  1. Silver chuckled, “I don’t know about ‘super assassin’. I just have a talent for the job. Not many make it as far as I have with the ability to be content. Its all about mindset, I choose to be content and make others content if possible. I see a world before me to be shaped and molded. There is no reason to be disdainful, plus I respect everyone who respects me. Even those I have a contract for… I guess the only person who is an acceptation is my partner but that is a story that would take far to long to tell.” He pauses when he is asked the question, it was a question he had been avoiding thus far. It was a hard to answer due to the weight of the situation. He sighs “To be honest with you, Hestia, once this game is over I either have to convince her to join the family, convince the family that she is to be trusted, or I will be forced to kill her. By family law if you have people too close to you, you have someone who can be exploited for family secretes and thus must be killed by the person who has endangered the family. Hiding is not an option for her, and I can’t turn away from the family. I am in line to take the place of my grandfather once he kicks the bucket. I don’t have the choice to turn that down.” A tear runs down Silvers face.

  2. Silver nodded, “Very well, please lead the way, comrade.” Silver then went to follow his companion. It was interesting, observing the surroundings, so much to learn in every step. Silver found himself thinking aloud. “This place reminds me of my time in Silicon Valley. That was a site to behold. The lush trees that surrounded the area, the rolling hills that seemed to be out of a photo shoot. It was no wonder that he held up there” Silver began to recount the memory, unaware that he was doing so aloud. Something of a flashback, then again, these things were common in his line of work. “Buck up Comrade, you always look so disgruntled… Yes I realize that you would rather be home but that is no reason not to enjoy the day. We have seventeen hours until we must be set up for the mission apex, the least you can do is relax…” Silver sighs, “We have valid intel as to where his whereabouts will be, why do you insist on distrusting it…. So what if we don’t personally know the man, he is a family correspondent…” Silver begins to get heated, “What do you mean you don’t trust Grandpa on this? You are beginning to sound like that knob end Atzo. I don’t understand why we had to be partners. Just because we are the best in the business. Grandpa knows I am more than capable to fend for myself… You little… Yes I am questioning Grandpa but this is different. People working together is much more problematic and takes time, you should know this…. Fine I will see you at sundown….”

  3. Silver smiled at the woman as she spoke, listening to the pride. Then he paused and realized the question that had been asked of him. This was the first time someone had asked him what he did before. He sighed, he rather not lie to the woman. After all, friends were honest with friends, right? He sighed. “You are close with the secret agent idea. I have indeed left a legacy, I am the best in the business. Those who know the code name I go by tremble in fear if they have any notion of my coming. You see, I am the assassin known as Wind. I have killed many people in my day, survived more fights than I can count. You see I take after my mother, she joined the family as a marksman. Though, guns have never really been my strong suit. Don’t get me wrong, I can shoot better than most marksmen, however I prefer to kill with my hands or a knife.” Silver stared into the distance as he relived the many different tasks. “I am both proud of my life and have a distaste for it. I know that I had no choice in the matter, my grandfather made that very clear. I ether server the family or run from it. And you have to be a master at hiding to run from the Zevulum’s. So, I took what was handed to me and made a name for myself. I was deemed ‘Wind’ because that is all people hear when I strike. I hope that doesn’t scare you, I don’t kill without a target or anything.” He paused and sighed “Perhaps I have said to much, I felt it best to tell you the truth if I were to see you as a friend. I never told Kathrine, then again she never asked.”

    @Hestia

  4. Silver nodded again, “I am by no way saying that I regret the friendship I made. If given the choice I would peruse it again with one hundred percent accuracy. I guess the jump from no friends to even one close friend was just more of a challenge than I had expected. Do not apologize for my own choices, for you did not make them. I am proud to see that seed blossom into the beautiful flower that she has.” Silver paused and thought for a moment. “It seems that you may have lived a life that was, in itself, the antithesis of my own up until I met my friend. You say you lived to make others happy, to benefit their lives. I must say, looking back on my own life, I am somewhat jealous of you. You have without a doubt left a legacy with those you care about. I have no doubt that your family is proud of what you have done and that your sister will look up to you for years and years to come. I never had that growing up. For me, I was sent on my first mission around the age of ten. I was forced to go alone as a test to my abilities to help the family. I never was given the ability to get close to others, for anyone I met I would soon leave. I guess I am trying to say, be proud of the life you have lived. Have no doubt that it is a righteous one. Furthermore, know that even those who have experienced as much as I have cannot compare their lives to those spent with family.”

