  1.                     The time was coming, sooner than expected, in fact. He knew Krysta would be coming, though she might arrive a minute after Vigilon, for she had something she was in the middle of dealing with. Things were starting to pick up, though Vigilon had yet to find out how or why. All that mattered, is that he needed to take a look at the situation. At the rate things were going, he might find himself doing one of the most dangerous things in this game...but hopefully he'd know what he was doing at that point.

What he wasn't expecting, however, was for the place the meeting would be held in, to be a treasure in itself. Whose place was this? How were they able to afford it? If anything, it would be wise to act carefully, as a physical slip up would probably lead to a hefty fine. "Man...this place is a real sight..." He thought as he took in the view as he slowly made his way to the area of the room where the meeting would be taking place. At a glance, he only recognized three faces. Night, Jomei, and...Freyd.

He probably didn't have much time to talk before the meeting started, so he could only hope this would go well. He listened intently, though he was a terrible note taker, so he'd have to remember listening to all this. The current theory was that there was an elemental system at play here, based on an Eastern Five-Element system. Vigilon, of course, would only see little more than a web full of lines. While it could have easily been a circle based element counter in terms of what is good or bad against what, Vigilon was already trying to see in his head if he could use Pokemon logic to figure out the weaknesses. Didn't necessarily offer very much, so of course he'd also have to consider the current suggestion that was the elemental circle that even had the arrows there. Maybe figuring out the advantages was a mid-fight puzzle? Hopefully they'd be able to figure it out before the fight even begins...

A woman with red hair would give her thoughts on the scenario, and mention that she could provide static. Vigilon took a deep breath. This would be his first time speaking in a meeting that planned out a floor boss raid. "Time to shine, bud. Don't screw this up..." He thought. "I have a weapon I'm almost done restoring. When it's finished, which will be soon, the weapon will have Fallen, Blight, and Burn. If we are considering the Tai Chi concept as well as the Elemental advantage theory, I should be able to get some fair offensive coverage with it. The downside is that it's the only unique weapon I have, so I don't think I'll be swapping anytime soon." He explained to the gathered players, hoping they'll understand what he wanted to communicate. "However, I can't help but shake the feeling that, although I'm probably wrong and the boss is likely to be resistant, if not immune to it, what if bleed was an applicable ailment in a case like this? There is iron within blood, though I'm honestly not sure where such a not-so-special ailment such as bleeding out a mass of liquid and cells containing lots of iron and water, would fit in a scenario like this." He added. "Stop it, you're embarrassing yourself!" He thought, for he was not confident in this attempt to add more options in the slightest. "And what of Rending?" He continued, though he was likely to be wrong here too. "Having a Rending Familiar myself, I've come to learn that different familiars might apply Rend in different ways, depending on the creature. Because of this, I actually don't know if Rend will work at all, though the Cardinal is unlikely to apply anything better than the originally intended damage for the Rend ailment, due to the wide range of methods that familiars can use to inflict it." He noted. "Stop trying to act like you're thinking what nobody else has considered! Are you really lacking the stuff that's actually important??" He thought to himself yet again, as he attempted to hide his insecurity under his expression, not that he knew it was leaking through to a slight degree. "What I'm trying to say is, there might be more options than meets the eye that aren't easy to spot, which could be helpful to any here who might be uniquely impaired." He stated, finishing his barely baked thought. "Though, admittedly, with the concept of blood, Vampiric might make more sense against it if it were a lifesteal thing..." He muttered, unintentionally thinking out loud, not to mention not knowing how the Vampiric enhancements actually worked due to not having used any or knowing that a defensive variant of vampiric existed. Resting his left elbow on his leg, his left hand held up his forehead when he lowered his head, nearly sighing in self-frustration over the fact that he knew he could have done or said something better, yet didn't.

Vigilon was clever in some aspects, but not all of them. There had to be something he could get right in this scenario... "There's gotta be something we're missing...why haven't I thought of anything viable yet?" He thought to himself.

