  1. Firefly pulled her hooded shawl over her head and made sure it was tightened down enough that a gust of wind wouldn’t slide it back. She then knelt down to Myst to make sure her tiny shawl was on tight enough to keep her safe from the kicked up sand. Seeing the discomfort in her new companion, she’d decide to pick the feline up and carry her under her robes. Soon, Star and her would convene near the quest start location. She was actually excited to be going on another quest with him, but all this sand was harshing the vibe pretty quickly. “Guh. Sand is awful, I hate it.” The girl would co
  2. The Tracker would find the meet up place along with Wulfrin, who agreed to come along. He was a lot stronger than her so maybe he’s could actually help the tank that put out the message of a free carry. She wasn’t actually sure what it meant other than it would give her experience and if she wanted to see more of Aincrad, she needed to get stronger. The small group travelled through the empty Necropolis where the Forgotten King laid to rest. He was back and could reform his undead army to take over the entirety of Aincrad. That’s at least what the information on the quest said. From the s
  3. Firefly would reach down and pick her new friend up to hold in her arms, allowing Pollux to pet the small little critter should she wish. A window would popup in front of her, allowing her and her guild-mate the moment check the cat’s gender and a prompt to choose a name for her. “Female, huh?” She would take note, listening to Pollux ask about the name of her new familiar. All things considered, Firefly didn’t think it would happen so quickly. She felt like she’d just yesterday been inspired to get a cat because of Nyanko. Nyanko was named from Japanese words. She knew Nyan was the sound
  4. The duo had been at the walk for quite some time now but Firefly’s methodical approach was proving very useful. With quick pace, she had eliminated dead ends and found an opening in the maze. “Oh wow. There’s a wide opening in the walls here. Stay on your guard.” Firefly would draw the butterfly cross-blade from its sheathe on her back. It glowed lightly, mixing with the light of her new friend’s glow stone. ‘I could die.’ It was all that she could think of now, especially as the stomping of the minotaur came out from behind the other side’s wall. When she’d jumped in front of Star,
  5. Firefly would stand up from her seat and stretch out her muscles. “Wonderful food Wulfrin. Whomever made it did a great job.” She would compliment, hoping that he would pass her message along if he was not the one who prepared it. The group would soon find themselves in Zackariah’s shop. She’d been here more than once, wondering about the fears of wondering outside the safe zone as someone who could barely comprehend written word. It hadn’t seem like the problems of this world involved her. Now that she was making friends, however, she realized that the people here aren’t just sharing a b
  6. The Tracker took a moment to swallow and clearing her throat before speaking up to formally introduce herself. Even if Wulfrin had already introduced her, it was still polite to do it herself. "Hello, sirs. My name is Firefly, or you can just call me Samantha or Sam if you prefer that though!" She would mention to the people who didn't know her. "I'm a low level DPS that just needs to get this quest finished already. I can do a lot of damage for my level though so I'll definitely be caring my weight." She finished up her food and stood from her chair. "Right, so we should probably get sta
  7. After receiving Wulfrin's message, Firefly decided that she would actually decide to join along. She hadn't yet been through the First Lesson's quest simply because she didn't want to bother others about joining her for the beginner quests. She would be able to do them just fine all alone but if he was going offer her a spot she would gladly take it. Collecting all her things, Samantha would teleport down to the Floor of Beginnings forgetting to actually respond to his message. Nevertheless, she would find herself at the cafe where Wulfrin was laying down his feast. "Good morning Wulfrin.
  8. 'I expect you'll go far around here.' Ty had almost repeated exactly what Star had said to her after they'd saved Koko from that cave. In all honesty, the only place that she cared about going was the unknowns. Her overall goal was seeing the sights no one else had. "It'll be safe to assume that it will just charge at us with reckless intent, like a cat that just heard it's bag of food open." The duo would soon enter the Labyrinth. Firefly would intermitted mark on the wall with her chalk, making the symbol of a butterfly wing to show which paths they'd been down. They would find themselv
