  1. Silver smiled, releasing his grip. “Yes, I did. I saw potential in you, there were things about you that caught my eye about you that knew would trouble me for the rest of my life should I have left you. So, I stayed, I stayed and cared for you. Assisting you in any way I could so that you could discover your potential yourself. Whilst I did all this, I must say it was all worth it. You see, by staying with you I got something in return that I would never have gotten if I left.” Silver once again looks Katherine directly in the eyes. “I got a friend. I got to have someone that I could rely on for more a reason than ‘because they are family’. I got to have someone I could care for, someone I could live for. By making the choice of staying behind, I made the choice to no longer be alone. So, Thank you Katherine. Thank you for giving me that choice.” A tear fell down Silvers face as he spoke. “If it hadn’t been for you, I would still be moving from city to city. Learning everything I could about everything there was to learn, put through training after training of how to protect and how to kill. I would still be a name on a list of assassins. No more to anyone than a tool to the ends, no more than someone to call should someone need to be eliminated. Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to be your friend.”

  2. Silver watched as a girl with red hair walked past, she specifically caught his eye for a few reasons. Firstly, she was wearing very modern clothing, which was strange in comparison to the clothing worn by most in this realm. Secondly, she was wearing thinks that made her seem to be of a militaristic combat background, combined with the determination behind each footstep she made seeming to be done so with strict purpose as if she had somewhere to be and be there quick. Thirdly, she wore a scythe on her back, it was interesting to see that she would be so conspicuously wearing such a large weapon. It gave the impression of her wanting others to steer clear of her. Though, to Silver such things were a challenge. He swiftly made his way as to follow her, running atop the building for concealment, his feet silent as the evening breeze as he ran. His clothing sounding like no more than the wind, it was the reason he was named Wind by his grandfather. He began to ponder if she would know of him, most who acted the way she seemed to would know him, whether you were a bounty hunter, politician, military official, or just a connoisseur of classified intelligence you would know his code name. Depending on who you were you may even know his picture and real name. Silver equips <<Mark 1 Zevulum Combat Armour>>
    Silver went to the far edge of the building he was currently observing her from and sprinted back. Using his momentum, he jumped from the top of the building, doing a backflip as he did so and turning around. He was in the safezone still, so he was sure that he would be alright once he hit the ground. He landed in an expertly done pose, partially kneeling with his head less than a foot from the girl.
    Silver stood and gave the girl a slight respectful bow. “Greetings, I am Silver ’Thorsten’ Zevulum, the assassin known as ‘The Wind’ It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

  3. Silver was sitting in a tree close to Frostbite Lake as he tended to. He had been there sense 0500 hours, observing all that went on with the world. He had watched the sun rise over the horizon and heard as the birds had come out to sing their songs. It was nice. Unlike most of those he found in his time, being in this strange realm thus far, he enjoyed the feeling of the cold on his skin. It was a nice compliment to his high production of body heat. He wondered as to the nature of the tasks that stood before him in this day. It was going to undoubtedly be quite interesting, though it had already been four hours sense the day had officially started with the sun being fully above the horizon, and yet, no adventure had posed itself to him thus far. Silver elected to wait for another two hours before he made his way back to the main town on this floor. He knew it was possible he was just not in the right place as of the moment, though he didn’t wish to be impatient ether.

    @Pinball @Facade

  4. Silver nodded and quickly made his way to the edge of the town. As they arrived Silver set a majority of his focus on material searching, however he ensured that he was still aware of what was around him. The last thing he needed was to be taken by surprise for any reason.
    He thought to the almost uncharacteristic admiration for talking about the idea of consciousness that his companion had shown. “I wouldn’t say we are currently attached to a suicide box, if we are to die here I believe it would be more akin to murder than suicide. That said, regardless as to us being 1’s and 0’s, we are still conscious. It truly begs the question, are you your mind or your body? What is it that dictates who you are? Personally, I believe that we are our minds. I would still be me if you placed my mind in someone else, I would just be me in another person’s body. Though some would argue otherwise. What do you think of it, my friend?”
    Silver stumbled across a plant that gave the resemblance of being a bunch of carrots. “Look at that,” Silver said as he gave the carrots to Pinball, “We are already starting the day off with success! I hope the day continues to bid us well.”

