If there was a reason for joining Vigilon and Koharu on this one, it would definitely be the one-sided crush that was clearly not going to change very much...and Dazia would take it upon herself to make remarks as to prolong this sh*t for as long as she possibly could. This wasn't just a simple punishment anymore, and this quest was going to be a pain in the ass...so damn it, she was going to make the journey enjoyable by watching Koharu continue to chase down, pursue, and cling to Vigilon. Even if she looked like a "Third wheel" in this party, she was going to make this last, and she was going to have fun with it. Arnemis began speaking with her two party members, but that wasn't important for the time being. "So, Vigilon, do you think you can accept another lover?" She asked, knowing she was going to fluster him.

To say things were going off the deep end, well...that was still in question, as Dazia had no clue how to answer it.
Vigilon agreed to let Koharu tag along, though he was oblivious to the fact that he was blushing. It was hilariously adorable, in Dazia's opinion. Koharu looked like she was about to say "Kawaii" or something along those lines. "Alex-kun, you can count on me!" She said upon Vigilon's reply.
Auranika wasn't too pleased at Dazia's words. "Your words fall on deaf ears if they don't prove mine." Dazia responded.
Victor Falcon would be finished with laughing at the situation, and would reveal to Koharu that Vigilon was a taken man. The response would be quite shocking. "So what? Is there a reason we can't both have him?"
"Pffffff, what?" Came Dazia's reaction to what Koharu had just said.
Arnemis stood there for a short moment and then interrupted with, "I see that only three have even said anything to help form the parties. Vigilon and Koharu had agreed to go together, and Dazia has refused to go with Auranika. Anything you can say that might help?"
Dazia smirked. "I'll keep an eye on Koharu and Vigilon." She decided. She was going to have some fun with this... "Then it's settled. One party will consist of Vigilon, Koharu and Dazia. The other will have Auranika, Ind0minus, and myself." Arnemis declared.
-
Koharu looked happy to know that her crush, or maybe even Senpai, was doing well, and willing to ask her how she was, too. "I've been doing great, I'm so glad you asked~!" She answered with glee. "Are you taking a quest? I'd love to do it with you, if you'll have me!" Koharu asked, before noticing Vigilon's expression. "Are you blushing?" She asked as she smiled sweetly.
Turns out that April didn't recognize Dazia. Must have been the cowl. Figures, she had many titles for herself, including that classic "Lady April". Who does she think she is? "Bitch it is, then." Came Dazia's response as she took off her cowl. "Long time no see...and clearly you're just as self-centered as ever." She added.
After some conversation initiated, Arnemis decided to make a point to the other five players aside from her. "We need to form parties. If we're all taking the quest, we will need to form two parties of three, or three parties of two." She stated. "So, who do you all want to be party members with?" She asked.
"Definitely not her." Dazia began, gesturing to Auranika.
-
Alright, now Dazia knew the pink haired player's real name, based on how Vigilon addressed her. Ayaka, hm? "Hey Vigilon, her username's Koharu, for your information." Dazia noted. The poor fool's expression was a priceless sight, and he even felt the need to mouth the words "Help me". "No, I don't think I will." She muttered, a smirk on her face. "In fact, I'd like to see where this goes..." This was a fair punishment for letting Krysta get away with another attempt to kill her, she thought. Even Arnemis was suppressing a smile. This whole thing was just too funny.
"I just knew you'd be happy to see me too, Alex~" Koharu mused. "How have you been? You look so handsome since I last saw you!" She asked Vigilon. While Koharu loosened her grip, she didn't necessarily release Vigilon from her embrace.
Dazia was trying so hard to hide her amusement.
-
Dazia didn't know how to answer Vigilon there. Her grimace was somewhat hidden by her cowl, and she once again considered the grim possibilities... "Benjamin...he knows that I might have to kill again, but he hasn't seen the worst of my hate. He got upset when I stopped that redhead from clinging to him, though I'd admit that was my fault...but...it doesn't change the fact that he might not actually know me for who or what I really am. He hasn't even seen The Nevermore...that reminds me, I should probably get to painting from those screenshots..." She thought. Soon an NPC came up to Vigilon. Perfect timing. As the NPC was talking, two players who Vigilon seemed to know walked up. So...that face, the name he was addressed as...was this really Victor Falcon, the prestigious yet pretentious son of Adelram Falcon? To think that an idiot like Vigilon would know him... Then there was that one who Dazia recognized on sight. April Darren...what an egotistical bitch. Was that armor surfaced with gold? Ridiculous.
It wasn't long before two others arrived on the scene as the Quest Giving NPC left. Arnemis seemed to be analyzing the players in sight, aside from Dazia. Koharu, however, seemed to recognize Vigilon...
"Ara ara, Alex-kun! It's so good to see you again~"
Oh...would this be troublesome, or laughable? Dazia watched as Koharu proceeded to glomp Vigilon and hold tightly. Dazia couldn't keep herself from snickering at the sight.