  2.                  Vigilon thought carefully about what he'd said after taking Dazia's outburst into thought. He could have easily passed it off as just Dazia being angry on a regular basis, and he probably did, but when he really put the words to thought, he realized some key details. He might not have seen what she did, but he was there, too. "That was...that was the fallen event on floor thirteen, wasn't it? I wasn't there in time to see the frontliners' battle, since I was busy helping the non-frontliners that showed up fight a demon-possessed priest. Could you explain more of what happened if you really saw it?" He asked. If anything, this information could be helpful, even if it's just a memory of what things used to be on the front lines.

Vigilon began to reconsider his words as Night spoke. From what he could guess, the satirical sarcasm that Dazia displayed may have gone completely over Night's head, though the initial point Dazia got across was clear: She didn't want to fight for the frontlines she knew of. Vigilon nodded his head. "I can see why you'd want nothing to do with them. From the perspective you shared, they'd probably get you near death if not killed. I saw them after my end of the double raid ended, and I didn't see Night among them, maybe the frontliners roster has become more reasonable? I'm not pushing you to join them, I'm just saying things might have changed since that day, not that I've been in touch with the frontlines either so of course I can't guarantee." Taking a deep breath, he would gather his thoughts before continuing. "I'm in agreement with Night on this one, this isn't a matter we should rush each other with." His expression would be calm, yet serious. "We certainly wouldn't want to get ourselves wiped or chased off for being reckless, after all."
His last two cents in this matter were more his personal thoughts on the matter. The enemies of the frontliners never messed around, thus selfishness, recklessness, or arrogance on anyone's end could potentially be a fatal mistake that could turn a battle in the enemy's favor. Every decision counted.

Dazia vanished from sight, probably to finish the first enemies quickly with an attack from stealth. Night would gesture to the enemies, for the players were just outside their aggro range...all Vigilon needed to do was catch their attention with a first strike, and the other two players would do the rest.

Vigilon roared out as he charged towards his enemies, then unleashed an area of effect sword art. The first Infernal Hellhound would jump back, barely escaping Vigilon's attack. The other two, however, were not so lucky. Dark power erupted from Kyrkuran, blasting the second hellhound into nothing in a burst of fallen energy, and afflicting the third with blight.

          Yeah, this wouldn't take long.

  3.          Night sent a friend request to Vigilon as they were finishing up on the terms of the agreement, to which he accepted.

Night would state an unexpected set of terms for Dazia when she attempted to get her hands on Adjudicator. The floor boss raid...
Vigilon looked to Dazia. He knew that the frontlines were gonna need all the help they could get, but was Dazia really willing to risk her life for a sword? He knew enough to guess that she wouldn't throw herself blindly into the fray, and was likely to bail if things got too dangerous for her. He'd seen her fight in raids before, but not a single one was a floor boss. Vigilon himself had considered the thought of helping out at the frontlines from time to time, but he wasn't feeling super confident back then. Now, he knew that he might stand a decent chance if there were enough people. This would be more difficult of a request for Dazia than for Vigilon.

"...I mean, it wouldn't hurt to give it some thought." Vigilon pointed out. "You've fought in raids before, did well in plenty of them, only the first one you were in gave you any trouble." He recalled. "And, well, we're both at the maximum tier and level, paragons excluded, I know I've got twenty five paragon levels to my name, I'm sure you've got a fair number yourself." He continued. "Many hands make light work, and there is strength in numbers. I'm sure you'll be fine, and if things start to go bad, well, you've always got a teleport crystal, right?" With a sigh, he would continue. "This Cerberus is a bit of a toughie in terms of offense, from what I've heard. Maybe you can consider this a test of survival, help you mull over whether you can last or not. Should help with the decision, at least." He finished, placing his hand on her shoulder. Hopefully this didn't trigger her over height or anything, he just wanted to encourage and reassure her.

Regardless of what Dazia's decision might be, it was time to move on and continue the quest. He would accept the party request sent to him, and the journey would begin. There wasn't much room for words along the trip, aside from the strategy that Night suggested. Vigilon nodded in understanding. It wouldn't be long before the trio would arrive at the cave's entrance.