  5. Silver walked through the entrance of the labyrinth. “It is greatly appreciated! I haven’t been able to acquire the combat skill that I am interested in using. Thankfully, my guild leader is planning to assist me in acquiring it. However, while I am not very powerful and am to be seen as useless in combat, I will still attempt to assist in any way I can.” He then though to how she spoke of the Grecian myths. “It is very interesting, isn’t it? Not to mention how such knowledge can be of great use in this game. For example, as this is a labyrinth, there will be no dead ends of this structure. There is only one way to enter and leave, and the middle of the area is where we should find the treasure we are pursuing. If this proves to not be the case then this is not truly a labyrinth, but is instead a maze.” They had been walking for quite some time as the pathway twisted and turned. “I wonder when it is we will find the creatures that are rumored to be in this area. I feel that I should be equipped incase I am needed to fight.”

    Silver looked around for anything he may be able to use for trade, though he could see no such thing around. Granted he wasn't looking too hard, it would be rather unintelligent of him to take to much focus away from observation.

    <<Worn Out Welcome>>

    This quest takes place on Floor 3
    This quest is repeatable for item only

    The master NPC Armorsmiths Griswold, and his wife Hanna, have opened his services to new players of SAO a custom armor shop. He takes orders for no price, but instead asks for materials. That's right. YOU, the player, have to tell Griswold what kind of armor you want. He'll give you the material names and how to get them, and it's up to you to retrieve them.

    Entering the shop on Floor 3, you encounter a surly smith and his loving wife. After describing the type of armor you desire (Cloth, Leather, Light Metal, or Heavy Metal) Griswold works with you to determine the right type of material, before sending you on your way to collect the needed materials. Upon returning with the correct materials in the proper quantities, Griswold and Hanna will create your very own set of Uncommon Armor. These materials can be found from fighting a dark elf in the Forest of Wavering Mists.

    Silver found himself once again on the luscious third floor town of Delilah. He had climbed to the top of a building as he tended too in order to look over the happenings of others in the area. It was peaceful and few people were about. He assumed it had to do with his becoming conscious at 0500 and arriving there at what was now 0545 hours. Still he looked forward to the interesting things that may fall before him in the day that was before him. Silver looked to the horizon where the sun was beginning to poke over, his eyes glistening in the light. There was a slight breeze which made the temperature comfortable at what he assumed was roughly 293 Kelvin. It was pleasant to say the least.
    Silver once again found himself calling back to the time he spent in China with his father. There was a point that he saw a strange building on the mountainside nearby. Curious, Silver climbed the mountain to figure out what it was that stood there. He had stumbled upon a small monetary where he spent the rest of his time learning the culture and ways of the monks that lived there.

    @Embers

  7. Silver nodded at his companion. “Very well, I shall hold onto them. Though be expecting me in your shop soon with interest in procuring a new set.” The walk up the mountain would be a challenge for some however, Silver had had his fair share of mountain climbing, and this was no different. It wasn’t long before the duo reached the top, a small plateau. “So, my friend, what is it we are to do now?” Silver looked around seeing no more than a large rock. Perhaps there was something he was missing. He checked the tightness of the handwraps once more as he looked around, though he did this subconsciously. It was going to be quite the task attempting to do whatever it was they needed to do. He had no doubt, though he had a sliver of fear of what the task may be. “Tell me, how has your trials in this strange new world gone? You are clearly well versed, seeing as you are a higher level then myself. I have no doubt that you are to have interesting stories.” Silver paused and thought for a moment. “Though, seeing as I trust you quite a bit. I will allow you to, whilst we are completing this task, ask me any question you have about my personal life you wish. I will answer with honesty. However I will reserve the right to deny an answer to your question.”