Dazia really didn't like how the sun was relentless on this floor. Made her want to get the skill even more now... She'd been in the freezing cold of the fourth floor for a while now, and this sudden temperature flip wasn't doing her any favors. She was also tired of all that she went through prior to this. First there was the failed search, then there was the need to be escorted through the floor, and then she was hunted...that floor was probably cursed, that had to be the source of its conflict. Whatever the case, it was a new day, and Dazia was going to get a skill that would make nature less of a nuisance to her. When she approached the settlement's gate, she saw someone familiar... She walked up to Vigilon, and was tempted to punch him in the shoulder. "You. We need to talk about your damn girlfriend."

"Dazia." She repeated, once the player got her name wrong. Did this mean he hadn't heard of her? Well, this could be good...until he hears those damn rumors. The player showed Dazia his Katana, and explained it in fair detail.
This player laughed at Dazia's story, primarily because of the wannabe mage, it seemed. "...Astralin is a girl." Dazia corrected. "Though, I wonder... Merlin...Astralin...they both...end with the same three letters." She realized. She then had a short laugh and said, "You know, in that case I actually think it would be hilarious if she had a Morgana to face."
The player then made his suggestion. "Don't get me wrong, Astralin was trying to be peaceful, despite her mistake. I'm pretty sure I would have been able to keep the Essence if Princess hadn't shown up." Dazia responded. "She wants to kill me, after all. Not Astralin, Krysta...the girl I referred to as Princess. Ever since I fought for my life, she's blamed me for the death of her cousin and wanted me dead. Honestly, her cousin was long gone before I even tore apart that senseless husk."
-
The enemy would probably come from the settlement first, so maybe starting with the unguarded safe zone would be the better choice. Thus, she would be continuing on to the Starglades. "So Princess knows a bit on my whereabouts...so what? I'll just go where she's unlikely to find me...if I was to go for the settlement, there's a pretty large chance I'll run into her. The further I am from her, the better." She thought aloud before she got moving again. She knew she needed to return to the main settlement in the end, though. How would she escape this floor, and therefore get herself away from a traceable trail without using up her crystal otherwise? Auren was clearly not being of any help, Ithena was probably busy with Seline, Koharu and Arnemis had other things to attend to, and it was likely that Valna and Yinangi were trying to find a way to capture or restrain the spy who alerted Krysta to Dazia's presence on the floor...As of the current moment, she had no backup in the current vicinity.
-
"I'm sorry, WHAT???"
"You heard me, Violet. They caught that guy again, sending messages, probably to you know who. Well, I've gotta go, and I can't exactly escort you back, either..." Auren explained to Dazia. "Aurellius, don't! If what you mean is that Princess is on her way for an aggressive encounter, then I'm going to need some backup!" Dazia exclaimed. "I made a promise...to your other sister. I know you can handle yourself, you can do it. Good luck, and remember why you got that teleport crystal in your inventory." Auren admitted, before leaving Dazia in the forested tundra. "Damn...why now? Just when I thought this long day was finally over...this happens." Dazia muttered. She was headed back to the Starglades to see why it was such a popular safe zone during the night, but now she'd have to potentially reconsider. She was the same distance away from there and from the Settlement of Snowfrost. She'd have to pick a location and get moving.
Her life might depend on it.

