Nari's side glance towards the other player confirmed that they were alright, if for the moment. It appeared as though they had been pushed back ever so slightly - the deer giving more problems than they'd likely originally expected - but nothing about the situation overly concerned her. At least, not yet. Her attention returned to the wolves that had begun to surround her, the stun effect wearing off and leaving them pacing in preparation, as if looking for an opening in her defences. She smiled as she swung the scythe back behind her into her normal ready stance as her eyes shifted ov -
The vultures scattered as Nari approached, spreading out in numerous directions in order to avoid her reach - or at least, in an attempt to avoid her reach. She let the scythe slip ever so slightly in her grip as she brought it around in a twirl, just enough that the reach extended to catch the first two of the flying vultures and send them slamming into the ground as the weapon came around; the force carrying through and using her momentum to cause the stun effect on the two creatures without fault. Nari spun again - turning to face the two other vultures that had managed to slip to her

The silence fell between the two of them for a while, content to set it rest and simply enjoy the comfort of one another. Nari felt herself slowly falling asleep; the combination of the warmth in the air, the rock and just the general tiredness she was feeling after the conflict finally getting to her. It wasn't long before the inactivity got to Nari, and she found herself fidgeting in place, trying desperately to remain still and yet unable to do so. "Alright...fine, I get it. You can't stay here any longer, let's go do something." Onóra sighed even as she forced herself up, Nari quick

"Would you...bring that back!" Nari called out to the small kitsune that was running across the open recording studio, her notebook in mouth as it found itself drawing the purple-haired woman into a game of chase. "I swear if I catch you..." The threat went unfinished as Nari managed to swipe the kitsune's back legs with her arm, causing it to drop the notebook before skittering to the other side of the piano, out of Nari's reach. "Aha! Alright...now I've gotta do some work...we'll play in a few moments, alright?" -
Onóra laughed in response, waving a hand in the air as if shooing something away. She shook her head, before settling in against the rock, and Nari. The warmth of the air had already been pressing in against Nari, making her uncomfortable, but the extra body heat was enough to make her thankful that the system didn't allow them to sweat. A brief second of consideration, and then she was pushing back against the other woman, trying to ignore the heat and find a comfortable position. "Nah...I just need a break. And this damned heat isn't helping, either. Why did they have to make this place

She let out a breath as the final vulture exploded into the air, leaving the two women standing alone in the rocky terrain. Onóra gave her a quick thumbs up, before checking her menu quickly, leaving Nari to glance around. They'd managed to clear two of the mobs, but she figured they could easily take out something else while they were here - if they had the desire to do so. Her eyes roamed the area, looking over elementals and more of the vultures, before landing on a nearby group. Her body shifted to move, when Onóra spoke up, stopping her mid-movement. "Maybe a bit of a break? That last fig

Nari giggled at the words that escaped the ginger, before looking back at the door they had entered through. Almost instinctively, her response slipped from her own lips, a tinge of sarcasm drawling them. "What...does that mean you're not looking forward to the walk back, either? And here I thought you were all about that snow and cold and wind!" Turning back to the area they'd just entered, Nari let her gaze roam over what was clearly meant to be a rendition of a medieval styled castle, designed with all the flares and flashings that one would expect to find in a building made for the la -
"What the-" The words barely made it out of Nari's mouth as she let her momentum tip her, forcing her hard into the ground - but avoiding the retaliatory strike that had been coming her way. While her own attack had missed the vulture, Nari had also avoided being impaled by the thing's second talon, which had made its way overtop of her weapon and directly towards her face. "Drive it back! I need to reset myself..." Nari rolled to her feet as she called out to the blonde, forcing herself to stand and bring her weapon back into its ready position. She eyed the vulture as she considered h

The first three exploded in a shower of shards as Nari completed a slide underneath their talons, before bringing the scythe up and around to cleave through the trio all at once. She took a single second to catch her breath, before turning to find the final creature still engaged with Onóra. So far, it looked like the blonde had managed to push back the creature, even going to far as to whittle it down ever so slightly. "Any day now...would be nice..." The blonde called out, parrying yet another attack before stepping back out of the way of the creature's wing strike. Nari moved slowly,

Nari's scythe swung through the air, slamming into one, then another of the vultures as she tried to obliterate the group as quickly as possible. She continued her dance of death, letting the blade whirl around her in a dangerous way - but making sure to stay well and clear of her friend. As the first three quickly fell beneath her blows - the stun effect taking over their bodies and causing them to halt momentarily, Nari turned to find the fourth and final missing from the pack. A curse left her lips as she spun to find it engaged with Onóra, the blonde parrying blow after blow in an at

Nari sighed as the first group of vultures disappeared, blowing into shards and drifting on the fake wind for a single moment. She turned to face Onóra with a grin, before waving a hand at the next group. "Alright...easy pickings around here, yeah? Should we continue a bit, or are you feeling like we should be done here?" The blonde stuck her tongue out, before rushing off without a word. Nari shook her head, following a few steps behind Onóra. The second pack - another group of the vultures - seemed to watch their approach, as if trying to anticipate what they would do. Nari had never s

The vultures made it easy, turning to face the two charging women as they approached. Nari didn't waste time, splitting off to the left side of the group to give herself an angle before pushing off and twisting her body, letting her spin continue to carry her forward momentum, and loosing her grip on the scythe ever so slightly to stop it from being entirely rigid. She felt, and saw, as the blade slammed into two of the vultures, sending them careening to the ground to lay stunned for the moment, before her weapon continued through and sliced the final two. She stepped back then, letting