    @Stryder

  8. Silver smiled at the notion of a Grecian based society. “I take it you are the condisour of myth and legend! How far do your reaches of knowledge go in the Grecian culture? Would it be correct of me to assume you have well versed yourself in the philosophy associated with it as well? I am intrigued as to your notion of fighting alongside a legend, or similarly giving against a deity. These pose for me the inquiry of whether or not you have experienced such things in the past.” He stopped and pondered for a moment, “in fact, I believe the labyrinth we are to soon step foot in, finds its home in a Greek tale. As do the miniature there in. How interesting that such things would make their way into this realm, granted it is a form of ancient construct, calling things from the dark ages of European mythos to do its bidding as well…” Silver trailed off before blinking and realizing how long he had been talking. “Appologies, I have found that I tend to ramble about such things.”
    The two reached the entrance of the labyrinth. The massive walls stretching in both directions as they approached. Silver though as to the way his companion holds herself, seeming to have both strong outward emotions and weak ones. It was pleasant to see her excitement, however.
    @Hestia

  9. Silver retired the smile, his eyes glistening in the sunlight. “Simply splendid! This will surely be a day to remember!” He began walking to where his informant had informed him to go. “I have no worry as to people of malicious intent. My family has reach in a majority of government organizations workings as advisors and ambassadors, so if someone wanted to track one of us it would not be challenging. That said, we are trained how to protect ourselves from a young age and sharpen multiple blades in the case of someone who wishes harm upon us. Though most of what is needed to protect ones self from an attacker is careful observation to ones own daily life and the interactions there in.” He thought to when his father had traveled to New York on business. Silver had roamed the streets, strengthening his ability to read those he spoke to whilst he met people. “It is understandable that most would be of worry for such things, few have been brought into such a strict life as those brought into the Zevulum bloodline. Not all who are born a Zevulum find themselves with the ability to be true to the family without mental harm. Take my brother, for instance. He fell from his position in the bloodline once we found him to be a better puppet then a puppeteer.” Silver chuckled. “If I may ask, in your adventures, what is it that intrigued you the most?”
    Silver was pleased with the way this day proved itself to be going. It would fair him well he assumed and it was a wonderful day to be had, he was sure.
    @Hestia

  10. Silver was sitting in a tree on floor 3 when he received the message. It was a brilliant opportunity for him to aquiore more information on his guildmate and thus he made his way to the transporter, a flash of blue light and he was on the first floor. As he stepped off the platform his mind wandered to the philosophy of those kinds of things. Spotting his companion he approached and gave a respectful bow. “Greetings, I look forward to joining you on this adventure.” He smiled at Pinball “have you ever wondered what happens when you step into the transporter? How can you be certain that the same you who walked onto it is who walked out? In fact, all breaks in consciousness like this pose the question of how consciousness works. How can you be certain that you do not walk into a suicide box as you get transported?” he shook his head “My apologies, I am rambling. Please, lead the way.”

    @Pinball

  11. Silver shook his head once again. “If you were go be as you put it ‘as useless as when I first met you’ now then I would have failed my task.” Silver sighed and looked Katherine dead in the eyes, his own eyes filled with determination, he then gave her a firm embrace and whispered in her ear, “I gave up everything to be with you Katherine. I told my father that I wished to take a break from the family business so that I could further develop my abilities as an advisor. He continued on with his work leaving me in that town. I told myself that I would see to it that you would become so much greater than you could ever know you were. In a way, you saved me just as much as I saved you. You allowed me to see something about life that my family could never show me. What it meant to live for someone else. What it meant to have someone I was truly scared of loosing. You aren’t a failure, you aren’t a burden, you are the strongest person I have yet to meet and I am willing to bet you will prove to be the stronger person I am to ever meet. Atzo is not outside the realm of redemption, no one is. If you want to change his ways that badly then by all means, do it. I have taught you how to manipulate people into seeing things hour way, haven’t I? All you have to do is show them that there is a way out. You cannot save him, Katherine, he must first want to save himself. Then will you be able to redeem him.”

    @Eatos

  12. Silver smiled at his guild leader, accepting the offer of the gloves. “It is greatly appreciated, my friend. Though I will plan to return them when I find myself with the money needed to get a pair of my own. I believe I will be doing that in your shop as a matter of fact so I will have the ability to return them to you then.” He then equipped the midnight blue handwraps, taking a moment to make sure they were slightly too tight on his arms. “Wonderful! I am curious to see how these fair me. So, Master Stryder, lead the way. I plan to get this skills before nightfall! I have a appointment with Pinball and Spencer within the next week where I may be required to fight some plant creatures.” He motioned for Stryder to lead the way. It was always enjoyable to train with a friend as he was about to do.

