Oscar didn't leave the shop while Mac worked. It was quite something to watch a grandmaster craftsman do his thing. Even though Lady Luck wasn't on his side, Oscar was content with a rare axe. Big Chungus was only a placeholder for the time being. And now that he had a new weapon to accompany his new build, he was ready to take on that Quest Bahr mentioned to get it upgraded. "Thanks boss. I really appreciate you making this for me." Oscar hefted the axe, getting used to the weight. It was much heavier than a katana by a wide margin. With his new pitcher in tow, Oscar was once again able to hydrate without the strange after-effects of guzzling gallons of hot dog water. Why was he drinking hot dog water in the first place? He didn't know. What he did know was that he was refreshed, renewed, and - most importantly - hydrated. Oscar used his newfound energy to set about work in his kitchen. He achieved a state of culinary nirvana. As a reward for this, the universe graced him with the Godcraft. The much-needed Triple Perfect to finish out Bahr's ludicrously-long list of foods. What did he need all these hot dogs for anyway?

Oscar wanted to change builds. The Katana had long since lost its luster. Although he was happy with the single-target damage, the AoE damage left much to be desired. He could go without Iai considering that he rarely used it. In fact, the only time that it had even been remotely useful was during his battle with the Sea Wyvern. It sat there, unused and unwanted. He wanted a weapon where he didn't have to trade much single-target damage for his AoE. Therefore, the Two-Handed Battleaxe was the ideal candidate. Another day, another dish! Or so Oscar tried to tell himself in an effort to motivate himself to continue cooking. The much vaunted triple perfect craft had eluded him the day before, so hopefully it would grace him with its presence today. After a mighty round of cooking, it did not come. Instead its much-less-popular second cousin, the double perfect appeared in its place. Oscar wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth though. Or, in this case, a damage and accuracy horse. What was that metaphor even about? Oscar figured that he was just suffering the side effects from drinking too much

Oscar hummed to himself as he stepped into his kitchen. It was time to put the nose to the grindstone and get cracking on finishing up Bahr's order. He was fishing for a multicraft proc to finish out the last of Bahr's desired items. Anything sort of that and he would simply be wasting materials. Alas, he did not achieve what he was looking for. He walked away from his prep area with only a single perfect craft. So, true to form, he finalized the craft with an Accuracy and Protein Enhancement and called it a day. Hooray for accuracy and damage! He hated his life right now.

On the hunt for another Alchemist, Oscar decided to keep it local. There was a Grandmaster Alchemist on Floor 1, not too far from his hot dog stand. He entered an grabbed an entire stack of order forms and began filling them out. While he did so, he didn't actually see anyone in the shop. Once his massive stack of orders were complete, he left them on the table with a hefty purse of Col and Materials to help the Alchemist to their work. He wasn't going to walk into the shop and not make it worth the Alchemist's time. With that done, he made his exit from the shop while whistling a tune. 2

A grand day. Oscar was one step closer to successfully completing Bahr's massive order. He just a little more work and it would all be done and put to bed. He was more enthused than ever to step into his kitchen. He worked like a demon, creating culinary concoctions the likes of which would make even the Five-Star Chefs of in the real world jealous. His hot dogs would make them cower in fear of his culinary prowess. If only he could cook this well in the real world. But such is life. At least he could could find solace in the fact that while he was stuck in Aincrad.

Oscar had work to do. He took Bahr's order forms with him to the kitchen and began to separate them out. Some of the crafts had to be snacks, while the others were meals. Since he had already taken a hefty chunk out of the meals Bahr had asked for, Oscar decided to move onto the snacks. It took some doing, but he managed to successfully craft nearly all of the snacks Bahr had requested from his shop. Happy to see the order almost complete, Oscar put the package together and got ready to deliver the second wave of dishes to the Bloodedge next door.