    @Hestia

  5. Silver gives a slight nod. “I know the life of one who has been drowned in work and family affairs. In fact, I had been in such a position whilst I was in the original realm. I worked in the field of my families….. ‘dealings’ for most of my life, only recently did I have the opportunity to attempt to settle down. Though I cannot say it is worth it. It is both fantastically wonderful and fantastically horrific. I went from being the top of my career, best in the business, to a school child in a class that was far behind my own mental abilities. Just because I found someone I wanted to assist. I found someone who had gone through hardship and I felt needed my advice and counsel. I have lived the life of one hundred men and women after all. Surly I would be able to assist this person in a small point of their life. Though no training I had ever experienced prepared me for the trial of experiencing friendship. It was like being back in the shadows watching and waiting for my prey to approach me.” Silver gave a warm, friendly smile. He though back to his time as an assassin. It was his calling in life. He was quick to surpass his family and some even claimed him to be better than his grandfather, though that was simply not true in his opinion.

    @Hestia

  6. Silver pondered as he began to walk back out of the labyrinth. “How queer, a gift hidden deep within the heart of a labyrinth. One that gives the impression of being a challenge to find one’s way through without threat of death should that person not be of a substantial level. And the idea of a wedding, here? I assume it would be very possible though the question begs, when we get out of this strange realm, does the vows taken transfer into the real realm? If not, it seems as though it would be a perfect way for someone to fake a relationship for no more than to gain the wealth of their partner and leave them behind after the game. I must do some research about these things…” Silver trailed off before snapping back into reality. “I wonder how people go about their ceremonies here, I have seen many and they are all different. The American verse the Chinese alone is different enough to write almost a novel on the subject.” Silver chuckled and placed the Hoya of Minos around his neck. “What are your feelings on the whole idea, comrade? The ideas of marriage and spending one’s life with another until the end of time? Have you ever experienced the feeling to do such a thing in the original realm?”

    @Hestia

  7. Silver thought back to the variety of places he had gone. Images flashed through his mind as he thought. “I have been everywhere from Fukuoka, Japan to Alytus, Lithuania to Fortaleza, Brazil and that is just to name the smallest number for reference. It is safe to say that if a country exists and there are people that hold power in that country, I have been there. I spent my time learning the culture, writing maps, learning various martial arts and so much more. I have experienced foods that I never would have known existed had I been born to a bloodline outside the Zevulum, and thus stayed in Brittan.” Silver realized he had been rambling and stopped himself. He looked at his comrade with soft eyes, “My apologies, I get excited when talking about my past sometimes.” He then turned to the pedestal which was housing the Hoya. He approached it and observed the shape of the pendant. It was strange, he had assumed there to be something special about the necklace however he could not seem to figure out what it would be. He turned to Hestia. “What am I supposed to do with this? I had assumed it to be powerful however it shows no signs of such things. Do you have any idea as to the purpose it serves?”

  8. Silver smiled at her, at the notion she placed before him. The little bud he had met so long ago had begun to blossom into a magnificent flower. He only now had to wait to determine the colour. “I never claimed my family was good. I never claimed we were good people. In fact, I would hazard to say we are bad. Mostly, I refer to my family as Fantastic, though I never say it with the meaning of wonderful or great. I say it with the meaning of the biblical meaning, horrifying. Do you know how many people I have seen fall to my family? More than I would like to mention. The shear number of deeds that the bloodline does to keep its place as one of the most feared organizations is fantastic in its own right.” He paused as he processed the rest of her statement. He smiled softer at her, looking her in the eyes. “I will always be with you, Kathrine. I made you a promise, I gave you my word. I refuse to go back on it. And just as I have left a mark on you, know that you have left a mark on me as well.”