  13. Silver entered the small blacksmiths shop. It was wonderful to see how Katherine had done so well in her field of blacksmithing. He houses he wares before approaching the counter, stopping to pet her husky familiar on his way. “Greetings, Mistress. I believe it is time I get my gear made. If you don’t mind of course.” Silver smiled before filling out the order form and placing 350 col on the counter. “I believe with the guild discount this I what I owe you.” He was unsure what she would think of his order. She had no doubt seen it before whilst she would be at his abode back when they were in their original realm. He had thee outfit hanging in a glass case in his room. Thinking about how long it had been sense he had last needed to wear the armour caused him to become eager to wear it once again. “If you are accepting of this, I wish to observe you work. 14. Silver smiled, it was always interesting seeing the expressions of those whom he newly met when he introduced himself. “Indeed, my name from before entering this strange new realm was Silver Zevulum and though my username is Thorsten, I offer both my username and real life name to people. I will not forsake my bloodline by hiding my heritage from others.” He stopped and pondered what it was she had informed him in accordance to he beings on this floor. “How intriguing! You are very honourable with the amount of humility you have. It is excessively pleasant to find someone, as able ad you surly are, so willing to assist those that are not at your level. In fact, if you have the time, I heard of a strange quest in which you must retrieve a necklace known as the Hoya from deep within a labyrinth. I would be honoured if you would assist me. I greatly wish to hear of your stories and adventures both on and off the battlefield should you allow me to hear them.”
    Silver began his mental note taking, ready to fill his journal with the stories he may be told. It was something of a hobby of his. He knew that it was necessary for him to write such things that he found out through his life being that he has a photographic memory, though he wanted to ensure that if he ever experienced mental trouble in the future he would always be able to look back at the books he kept and remember who he was.
    @Hestia

  15. Silver watched as those around the city walked and saw someone’s pet fly up from her and approach him. He reached his hand out to the creature with a mind smile as to allow the creature to both know that he was not a threat and to offer to hold or pet the creature. Then he heard, who he assumed to be this creatures mistress, call up to him. Silver chuckled and made his way down the building. He gripped the edges of windowsills and platforms as he dropped and swung himself to the ground in a deliberate but seeming my careless fashion, though it was clear to a careful observer that he was moving with a vast amount of expertise. Once he landed he approached the woman and gave her a respectful bow. “I was simply observing the behaviors of those who are on this town as I awaited the day to present me with the adventure I am to partake on.” He smiled at the woman, his light pink hair and semi open button-up shirt blown slightly by a combination of the breeze and the climb down. He stood with an open and welcoming expression, his arms hanging loosely at his sides. “I am Silver ‘Thorsten’ Zevulum. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Mistress. You may call my Silver, Thorsten, or some derivative of ether of the two. What ever you like.”

    Silver walked the third floor of the castle Aincrad. Though it was more of a wander then a walk. He observed the many different observations to be had in the forest town. It seemed to be quite a bustling place  something Silver enjoyed. The man had much he could observe in this place and much he could surely learn from the players and psudopoeple who he would find without a doubt. He climbed atop a nearby building and perched, looking out at the town square., his heterochromatic eyes glistening in the light of the morning sun as he did so. He wondered as to what the day had in store for him. It had been some time sense he last set foot on this floor and was happy to have the ability to look out and be in awe of that which was around him. He remembered back to the time that his father had taken him to China on business, he had climbed on top of one if the shops in the small town to do the same thing he was doing now. How much different it was now than it had been, and yet he found himself in the same scenarios as he had before.

