bruising later on. With one of his more recent punches however, he could feel the pain jolt through his arm, which put a tear on his body. The shock from the poor swinging motion, kept him locked up for a moment, and he took a moment to recollect himself. The pain jolted up all the way through his arm, up his shoulder, and along his neck right to his jaw line almost.

Perhaps, Able needed to relax and take things easier, but he already knew, the more breaks he took that the longer this would take him to complete. He may have nothing but time on his hands, but he also wants to go out there and invest himself further so that he can actually start to make a name for himself in the world of Aincrad and Sword Art Online. This was his life he was training for anyways, so why wait?

  8. With the next swing, Able exhaled more as he released his punch at the rock, thus adding more power, but also making his hand sting slightly worse. The fact that he was feeling the pain worse than the rock was upsetting, but not enough that it discouraged him. He could tell he was making progress and that at this rate, the rock would be in shambles in no time. "I hope my hand goes numb here pretty soon, so I can continue punching this damn rock without feeling a thing. If that happens, I'll swing at it until I drop or until it breaks", he says to himself as he rolls his shoulders to relax a bit more, as he could tell he was tensing up relatively quickly due to stress coming in the form of pain in his hands.

  9. Able took a deep breath and he drew his arm back once again. Swinging forth and connecting with the boulder was a painful process because he could feel the wear and tear that would be imminent in the near future. Nothing was going to feel pleasant after he completed this quest. Not only was he going to feel physically exhausted, but mentally, he will be so tired that he won't have the motif or energy to walk back to the town. Taking a look at his right hand, he could see the redness of the his knuckles getting worse. Grunting and wincing when he opened his fist into an open hand, he then took his left hand and did the same thing.

  10. Able rolled his head in a circular motion in order to crack his neck, and he drew his arm back ready to begin the task he is trying so hard to procrastinate. The boulder was a non fighting foe, but yet here he was intimidated by it's massive size. Able went through with the motion finally and his arm began to go forth at the boulder until his fist met with the boulder. The sting of the hard surface definitely made its mark as it turned his knuckles red in an instant. This was going to be a long process, he could simply tell. The boulder didn't budge. The boulder didn't retaliate, nor did it even show that it took damage. It looked... untouched, and that set a fire in Able's eyes. He didn't like it when things don't turn out the way he expected them to.

This was something he had to do, and whether he wanted to do it or not, he needed that skill to go anywhere in this game. That's when he looked up. There was something that gave him hope that he was making progress after all. It was a health bar right above the rock. Although there wasn't much difference, he could tell it dropped just the slightest amount, and that was all Able needed to keep him motivated and driven to continue going.

  11. Leaning against the wall, which he had found without even paying attention, he slid his back down until he was sitting down. Wiping a sweat pearl from his forehead, he realized the heat of the weather. Of course it didn't exactly help that he was wearing nice dress clothes as his casual get up, but still, the weather would definitely be a punishing factor during this quest. He heard a cough from only feet from him, when he looked over his right shoulder, he saw a man standing there. He was outside of a hut, and how Able didn't notice this building there amazed him. Able stood up immediately, filled with relief that he was actually at the right part of the map, and that he didn't have to go much further.

He approached the man with a smile and he took a look around before he spoke. "I'm here to accept a quest that I've been hearing about?" Able asked the man, and that's when it happened. The menu had opened up in front of him requesting if he would like to officially accept the quest <<Breaking the Unbreakable>>, and without even the slightest hesitation, he pressed the blue circle to accept. That's when the man in front of him looked at him from top to bottom. "I suppose you will do", he said almost disappointed for some strange reason. The NPC then took out something, which must have been paint, because he smeared whiskers onto Able's face. "These whiskers, you see? They may not be removed until you, and you alone, shatter this rock in two with nothing more than your hands and feet."

Able turned to where he was pointing, and there he saw a massive rock. Taking a gulp, he knew that this was no easy task. He nodded his head, as he wasn't afraid that he couldn't do it, he was just afraid of how long this would take. To break a rock of this size wasn't exactly a daily task he had been asked to do. He shrugged his shoulder and rolled up his sleeves up to his elbows, and he was ready to begin the quest.

  12. "Another day, another chance to finally train huh?" Able had been telling himself for weeks now that he needed to go out there and get to doing a quest in order to pursue his build that he desires. He had taken hours to look at what kind of weapon he had wanted to use, only to realize that fighting without a weapon sounded even better. Since then, he had taken the time to accept the quest, Breaking the Unbreakable, but had never actually had the motivation to go and begin the quest. Today was the day where he made his mind up and finally left, otherwise he'd be a pacifist for the remainder of the game, and last he checked pacifists don't do too well on the front lines.