  4.                   The other player would ask what Vigilon's sword needed. "Based on what's been grayed out as well as crossed out on the weapon's stats, I'd say the missing enhancement is Burn, which I've heard is supplied by that drop the Cerberus we're after has." He answered.
Dazia asked Vigilon if he was able to convince Krysta to give up the chase.
He ended up scratching the back of his head nervously. "Weeeeelllll..."

    Spoiler

                    [Memory...]
    "Can we talk? It's...about Dazia."

"How so? have you found her latest whereabouts?"
"Um...Floor Thirteen."(Lie) "Do you think, maybe we could tal-"
"Then we're off to Floor Thirteen, we haven't a moment to lose!"

    "O-ok!"

"Let's just say my last attempt didn't go as well as I'd hoped, she's still too heated to lower her guard about the subject..." He admitted sheepishly.

Every mood changed when Vigilon pulled out the weapon he'd found. Dazia asked where he found it, then asked the other player, referring to her as Night, if that was her weapon. Based on Night's reaction, it seemed that it was indeed the case. Before he could speak another word, however, Night pulled a weapon out of her inventory and offered a trade, stating the stats and terms of the weapon she was offering in exchange for Oathkeeper's return. Vigilon smiled. "I will gladly accept the trade, and return this blade to its rightful owner." He stated, handing the weapon over to Night. "So let me just make sure I've gotten this straight, you're saying you'll give me Adjudicator after dealing with this fight you have after tomorrow? Did I get that right?" He asked, making sure he understood how this trade would go, even though he'd already held to his end of the bargain by returning Oathkeeper as soon as the trade offer was made.

The moment the terms were cleared up, there came some abruptly spoken words from Dazia.

       "I want it."
If it weren't for the trace of confusion in Vigilon's expression when he turned to look at Dazia, it would have been a blank stare. "...Come again?"
"You heard me." Dazia began. "Adjudicator. I want it. You can already handle yourself well with the weapon you're working on restoring, right? You'd have less use for Adjudicator at that point, it'll just be sitting there in your inventory."
Vigilon let out a sigh, then seemed to be in thought for a moment. "If Night's fine with it, I suppose we can work something out, but as she explained when mentioning its enhancements, it's a fully unique weapon. That's gonna cost you." He decided. "If you don't have an item of close enough value, we can easily negotiate col, I think about twenty-two to twenty-five grand would be fine, what do you think?" He offered, and from his perspective, this amount of col could be grinded easily at Dazia's level. Dazia would then make a preposterous counter offer of six grand. "Ok fine, how about just solid twenty grand, then?" Vigilon shot back. Another counter offer, this time it was nine thousand. "For a high tier unique item like this, both the power and value would, at least at this point in time, be considered as over nine thousand, like maybe eighteen thousand." He remarked. Yet another counter offer, this time it was ten thousand. "Erm, close but not quite, I'd say sixteen thousand might do." He considered.

"Thirteen thousand, and that's my final offer." Came Dazia's response.
Vigilon took a few seconds to consider it. With a mild sigh, he made his decision.
"Fine by me, but since it's Night's item, I think she should have the final say on it." He looked over to Night. "You cool with this?" He asked. Since Night was Adjudicator's current owner and the one who offered to trade, she should have a say in this.

Once Dazia had her consumable fill, Vigilon would be offered the tray of consumables to take his pick of what was left.
...If only they tasted better, though.
"....You got this from that wandering camper, didn't you?" He asked. The tasteless and near-tasteless foods were familiar enough to make a guess on. Taste wasn't exactly the best, but it got the job done when there was no one else supplying buffs in the area. When he got the chance to down the potion, however, that was a different experience. With a chuckle, he'd remark, "Well, at least this makes it all go down smoother."

Once he was finished, he looked to the two other players. "Are there any preparations left to take care of, other than forming a party?" He asked, hoping he'd made sure the three players were finished before setting out.