    @Hestia

  17. Silver nodded at pinball words as he listened. ”Splendid!” he said as they approached the city. “in accordance with this information, I believe our best bet will be to split up for the time being and come back in a week. I trust we will all be of adequate level by then. However, just in case we are not I will go and find someone who is of high level who can help us.” Silver stopped walking at the gate to the city and turned to the other two. “I will meet you here at 0600 hours, today next week. I wish you the best of luck with your training. Should you feel the need to request my assistance in your training please inform me.” He then gave the two a respectful bow, he gave one to each of them, before turning and walking into the city.
    Silver knew that this would be interesting and had high goes for this small group. Spencer seemed to have the determination to be punctual in regard to completing this quest. He also realized that Pinball seemed to have some strange suspicions about Silver. And Silver had no doubt that this alone would push the man to retire at the designated time. If he didn’t, Silver knee that the questions would more than likely eat at the man. Or at least based on his experiences he assumed this would be the case.
    @Spencer

    (OOC: I will be ending the thead in my next post. Let me know when you feel prepared to take on the quest.)

  18. Interesting as it was, Silver was pleased to note that he was to meet Stryder on the second floor. He made his way to the transporter, swift to arrive on the floor. He looked around for a moment before locking his sights on his friend from before their imprisonment and adoption into this strange castle Aincrad. Approaching the man Silver gave a respectful bow. “My thanks to your haste in assisting me on this adventure, and my apologies for the short notice in which I requested your assistance. So, my friend, please inform me as to how you have acquire this ability which I am so eager to regain.” Silver smiled at his friend, it was pleasant to have people who knew that dispute his oddities he was still an actual human being with actual feelings.
    Silver took a food look at his friend, noticing his sleepy expression. “You look a little weary, my friend. I do hope I  didn't rouse you from your slumber.”
    @Stryder

  19. Silver sighed and shook his head. “I do not want to push this, I understand that I cannot change your mind about this. Go, Katherine, save him. Though, I must say I will refrain from advice on the matter. I have a lot of respect for you, I have a vast amount of admiration for you. So go, prove me wrong  if you must. However, if you find yourself in a position of regret because of this, I will have little I can do to help you remove such regret.” Silver looked her in the eyes, “you live your life by your own choices, if this is what you so choose to do then very well. However, remember this, every choice you make, you make for those who care about you as well. Everything you say or do affects everyone who is close to you.”
    It was hard for Silver to back down from this, and he made no effort to hide his anguish. Though, he was certain that there wasn’t anything more should do from here. He knew how Atzo worked, he had seen his fall. Similarly he knew Katherine well. He had participated in her rise. The part that tolled on him was his inability in this moment to ensure her mental safety. He remembered to the day his grandfather told him the most important advice he had heard. “Wind,” his grandfather had said “in my experience, throughout the ages, of lives I have impacted and assisted, I learned one thing that has never failed to be true. No matter what you do, how charismatic you are or how close you are to someone, regardless as to the amount of mutual love you share. If someone has their heart set on something, you will never be able to change their mind. Not even if you know the consequences.”

    @Eatos

  20. Silver nodded as Kathrine spoke about Atzo. He thought about how to speak to her about his nephew’s disappearance. “First of all, you have no need to worry about Atzo. While he I do not like the man, I must give him respect. He can fend for himself, he did it for many years. We all did. He is smart enough not to get himself killed. Secondly, it is not surprising that he vanished. As I said, it is how he operates best. He uses hit and run tactics in his day to day life, not realizing that it gets him nowhere and hurts those he cares about. Do not dwell on him, he will find his way, and perhaps that way will allow him to come out on top. Though, based on experience, it more than likely won’t.” He thought for a moment and looked to the wall of the cave, close to the opening. It was damp, and some small drops of water could be seen running down the side. “Much like the water falls. Zevulums are taught from a young age to complete their task and leave. Those in power fear the name if they do not believe we are on their side. Our lives are shaped to be what we are from the beginning. He was no different from me in how he was raised, save his idiot of a father. The main difference is that he chose to be the way he is today. Much like how I chose to be the man I am. He knows how to be happy, how to be content with life much like I am. He chooses to run from it.” He sighs and looks back to Kathrine, looking her directly in the eye. “Remember this, when dealing with Atzo. You cannot fix anyone, You cannot change someone who does not want to be changed. At the most, all you can do is offer your advice and knowledge to assist in their change or fixing of themselves. That is not something for you to be concerned with yourself, that is not something you can hold against yourself. You do not have the ability to fix Atzo if he will not let you fix him. That is his fault, not yours.”