    @Eatos

  9. Silver pondered the name as he waited for the woman to return from the blacksmith shop. He analyzed the conversation they had been partaking in thus far. It was extraordinarily clear to him that he was annoying her. Perhaps he should back up in his conversational approaches. It wasn’t always profitable to be forward with others. He thought he should respond to the information given to him and say no more unless asked to do so. “Adrian Williams, yes I have known of such a man through my experiences. He was... interesting.” Silver gave her a soft smile and allowed her to lead the way, trailing behind her slightly. He continued to walk with the same style as before. It was hard for him to keep such things to himself. Though, he remembered how much others hated it when he did so. There was a man who despised his mouth, they worked together on occasion. Perhaps Silver could use this time to understand why it was these people disliked the way he spoke.

    @Embers

  10. Silver listened to the chatter of the two he was with, he listened as Saphira asked for permission to fight alongside the man. Though, The Master of Shadows answered before Silver had the chance. It was for the best, he knew he would come off as blunt if he went through with what words he had decided on in his head. He then listened as the man he had summoned explained his abilities, Silver smiled. Then, before anything else could be known the man disappeared into the shadows. Silver turned to Saphira as they walked. “This, you see, is why I called him here. I heard he was the master of stealth. He is the antithesis of what I plan to be. Myself focusing on seeing. I wish to be able to have no one, not even him, able to sneak up on me. What better way to prepare myself than to know exactly what it is I am up against?” He was sure it would be marvelous to observe this man in action. “In my life, dear Saphira, I have seen many things. Experienced so much more. I have lived the life of one hundred men and women. The world has so much potential out there for you to grip onto. Do not hide yourself away, holding onto the comfort of insecurities. Go out, be confident and command that the world listen to you.”

    @Saphira

  11. Silver smiled at the exchange of the journal between his two comrades. He was pleased that the journal had made it back into the possession of its rightful owner. He hoped that Miss Aster would not find herself without it again. It would surely prove too be a harder find than this was. He listened to her speak, asking him what he would be wanting to do should he find himself with the opportunity to gain a profession. Though he was not sure the various occupations in this realm. Only that there was Alchemy. Thus, he thought about the question presented to him. It took him a moment to respond. “Indeed, I believe there is an occupation I would find myself happiest in. That is if such an occupation is available to me. You see, back when we resided in the realm which we came from, and after my father allowed me to settle down in a country, I took up woodworking. I made vast numbers of trinkets, necklaces and music boxes. Do you know if such an occupation is able to be achieved in this realm? I would probably find myself proficient in Alchemy should I find that a dire need however I do not believe that I should peruse it. I enjoy woodworking far more.”

    @Aster

  12. Silver watched as the woman attacked, observing and taking in her style. It was enjoyable to watch as she fought. She seemed to be enjoying it. It wasn’t more than a second after her attack which the creature shattered. He reverted his stance back to the psuto-relaxed state which he normally was. “Throughout my life I learned many things. I have gone to many places. My father, you see, traveled a lot, and without my mother in the picture, I was to go with him wherever he went. Thus, whilst in the Philippines, I found myself with a great amount of free time. I spent that time at a local dojo, as I tended to do when traveling with him, learning the art of Arnis. It is a weapon based fighting style.” Silver tended to give more questions than answers when others inquired about his life. It was the way he lived. If someone was curious enough, and knew how to ask him so that he would always answer, they could potentially get him to explain his whole life to them. Though, no one had tried. Not to mention that those who might have been curious in the original realm tended to find him queer and avoid talking to him.