Letting out a tired yawn, he rose from the bench by the teleporter on the first floor and stepped through it. He made his way up to the second floor and left the town immediately. He knew where he had to go. It was a mountain, the summit of it to be exact, a relative distance out as it was near the edge of the floor. It's only a few hours worth of travel, but it would be worth it once he got there as he could rest then. Luckily for Able, he loved to walk around through nature and he did this on a regular basis, so trekking this distance would be a breeze to him. Setting on his way, he let the wind kiss his skin, and his hair waved back and forth with the grass and the leaves of the trees. The sky was blue, and the sun was shining, with clouds randomly coming about to cover the sun only for a moment, which provided a nice set of shade to cool off in just for a moment or so.

As time passed, he spent probably four or five hours walking because when he got back, the sun was at it's peak for the day, which meant that it's probably best that he didn't walk back after he finished the quest and just stayed out for the night near the mountain by the NPC. "Where the hell is this guy?" he asked as he scratched the back of his head. Turning around, he began to look around himself to try and figure out where this NPC stood. However, while being turned around, he was walking in reverse, and before he knew it there was a wall he connected his shoulder blades with.

  13. Able, had been waking up early every morning since the beginning of all of this. He believed, there was no point in sleeping the day away, because if today was his day to die, then at least make use of it to the fullest of your ability, otherwise you died for no purpose. Finding a purpose in life was tough for him at first, he considered suicide, but then he realized, that there's hope to getting out of this game. With his hands in his pockets, he had been on his daily walk in the plains of the first floor for about fifteen minutes now. The rays of the sun had been shining down on the grass, and the wind had been rustling the blades of grass so that they created a swaying motion towards the right, just like his hair did. The red hair, which was grown out slightly longer below his eyes, which were green and sharp, he had a smirk on his face as he enjoyed the feeling of nature touching his skin.

With every step that he took, he could tell he was leaving very slight indents in the grass, only to come back the next day and they're missing as the wind lifts the grass up again and gets it moving once more, fascinating really. Every day, he sees some players finally going out and trying to get up there in the ranks, and then other days he sees the saddest of sights, and that's when a player is slain in combat. He wants to help, but half the time, by the time he would get there, the mob would already have slain the players. It was so risky being out in the plains right now, especially with no skills being invested, he was worse off than a level one, the only thing that would be saving him at this point and time is the fact that he had more health than a low leveled player.

As time passed by and he took the time to walk further, he saw a player in the distance fighting a boar, which was entertaining to watch, because he looked like he was getting the gist of things with the rapier, which he had equipped. The player had blonde hair and he stood shorter than Able, or at least as far as he could tell he was from a distance. Even further out, he saw another person. A female, she wasn't fighting anything, in fact, she happened to be watching, but that's all he could tell as distance always made things harder to see. He let out a stretch with his hands finally coming out of his pockets.

Getting closer and closer to the blonde haired player, he finally stopped only several feet away from him, leaning against a tree, with his hands back inside of his pockets with only his thumbs hanging out to keep his hands at the ready. "Impressive weapon you've got there", Able says as he gestures towards the rapier the player was using. "Looks like you're relatively new to using that weapon style there", he asked in an interested manner. He was almost tempted to go introduce himself, but then he remembered that if he came near the boar, only trouble would be started as it would attack him too. Instead, he'll just have to talk to him from a distance for now.

    @Obiltus @Kasier

  14. "Oh I'm coming.  There's no way I'd miss out on a little excitement." He wasn't sure how he should react to this. He was happy that she'd be there, as he was hoping to get a bit closer, but he was also hesitant to think that especially with how easily she does what she's told. Able was concerned with something going south really quickly, as it's definitely possible that this may all be a scheme do get him killed.  Able wasn't sure what quest he wanted yet, but he knew he had to do one on his own before getting into any real combat situations. Right now, he had no way to fight hand-to-hand like he wants to for his build.