It had been some time since Nari had last visited the second floor. With how far she'd come, there hadn't been much need to return to the lower location; the upper levels providing almost everything she needed and more - and all of it at a proper cost. Still, she found herself standing in the centre of the coutryard of Urbus, glancing around at the thin crowd that moved throughout the small city settlement. Most were NPCs - those stuck here for all eternity, based upon their programming and designs. A few players moved throughout - those who had fallen behind the forward push; either du

After a while, Nari pushed herself up off the ground, realising that they couldn't stay there forever. Onóra glanced up at her, before pulling herself up and stepping up beside Nari. "Shall we?" The longsword was in her hand again, held in a comfortable manner that bespoke someone who was used to wielding it. Nari took a single glance at the sword, before making up her mind. It would be a shame to come all this way...even with the danger. Besides, a few basic mobs shouldn't be a problem, not here... "Yeah, let's get this done. Sooner we clear this area, sooner we can face that thin

Neither landed a hit, the two dancing around one another as Fae continued to try and get past the defences of the heavily skinned troll. In turn, the troll was unable to keep up with Fae's natural speed - far superior to the troll's slow, almost robust movements that left Fae a good distance away before it had even completed its swing. What little worry Nari had originally, dissipated as she watched the two dance their trial of combat. Fae was clearly at an advantage for speed - so long as she was able to find a way through the thing's armour, she'd be able to take it down without any con

The fourth somehow felt colder than Nari remembered - or perhaps it was just her imagination. Either way, she found herself bouncing from foot to foot while she waited, the small kitsune staring up at her with a look that clearly stated it was questioning her mentally. "Oh shove off, it's not like..." She didn't get to finish the sentence, as the teleporter activated. Turning to see, she watched as the form blinked into existence, the familiar face stepping off in a jacket that was clearly designed for someone else. Stepping up to the teleporter, Nari adjusted the hood - her hands g -

Nari watched for a moment as Nora moved off to engage a few nearby deer - animals that Nari hadn't seen in the garden before, but was happy to notice. They were majestic in a way, and although it was sad to see them be destroyed in any means, Nari was happy the the girl had chosen simpler targets to begin with. Content that the other would likely be okay for the moment, she turned herself towards targets of her own. A group of wolves, moss covered and likely having been preying upon the nearby deer, caught Nari's eyes. She gave one last glance towards Nora - making sure the other girl w -
"Yeah, yeah...a bit more, if you're up for it? Would be a shame to come all this way and not take advantage of everything." There were numerous groups of elementals and vultures nearby, the groups shifting around the lava rivers and pools in a pattern that Nari couldn't make any sense out of from where she was. "For now though I just want to lay here a while and maybe stop dying a bit." "Mmm...yeah a bit of resting is...yeah, I'm all for that." The response came, the voice sounding as tired as Nari was feeling. She laid back against a nearby rock, letting her head rest against it. She won

"Ha...ha!" Nari sighed as the phoenix exploded into shards, leaving only a dialogue message with her reward for all her work. She closed out the box, before letting herself sink to the ground. The fight had taken a lot out of her, and for the moment Nari wanted nothing more than to lay on the ground and fall asleep; heat be damned. Instead, she forced herself into a seated position, trying to regulate her breathing like she'd done so often before. "Okay...that was...that was intense..." Onóra's voice sounded as winded as Nari felt, the blonde kneeling beside her. The longsword had been sh

Surprise. They'd entirely managed to take the thing by surprise, their combined attack - coming from each side of the creature - had caught it unawares, unable to respond or retreat as the two blades drove into its body. Nari's scythe cut through the defences, leaving the bird open for Onóra's own strike. Both blades slamming into it, tearing into the health and driving the bar down once more before the two women stepped back from the creature and re-centered themselves. "Almost there...few more strikes and this thing should be down for good." Nari spoke through gritted teeth, the lengt

Onóra's blade drove through the phoenix, and for a brief second Nari wondered if it would simply end here, the creature exploding into the shards that would announce that they had defeated it. Her hopes, however, didn't last long. Instead the phoenix exploded into a burst of fire - not harming either of the two, but also signifying to Nari that the fight wasn't yet over. She spun around, watching as the flames landed on the ground a few steps away, before beginning to reform themselves. "Huh...I thought we got this..." Onóra seemed to hesitate for a single second, before she took up her

Another shriek as it felt the biting blade of Nari's scythe, the weapon tearing a portion of the wing off and forcing the phoenix to the ground. Nari leapt backwards, clearing the space between her and it, as it began thrashing around. The beak snapped, trying to catch anything in front of it as its fury and frustration came out - the pain it was feeling, or programmed to feel, driving it into an almost animalistic response. She could see Onóra on the other side, longsword at her side and ready, but distance kept between herself and the bird. "On three...rush it - it can't take on both o

Progress. They were almost there, Nari could see the creature faltering as the static shock coursed through its body. The shriek that came from it causing it to retreat, rather than press its own attack against them. She threw a grin at Onóra, the blonde returning the expression as the two of them exhaled slightly. The fight was far from over, but they'd already done so much - made so much progress. It wouldn't be wasteful to take a single second to reconcile, to enjoy the moment. "Come on...we're almost there...let's drive this thing into the flames of the river, before it can rebirth!