This player seemed to be willing to let her have the Essence. Good. "I'll be making sure you're holding to your word when the battle's over..." She warned, in case he had any funny business planned. The player remarked that he hated walking in the snow at night. Well, Dazia hated having to fight at night, it messed with her vision, so the two were at an agreement...of sorts.
This player would lead the way, and Dazia let that slide for the time being. After all, being the youngest in a family often led to being all the way in the back fairly often...so she would have been willing to tolerate this anyway, as she was used to it...enough. The player then asked for Dazia's name. She hesitated. "I don't see why knowing my name would be so important...unless you're just making conversation...ok, fine, it's Dazia."
The player would also remark about how players rarely lose an item drop after a boss fight, then suggested that she "be more careful with her items next time". Dazia's left hand shook a bit. "Being careful was my intention, but of course, there was that vengeful Princess, and then that blonde wannabe mage let a half-loss duel be the deciding factor of who got to keep the item, because it was 'fair'...honestly, letting me keep what I got from the boss would have been fair." She ranted. "And I had to hold my end of the bargain so Princess would spare my life." She growled. She then took a deep breath, she really didn't need to make her mood more bitter than it already was.
-
The cloaked player looked at her and said he was able. He also asked what it was she needed. How to put this... "I had fought a boss for an item some time ago, but it was taken from me shortly after I won the battle, by a vengeful Princess who's been a thorn in my side for a ridiculous amount of time. Well, now I'm going to fight the Frost Beast again, but I'm going to need a bit of help this time around...and the only condition I have at the moment is, the item, the Essence of Steel, is mine. I already lost it once, even though I was the one who earned it, but I'm not letting another one slip by my fingers." She explained, saying the last part pretty sternly, for she wanted to make that clear. After all, she wasn't in the best mood, and she just wanted to get the essence, and be done with this day.
-
Dazia didn't seem to find many others around the settlement, so that often meant it was time to wait for someone to happen by the gate. She would make her way from where she last looked, over to the settlement's gate, and there she would see...
Never mind, she wouldn't be waiting after all, there was someone there. Hopefully he wasn't one of those players who thought badly of her, she'd had enough crossing blades with other players for about a week. She walked up to the cloaked player, and tugged on the cloak. "F***, I HATE being short..." She thought. "You. I need your help, if you're able." She told the player.
She was either really tired of this day's events, or just mentally strained to the point of being reckless. Whatever the case, she needed the essence, and she was going to get it...and this time she didn't want any fighting on the way there, she'd had more than enough of that. The only fighting she wanted to do now was against the Frost Beast.
-
So much for not getting drawn into anything absurd. Dazia had heard of a player who ran a shop with something unique in stock. There was only one way to know for sure, and she had to find out before it would be gone! It was time to rush through the eleventh floor in search of this place.
About an hour later, Dazia managed to stumble upon the place. She took a look around, to see what was in stock. She soon came across a certain weapon, an axe that, upon examination, had an enhancement she'd never found in a shop before...Fallen. This axe...it was uncommon in terms of quality, but she had heard of the Essence of Steel, and what it could do...yes, this had use...and she would make use of this strategic opportunity before anyone else got any ideas.
She took the weapon and placed it upon the counter, followed by a sack of col. "I'm buying this."

Dazia had already been through more than enough today, but since the weather cleared up enough since her search had failed, she decided to handle a painfully obvious and present issue while she was still on this floor...the fact that an Essence of Steel had been taken from her, due to that blonde, Astralin, for taking a neutral siding that would prove to be a thorn in her side, though it could have been worse. Well, now she needed one again, and it was time to make her way there. This day didn't seem to be over just yet, there was still daylight. "Princess may have stolen it from me, with that wannabe mage's approval...but I'll get what I deserve, even if it means fighting for it more than once!"
She knew where the destination was, but knowing how many fights she'd already gotten into on this day alone, she might as well look around the settlement for potential backup since her allies and acquaintances were busy for the time being.

"What the hell are you doing here??" Dazia asked. "Simple. First VRMMORPG ever? Chance to be a renowned individual? Sign me up! Sure, we're all stuck here due to a big surprise but hey, we're all here, aren't we, Violet?" Auren responded. "You know this man, Dazia?" Koharu asked. "Of course I do...he's my brother." Dazia answered. The three players looked to Dazia, then to Auren, then to Dazia again. "Wait...you're siblings...? Your um, heights seem to differ greatly." Ithena questioned. Dazia looked over to her, unamused. "Can you not?" She asked.
Auren chuckled. "Yeah, she doesn't like admitting to her height. Anyway...Violet...I've heard plenty about you, some good, some bad...some say you're like a raven in the night, Mom would be proud...of course, there's also been some...unsavory rumors..." Despite the seriousness of this, he still had a smirk on his face. "You released...didn't you?"
Dazia was silent.
"I'll take that expression of yours as a yes. Well then, Violet...or should I say, Dazia...you've earned yourself quite the reputation, comes along with another name at times. Just thought you might want to know, since Hiraani told me you were Dazia... You've made a name for yourself, Dazia, players have began to speak of you under another name...Congratulations, sis, Aincrad has decided that from that moment forward, you are...Dazia, Raven of Wrath." Auren revealed.
"Raven of Wrath...it's intimidating...to be honest...I like it." Dazia muttered.
Well, there was no going back from here...what's done is done.