Able used his body to swing himself off of the tree and began to walk towards Keres. He gave her a look into her eyes, he put on hand above her head and moved his other one to her waist. If she liked to mess with people, perhaps he should do the same in return. Play a little bit of fire with fire. He lingered face to face with her, only inches apart, but that's all. He whispered, quiet enough that Domarus can't hear it, even though he knew that she'd tell him later most likely. "I find you interesting Keres, I don't know what it is about you yet, but I'll find out eventually", he said as he inched slightly closer, knowing Domarus was watching. "As for you Domarus, I'll make sure to get in touch with you when I'm ready, if it's going to be the three of us, I suppose I should get to know everyone a little bit better I suppose." He stood up straight again, with his hands in his pocket, he gave a smirk to the both of them.

  15. Able listened to what Domarus had to say, meanwhile he also noticed Keres kept glancing over at him oddly enough. After being told to just think about it for a moment, he stood there, looking up at the sky, not sure what to think at this point. Of course he wants to get stronger and make it big to reach the frontlines soon enough, however, is Domarus the person he should trust so quickly? The guy sent a woman to investigate him while following them. Something didn't sit right with Able, and he wasn't sure exactly what it was, but he had a feeling Domarus had more than just the intention to help lower leveled players, especially since he's acting like a vulture towards players from the first floor. He gave Keres a quick look again and he created eye contact only for a brief moment, before he looked back towards Domarus.

He sighed, as he knew he was most likely making a mistake right now, but he had to know Domarus' intentions before he could go in any detail about why he's helping him. Able had to know, this player was a suspicious as anyone he's ever seen, no way this guy is just looking to help players without a cost. "Tell you what... I'll go on a mission with you, ONE! We'll see how things go from there, but don't expect too much from me, because I'm still onto you." he said reaching out his hand and then sending a friend request with the other. "Also, does this mean Keres is always going to be around or will it be just the two of us?" he needed to know. Although he found Keres intriguing and quite attractive, he wasn't sure if it was smart to keep her around at all times, but perhaps he can get her to talk at some point, especially if what he said was true about her enjoying to mess with people.

  16. "She wasn't trying to seduce you.  She enjoys messing around with other people's emotions to get a reaction out of them.  And don't lie to me about being a first level player, I know one when I see one." Able grinned at the information he was just told. He knew something was up, and just like he had thought, she wasn't here to get with anymore, she was here for a greater cause. Able opened up his menu and brought it to his menu and hovered it in front of Domarus. "If you're going to call someone out on something, at least get your facts straight first." Tired of having to explain himself, he cocked an eyebrow at Domarus, The fact that this player thought he was level one was beginning to become a nuisance, especially since it wasn't even a true statement. In fact, Able simply looked like he was low leveled because he hadn't cared to invest a single point into his stats yet. Right now, he had the health of a higher level, but he had no other stats to show for it right now.

"So why exactly did you send her after me then? It's obvious you've been following us this entire time. Your armor leaves footprints in case you haven't noticed. If you're going to play something off, at least do it right. So explain, why did you follow me so long?" He leaned against a nearby tree and stuffed his hands into his pocket, looking at him with an less than entertained expression. Meanwhile, he kept looking over at Keres who was an interesting character. He wondered why she would be willing to do things like this for him. None of this was making sense, and it was getting to a point that someone did some explaining right now.

    @Domarus

  17. "May I ask what things?  Going back to the town and just sitting there while everyone else gets stronger?  I don't recommend that.  I can help you there." Able looked at him as if he was some wannabe salesperson. Domarus appeared to be offering his aid to help him get strong, but Able had no intentions of taking such an offer like that from a guy who'd send a woman to distract him. He wanted something, more than just a friend to have in his life. "Thanks for the offer, Domarus. However, I think I'm set, it was a pleasure meeting the both of you. Have a good day." Able had just turned around, and began walking again until he heard,  "If you don't have anything important I could help you gain a few levels.  Level one is an extreme pain after all.  And if there's something about this world you don't know I can teach you that too."

Turning around again, this time rolling his eyes with annoyance, he looked at him as if he was dumb. "Well I hate to break the news to you, but I'm not level one. I'm fully capable of climbing by myself though. Also, Keres if you thought you could seduce me so easily, then maybe you shouldn't make it so obvious." This time, he turned again and continued walking. The offer to gain a few levels sounded nice, but he wasn't exactly sure if he was interested in getting the help from Domarus. The character as a whole was shady to him, and his actions spoke louder than words in this point.

Based on the way Domarus had been acting, he knew that he was going to continue pursuing him regardless. He had intrigue in Able, and he had no idea as to why. In fact, Able was slightly considering going along with this whole "I'm a low level act, and I need help" just to see where exactly this was going. Although he found Keres an extremely attractive woman, he knew it was best that he didn't make his interest in her known. The less they knew about him at this point, the better in all honesty.