    @Hestia

  13. Silver was not surprised by his comrade’s ignorance to the methods of intuition. “There is not a conversation, decision, or action that does not have some sort of undertone that can be interpreted. As you said ‘Reading into’ is a vital part of my occupation. Should I leave something un-analyzed, I will find a flaw in my armour and my blade with not be sharp enough to make a killing blow.” They had arrived at the blacksmiths shop. Silver opened the door and motioned for the woman to enter. He did not speak whilst they were in the shop, choosing to keep his thoughts to himself whilst he had the ability. He thought though the list of mercenaries and bounty hunters that were kept in the archives. The profiles on those inside. He wondered who of those her father was. It was to take him a fair amount of time to locate the profile in his memories. Though, he would find it. His gift of photographic memory assured him of this. However, he did not have enough information on the subject to be able to pinpoint the identity just yet. Perhaps he would inquire more about this man at a later date. The questioning about one man could come off a bit queer and prove to push away who he saw now as his contact.

    @Embers

  14. Silver watched as the creature of ancient Greek mythos reeled at the repercussions of its attack. It was intriguing that such things would be the case whilst intentions were to deal more damage to ones opponent. Furthermore, he heard his comrade mention ‘thorns’. He assumed this to be a mechanical property of the armour she was adorned with. How queer it was, this ability, he felt the need to investigate it further once the current adventure was over.
    Silver adjusted his position to resemble the Arnis fighting style of the Philippines. He waited for the focus of the minotaur to lock back onto his comrade. Upon this, he struck with the war-hammer. It dealt a miniscule amount of damage, though he hadn't expected more than this. It was justly so, seeing as the feel of the weapon which he heals was far less balanced than a bow staff. That said, damage was damage as it was. Even the smallest amount could be greatly beneficial over the course of combat. Silver made sure he was no longer in the pathway of attack before resetting his posture, should he need to strike again.

  15. Silver nodded. “Wonderful! This should prove to be ‘a walk in the park’, so to speak.” He then opened his HUD and equipped his <<Mark 1 Zevulum Combat Armour>>. The almost ventablack, graphene based, modern combat suit fit to him tightly. He pulled the collar, which a deep purple Z was embroidered upon, to his mouth so that the Z was over his mouth. To any one affiliated with Spec Ops, assassination, mercenary work or bounty hunters would recognize the armour immediately. It was the armour used by the top notch assassin’s from the Zevulum heritage. Those who knew of it would tend to show hints of fear. In fact, it was an exact replica of the combat armour he adorned in the original realm. He followed the Master of Shadows, arms loosely at his side’s. Silver walked with a unique air about him. It gave both the impression of being relaxed and the intimidation of being able to snap someone s neck at any moment. The features exemplified by the graphene covering his mouth. “I will be standing aside during combat, think of me, in this moment, as a contentious objector. If you will” He wore a small smirk though it could not be seen. His eyes shown pleasantly. “Whilst we traverse tell me, Master Hikoru , what would you claim to have been your most memorable combat experienced sense entering this strange realm?

  16. Katherine tightly hugged him, tighter than she ever had before. He had no more to say. His mind, however, was racing without show of it quitting. He realized the true danger he had put her in. He knew that every decision was one of multiple. With every choice came multiple outcomes, all of which happened , all of which could change the validity of right and wrong for that decision. Her embrace was warm, comforting. He tried to accept the comfort, and outwardly he did. But he did not smile when she did pull away. He did not share in her laughter. In his mind were flashes of both dreams and reality. Images of family members who had some held close to them who were offer by enemies for being to close. Images of the family offing similar people for being told too much. But worst of all, the order to be taught a lesson by killing that person themselves.
    “If you tell someone about the family wuthout reason of clear family benifit and they do not join the family, cooperate with the family, or die by their own means; they will be taken care of by the one who broke the code.” Silver recalled his grandfather telling him. At the time it seemed reasonable, as if it were to be the right thing to do. It hadn’t even crossed his mind until this moment. The threat now looked overhead. The fear of someone finding how much he had told her. The fear of the family ears reaching to him even whilst he breaking from the business.
    Silver stayed silent for some time before he found the courage to speak. “It’s best not to dwell on what could have been. Do not feel guilty, my family has a way of entring  situations, unknown to those involved, and be accepted into the situation that moment without questions of others." he said in a semi monotone, empty voice while staring blankly at the wall
    @Eatos