"Looks like I won this one. Don't worry though, you and Dazia were great opponents! I can't wait to see how well we've grown by the next battles." Koharu remarked. She then looked to the side and saw Dazia standing there. "Oh, hi Dazia! How was the two players' reunion?" She asked. "It was...nothing like I expected." Dazia admitted. "Seline seemed to act and speak as if Ithena was her, erm, child...I honestly don't know how to respond to that, they both look like adults to me."
Dazia soon received a message from Valna, something about having to head over to the Tavern, and quickly.
Turns out, Koharu and Arnemis were going to return to the tavern anyway, so the three players went together. Ithena was heading over to them, and Dazia had to ask, "Quick question, why did she call you her child? You don't really look that young to me, so I'm just trying to understand what's going on."
Ithena chuckled. "Seline is more than just the leader of our former guild. She is also the eldest of us, and has quite the motherly personality. She'd essentially, *ahem* 'adopted' us into her guild. We are like her children, in a way, as a result...it's kind of complicated." She explained.
The players would reach the tavern, where a cloaked player was standing in front of. "So, Dazia, right? I've heard of you, and what you look like...I go by Auren, but I'm sure you know me by another name..."
This mystery player would take off the cloak that had obscured the rest of his gear and appearance, and Dazia would recognize him. "Aurellius??"
Auren:

"You're pretty strong, I'll give you that. How do you think you'll fare against this??" Koharu remarked before implementing another strategy. She used her speed to confound her opponent, and she managed to deal a critical hit from behind. Arnemis retaliated with an attack that carried the dangerous fallen energy, and Koharu would take a considerable amount of damage. Both players were close to the yellow now, so it was time to see who the victor was. Dazia watched this not only to see who would come out on top, but to analyze their strategies and plan a way to turn things around in the end. She may have lost to both of the players when she battled them, but in what could easily become a three way rivalry, she would go for the gold position...
Dazia watched as the two dueling players attacked each other once more. Koharu was faster than her opponent, and in this clash of blades, it was Koharu who came out on top.
-
Well, this scene was surprisingly easy to find.
Dazia walked over to the two players as they drew their weapons, and she would watch it all unfold. Once their duel started, Koharu attacked with San Ge, giving quite the impression on her opponent. Arnemis followed with Explode Catapult, and would return the favor. Who would win? A dark, axe wielding warrior(despite her size), or a pink chick with a katana? Only one way to find out.
Koharu would begin doing what she could to deflect Arnemis's heavier blade, though her dexterous opponent proved to be well knowledgeable as to how she would do the same against her attacks. Koharu's next swift attack would prove difficult to avoid, however. Both players seemed to have fair amounts of intelligence, from what Dazia could tell...but Arnemis seemed to be more strong and dexterous than wise, and Koharu seemed to be more spunky and swift than clever. Dazia might not have had this power and courage, but she would learn them one day...
-
"That must have been tough, knowing that this was all just some silly coincidence..." Yinangi remarked. "To make matters worse, I got into a fight at the summit...a pretty bad one, too." Dazia admitted. "But..we didn't see anyone at the summit...was it a monster?" Valna asked.
The only response Dazia gave was a grim expression paired with silence. The players read each others' expressions and understood one another. They all knew what happened now... Dazia slowly made her way to the door, and left the Tavern.
She walked through the snow as she wondered who among Dazia's new rivals would come out on top. But first, she needed to find them. She walked around the edge until she spotted two players about to fight...it was Koharu and Arnemis, from the looks of it. One with a pink and white outfit, pink hair, the other player having darker-looking apparel, with white hair that had streaks of pink? Yeah, that was probably Arnemis.
-
Dazia decided to leave the two players so that they might have some time, chances were, they had a lot of things to catch up on.
Dazia returned to the table where she had spotted Valna and Yinangi earlier that day. It would seem that the two had returned to this table. "So, the others left?" Dazia guessed. "They both explained their experiences fighting you, and watching you fight other things. They're about to duke it out to see which of them is the better rival, if you're interested in watching that unfold from the safe zone's edge." Valna answered. "...Am I to assume that you came up empty?" Dazia asked. The two players' faces fell on the table as they groaned in exhaustion. "Yes..." Yinangi said, with a tone that very clearly showed how much she was fed up with the recurring result. "Did you find anything on the summit?" Valna asked. Dazia's head drooped as she exhaled. "No..." She groaned.
-
Dazia got back up, and was ready for the rest of this day...or so she hoped. "Right...well, I know where Seline was last, let's see if we can get you reunited with her, Ithena."
The players would head over to The Frozen Owl's Perch, and Dazia would bring Ithena over to the room where she had spoken with Seline. The feathers were still on the door, so there was a good chance Seline was still there. Dazia knocked on the door, the same wind chime tune was played. Dazia opened the door, and Ithena would walk over to Seline. "Birds of all feathers flock back to the nest." Seline would get up and hug Ithena. "Ithena, my sweet child, you've returned..."
Um...ok, this was unusual. Seline was a young woman, right? ...Wasn't she too young to have a child Ithena's age? Then again, Dazia was only making a guess on the two players' ages.
-
Dazia woke up, and saw that she was in the Town of Snowfrost. The five players who she'd split up from to investigate better were surrounding her, as if checking to see if she was fine. "Hey, sis, you're awake!" Valna acknowledged. "What...what happened...?" Dazia asked. "You were kind of blown by the blizzard and slipped down the mountain, took a bit of damage when you got knocked out. Did something happen?" Yinangi explained and asked. "...so there was nothing after all, was there? Well, at least there were two important matters handled, done and done..." Dazia said.
She started to get up, though she paused when she sat up, and then Koharu continued the explanation. "We carried you back to the safe zone together. Two of us would carry you, and Arnemis would work with the other two to defend against any threats. Shifts were taken to lighten the load and offer a change of pace during the trip back here."
-
It was done. Now to investigate this Peak before the storm really hits. Dazia looked around the summit, looking for anything unusual, or even something of value. After some time, it would seem that there wasn't anything around. There may have once been a powerful enemy here, but it was either a one time thing, or it took a long while to respawn. The winds picked up and the snow clouded Dazia's vision. The Storm had let loose in full now. Dazia struggled to stand, and then she slipped and slid down the summit, down the mountain for what seemed like five minutes. Soon, her sliding was stopped by a stone jutting out of the snow slope, for her head had hit it. She saw some of the other players heading towards her just before she was rendered unconscious. What a day this had been, all to find nothing but coincidence all around, in the end...at least she'd gotten rid of an enemy, and rescued a player who was probably innocent.