    -Liquor of Light(DMG III)

  5.                Vigilon nodded his head understandably. "I see...yeah, that does sound rough." He noted, trying to sympathize with her...not that he knew whether or not it would be effective, but it was worth a shot, he'd just have to do so without patting her head, for she seemed to hate headpats. Maybe she prefers to be intimidating? It would make sense, and Dazia's height wasn't doing her any favors, not that she had any control over that.

When Dazia made her explanation to the other player that showed up, Vigilon was able to get a better understanding of Dazia's situation. "Well...that sure puts a monkey in your wrench." He remarked. Dazia looked back to him, and noted that the stronger Cerberus might have a better drop rate for one of the three keys she was looking for. "I see..." Before Vigilon could continue, Dazia spotted something that pulled aggro on her, so to speak. A wanted poster that was against her. Vigilon only had a few seconds to study the paper before Dazia's attack destroyed it, leaving marks of damage on where it was posted, to boot. If there was one thing Vigilon knew, it was that these posters were not Krysta's idea, for she would spread it through word of mouth when Dazia was mentioned or brought up. Maybe those other names were other adversaries of Dazia who had sided with Krysta? Who knows.

Dazia decided that she was up for fighting Cerberus if either of the other two were. "Sounds good, I need a drop from it too, so I guess we now have a common enemy." He noted. The other player would proceed to also offer to help fight Cerberus, and would proceed to pull out consumables from her inventory. This other player would then look Vigilon up and down before asking his name and equipment.

"I'm Vigilon." He began. "I'd say my equipment's decent enough to get the job done for most enemies, though I would agree that an upgraded Cerberus wouldn't be 'most enemies'. My current sword should do in terms of damage, but depending on what this thing can do, having some consumables wouldn't hurt, especially defensively." He explained. He would then draw Kyrkuran from its sheath, looking over the weapon once again. It was full of mystery, this thing. "I'm actually after the drop because something happened to this weapon, it's less than it used to be, apparently. A fusion with a weapon containing the right enhancement should do the trick, but since I lack any such weapons at the moment, I gotta get an item that guarantees the enhancement on a single weapon." He added. The hilt's center would open to reveal a crystalline eye that had a watchful gaze on Vigilon.
He then sheathed the weapon, and pulled a different one out of his inventory.
"I don't know how you both are on weapons, but I can offer this, if you need anything strong." He offered.

  6.               Vigilon couldn't tell what his luck was. Was this gonna be good, or bad? He'd had a few escapades with Dazia, some willingly, some conveniently over a common goal or point of interest. They never went entirely as planned, of course, so he wouldn't be surprised if she never wanted to come to him for something.

And yet, for some reason, here she was, walking up to Vigilon, asking him questions if he knew something of interest in regards to this floor that she didn't already know. Vigilon would shrug. "Well, unless this floor's field boss, or the stronger Cerberus I'm actually considering hunting down, is something you don't already know, then uh, nope, nothing."  He answered. "How's your lead going, by the way? Ever since you found those hard to notice, player made etchings in the cavern walls, I haven't seen you around for a long while." He added.

Another player would approach, and ask Dazia about some cove. If this was connected to her search, it would make sense. Dazia didn't seem like one for beaches anyway, she would only ever show up to social events hoping to find either someone like herself, or a possible ally...but who could possibly be anything but the latter in this case? Vigilon would wait for this next interaction to finish, for if there was enough common interest, that would already be three for hunting down Cerberus, which might be enough if this unfamiliar player was tier four like Vigilon and Dazia were. All he needed now was an incentive to make a request.

  7.             Vigilon had been needing to get to this. He'd slain a weaker Cerberus before, but would he be able to manage it this time? It was around his tier, so if there's anything he knew, this thing couldn't possibly be a pushover of any kind, and it would likely be difficult, if not impossible, to take down on his own. He needed that material it dropped, so he could use it to restore his weapon to what it apparently once was. Something had sealed it's Burn enhancement away, and it could only be restored by fusing it with a weapon containing burn. Just any straight sword with burn on it would do, but to guarantee it instead of grinding for months, he was gonna need that material...