His time had come. His preparations the day before had not been wasted. In walked Bahr, who grabbed a ton of order forms and began to fill them out. It was almost prophetic how he had named the dishes from the day before the exact names that Bahr was placing down on the order forms. Truly, he was the second coming of Nostradamus. Only he was Oscardamus, Lord of the Hot Dogs. After the order was placed, Oscar got to cooking. It was best to take care of the meal orders first. If Bahr needed the snacks, he could hit up Oscar's general stock. Soon, he was done. And, with his preparations from yest

Oscar had a feeling. That feeling you get when you know something is looming on the horizon. Someone would have need of his expertise with hot dogs. And soon. It might not be today, it might not be tomorrow. But soon. He worked in a frenzy, preparing himself and his shop for their Reckoning. He wasn't even paying attention to what he was setting for the dishes' names and descriptions. It was like he was in a trance, looking ever onward to the horizon and what was soon to come. He knew these hot dogs were destined for greatness. He just didn't know how.

Today, Oscar was successful for the first time in crafting a Perfect Feast. He didn't know what kind of market there was for such an item, but he did know that they had presented a massive challenge to him in the past. Oscar would add them to the rest of his stock that would line his shelves come his Grand Re-Opening Day. He had plenty of stock now, a solid selection of buffs to choose from. He'd have to refrain from sampling from his own stock as much as he had. Though the buffs were wonderful to have, his shop also hadn't made any money in weeks. It was time to fix that.

Another fantastic day for crafting. Oscar managed to make three Perfect-quality foods, one of which being the much sought-after Triple craft. He was riding high as he did the dishes and cleaned up around his shop. Soon, he would be open for business again! He was excited to actually line his bare displays with his glorious meat cylinders. One more day and his grand re-opening would begin! He placed his dishes to the side, along with the veritable smorgasbord of other meals and headed out of the shop for the night.

Another day, another dog. Oscar had quite a good amount of luck in the kitchen today. While not everything he crafted was Perfect quality, he did manage to luck into a very efficient triple craft. Pleased with this, he put the finishing touches on the dishes and began to clean up. One Focused Elusive Hot Dog and three Ultra Lucky Hot Dogs were the fruits of the day's labors. He was beginning to have enough merchandise to begin stocking his shop. Just a few more days like this and his stores would be full to bursting.

Another great day for crafting. Oscar was beginning to get more consumables than he knew what to do with. Perhaps, once he got a good stock going, he would replenish his shop's stock with the fruits of his labors. But that was a ways away. For now, Oscar would need to remain focused on his cooking and make sure everything was just so. For the first time in a while, he crafted a rare item. It wouldn't be sold. He had a use for it. He smiled at his work and then began to clean up for the day. He sure didn't get a lot of business. Dazia hadn't even come back by to pick up her hot dog yet. It was

Today was a good day. He put the materials he had farmed to good use. Five perfect crafts, three of them multiples. Everything else got trashed in lieu of those three. He completed the order he'd been given days ago and even made some more farming consumables for himself and Bahr. He was proud to see that he had come so far. The crafting experience from so many perfect crafts wasn't bad either. He would be rank 10 in no time! Oscar plated everything and then cleaned up. He sent a message to Dazia to come collect her food and then headed home for the night. Her dish would be there in the mornin

Oscar was rolling in Perfect crafts today! Every perfect that came up was also a duplicate craft. His stores appreciated the sudden influx of buffs to consume as he was low on both funds and consumables. But now, he had enough to last him for quite some time. Maybe Bahr would even be willing to buy a set of farming consumables again. It wouldn't rake in much cash, but every little bit helped. He really needed to stop being so lazy and go hunting. There were plenty of farming spots that he could visit. With all of these buffs, there was no fathomable reason to not do it.

Oscar came screaming in through the front door looking absolutely excited. Having just picked up <<Yukianesa>> from Macradon, he was elated to read the message that Bahr had sent him. He bolted back to the Crusty Bahrnacle posthaste. It was then he had noticed that Bahr and Kit were both hanging out in the shop. Were they there the whole time? He had been so lost in his head that he hadn't noticed when he was here last. Oscar shot them both an apologetic grin as he picked up his new armor. "Really sorry about being so rude earlier.
