  2. Spangie squealed excitedly as she held a bowl of roasted chickpeas. "I made a perfect item! I guess the bad luck turned into a good fortune!" she said in utter happiness. Apricot gave a friendly and joyous chirp, circling around the players head. "Whooooo!" she spun around it circles with delight. "I can't believe I crafted something so wonderful!" she gave a bright smile and set the bowl down. No wonder let's try to do that again.. Few Minutes Later - Spangie threw a pile of gray colored mush in the trash can. "Oh well.. we still have a perfect item.." she said to her familiar, a nervous chuckle escaping her lips.

  3. "Heheh.. I get you fully, they all honestly look super skilled," she gave a small laugh but nodded her head, "low leveled guilds aren't as easy to find these days.." she replied, trailing off. Would it be easier to join a guild? Hoe do they even work? She sighed and took another small sip of her drink, the sweetness of it soothed her. She lost her train of thought and ended up staring blankly at her cup. Do guilds make this easier? Easier to cope with being in this game?

    She then realized that Ara had stopped talking, only for the purple haired girl to tal once more. "You're right'" Spangie gave a curt nod and smiled, "It must be nice to have someone you could trust like that here," she said, her voice a little sad. "It's hard not to trust anyone here.. death basically lurks at every corner y'know?" she said, leaning back in her chair. "Sorry to be an old mood pooper," she giggle, a small smile appearing on her lips.

  5. Spangie skipped happily down the paths of Coral, her brightly colored familiar resting in her shoulders. What was I here for again? She froze, and flicked her head stupidly. Oh right! I got that quest.. she poked her cheek, remembering the info she's had gotten from a certain info broker. "It was this floor right?" she said out loud, waking up her familiar. Apricot gave a loud chirp of protest, and pecked innocently at her cloths. Spangie mouthed a quick sorry and went back to thinking. What was this quest even for again? She squinted at the sun. She clapped her hands together suddenly, startling her familiar even more. "Right! It was the quest to get a photo of something.." she trailed off, biting her lip.

    Eh, I know where to find it at least. She shrugged and gave a small huff. Maybe I need help.. it is floor 22.. she sighed, looking around for anyone. I barely know anyone though. Her lips frowned as there were few people in the town in general. Hopefully someone shows up?

  6. Day 6 :

    Spangie huffed as yet another material came uncooked in a pan. Oh well.. she pouted, placing the items in her inventory. "Well, let's try one more time! Shall we?" she clapped her hands together and grinned at Apricot, only receiving a shrill tweet back. Let's ge to it.. Few Seconds Later - Spangie le tout a shriek as the pan in front of her burst into flames. "Oh wait, I can't even get damaged.." she huffed and chucked the pan across the shop. "Why is I think so hard?!"

  7. Day 5 :

    Spangie sighed as she put another scrap of material in the pan. And tada.. she said dumping it onto a plate, another pile of a- "Wait a minute," she blinked, observing the food closely. After a few seconds, she covered her mouth. "I made something.." she turned to Apricot. "I made something!" she yelled excitedly, Apricot only chirped happily and gave a warm glow. "Finallllyyy!" she held the plate up high and spun around. Few Minutes Later - Spangie had pulled out another uncooked material and stored it in her inventory. That's fine, at least I actually crafted something today.

  8. Day 4 :

    Spangie sighed again as another one of her snacks become uncooked. "At least I still keep the materials.." she sighed, placing items back in her inventory. It's better the more losing them at least. Apricot gave a shrill squeak and perched herself on Spangie's shoulder. "Why must crafting be so hardddd?" she groaned, rubbing her eyes. Five Minutes Later - Spangie deadpanned when the pan left another, you guessed it, a pile of ashes. Gosh dang it.. She puffed and threw it away. It's been four days since I've opened and still haven't made a single thing.

  9. Spangie shrunk back as Paglikha started arguing again, Of course. But when Paglikha unsheathed his dagger she gave a small squeak and back away a bit farther. After he settled down she  slowly patted his shoulder too after he was finished. "There there children, just calm down," She said nervously. Patting them both at the same time her face became awkward. What the hell am I doing? she made a face and immediately stopped patting them. God, what was I actually doing? She shook her head and sighed.

    Seeing that both of them didn't know the floor she gave a small giggle, feeling amused when Tetsuo asked her for help. "Yes actually. I've been researching this place to set up my shop," she stuck her tongue out and gave a thumbs up to herself. "You're just lucky to have an expert guide like me around, heheh.." she chuckled to herself. A small grin forming on her lips, "I know this great cafe that sells a bunch of cool drinks and food, just follow me!" She said cheekily and dashed off in a random direction -- for the two men of course, she had partially memorized the whole floor -- she spun freely as she ran to a small shop. The shop was fairly average sized and there were small tables and chairs that were played in front of it, letting the customers enjoy the nice weather that occurs in Floor 3. "We're hereeee~" She sang as she waited for the two to catch up.