    @Domarus

  18. "Not sure if you like more than one for company, but if we don't hurry he'll be joining u-" The fact that she caught up to and kept pursuing him already showed how desperate she was, but he had no intent to call her out on that. He turned his face slightly towards her as he noticed the guy from earlier, the one he bumped shoulders with had made his appearance. This is where he began to catch on to what's going on. With one brow raised and the other one lowered, he looked like he was suspicious of the situation. Because of this player's appearance, he was forced to stop his walk, although he wished he didn't.

"You know, sometimes I think you actually want me." Keres stated that, but Able was fully sure that they knew each other in a much different way. Even if he was acting concerned, he seemed to know her quite well.

He remained quiet and watched the two talk annoyed, but not willing to show it until the man reached his hand out.  "I'm Domarus.  Nice to meet you.  Hopefully Keres here hasn't been a bother to you, has she?" He reached out to shake his hand firmly and made eye contact with him, then back to Keres and then once again back to him. "Nice to meet you too, I'm Able. Sorry about earlier by the way and no, she hasn't been bother me one bit. She's just too easy for me, maybe you should keep your woman in check there." He said as he drew his hand back towards his pocket. Able then looked around as he noticed it was starting to become later than he wanted to be out, not that he was scared, but because he had other things to do for the day. "Look, it was great meeting the both of you, but I have other things to attend to. So I'll just leave the two of you be as I can tell you two have some talking to do with each other." He said as he turned around and began walked back towards town. That's when he realized the indents of the grass of where the footsteps were. The armor of the man had left a trace, and it was quite obvious he had been following them for a while.

  19. "Please, I've met most of the players in that town.  They're a bunch of morons.  And besides, I like a guy who's hard to get." He knew that the first part of the statement was true, most people are morons, especially when it comes to getting women. However, it was the last part of the statement that he couldn't really disregard. As she put her arm around him, he gently grabbed it and removed it from his body, and put it down by her side again. He looked at her and the smile was gone from his face again. He wasn't mad, he wasn't happy, he was empty again. "Listen, I'm glad you're having fun, but I'm not the type that's into easy women. I'd rather not have anything happen with you. Plus you said it yourself. You've met most of the players in the town, shows you've been with a lot of them, because the population isn't exactly small." Saying such a bold statement is definitely not easy to say, but it needed to be said. Able then stuffed his pockets again, and continued with his walk along his usual path. He didn't check if Keres was still nearby, nor did he exactly care to either.

"Why does it seem like she was up to something? There was no reason to get so close and personal with me unless she wanted to get something out of me." He thought to himself, remembering the player that he bumped shoulders with earlier. He questioned if he should turn back and apologize to him, but instead, he kept going and said that he'd get to doing that later, when he got back to town. He rolled his head in a circular motion to crack his neck and continued further on. His red hair was styled today, so the wind wouldn't bother him, but it still swayed around eye level. His green eyes looked ahead and his back was straight. The hairs on his neck were tingling, but he didn't exactly know why, perhaps it was just a cold chill, but something didn't sit right with him. He felt like a terrible person for saying what he did to Keres, but she was acting very strange, especially when she was coming out of left field like that.

  20. "Well of course it's not, you've got a hot girl with you. What could be better right? And come on, I just want some fun is all. You looked like you could use a little company. Was I wrong?" He listened to what she said, but he didn't actually turn to look at her, instead he looked forward. "Well for starters, you are beautiful, but I couldn't care less for some 'fun' right now." Able wasn't sure what to think right now, it seemed like she was being nice as if she was trying to get something out of him, or maybe she was honestly just looking for a guy right now, but regardless he didn't care. Company is always nice to have when he goes on walks, as sometimes walking alone can get boring. He sighed, but not because he was annoyed, simply because he was tired. It didn't take him very long to realize that the gap between the two had grown smaller, but he didn't make any sort of notion to create a larger one or to close it, instead he remained walking in a straight line while staying relaxed.

"So what's your name hot stuff?  You've got to have one of those.  My name is Keres." He chuckled when she made a joke about him having to have a name and he gave her a quick look. The girl that was quite a bit shorter than him so he looked down a bit to create a direct connection between their eyes. "Just because you have a name doesn't mean I don't have one of my own. Anyways, my name is Able. Keres is a great name by the way." He reached out his hand to give it a light shake, as he took a moment to just stand still and stretch. "Listen, I don't mean to be rude, but why exactly did you pick me? There's so many other thirsty guys out there that are way better looking than I am." Able gave a slight chuckle and kept a smirk on his face as he showed his teeth very slightly showing, but enough to look like he meant it.