    @Eatos

  21. Silver awoke from his bed on the fourth floor. Interestingly, Fae had woken up before him and left the inn. This was odd, but not troubling. If Silver knew anything, it was that Fae could fend for herself if she needed to, so he need not be too worried. Still, he woke and got himself ready for the day. It took him some time to notice the notification of a message on his HUD, but he swiftly opened the message and read it. “Interesting, a guild raid. That must be where Fae went off to in such a hurry this morning.” He spoke to himself as he readied himself to leave. He made his way to the teleporter and  was swift to find himself in the town of beginnings. He quickly made it way to a rooftop and began to run across them until he could see the group. He then made his way to a nearby tree and perched there, close enough to listen but hidden with assistance from the cover of the leaves and branches. He had no faith in his skills for stealth but that didn’t bother him much. He was simply there to observe at this moment. He planned to join in once everyone else had arrived however.

    To start the quest, the player must first find the quest NPC that has taken residence in a hut near the summit of an exceptionally high mountain at the southern edge of the 2nd Floor. If the player accepts the quest, the NPC takes the player outside to a 2 meter-high rock with a diameter of about 1.5 meters and almost as tough as an Immortal Object. There, the NPC reveals that the player must split the rock into two using only their fists and then proceeds to paint whiskers with quick-drying paint on the player’s face, claiming that the whiskers cannot be removed until the rock is split. If the player does manage to split the rock, they are rewarded with the Extra Skill.

    Silver walked the Fourth Floor of the Castle Aincrad. He wondered as to how his guild leader and friend had achieved his immaculate skills for martial arts. He decided he would send a message to the man and ask.
    “My dearest Stryder,
    I message you with a burning question, one that I feel it is time I find the answer to. How is it that you got your skills at martial arts? Surely, there is some quest I am to do if I will be able to gain this skill. I implore you to assist me in achieving this answer and humbly ask for you assistance in obtaining the skill. If you have no quarrel with such a request please let me know at your earliest possible convenience.
    Regards,
    Silver ‘Thorsten’ Zevulum”

    And with that he sent the message to his friend, still wondering how it would be for him to go about gaining the powers he once had. Silver decided to climb a nearby tree whilst he waited for a reply. He perched himself as if he were an owl in silent observation of his surroundings.

  23. Silver listened to the alchemist intently as she spoke. He smiled at her confidence. Once she had finished he spoke. “It is truly unfortunate that you do not have the ability for such interesting thing that chemistry can create. You seem yourself to be a woman of science. Tell me, Mistress Aster, have you ever dabbled in the art of chemistry? When I was young my uncle brought me to his chemistry lab and taught me about a variety of things. We even made Chlorine Trifluoride once.” Silver chuckled at this remark. “One day we attempted to make Azidoazide Azide, though as you could probably guess, that didn’t last very long. We had decided to test the notion of being unable to analyze it by use of spectroscopy. Needless to say, we found that it was in fact true that the chemical explodes when placed under a spectrometer.”
    Silver then turned to Koal, pondered what the man said for a moment before responding. “I feel that I should say, Master Koal, that happiness is a reward your brain gives you from hard work. And to gain more happiness one must do more hard work. Failure to do such a thing leads to a state of increased depression. My advice on the matter is that you not allow yourself to become so lazy that true happiness is outside of your reach.”
    Silver then continued to look for the journal that was mentioned beforehand. Though he feared that they would be unable to find it.

  24. Silver chuckled before taking another sip of his tea. “Perhaps, though I must admit, it seems the abilities that I had prior to the beginning of the adventure through this strange realm are no longer with me. I am now as I was before I learned! That said I have no doubt that I will be able to find the things which I have lost.” Silver then ate the food in front of him and left the payment on the table. “Indeed, perhaps we are to find quite the adventure in the world today, little one. Let us begin our wondrous endeavor, clearing a path through the land as we go. Nothing stands in our way but us after all.” With that Silver stood up and walked to the door, waiting for the other two to join him after he exited. It was interesting how fast this interaction had gone. Silver had no doubt that this day would take quite the bit of experience to navigate thought. However, if there was anyone with the experience to do so, it was Silver.