  17. Silver nodded at the notion of the body being a vessel. It was a interesting thought to go through the idea of philosophy. He agreed that the body was indeed a vessel, however he thought to the idea of consciousness. His mind wandered to the idea of the body, instead, being the self. “If you look at the mind being who you are, if you were to swap your mind with someone else and observe the process of emergence, how can you still say that your self is your mind and not your body? You evolved to operate in the way that you do based on your ancestors. Your mind adapts to the abilities of your body as you live. Your body stores some valuable processes in the spine and other nerves. Who is to say that when your mind is placed in someone else’s body you don’t adopt their personality? It is no different than a farming town being overtaken by industry. You still have workers; the city is still the same city even with a new method of day to day life. Would that really be so different than to exchange the mind?”
    Silver looked around and found a small but very solid block of wood on the ground. “I guess I can keep a few for myself. I will take every other material I find. I am here for you after all. I have no quarrel with strengthen my wealth, however my goal is to strengthen yours.”

  18. Silver thought about the mention of Artisan. It was the occupation which he was the most interested. He wondered what it would be like to actually craft in this realm. The strange properties which were present would, without a doubt, prove to be interesting in its own right. He was sure that it would be both very different and quite the same in this realm as it was in the realm which his body resided.
    Silver watched as his companion activated a skill he had yet to see, though it seemed that it was used to draw the attention of enemies. Something that would undoubtedly be quite useful in a group combat setting in terms of straggly.  He had a feeling that it would be improper of him to choose no to fight this creature, whilst making his companion fight for him. However, he was greatly unconfident in his own abilities. He had never been trained in the use of a war-hammer. Still he elected to attack the creature. His stance was thrown off by the weight in his hand and whilst he attempted to attack the creature he was thrown to the side. He caught himself as he landed but his weapon slid away from him. Swiftly he retrieved it. “I assume this is my punishment for using an unfamiliar weapon. I apologize for my inability to cause significant impact in combat at the moment.”

  19. Silver nodded, his mouth still covered by the bullet proof cloth. He started walking in the direction of the blacksmith. He walked with a relaxed but delineate fashion as if he were special forces. He gave the impression of being able to snap your neck at any point in time. It tended to have both a feeling of relaxation and alertness to those who observed it. Those who knew the walk would have an easy time identifying it. It was the walk of an assassin, bounty hunter and special forces sniper, calm yet alert. “I believe the blacksmiths forge is nearby and in this direction.” He said as he began walking. “Interesting, it would make sense for him to teach you whilst you were hiking. The solitude allows for a vast amount of talk without worry of being eavesdropped upon or snuck up on. What did your father do for a living? It’s possible that I may know him. It is true that your style can do such things as make a person second guess your abilities. It is how you win a battle at a disadvantage.” Silver was unsurprised by the gift of combat that the father had given her. It was common in such families to pass down knowledge. If the man was indeed someone who shared in the job field of the Zevulums, he would more than likely pass the knowledge down as to protect someone who could be a potential target.

    @Embers

  20. Silver chuckled, “I have found that my childhood was quite unorthodox. Though, it seems my entire family was quite unorthodox in its ways. Yet, we are comparably far more traditional than most. Whilst it was a quite dangerous chemical, it is far from the most dangerous thing I was to do as a child.” Silver thought to his training, it had started at a young age and was something he rarely thought about in terms of comparison. When he thought about it in depth, he had never actually found someone else with the level of intensity of childhood which he had gone through. It was rare to find others trained at around age six for martial combat. Not to mention the training he acquired in other fields whilst in the field and traveling with his father. In fact it was rare of him to even mention his childhood to another person, the secrecy of the family ways dictating what can and cannot be discussed in vast detail.
    Listening to Aster speak of what he assumed to be magic though he was under seeing as she had cut herself off, Silver nodded. “Indeed, it is odd that such a fantasy world as this lacks the capability of magic. I wonder as to why that would be. Though I am glad you could find your way in alchemy as you have.”
    Koal seemed to take somewhat offence to what Silver had said to him. “My appologies if I have offended you, Master Koal. I am, of course, an advisor trust and it is my job to give my input on such things should I have input.” It seemed that Koal had found someone with information on the whereabouts of the item they had been looking for. Silver followed the child promptly. There was a subtle change in the way Silver walked at this point. Whilst it was normal for him to walk with a sort of casual confidence, in which he seemed to be trained by the armed forces, he now allowed his arms to be relaxed by his sides which, to both a careful observer and someone who was aware of such walks, gave the impression of him being both relaxed and able to snap someone  neck at any moment.