  21. Able kept note of his reaction as he simply apologized, something he respected. It showed he felt sorry for the situation, even though he didn't cause it. After scoffing at him and continuing on, he went on with his way. It wasn't very long before someone had caught up with him, a female to be exact. "Hey there cutie!  Wanna hang out for a bit?" she asked him. Turning his head to the girl, he noticed that she was wearing exposing clothing, but he didn't stare, in fact his eyes flicked up to hers immediately and he stopped for a minute. Putting a slight charismatic smirk on his face, he looked at her, "I'm not really going anywhere interesting, but you can feel free to join me if you'd like." Able continued his walk as his expression changed slightly now to a more, energetic one.

Looking ahead towards the ground, he watched his feet with his peripheral vision to make sure he doesn't trip and look foolish in front of the woman. He had several questions to ask the girl and he wasn't exactly sure, which one to ask first. "Look, if you don't mind me asking, why exactly did you want to hang out with me? You barely know me... and you look kind of young in my opinion. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just you sort of just came out of nowhere." His right hand shuffled up to the back of his head as he scratched a spot that was itchy, and then brought it back down to his pocket where he slid his four fingers into, with his thumb sticking on the outside of the pocket.

(OOC: I'm still a bit rusty, so I apologize if the posts are a bit short right now, getting back into the swing of things after an eight month hiatus!)

  22. Able had just finished his meal in the town as his hunger pains had been growing. Leaving a tip on the table, and wiping his face with the napkin that was provided with his utensils, he stood up and pushed in his chair. Before he turned to leave, he waved goodbye to the server with a smile and cheery eyes. As he got through the doors to exit the building and make his way to the center of town, his expression changed entirely. The smile had faded and the eyes had grown dull immediately. He threw out a yawn as he stretched his arms up and made his way to find a local area where he could meet new people. As he walked by the cobble path that led to the outside, he saw a tall man with dark armor. He didn't exactly care for the fact he was there, but he definitely didn't fit in with all of the other players. Curious as to what this character was doing standing there, he turned his way to the exit of town without a weapon or anything, knowing he could handle himself if it came down to himself.

With his hands in his pockets of his black pants, and his dress shirt hanging loose with the top button being open, he made sure to remain expressionless. As he walked by the character, he had bumped shoulders and he simply turned his head his way and scoffed while rolling his eyes. This wasn't his way to piss him off, but more so a way to see what kind of reaction he gives. He knew that people reacted differently and based on the way this player did, he could start figuring him out. Plus, talking was something he did way too much and needed something to do. Potentially risking his life, walking around without any gear, not even a weapon was stupid, but he didn't really care either, he had no real fear of the environment, or the players really. If death was to come, then so let it be.

    Background Story:

Born November 5th, Tobias was born into a family of four. He had his loving and caring father, who was currently employed as a construction worker, and his mother whom was an accountant at a local bank. His sister, which was four years older than he was. Born in Syracuse, New York, he had grown used to the city life. His family had insisted that he was homeschooled compared to his sister. Around the time of his twelfth birthday, he had grown bored of this schooling and wanted to go to a public school. His mother, Emily, was very hesitant on letting him go, but his father, Thomas, was always supporting whatever decision his children made.

Starting to go to public school was a rough transition at first. From having to wake up early in the morning, to going to different rooms for different classes was a massive change compared to the norm. Luckily, he went to the same school as his sister, Claire, so she was able to help him find his way around the halls until finally he remembered them and could go on his own. After only several weeks, he had already met so many people. His class was designed to have over 1,000 graduating class mates with him by the time he finishes high school.

He was finally introduced to video games by one of his friends that he met around the age of 13. Most of the time, Tobias had spent a majority of his time studying or playing sports such as soccer, tennis, and basketball. The video games they played were very simplistic and he had fallen in love with gaming. One day, he returned home and begged his mother to get a console for his birthday. By the time he turned fourteen, he had his first console and bought his own games and controllers. His parents weren’t very strict either so he would up all through the night playing them, but due to the fact that he had enough self-control to still keep up with his studies, he was always able to play more because he was one step ahead of all of his classes at all times just so he didn’t start to slack.