  9. Approved, enjoy the wonderful sights of Aincrad!
  10. Back at the entrance of the maze, Firefly was about to walk in shortly after ensuring her new friend was still following behind her but they insisted on asking her some questions. Not that the questions were bad to cover beforehand but she was ready to get exploring! "Oh, right." The digital sounds of her menu would be the only sound between the two before a well kept, green notebook appeared in hand. Sam would open it up and find the page she'd wrote the information down that she'd gotten from the Guild's data bank. "Both of the Minos are about the same power level, one being a little mo
  11. Firefly chuckled nervously as the girl decided to join along. She’d felt like Ty was a little forced into helping out thanks to Larbrook’s incessant pestering. The best she could do now was help by picking up the slack. “Great, you know deal then. Go rough up those Minos and bring me their pendants!” He would encourage and swiftly the two women were left to themselves. ”Ty, got it. I’m Firefly, or Sam if you prefer. I’ve only been in combat once but I can hold my own.” The swordswoman would accept the party invite as they spoke. “I know the path to the labyrinth maze. Let me lead you ther
  12. When Firefly realized she was being talked to by someone other than Larbrook, she immediately shifted her attention but would quickly be cut off. "Oh, hello-." "Perfect!" The man would say ushering the newcomer to join the conversation they were having. "You, my lady, can help this little missy with a quest of glory! The minos of the labyrinth are strong combats to test the strength of those who bear arms. You should rally with her and show her what true courage looks like!" He would almost force her way into the quest using Firefly as leverage, though it certainly seemed like he wasn't a
  13. Search of the Hoya The Tracker found herself at the Labyrinthine maze she was soon to investigate. The man who had approached her in Aruyt had insisted that she hunt the ‘Hoya Minos’ the moment he saw the weapon her back. Despite how much she tried to explain that she was not a fighter at all. His relentless pressure had gotten her to at least to check the place out. Now that she was here she was having second thoughts. Ultimately she would return to Labrook. ”Ah, returned already? If you killed the Hoya so quickly you must be quite the warrior! I have an eye for that sorta thing, mi
  14. Firefly took the compliment with a bright smile. She was still shaken up from jumping in front of near-certain death. However that quickly faded as she chatted with the wonderfully lovely child and Morningstar on their walk back home, more-so when they arrived and watched their reunion. It was familiar to her: Getting separated from her parents in a public place only to hear their voice after what felt like days away from them. This was the first time she would ever see this interaction and it brought a tear of joy to her eye. When handed the reward from Koko’s mother, Firefly tried to pe
  15. The silver-furred feline was just about to hop off the little perch she stood upon and go about her day before Samantha made her move. The girl would approach a little aggressively but staying careful to not spook it. “Wait, I promise you’ll love this. If you do, I can get you more, for sure!” The begging was not a good look for a cute girl like herself but she had lost a lot of shame in the real world thanks to her blindness. The cat did seem more interested now, so it would crane its neck to her hand and begin eating. By the time she’d finished the food Samantha’s hand was empty. “There
  16. Pollux would encourage her quietly from behind, moving away to ensure that the familiar wouldn’t get spooked from multiple people. A smart move on her part probably. Firefly wasn’t really an expert on domesticating animals but it seemed like too much of a presence would quickly mark her as a threat rather than a potential friend. The girl attempted to get close to the stray cat, approaching as quietly as possible as its eyes studied her. It would observe her momentarily as she reach out her hand with the food. “H-here, I have something tasty for you.” Her tone of voice notably quieter and
  17. Soon the group would find themselves a safe distance outside of the cave, basking in the warm sunlight against their digital skin. Firefly stood there looking up to the sky, taking a few seconds to catch her breath then looking to her companions. "R-Right. Good job." The fear was setting in now. She had attacked her first mob with a chance that it might instantaneously murder her. Her hands and feet had moved on their own. The processing power that her brain had in this moment was more than the time it had taken to execute that sword art and leave the cave. She could have seriously died.
  18. Samantha would take a moment to survey the area. This was her first time actually seeing the world from outside of the cities. It honestly was underwhelming as she had seen it all from the confines of the safe zone but something really did feel different to her. It was the same sense as when she powered on the NerveGear. I new place worth exploring for its simplicity alone. "If you find any interesting places, I would like to know about them then. And, of course, if I find anything you might be interested in I will make sure you know about them." The teenager would smile at her new friend.
  19. Since you've already cleared the quest, there's no reason for you to have to the quest again unless you want to change your familiar. The SP is refunded like normally at no cost because you're switching over from 2.6. If you wish to get your familiar a skill some time down the road all you have to do is invest in the skill of your choice! This is approved uwu
  20. Once all their information sharing was finished, Samantha returned her notebook to her inventory. “Then it would be hard for you to miss. I’ll definitely be visiting that area again when I need supplies.” Her companions mention of the several undiscovered places of Aincrad had piqued her interest. “You think so? I know that you mean places that you’ve discovered but I wanna see sights no one else is privy to. Wonderful views of mountains and forests, oceans and rivers, deserts and ruins. I wanna see all kinds of things like that.” Sharing her hearts desires with the strangers around
  21. Seeing that she was only slightly wrong was a little nerve wracking. If it hadn’t been for Morningstar she could have easily just left the child behind. She would nod to Morningstar in the dark before realizing they were in the dark(not because of her blindness which she was all too used to) and quickly say “Right. I’ll watch your back.” The sounds were a cacophony of footsteps, beating wings and a sobbing child. All of that until they reached the end of the cave that they’d entered. Where the bat mentioned by Star had been waiting for their appearance. It lashed out from the darkness qui
  22. After her last turn in the cup game, Firefly found herself alone. That didn’t bother her though! That meant more time to wander and witness all the lovely sights at her own pace without anyone feeling restless. Firefly would do just that, wandering the event grounds taking in all the smells and sights that she could. Sooner or later she would find herself in front of a man named Jai. He would offer her a chance to play a board game called Gyan Chauper. “I’ve never heard of it before, but I would be glad to give it a try if you could teach me!” Some time spent engaging with the rules
  23. Samantha quickly moved behind Morningstar when she realized her attacked missed and the bat would soon retaliate. She wasn't exactly sure the danger that was in front of her but it was clear by how quickly her partner moved to aid her that she should be worried about it. "She's not too much farther in." Firefly could tell from just the sounds. Although, maybe her ears weren't as well trained as she expected or she was beginning to adapt to her eyesight. She had expected the child Koko to be only a couple hundred feet away at most. "P-Perhaps I was mistaken." The girl would admit. "This is