Dazia's burning hatred didn't cease. "You and the people of this world, and the real world, were all the ones who made the choices that led to mine. Your words mean nothing at this point." She responded. "Go ahead, kill me...you'll only make your situation worse if you don't stop..." Derenze said. "Oh? But you would probably keep fighting me, or get backup from your allies, if you were to live...sorry, but you've already made your choice, the choice that forced my hand...goodbye..." Dazia responded. With that, She would attack once more, and Derenze's HP would drop to zero. "It would seem that we both made poor choices today...I'll see you in Hell, then..." Derenze's Avatar then shattered. it was over.
Dazia took a deep breath. "What a nuisance...at least he accepted the consequence of his actions." She thought aloud as she started to slowly calm down from the rage she unleashed.

Dazia hadn't encountered any kind of resistance yet, but that was a good thing. She continued on to the Starglades, and her intention was to spend some of this evening in this unguarded safe zone, then take the long way back, as her enemy might be taking the quickest way here. Dazia knew that Krysta had her sources every now and then. They didn't always prove dangerous in terms of how useful they were, but it was better safe than sorry, so Dazia would be on the assumption that her enemies would soon know her location. She now had a plan. To stick around the Starglades for a bit, then she would take the long way back to the settlement as to avoid running into Princess or her allies...
"This evening would have been much more peaceful if Princess didn't come to ruin it...when this is over, I'm gonna need to have a talk with Vigilon..." Dazia thought aloud. She really was looking forward to this little respite...
Meanwhile, Valna and Yinangi looked at their captive, who claimed that they couldn't keep him locked up forever. "Well, we're gonna keep you here until you're not a threat." Yinangi responded. "Dazia saved my life, so it's both the right thing to do, and being a good friend, to help save hers." Valna looked over to Yinangi. "Can you handle keeping him here on your own? I should probably see if I can find any hostiles outside." She asked the young white haired player. Yinangi smiled. "You bet!"