    Day 3 :

    The young chef cautiously put the small pot on top of the stove. her familiar chirping happily beside her. "Lets hope I don't mess up this time Apricot," she sighed, turning the stove on. 5 Minutes Later - "Well.. at least its not burnt this time?" she said dumping the remains of soggy mush into the trash can. Ugh. Is it always this hard to cook? It was so much easier with Maggie, she gave a heartbroken sigh and put the pot on the oven again. The baby phoenix gave a shrill tweet, attempting to cheer her up. Spangie gave a small smile and muttered under her breath, "I hope I actually make something this time."

    Spangie pulled out the material from the boring pot. "It didn't cook?" she squinted in confusion. Apricot tilted her head with just as much, tweeting in little parts. "Well, I do guess it's better than losing it.." she sighed, placing the material back in her inventory. Guess I'll just have to try my luck again tomorrow. She sighed dejectedly.

  11. "Oh," was all she maneged to say. I don't think it will, plus I like it like this! She smiled loving at the small bird. The creature warbled in glee and climbed on her hand. She held it up and looked at it intently, "I guess it does," she gave a small chuckle and she ther hand back down again. The Phoenix tweeted in delight but remained on her hand. Oh well.

    "Aw, c'mon. You have to have something!" she groaned. "I didn't plan on getting a familiar this quick so how am I supposed to know?" she sighed and went back to thinking. What fits her? She pondered. "What about April? Spark? Flare?" she listed a few names that had popped up in her head, making the creature tilt its head in confusion. She sighed and tried ome last attempt. "Apricot?" at the name, the small Phoenix gave a shrill chirp and bounced on her hand. "Apricot it is!" she giggled as she petted the birds back softy. She turned to Shin, "Yeah, sure sure," she puffed as Shen lifted herself off the ground, Apricot perching herself on Spangie's shoulder. "Yeah, let's head back, I forgot how hot it wasn't again," she muttered dryly as she shielded her head with her hands from the harsh sunlight. "Let's go!" she said brightly, skipping back to town.

    @Shin

  12. She blew a raspberry at him. "Sure, I'm easy to read," she pouted, her gaze sending dangers at him. What a jerk. She rolled her eyes and looked back at the small chick. "If it's a baby, do you think it would grow up?" she asked him, tilting her head as she scratched the chin of the small creature. The bird gave a shrill chirp and nuzzled closer to her finger. So.. cute! She beamed, grinning playfully at the tiny Phoenix. It's such a cute little bird.

    Her eyes went wide at a sudden thought. I haven't named it yet.. her? Looks like a her, I think it's a her. She furrowed her brows and looked back at Shin. "Hey, help me come up with a name. Make it a cute one too," she smirked as she sat down, her legs crossing. "And I told you it was a good omen, hah!" she chuckled evilly and went back to playing the tiny bird, who simply chirped happily. I'm not going to let him live it down. She grinned at the thought. "Hehe.."

    @Shin

  13. Spangie smiled as Ara tried to reassure her. "I guess we've both been sitting around," she admitted, a small chuckle followed it. Her grip on her cup loosened as she calmed down. She gave an assuring smile to the purple haired girl letting her know that she was indeed fine. "Oh, I'm definitely doing better," she took another small sip for her cup. "I swear, I didn't even know how to open my menu when the game first came out," she joked, toying with the straw. "But to answer your question, yes, I am doing wayy better than before," a grin formed on her face.

    Spangie's tensed shoulder relaxed as she leaned forward and propped an elbow on the table. The cafés here aren't bad, maybe I should ask them for advice on how to start one.. she zoned out, looking down at the table. Regaining her thoughts when Ara asked if she was in ad guild or not. She shook her hands and gave a small giggle. "No, so far I've been going it solo. The guilds around here those days are pretty tough, and I don't think I have the guts to even kill a mid level boss," she said sheepishly, poking the tips of her fingers together. pretty weak compared to most people.. She sighed at the thought and took another mouthful from her drink.

    @Arabelle

  14. "Ah it's okay!" Spangie said with a smile. "I know a lot of people who don't do emotions. You just need to find the right group to open them up to, thats all," she explained, hoping that her alive would get to him. As soon as he mentioned PKers again she puffed and did a fake salute. "Sir! Yes! Sir!" she maintained her serious face for only a couple seconds before bursting into giggles. "Ah, sorry! I was actually trying to be serious," she laughed joyfully, rubbing her eyes. "But, yes. I knowww. I'm not that stupid," she threw in a small smirk at the end of her sentence.