Turning over 3 years later, he was now 17 and graduation was getting closer and closer. He had a girlfriend which he has been with for the past year and a half now. She was a gamer as well and it only made them that much closer as they would play games together. However, when he was about halfway through his Junior year, she was forced to move away as her family was part of the military and had to move to a different state. Unable to keep their relationship strong over the distance, they ended up calling it off and moving on with their lives.

When senior year rolled around, Tobias was ready. He had grown sick of school, and he had slept with a large number of women in his class. Many women had said that he was so good in bed and that he’s just such a kind and caring person. But to Tobias, he got bored that he had no girl that would turn him down anymore. After graduation, which is when his 19th birthday was approaching, Tobias heard of the release of the VRMMORPG Sword Art Online and was attempting with all of his power to get into the Beta testing for it, but to his misfortune he was not accepted. Waiting anxiously for the game’s release he finished his last bit of school, got a job and bought all of his belongings that he would need as he moved on to college.

When the game arrived, Tobias was ready to play. He had set aside all of his duties for the day and was just wanting to get into the game. Putting on the NervGear, he was in the game after the moment he said, “Link Start!” For the first while of the game, Tobias loved his adventure, but that’s when the news hit him… He wasn’t getting out of this game until the game was over. Was this the moment he would lose his sanity? Was this the dream world for him? He wasn’t sure of anything until the adventure he had before him took off. This is the story of Tobias Russel Akneal.

    Virtues:

Flirt - What's wrong with a guy that hits on anything that moves? Well... nothing right? Able is that person that when he sees a person he set his sights on, that he wants to try to go for them. Even though it's not necessarily meant to get laid, he just likes the fact that he can use his charm and his wits to get a girl he wants. Being in a long term tied down relationship is definitely possible, but will definitely take him practice to change his ways.

Confident - Breaking his spirit? That's a joke, because you can't break Able's. Always being able to say he feels good about himself has its own perks and benefits, and gives him a drive to fight and move on with his life. This level of confidence comes with the cost of being arrogant however. In situations when most people would break down or get angry, he would remain composed and always walking away with his head held high.

Warrior's Spirit - Able has a will to fight at all times. He has never said no to standing up to what he believes in and that he will do it at any cost. If a person threatens him with a blade, he won't turn it down, instead he draws his own and accepts defeat like a true soldier. Being a fighter at heart gives him a motif to move on every day to make it out of the game. His dream lives to be in the front lines at the end of the game and possibly have a person by his side that he can look up to.

Brave - Backing down isn't an option, or at least not for Able it isn't. Having no fear with being the first to go in, or the person to say what needs to be said makes him a strong leader and will help him pursue his goals to be in the front lines, as he won't be afraid of dying in combat with that Warrior's Spirit he has built within him. Although sometimes bravery is stupid, it hasn't landed him in any bad situations yet. Well, other than being stuck inside of Sword Art Online.

    Flaws:

Arrogant - Some people simply have way too much hot air in their head, and Able just happens to be one of those people. Don't start flattering this guy, it goes straight to his thick skull and he will hold it over their head that he's superior to them. This type of behavior from him is what people dislike the most about him, and makes him a very difficult friend to have on your side. In a fight, he believes that he's always winning, and when he's losing, he believes that the other person isn't worthy of his time.

Stubborn - The saying that someone is as stubborn as a mule applies to Able just as much as it does to anyone else. The only thing that sets him apart is that almost every time he sets his mind on something, he won't change it, no matter how hard you try to convince him. Although it is possible to change his mind, the effort it takes to even get to that point is simply not worth it. Having this mindset has only done him harm as not even he, himself, can talk his way out of a decision he's made sometimes.

Pessimistic - There isn't anything good to Able. Everything has to be a terrible situation and he never sets any expectations very high for anything as he believes they only lead to disappointment and sadness. Having such an attitude makes it hard to be positive around him, because he has a bad tendency to make others feel bad about their own situations. Always looking at the bad side of things, gives him his drive though to continue and not to dwell on things of his past.

Merciless - It doesn't matter where you are, who you are, and what you have to do with him, because when it comes time for a fight, or a heated argument there's no holding this guy back. Willing to use any dirty trick in the book to gain leverage in a given situation, has always given him the aura that he's nothing but an ass. Being like this allows him to get what he wants and he will promise to NEVER hold back in a fight, especially when it comes to his pride being involved. It's best that people don't pick the wrong situation with him or get on his bad side, otherwise they may be in a world of trouble afterwards.