Why is it that some things require more than expected to get the full potential out of? There had to be a reason. But for now, he had a dangerous monster to slay, but he didn't know if he could do it alone. Standing in the settlement known as Knorlit Village, he looked to his left, then to his right.

There had to be a player here somewhere, hopefully one that was strong enough to help him out.

  10. Please read before entering/reading thread, thank you.

    Spoiler

In this Open Party Thread, players who enter it will have their characters genderbent(in this thread only, so don't worry about other threads!), courtesy of the Cardinal, so players willing to post in this thread are highly encouraged to find a temporary FC to use in the thread that is opposite of their gender. Other than that, it's simply an open party thread, meaning players may move about the floor as usual and even do things outside the safe zone such as gathering or combat if they want to. Hope you have fun reading/posting in this thread, and of course, Happy April Fools!

Vigilon woke up, but something felt different. "Hrmm...did I sleep wrong...? Did I...sleep in my equipment again?"

Vigilon would walk then over to the makeshift mirror on the wall of his living space, to see if he'd indeed accidentally slept in his gear again. Unfortunately for him, this was not the case. Vigilon's eyes widened as what was seen in the mirror was...different. Was his eyesight betraying him? He then moved his hands towards the feeling that was off, what seemed to be extra mass, and- wait, something was there, and it wasn't gear or equipment.

Vigilon's eyes widened even further as there was a silent gasp of shock. Sight wasn't playing a trick on Vigilon, what was being seen was actually there, in place of what would normally be seen in this mirror. "Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"

(Vigilon's Temporary FC for the thread)

    Spoiler

    GBV-1.png

The feminine form that stood in his place within the mirror, it was him. His appearance had changed, somehow, his voice had also changed. Was this a dream, or did something go horribly wrong with the system? "Wh-wha-? H-how-? I, I- Wh-when did I get turned into a woman???" Came Vigilon's reaction to this realization, being absolutely dumbfounded. Vigilon then looked at the current appearance in the mirror. Indeed, he appeared to have been completely genderbent. "Oh, I'm so doomed." Vigilon noted, completely panicking on the inside. "I look adorable...I'm gonna be surrounded if I go out there."

Vigilon was gonna need a cloak, but first, a change of clothes more suitable for this new avatar might be required.

    Spoiler

    To: Krysta

    Subject: HELP.

Heeeeey, I need your help, I'm in a bit of a um, predicament. Could you swing by my shop to drop off some clothes? Um...women's clothes? Please don't ask why, I just need your help...of course, if at all possible, I could use a cloak that can hide features of the face and even envelop a whole player, maybe? Just let me know how I should pay you back for this when you can.

    -Vigilon

With the message sent, Vigilon would proceed to go and sit on the bed, breathing in and out in attempt to resolve a self-inflicted state of panic. Investigating the first floor seemed like a possible course of action to find out what was going on, but first, it was time to wait for a change of clothes, and hopefully a concealing cloak, too.

  12.   Dazia claimed that this enemy was merely another apparition that had taken the form of someone she'd killed, in which this kill had saved another's life, particularly Yinangi's. The false Lupix disengaged with Vigilon as to block Dazia's attack, and proceeded to claim that Dazia didn't make the kill to save Yinangi. This agitated Dazia, as though the claim was either false, or had struck a nerve.

Vigilon activated his sword art once Dazia provided an opening, and he managed to deal damage this time, knocking the foe's HP to the yellow. "She could have easily kept attacking because you kept attacking." Vigilon pointed out. "Otherwise, it would have simply been a misjudgment that cost someone's life. Either way, she did what she thought had to be done." The first response Vigilon got was another well placed attack against him. Maybe at this point he should be used to getting hit by a weapon as a response to his words...

  13.       "What, you know this one?" Vigilon asked when the enemy seemed to recognize Dazia, as though she were the original target. Now, it was Vigilon who found himself having to fend off the monster. "Well, if you've faced someone like her before, do you know how you beat her last time?" He asked, hoping there was a weakness in the foe's tactics.