    She turned to Tetsuo, a bright smile growing on her face, but quickly disappearing once she realized how serious he looked. "Hey are y-" she started, only to be cut off from his statements. Okay then.. as he began to rant more about whatever, making her slowly shrink back a bit farther. Oof, whats going on? She thought suspiciously, eyeing his clenched fists. The only words she was actually making out was 'Don't compare me to those cowards,' She bit her lip. So am I a coward? She clamped her mouth shut from saying it out loud. After a few seconds after he was finished, she slowly came up to him. "Why don't you calm down.. heheh.." she chuckled nervously as she gently -- but cautiously -- patted Tetsuko's shoulder.

    After a few more sentence of awkward silence, Tetsuko finally spoke up, leaving Spangie sighing in relief. Oh thank god, that would've been so weird. Perking her ears at Tetsuko's invitation she nodded her head vigorously. "Free food? Count me in!" she said excitedly, raising her hand high up in the air. He seems nice, what could go wrong?

    @Tetsuko@Paglikha

  15. Day 2 :

    Spangie stretched out her arms and gave a tired yawn. "Lets try to actually cook something today, yeah?" she said to no one, resulting in a dejected sigh. I'll definitely make something today! She said proudly, looking around her cafe. Lets get to work then.. she thought to herself as she pulled out a small pot, and placed a few materials on a plate beside her. C'mon, lets not burn anything this time.. Twenty Minutes Later - "Oh my gosh," Spangie sighed as she dumped a pile of mush into the dumpster again. Dang, the crafting Gods must hate me.. She grumbled to herself. Don't worry! I bet the next one will be fine! Five Minutes Later - "Are you kidding me?!" she hollered at the flaming pan, rubbing her eyes with her thumb and index finger. What luck is this?

  16. The blonde player shook her head. "Oh trust me, I'm anything but an angel," she gave a small chuckle.  "Yes.. player killing has gone up a lot recently.." her lips quivered at the sentence but she still had that automatic smile on her face. She took a gulp. "I've known about it, I've just never watched one happen.. hehe.." she gave a small laugh at the end, attempting to lighten the mood. She nodded sadly at Paglikha's statement about selfish and one-minded players. "I suppose your right.." she whispered, barely loud enough for anyone to hear. She shook her head and gleamed again. "Oh, you're part of a guild? That's so coool~ Well it's nice to meet you Paglikha!"

    Spangie gave a delighted reply to the bluenette and excitedly shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you too Tetsuko!" Spangie grinned feeling a bit more comfortable in the warm atmosphere she was in. "The pleasure is all mine, it's nice to meet you both!" she spoke cheekily and gave a small bow. "If it weren't for you guys I think that PKer would've thrown me in a hole haha.." she giggled nervously. "I won't ever have the guts to fight someone, and I'm still, confused why I even stood up in the first place," she raised her hands, making small circles around the left side of her head. "I get totally cuckoo sometimes," she stuck out her tongue in a jokingly way.

    @Paglikha@Tetsuko

  17. Day 1 :

    Spangie wiped the counters of the small café neatly. Ah, its good to finally own one.. She thought happily. Maybe I should try making stuff first. She pondered. Yeah. I should do that. I mean why did I even get this place then? She snuffled a giggle and looked around her shop lovingly. I seriously don't deserve this place.. She sighed, a smile smile forming on her lips. She sat on the counter, looking through her material. Only several minute later she started cooking. Lets goo! She screamed in her head as she started cooking. Twenty Minutes Later -  "Eeeek!" Spangie shrieked as a pan of flames erupted in front of  her, leaving a pile of ash in it. "Er.. no matter.. I'll keep trying.." she said nervously as she dumped the ash into a trashcan. Another Twenty Minutes Later -  Spangie threw another pan of ash away. "Tomorrow will be better!" She said gleefully, trying to get her hopes up. Don't worry.

    You enter the small shop, it's vintage smell and it's warm and cozy atmosphere makes you feel comfortable immediately.

    The bright yellow lanterns light up as you step closer to the counter, making the shop around you seem to light up.

    It's warm and cozy, a wonderful place to relax and to enjoy small company.

    A small but brightly colored bird perched on a nearby chair chirps to the young shop keeper as you enter.

    The youthful shop keeper looks up at you and stops whatever she's doing behind the counter, giving you a small bow and a bright smile.

    "Ah, welcome to Clementine! How may I help you?"

    Appearances :

    Spoiler

    Exterior :

    A lone and small cafe, painted into a pure white with pale yellow frames. A wooden door is placed on the far right of the shop, its wooden texture was colored with an apricot orange. Covering most of the front view was a large window, the cafe logo was placed smack dab in the middle with text painted under it. 'Clementine : 50% Off to Players Under Level 5!'