  22. OSilver chuckled “There is much more to assassination than just taking a life. In fact, an assassin can go months with a target that does not involve killing them. There is great reason for me to inform you as to who I am, though I fear that the reason is a family secrete. And, on the topic of my, as you so eloquently put it, ‘trying anything’ while I am an assassin, I am a man of my word. I will not attempt to harm you in any way for the time being. I would extend the date however I have no idea what the future holds and I will not make a promise I am not sure I can keep.” He looked around, attempting to figure out what it was she had intended to do. “Inform me, if you will, what is the mission you currently find yourself on? I must admit you seem lost, perhaps I can assist in directing us to the first checkpoint. It surely won’t be a vast hassle, you seem quite capable in your means.” Silver pauses, “on mention of that, where did you happen to learn such a stance? It is professional when used correctly. I can, in fact, only name a few people that use such a stance.”

    @Embers

  23. Silver nodded  “I shall keep your offer in mind” he said looking around. He heard the minotaur close by. “ I think your thoughts have been heard, by my calculations at least one will be around the next turn.” Silver thought about how strange it was being in this strange realm. He felt both able and helpless. Though helpless was more often what he felt. It wore on him, he was once able to take on any challenger. He would stand unafraid in combat, able to trust in his abilities and his alone. Now, though, he could do no such thing. He was forced to rely on others to assist him which, he wasn’t to find of. That was not to say he didn’t know the benefits of a comrade, however that he greatly disliked relying on a comrade alone. Still he readied his war-hammer. “Every day is an adventure. I find it is beneficial to live life with the mentality of being ready for something interesting to happen. Though in my free time I dabble in poetry and musicianship. Before I found myself in this realm, I oft found myself in my garage woodworking. If not there I would be honing my martial prowess. Now though, I tend to sit and observe the goings on of the beings that inhabit this world. Perhaps, on day, I shall write a novel containing my observations.” He turned to his companion briefly “how about yourself?”
    The two turned the next corner to see a large minotaur before them. Silver held himself back to allow for his comrade to make a move.

  24. Silver smiled as he observed the defensive stance. He chuckled at her words. “Perhaps you misheard me. I am an assassin, it is customary for us to jump out from hidden locations at those we have a mark on of any kind. My mark on you is not to kill you though, I am curious as to where you learned that stance and why you choose such a style of cloth? It gives me the impression of you being in the Special Forces, though it is somewhat unrefined. Calls me back to the characteristic stances of mercenaries. Though, you cannot be ether a mercenary or a member of special forces, or you would have killed me the moment I told you my name…. That or you would have ran.” He paused and thought for a moment, pulling the collar of his armour to his mouth, the large purple Z now fully covering his mouth. “You seem to have a task to complete. I wish to assist you in completing whatever you are attempting to do. In exchange for my assistance, I wish to inquire about your history and how you learned such moves.” Silver’s eyes show determination and a hint of bloodlust, though his smirk cannot be seen through the fabric.

  25. Silver watched as the blacksmith labored away over the anvil. It was interesting how she didn’t actually need graphene as a material to create the armour, instead she was just able to make it without worry as to the materials used. This Crafting thing was becoming more and more intriguing as he went through the game. She handed the now complete armour to him. “Simply, magnificent. You really have honed your craft!” He said before equipping the armour. Even though it was not the armour he started with, now it only being binary code, it still brought him a strong sense of nostalgia. The lightweight but versatile threading of graphene putting just enough weight on his body to allow for him to punch harder. The weight just enough to crush an untrained soul who found themselves underneath Silver in combat. “Thank you very much, my friend. You did excellent work!”