Vigilon attempted an attack of his own, but the enemy dodged this attack as easily as she did Dazia's. "And I thought I had the tough enemies..." He thought. He grimaced as the enemy slashed him pretty badly, but thankfully he didn't have to worry about any ailments. All he could hope for now was that the battle would be turned around in the players' favor, and quickly! Of course, Vigilon did find himself wondering what exactly was it that brought bad blood between Dazia and whoever this enemy had taken the appearance of...

  14.    The fact that Dazia had wandered into this room was good news, at least. Both players checked above the others' head to see if the cursor color was green or yellow. Thankfully, both were green. Dazia spoke of Apparitions, and Vigilon's experience proved her statement. "I know, I fought one of them just recently. It took the appearance of someone who tried to kill me once." Now that both players were reunited, they could explore the citadel again without having to worry...right?

    Turns out they couldn't.

Vigilon heard a sudden noise and turned around to see Dazia getting backstabbed by someone wearing a violet cowl and gray hide-coated set of light armor. Vigilon drew his weapon and would prepare his sword art while Dazia was getting out of harm's way. Once the coast was clear, Vigilon unleashed his sword art and struck the assailant, dealing a fair chunk of damage before getting hit with the enemy's retaliating strike.

  16. Vigilon knew he'd have to get out there again soon. He'd also been hearing some odd rumors lately, and was considering investigating these things. He couldn't just sit in this shop forever...

But first, business. Someone had returned to the shop sooner than expected, apparently requesting a fusion. "I've made sure I know how to use my new fusion forge, you won't be disappointed." Vigilon assured.

Vigilon would receive the components and necessary resources, and bring them over to the fusion forge. He would place the two weapons in their respective two slots, drop the two resources down the chute for the combination process, and pull the lever to bring the two items into the fusion forge. Vigilon kept a close eye on the fusion forge to make sure it worked as intended. Like with the other forge, of course, he'd need to pull out the finished product and make sure it's a functional weapon, before cooling it and bringing it to the grindstone, all of which would be a guaranteed success in this case, due to how fusions worked in the game.

Vigilon looked over the finished product once more, before nodding in satisfaction and bringing it to the customer. "I believe this might be what you were hoping for?"

  17. Vigilon rushed through the winter snow, trying to find where this snowball fight was supposed to be. He was late, he knew he was late, he just didn't know how late he was. Nevertheless, he dashed like all was on the line.

Before long, he found himself running right into the chill of snow projectile combat. The others that were already participating were throwing their snowballs, and now was Vigilon's chance if he wanted to try anything. He was assigned to Team A, but there was only one problem...how would he know who his teammates were, or who his opponents were? Maybe he had to guess, since the fight had already started? No matter, he had to start somewhere, So he stopped right before he was in crossfire range, ducked down in a swift movement, and made himself the first snowball to be used in non-damaging combat in a long time...

And threw it towards Zandra because he figured that she could take the chill of the heat, dressing like that. Other than that, it was a wild guess and Vigilon could only hope he picked the right target.

  20. [Day 39] [12/15/2022]

Vigilon was starting to wonder why there was this noticeable pattern in his recent customers. Most of them were all female. Not that he minded, of course, heck, a fair number of them seemed to be pretty new, asking for new gear. And of course then there was Yona getting herself a new weapon, as well as some weapons for someone else, but that wasn't what Vigilon was focused on. ...Although, it wouldn't hurt if this factor wasn't noticed by anyone who would tease the hell out of him for it.

As another female player would enter the shop, Vigilon had just finished prepping the forge for another day of smithing. Vigilon would make his standard greeting, and the girl would remark how she wasn't built for the cold weather. "Heh, that's fair. If you ever need something additional to wear for cold environments, a Tailor might be able to help you with that. I know one personally, so I can mark where her shop is on your map if you're interested." He offered.

The girl would proceed to remind herself of why she was here, and would ask a question before seeing the answer right beside what she was looking at, to which she seemed to become flustered.