    Interior :

    The cafe interior is small and comfy, small bright yellow lanterns were attached to the ceiling with a thin white string. The tables and chairs, gave off an old but relaxing aura. A small cobblestone fireplace was set in the corner of the shop, warmth radiating from it. At the back of the cafe stood a decent counter, a few appliances set up on it. Having no kitchen, the shop owner decided to make her wonders here.

  19. Spangie was now in the town of Delilah, Floor Three. "So this is where my shop is going to be huh?" she made an unbreakable grin. The scenery was pleasant and the air smelled of nature and fresh wood. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have it. She sat on the rim of a bridge, trying her best not to fall in the small stream below her. It's going to be so wonderful.. She said happily. NPC's and players would occasionally pass her, giving the odd girl weird looks but she shrugged it off. "What would I call it?" she pondered out loud. "Something majestic, beautiful, cozy, warm.." she listed the adjectives she wanted it to be.

    "What about a type of food?" She poked her cheek. "Or a food?" she tilted her head. "Whats my favorite food.. apples? No.. Pancakes? No," she gave a small giggle at her ideas. "What about.. Clementine?" she kicked her legs back and forth.

    Yeah.. Clementine..

  20. "Nothing can stop this old cook," Maggie replied, shaking her hand and patting Spangie's back. "Now go be free! Open up your own shop, live!" she said, grinning. Reminds me of my parents when I left for college.. Spangie thought sadly, but sure enough, she nodded.

    "Of course, I wish you the best of luck!" Spangie said before bowing, "Goodbye!" she waved to Maggie -- which she had returned -- and left the restaurant. What do I do now? Spangie pondered as she walked out of the shop. Make a shop. Was her answer. Where to put it though.. I don't think there's much player owned shops in floor three.. Maybe there? She scratched her chin in question. She clapped her hands together. "Yeah, I'll make a shop in Floor three!" she smiled brightly, only a few seconds later did a pop up appear in front of her.

    You Have Completed The

    ' Earning a Living ' Quest!

    Spangie dismissed it with a smile. I sure have. She thought happily, before skipping to her destination.

  21. Maggie hugged Spangie so tightly that she swore that she was probably going to break her spine. "Awww! I'm so proud of you!" she said excitedly as Spangie placed the crepe in her inventory. "I'll miss having you around," she gave a fake sniffle, making Spangie give a small chuckle. "You were really fun to keep, but I have to let the little bird fly off," Maggie attempted to metaphorically say.

    Spangie gave a small giggle and hugged her back. "Aw, I'm going to miss you too!" she said, squeezing Maggie. "You better miss me!" she said jokingly, releasing Maggie from her grip. "I'll never forget you, okay?" she promised, holding her hand out to Maggie. I will honestly miss her, she's one of the few people I've actually talked to.. including NPCs.. she added the last part warily.

    "You are just the most adorable thing ever! Don't worry about ol' Maggie here though, I'll be alright."

  22. Maggie carefully guided Spangie on how to make crepe. Sure there were a few twists and turns but Spangie soon got the hang of it in a few minutes. The blonde player found it surprisingly easy to cook in the game. I wish it was this easy to cook in the real world, things would be so much easier. Spangie thought as Maggie instructed her the steps. "Is it really this easy to cook?" Spangie had asked Maggie, who only gave a small smirk and shrug as a reply. Before long, the crepe was finished, successfully, completed and any other word that meant done. Spangie gave a huge grin at her creation. "Whoop! I did it!" the young woman, cheered, bumping her fist upward. Maggie only held a proud and gentle gaze as she watched Spangie cheer happily.

    "Good job, don't you forget the skills I taught you today though," The NPC said, smirking at Spangie's enthusiasm.

    Spangie placed a hand over hear heart. "I promise I won't!" Not ever.

  23. Maggie gave her a thumbs up. "Yup! It's great actually!" She said, eyeing the items on the plate. "You sure did a great job, you sure you're not a pro cook?" She put her hands on her hips, and smirked. "Cause you sure know how to gather, I'm impressed!" She said, ruffling Spangie's hair.

    "Sorry to disappoint," she grinned. "But no, I'm not sadly," she giggled, batting Maggie's hand away. She clapped her hands together. "So how are we going to do this?" She said smiled, looking around kitchen. I guess she's going to help me do it? They wouldn't let me do this by myself right? She shook her head in attempt to rid the thought from her head.

    "I'll help ya through it, don't worry!" Maggie grinned at Spangie's expression but reassured her. "This'll be great!" Maggie said excitedly, almost like a little kid. I sure hope so.

    I'm so close..