Ah, the innocence of newbies setting out in the field...Adorable at times. Vigilon simply had a warm smile on his face as he waited to do business with her. It felt good helping the newer players become better equipped for what they would be facing, and the fact that the path seemed to be free of aggressive mobs lately, why, that was probably a good sign.

The girl would then set up one custom order for an Axe...and then she would add a set of Light Armor to the order, stating that she did not intend to be a tank. Vigilon nodded in understanding. "Fair enough. I can handle that. Granted, not every user of Heavy Armor is a Tank, but it's definitely the preference of most tanks. I even know a few Damage-centered players who prefer Heavy Armor. To each their own, I'd guess." He noted. The girl would then speak of payment and make sure she'd gotten it right...and she'd also mentioned the reputation that Vigilon had earned as a blacksmith.

Then the girl had one more request. She wanted a trinket, to serve as a memento to someone she missed dearly, someone named Leo, from what Vigilon could guess. "...I understand why you'd want such an item. As a blacksmith, however, I can only provide the base material for it. To make it into the trinket you want, you'll have to turn to an Artisan. I'll provide the necessary base material, free of charge." He said to her both softly and solemnly.

He then walked over to the forge and began crafting. He made each of the two requested items without fail, and brought them over to the counter, as well as that material he'd converted, ready for use by an Artisan. "Here is the gear you've requested. As for the base material I've converted, I know an Artisan you can take it to." He began. Pulling up his map, he would continue. "Her shop is currently on the Eleventh floor, you should be able to find it...here." He then handed the girl a note. "Give this to her along with the base material, and you won't need to pay her a thing." He added, essentially stating that it would be used as a voucher for this situation.

With the transaction complete, Vigilon would wait to make sure the girl was finished doing business with him before he returned to his forge. He made three sets of armor, though there was a bit of a mess to deal with that occurred...regardless, he'd call this a pretty successful day.

  22. [Day 38] [12/7/2022]

    Another Day, another order.

The fact that Vigilon had been getting this much business surely meant that players were starting to get a move on again. Maybe once this excess of orders and crafting was through, he'd take a quest or two and see if he can't figure out what was going on with his new main weapon, Kyrkuran.

But for now, he had a weapon to forge. It took a few attempts, but he managed to make a decent blade or two, along with an item that looked like what was requested. This had to be what the latest customer was wanting.

He would bring the requested item to the counter. "I believe this might be what you were hoping for?" He asked.

Once that was dealt with, he would take two of the uncommons and the one rare he'd forged that day, and place them within his new fusion forge that had been assembled a couple days ago. "Ah, yes...it's still working." He muttered to himself. It was nice to know that this was easier to maintain, didn't require dangerous ingredients for better qualities or durabilities, it just needed the items, and maybe a special ingredient or two depending on the desired result.

  23. Vigilon walked over to the chest and opened it up. Inside it was a decent amount of loot. Maybe someone would have use for this later on, if it turned out to be something Vigilon had no use for. Due to a growing collection of unidentified items, he was gonna need to look for a trustworthy appraiser who could identify it all.

So this heap of stuff had better be well worth the trouble of gathering it all. For the time being, he would hold onto all of the stuff. Now he just needed to figure out what this room here was all about. With everything being white, it might be troublesome to figure out anything at all. What was it all supposed to resemble?

The shapes make out something familiar, but...what was it again? What was this place shaping itself to be similar to? Was it something Vigilon hadn't seen in so long to the point where he'd forgotten about it, even if Cardinal remembered?

  24. Vigilon can't even recall how he stumbled upon it, but there it was, lost, there for the taking by pretty much anyone. He could be content with his current weapon, Kyrkuran, and the "eye" on its hilt would open to look at Vigilon, as if telling him he didn't need it.

Vigilon's concern, however, was that he couldn't just leave this for anyone to take. He didn't know who it belonged to, but if the wrong person was to pick up something like this...

And now the blade was in his inventory. Vigilon would continue to use Kyrkuran, and this blade he'd found...

Well, all that's needed now, is for him to find a worthy individual who can wield it...
